I got a call the day after I dropped off my rental from a U-Haul agent wondering when I was going to bring the truck back. I was told, when I made the reservation, that I could drop it off at Twin Maples Storage which was convenient because that's where I am storing my furniture. But there was no mechanism in place to inform anyone that I made the drop off. Apparently no one from Twin Maples was in the next day to take care of the return. It created a panic worrying that I would incur further charges.

SHERRY BEvidently, there were a lot of problems with the U-Haul computer system, as it took 2 hours of giving my info, over and over to finally get to the point were we could set up the rental, and I could drive away with the trailer. I've never had this happen with any rental in all my years of renting cars, trucks, trailers, or tools. Something needs to be done to expedite your system. I don't believe it was the fault of the people I was dealing with, but with your system. Hopefully, this isn't a common occurrence. CHRIS AAs I did a night drop for the truck I was not happy to receive a text the following morning stating that my drop off location, confirmed at my pick-up location, wasn't an option. As I was already half way across the state this was one more unnecessary U-Haul aggravation. Then when arrangements were made to deal with the drop off error, the woman at the site wasn't at all happy, but said she would take care of it because it was in my contract.

CHELLISA SThe vehicle I reserved was not available on either the day or location I requested which created quite a problem for me. It had nothing to do with the pick up location, itself, they were great. I will, however, think twice before using U-haul because of the inconvenience in trying to get the truck. You are not even notified of the problem until a day before your scheduled pick up which leaves you little time to make arrangements.

MATTHEW PThis is my second experience with dealing with a business that rents out uhauls and the first experience was with DiSiena Paint Store in Mechanicville...it was the most horrific experience ever!! I had to move my 2 college kids into their separate apartments and had a reservation with Disiena Paint in Mech. for two weeks. When we showed up to get the u-haul...he wouldn't give it to me for the 2 days I had reserved it for. It was Memorial Day weekend and it was very difficult to find another u-haul dealer at this short notice. I have told everyone one I know about this DiSiena Paint in Mechanicville and how rude and unprofessional they were. NEVER RESERVE A UHAUL FROM DISIENA PAINT STORE IN MECHANICVILLE. We eventually found one on Central Avenue in Albany and they were wonderful. The person I dealt with at this location in Utica was very professional, and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone. They were excellent to deal with.
