I was not verbally told that when I returned the truck , that I needed photos of the mileage and gas gauge. The interior also needed a photo. I do not want to be hit with a $20.00 conveince fee. The truck was great. I just wish I had an explanation of the return policy

After booking the Truck, it was supposedly not available because prior renter was in an accident and the truck was undrivable. Just to find out later that was a lie and that the truck just had mechanical issues. We got a smaller truck instead. Because of this, they told us that our mileage charge would be cheaper. It was not. U-haul needs to get their lies straight before they tell them to the customer

The online approval and review process was far too slow. It took nearly 30 minutes to complete, most of which was spent on a holding screen waiting for someone to review my info on the other end. When rental is charged hourly, 20-30 minutes for review is unacceptable. Further, when people rent a Uhaul they are often soliciting paid movers or volunteers for help. In either situation, keeping those people waiting is less than ideal. Finally, the reservation indicated the online system MUST be used for truck pickup, so it was assumed the keys would be in a lock box. After waiting on my phone for 30 minutes, it was awfully frustrating to then be told to retrieve keys from a desk attendant at the storage facility.....who told me I could have avoided using the online system altogether by just coming directly to the desk. If our reservation had simply made mention of being able to checkout at the desk instead of using the online checkout all frustration could have been avoided. Thankfully the truck was clean and ready for pickup.

Make sure the fracking truck doesn't have a blown engine. How can anyone miss that? You'd have to be a sneak or an idiot. Those are the only two choices, pick one.

The van I received was terribly leaky. All of my items were soaking wet with the rain that occurred today. I do not recommend this rental at all.

The location was great. They were very accommodating when the Uhaul services didn’t work and/or were terrible. Uhaul doesn’t tell you the truck doesn’t come with a ramp so I had to rent a ramp from another company. Additionally, the Uhaul Truck Share 24/7 application (like a self check in) doesn’t work. I waited for SO LONG before giving up and going inside to speak to a human. 100% do not recommend the truck share application. There also is no option for the ipass. The driver’s area is way too small and actually unsafe for tall people to drive because the leg room is nonexistent.

It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end - from making the reservation to picking up the equipment to dropping off. This was an in town downsizing move that had been over a month long. My husband and I were both exhausted and worn out. U-haul made it so easy for us during this exhaustive experience. Every person we worked with was cheerful and pleasant. It really made a huge impact on our day and experience. Thank you for having such an amazing crew...gratefully, The Smith’s.

Need to do the online rental approval process much faster. I was waiting for an approval for at least 10 minutes then decided to go into the I store it location and speak to the customer reps inside. They quickly processed my reservation and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. Not sure how long I would have continued to wait to get the online approval.
