Uhaul storage in Honolulu is an excellent business. The staff have been very helpful and flexible while I was trying to decide next steps with my stuff.
STEPHEN CMaking it easier to access the storage boxes when needed would be ideal any this improved with new manager. Great for long term storage needs.

Knives WTo ensure the bolts are removed before handling over to client, not everyone has a tool kits. I did but one bolt was stripped. Overall very happy. Thank you.

MARYELLEN FLocation is a bit confusing, and for an unmanned location there should be better signage/explanation. For instance, a note stating that if you are here to pick up a truck, please do x.
James HTerrible experience. Not safe. Inconvenient. Arrived to pickup and took an hour to get in a locked door to obtain the key after calling a rep and the size truck I reserved was blocked in and needed to drive a bigger truck. Arrived for return and could not get in touch with anyone to Open the door to return the key. Had to return the next day which I was trying to prevent due to a busy schedule. Absolutely terrible!!!
Charlotte NAsk if pads are needed, they take up too much room. I could have fit more in my container, and still been under weight limit.

pual bThe fuel was not full, there was bird crap on the hood, the mirrors were not clean, They were very spotty, and they were foot prints on the passenger side glove box. in addition, the back appeared very sticky in spots. pick up and re turning was good. personnel There were very friendly and helpful.

Greg KOverall, I was happy with the service. However, once my box was in transit, I was told that they would not be able to deliver to my house, because they said the street was too narrow for their truck, and that I would have to hire somebody else to do that. While it was easy through u-haul to find that moving help, it still felt like I was being scammed, because I believed that once I had engaged u-haul's services that everything was set. If they had checked up front if delivery was possible, and informed me prior to me accepting the service that there would be an extra charge, that would have been ok, but as it was, I had to spend an extra $400.
Gavin SEveryone I spoke with was very friendly and responsive. The entire process was very smooth and easy.
Andrew SBe careful who recommend for movers and contractors to deliver the uboxes. They over charged and rushed the job. Nicked the base boards and misled me to believe they were full service movers.

joseph CThe Manager Darlene ( if that is actually her name)cut my rental short because she double booked the trailer. She insisted on picking up my Ubox, even though I still had over a week on my rental, so she could have the trailer. I asked to extend for another month and she refused stating she had other customers and they would be picking up the box the next day and storing my things. After our conversation she thought she had hung up the phone but she hadn't and she began talking about about me and making rude comments to which the office staff were all laughing. When I said I can still hear you she slammed the phone and hung it up. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and she refused stating she was the manager. When I did have my furniture return it was damaged. the armoire had fallen over in the box and the leg of the sofa went through the door. Also, I had a vintage Chinese nesting table that was completely broken apart. I contacted Uhaul on March 16th and was told someone would contact me the next day regarding my damaged furniture . No one has called yet. Of course none of this would have happened if Darlene hadn't over booked the trailer and forced me to have the box picked up. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I will say the driver Felicia was quite nice and helpful.

Kristen NI was lied to about arrival time of ubox. It took a week to be delivered and was told it needed to be emptied within 3 days because it was needed, in spite of my having to pay rent for storage.
Norine TGoods are not expected to arrive in San Diego until September 2021. We did not require furniture pads. Felicia of the Honolulu office provided exceptionally good and courteous service. Many thanks! Suzy of Bruno's Moving in Honolulu (MovingHelpers) also provided wonderful service, helping us to meet a very tight deadline. Again, many thanks!

Brent TContact with the local store was difficult at first and quite frequently there was nobody at the front desk. It didn't bother me but, might make theft an issue? I think the added staff corrected the problem? Might be a good idea to have phones forwarded to cell phones?
