honestly if I could. give. 0 stars I would. we rented this uhaul to transport the decorations for our wedding. our reservation was at a location, but was then. switched. to a different location and the business was open until 6pm, which is also listed on the front door of the business.. my husband arrives, calls the business and no answer or call back, and proceeds to wait for 45minutes. we have friends waiting at our house to help us pack every single wedding item for us to leave for Tennessee! So my husband goes up to the camera shows his phone with the reservation/confirmation, the money for said reservation had already came out of my account, his drivers license, the his phone number written on a piece of paper, and even checked it in on the app He took the trailer, which we are aware he shouldn't have, but this is. our wedding. Neither my husband, nor I receive a phone call. that night or the day after. ON OUR WEDDING DAY the individual called me and informed me that he reported the trailer stolen and my husband. to. be has a warrant. out for his. arrest. I ask if we can go to another location close to us to meet his request for signatures, but he said he was unable to. We offered other solutions, but the only option he gave us was to return the. uhaul. to his location only. This couldn't happen as it was a 4 hour drive 1 way and it had all of our wedding in it. Not only did he do this, but he was absolutely hateful, apathetic, unprofessional and offered. no feasible solution while berating me. Thankfully my husband immediately called the regional office and was able to get everything resolved, but balling my eyes out because. the. man I'm marrying has a warrant out for his. arrest, and the uhaul. containing our. wedding is reported stolen property as the event space is opening for set up. Also we returned it early and still no one was there!

We extended our reservation by one day but at drop off there was not a person on site so by the time they got there and got around to checking our truck in we were charged for two extra days instead. When the extra charges were sent to us we also noticed that there was a mileage charge for going the slightest bit over on mileage but our pick up location and drop off locations both changed adding on at least 50 of those miles. Both of these were uhaul issues that cost us an extra $100. It definitely was not a fair transaction.

I had a 930 pick up time, my key was not in the self serve box. Was told I'd have to wait until the place opened at 10 am, the employee didn't show up until 10:20. When we went to drop off there was no where to park the truck.

I was given a car with gas light on and I was charge because I added gas. Paperwork said was 1/4 but gas light was on. I showed to a staff at location before I take it but didn't help at all. Thanks  Felix

The 'hidden' add on fees are overwhelming! Cleaning fee: $25, Fuel service fee: $30.00, Fuel charge 10 gall.: $54.60, are absolutely price inflating of my rental. Such business is wrong and misleading. I would like this charges to be refunded.

No one there within published hours open. Extremely tight property making it difficult to find a spot and then to maneuver a trailer into that spot. Had difficulty handling the trailer on my own; had to engage a stranger to help me.

He was extremely rude and disrespectful. Me and other clients there were all irritated. The other clients were being helped so little by him that I then gave them advice on which truck size to rent because he was useless in helping anyone. I wanted to be rude and treat him like he treated me but I didn't want him to do anything to charge me for something that wasn't true out of spite.

They gave me the key to the wrong truck, uhaul support overall was very kind but I was upon return charged for gas that I didn't use because they had the mileage and gas level incorrect due to my being given the wrong truck.

Have the equipment ready as expected. Driver had to wait and wasted valuable time because the location did not have the equipment. Preston said they had a truck , but ended up sending us way out of our area to Watterson. This increased my gas and mileage. Not a good experience.

Looks like they are charging me for more miles than i put on vehicle. I drove approximately 72 miles but bank card being charged for 100 miles. At 0,79 a mile it is substantial.

No one ever answered the phone when I called. Left two messages and got no callbacks. Went to the location during posted business hours to drop off the trailer and no one was there - lights off and building all locked up. After a 30-minute wait the lights came on and I guess the guy saw me in the parking lot - he must have been in the building all the time. When he came out he was not friendly, never apologized and wanted me to help him move the trailer by hand. I said I couldn't (bad back) and he grudgingly did it himself. Terrible customer service. I'll carefully avoid this location from now on.

I was charged for safe move coverage ($56) that I never asked for or consented to at the time of rental. This fee is not listed on the reservation receipt/reservation summary. This is a deceptive act and I want the fee refunded immediately. I will file a dispute with my credit card company.

While waiting on the office to open, 15 minutes after it was supposed to be opened, I slipped and fell due to ice going toward the steps. The person/manager/owner? just said he was sorry. He should have been more concerned! When I returned I needed a broom to sweep the truck. No answer at the door; his vehicle was parked in driveway. I was charged for cleaning; it was just a pile of dirt No, I Will Not return or Recommend Others to this UHaul Business. I'm sorry I didn't go to the one I'm most familiar. Joyce Cook

The truck was not in a good shape. The driver's side door did not fully close and it let all the cold air in through gaps. The engine was making a squeaking noise during my entire trip. There was no cruise control. My trip with the truck was a really bad experience.

The lockbox was frozen from the ice. Even though the location was open for business, no one answered the doorbell. I had to go down the street, purchase hot water, then coke back and poor it on the lock box so I could get the key. This cost me extra money and less time with my rental because of extra trip

The location was fine, but it did not align with the hours provided on the Uhaul website. I reserved the vehicle for 7 am and I was not able to pick up the vehicle until 10 am because they didn't open until then. Better communication needs to be provided on how to pick up a key before hours of operation. I lost three hours of work time due to this descrepency.

Make sure the location has all the accessories in stock for customers. I ask for plastic covers and they did not have any.

I also got a cleaning charge that no one mentioned I may receive. I am not sure why. The only dirt was from the mud at the drop off location. I cleaned the inside before returning.

Arrived during posted business hours. Closed sign on door with instructions to ring doorbell and wait for response. No response. Called number posted on door. Went to voicemail. Called # on contract. Went to voicemail. No call back.

There was no help at all when unloading and the location is located on an incline. I shouldn't have had to change locations to a uhaul that had no help simply because my scheduled location did not want a 6x12. The whole drop off experience was horrible.

I returned the truck with the blankets folded as instructed and the fuel had barely moved but I was charged a fee for both. I double checked the trailer before returning the key and the blankets had slid around with the dolly and were near the cab of the truck but we're still folded but the plastic had come off of one. I am not physically able to climb in the truck to move them. I left a message at the office and no one returned my call.

It's insane how supposedly it's 30$ for the day, I used the truck 2 hours and charged me 137$, you guys have to advertise that your gonna charge gas and mileage

I made reservations for an auto transport 4 days in advance at one uhaul rental facility. The next day u haul called and said the trailer would be at another facility on Bardstown road . I drove 7 hours to get to this locstion at the designated time (10:30) and they did not have the trailer. I had to stand in the storeroom for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and finally had to ask the employees ( in an unpleasant manner) if any one of them were working on this issue. Finally they were able to locate a trailer and sent me to a third location to pick it up. The uhaul employee there was nice and even helped me to hook up the trailer. We proceeded to pick up a car and drove 7 hours back to south carolina. Upon arrival there and after unloading the car, we noticed that 3 of the 4 tires on the trailer were bald and had the steel belts showing . Being in the tire manufacturing business myself, I honestly believe that it was by the grace of God that we made it home on these tires!!! So what can make you do to improve?? 1. Do not make reservations and rent equipment that you cannot deliver on time!!! 2. Train the staff at the Bardstown Uhaul location! That place was a circus!! 3. Inspect your equipment as it should be inspected upon return from the last rentor! I feel that our lives and our vehicles were put in jeopardy because a U haul representative could not competently do their job!!!! I have photos of the tires, feel free to contact me if you would like to see them!

Truck cab and bed left cleaner than when we picked it up. This uhaul neighborhood dealer operated by turf runners charged us $25 cleaning fee. I Contacted and spoke with Chris at turf runners. He stated cleaning fee was assessed not because it was dirty but because they didn't like where we parked it??? They were closed during the day time on a Thursday. There was no one to assist and no parking directions. The parking area on a hill side was full of other trucks and we parked it in the gravel area the only safe place to park a 15' truck with car tow. I don't understand how this company can charge a cleaning fee by their admission it wasn't dirty but because apparently we didn't park it where they thought we should park it even though there were no directions or signage??? I would not recommend this drop off location because of limited accessibility and lack of assistance and dishonest billing charges. I will be following up with uhaul and I would suggest uhaul do a site visit for quality control as this was a terrible location and negative experience by turf runners representing uhaul.

Let the customer know if the place they chose for pick up (AND TIME) WON'T be available a LITTLE sooner than the reservation time so they can plan accordingly! Why even bother to let the customer choose the time and place and U-Haul changes it at the last minute. And the dumb broad i talked to on the phone right at 10am gave zero shits and didn't try to console me AT ALL. Garbage. I'm never using U-Haul again. I move around a lot for work and never had this problem before. It's Penske for me.

We had to wait 3 hours to get a truck. First the truck we reserved wasn't available due to someone not dropping it off at the right place. Then they didn't get the key from the last customer. We then got switched to a different location and when we arrived they couldn't check out the truck to us due to system issues. We ended up going back and they had the original truck ready. We reserved for 10am but didn't get a truck till 1pm. Thankfully Chris at Turf Runners was nice and helped us out getting the original truck after our reservation had already been changed.

The steps were very icy to get to the keys and drop. It did not appear that they had salted or tried to clear the area. The location was good and the equipment was fine. The app kept giving me errors. I had to call corporate which they dropped the call after I was on hold for 5 minutes. After 25 min. of trying I finally got the app to work however it would not load the pictures of the mileage and the gas level so I was charged an extra $20. This is not the locations fault, but it was a hassle.

My experience with UHaul was horrible on 1/23. I had a whole day wasted because you changed my rental location 3 times without anyone calling me and I had to reach out. Due to this inconvenience we had to add another day to our move when we needed to be out on 1/25
