Self check in process took too long and involved. Taking pictures with a cell phone in the cold rain wasn't conducive to ones health. Something for corporate to consider, we were charged extra for extra miles taken to avoid covid-19 hot spot areas.

Kelly was quite rude from the moment my dad walked in... he went to the other location and reserved a trailer..... when I stopped by to confirm what my dad did (my mom had passed a month earlier, so dads memory was not clear) Kelly was not happy that he went to the other location to rent and feels he ripped the company off by asking for two free days..... which he had refused to give him.... I walked away praying for this man. When we picked up the trailer, a different man helped us who was very very kind and considerate and most helpful.

After confirming trailer lights worked, I left and loaded up the trailer. On my way out of town, a trailer light failed. I stopped at the pick up location and the worker said he didn't work on the trailer and to call roadside assistance. He then said that maybe Carquest could fix it. This kind of service is ridiculous. I will not be returning to that location.

True master uhaul saved my day when U-Haul Trails End refused to honor my previously set reservation with them .. U-Haul Trail's End decleared my reservation on Saturday morning invalid because they were closed for weekend and told me I was out of luck ... but then driving back after the huge disappointment and rudeness over the phone I came across True Masters Uhaul and they were able to help me. True Masters is awesome. Trails End is a huge disappoint. Please let them know of my frustration. Thank you

When we pulled off the busy road into the parking lot the manager or person on duty came out yelling at us that we hadn't pulled up to the right location and why didn't we do with the sign told us to. There was nothing going on with other customers so we weren't disrupting him while he was otherwise busy and if he had simply asked us to we would have moved the truck to where he would like us to. Coming off that busy road frankly we didn't see the sign he referred to and even after we looked around it wasn't very evident. He appeared to be very angry and it was an extraordinarily unpleasant experience. He gruffly opened the back of the vehicle for the inspection and said that it was dirty and we had to pay extra. My wife and I had carefully swept out and cleaned the vehicle. He saw a couple of small blue plastic chips that we don't even know where they came from. They were tiny less than the size of a dime and only about three small pieces and they might have fallen off the upper shelf but we're not a part of anything that we had transported. I took a photo of him pointing to the so-called dirt. He told us it would cost $40 for cleanup although I haven't looked at the ticket to see what the actual charge was. He got out a broom did one sweep of about 30 seconds duration and that was it. I have photos with him pointing to the so-called dirt.For a couple of decades I have been regularly renting vehicles from U-Haul through the organization that I direct and have always had very positive experiences especially here in San Angelo. I've never experienced anything like this or for that matter in any other business encounters I've had in years.Maybe he was having a bad day but he certainty made ours unpleasant.

Location was closed but I was still able to drop off the trailer. Can't comment on the inside or the cleanliness since I was unable to enter. I did however get a confirmation the following morning that my rental had been received. All worked out as well as could be expected.

We arrived at our scheduled date and time. The truck we were to pick up was blocked by three drop offs. We called and spoke to people in San Antonio office. They said this has happed twice this am at the same location. We ordered a 10 ft truck and they reserved a 15 ft truck. The people in San Antonio told us the only available truck was a 26 foot. I had to talk to speak with two different people t tell them we did not want a 26 foot truck. We were only moving table and chairs. I finally had to ask to speak to the owner and have them move the drop off trucks blocking our reserved truck. Once this happened it took 15 minutes to get approved to pick up the key. We were delayed one hour picking up our reserved truck. The truck was dropped off at the correct location, but could not park where it was designated, due to no availability. Parked truck close as possible and followed procedures on U-Haul app. I will never use U-Haul again. Very bad experience

Uhaul San Antonio Region should be shut down. Ineas forced to drive 50 miles round trip to drop off at a location that was not agreed upon when I rented. The location I was asigned in Fredericksburg TX wouldnt accept the return so forced me to drive to Kerrville. San Antonio refional office was rude and offensive. i will never rent from Uhaul again becasue of this Region. Manager and staff should be fired.

Provide some sort of jack to lift the trailer off the ball. I tried and tried and eventually called 1800 uhaul to have someone come out to lift the trailer off. After being on hold for 25 minutes and not getting to talk to someone, I started looking for the truck jacket. Use the truck jacket to left the trailer up, and then jumped on the back of the truck to dislodge the hitch. Customer service gets a flat ZERO RATING. They never answered. A hold of more than 25 minutes just to get a live person is ridiculous. What I need real help. The salesman used a jack to put it on my hitch, he should have left it out for me to use once I returned.

Uhaul Agent hooking up the 12' trailer neglected to secure the trailer to my hitch receiver, the trailer was attached but the screw down bolt was not at all tightened! I drove a few miles with the trailer rattling and pushing/pulling on my hitch, came to a stop to discover the free play on trailer attachment, I could have lost the trailer and or damaged my vehicle! NOT COOL! I called the agent and made him aware of his oversight! A few months ago I reviewed another Agent in Lindale TX, who deceptively let me drive off with inoperable turn signals and no brake lights, please see my prior reviews. UHAUL NEEDS TO OVERHAUL THEIR AGENTS!

First, my 70 year old grandmother and myself had to physically move trailers that were parked directly behind the truck I had to pick up. Also when I had to call about something the man that answered was so rude and even laughed at me asking “I don't know what you want me to do about it”. The uhaul corporate was extremely helpful though! Chris with customer service really helped and was so genuine, nice, and concerned about my concerns!
