Appliance dolly was not available due to store being closed. Only regular dolly was able to be used

T CNot open when picking up the unit I rented. The set up of having to use your smart phone to get the truck was a joke. The information provided was incorrect and it took over 45 minutes to finally get the truck keys for the unit I rented. To make it worse, when I tried to return the truck when I was finished, took almost another hour because of your terrible smart phone setup. I will NEVER rent a U-Haul truck again unless it is from a dealer that is open when I am doing so.

Henry BTrailer needed to be overhauled. Only right turn signal and right tail light worked, all but two of the marker lights did not work. I had to dive in some rain and water came through the floor. Facility and their personnel were great.

Kay DI had made a reservation for the open trailer with the motorcycle choke a week prior to picking it up. I called two days prior to picking it up to verify it was the motorcycle trailer and was assured it was. I showed up to get the trailer and it was not the motorcycle one. So I had to go to another location. They had the motorcycle trailer. I told them I needed a motorcycle trailer. As the assistant is backing me up, he was trying to grove me the open trailer without the motorcycle choke. I had to explain the difference again. Eventually I got the correct trailer and was on my way. I was told I could drop off the trailer at any location in lake Charles, but I soon received a text from a drop off site that didn't allow after hours drop off and wasn't open on Sundays for drop off. So I spent 30 minutes on the phone to get that changed to a location that was still open. Pretty disappointing experience all the way around due to people not listening or paying attention.

Glenn LAT2911X running lights and brake system inoperative... I left at 4am and had to run my emergency flashers to keep from getting run over by 18 wheelers and the braking system wasn't working so my classic car got slammed forward and back every time I touched the brake or accelerator. It was a scary and dangerous situation for me. I've been renting from Uhaul for decades and never had an experience like this. There should be a way to test equipment before renting it and putting people's lives in danger.

Norma PThe first drop off location no one could unhook me. I have two hernias and can't lift, yet this 80 Yr old secretary told me I had to take it off. I'm 72 years old and this was the worst experience I've ever had. On the front end there was a delay because of a nation wide computer outage.On the tail end, an eighty year old secretary said the owner was out and could unhook my trailer after a 1 000 mile trip. Ihadto go to another location. I feel like I'm due a partial refund. This 2nd location was good.
