We were notified the night before pickup that we would be getting a 26' truck instead of the 20' we reserved & had to pick it up at this New Port Richey location that was 30 miles away (each direction) instead of the Largo location we requested. This was an issue because the largo location was the Uhaul storage facility we had all of our stuff stored in and have been a loyal customer for 11 years with this storage unit. The truck was filthy and full of dog hair in the cab and had glue or sticky stuff & glass in the box area. My husband called them shortly after picking up the truck because it had an exhaust leek (fumes in the cab) and was very loud because there were probably holes in the muffler. This was not a good experience to say the least! We had to drive from Florida to Maryville TN with the windows lowered so we would not pass out. The front tires weren't balanced so it was like riding on a jack hammer. This truck should not have been on the road. Not to mention that we did not want a truck that big, it wasn't needed, was harder to handle cost a lot more in gas. We had to drive an extra 2 hours to pick up the truck at the changed location. I mentioned this to the person I spoke to on the phone the night before but she acted like she was doing me a favor saying it was an upgrade.
