Staff at my location very unhelpful, I knowledgeable SEVERAL times. I smelled a very strong odor of marijuana on Saturday. Even though the door sign listed the store hours, the door would be locked. I will never use U-haul again. Very very disappointing

First- there was NOT A SOUL AROUND to assist you even though the hours on door indicated they were open at 8 am. Second - the self check in process is ridiculous- I have used a U-Haul self service before and this was overwhelming. Lastly, the front drivers side tire was so bald there was ZERO tred- I took a photo. I returned the truck an hour later because there would have been NO way to safely haul a load. I paid for a truck I couldn't even use- and who do you tell- obviously no one because THERE IS NOBODY THERE WORKING. I would not recommend this location at all.

The unit was abysmal - mold/mildew permeates the air, there were two rat traps in the unit, and the door was barely more secure than a pantry door in a residential home. This facility should be permanently closed. The staff person I reported this to sounded amused with my level of concern about the unit.

The lights unit do not work. I noticed that when I was moving in and had to work from a flashlight. There is no outlet to plug in a drop light so I'm pretty much working in the dark. The manager says someone works those problems but I didn't get a specific time or appointment to make the unit available to get the lights fixed.

We arrived at 4 and office was locked and no note and no one returned to help Unit is difficult to find and locate in the bldg. I understood it was on main level but it's on second floor and stairs to move furniture.. We have moved in and simply need assistance during business hours. Had to use our own lock since no one was at office. Please do not remove our lock to ensure we have access. Place is clean

Bob was awesome & super helpful getting me setup so I could unload my U-Haul quickly. I really appreciate him. As far as the place itself, it's alright. I wish there was more access so I didn't have to carry my stuff so far to get to my unit & an elevator would be helpful for sure.

Office Hours as displayed on website as well as at the location are misleading and wrong. Staff of the only available UHaul office on a Saturday in Gainesville, FL was not helpful at all. Facilities are in disrepair and seam abandoned.No furniture dolly or cart was available at the storage location and local staff was not willing to help. Will advise all friends and acquaintances to stay away from UHaul storage!

Definitely sucks when the power goes out, and the time slots you have to enter the storage unit is inconvenient since it's supposed to be 24/7 enter. Also no dolly inside usually so have to bring your own if your carrying anything

Facility was filled with bugs on the floor and wasps. In addition got locked out of the whole building with no notification. Came to get my stuff to move across the country to find out they won't be out till the next day to fix it. The young man working at the main facility center was of no help by stating there's no managers available today youll wait till tomorrow. We explain the situation and told him we need it today and he said too bad. Finally after a family got mean with him the manager picked up a phone and said someone would be out in 30 mins. All in all we waited an hour and a half to get my items that were in a 24/7 storage facility. All to find out there were no carts inside as advertised and had to move everything by hand through the halls.

I was so upset about everything to do with this place i actually sat down and cried. I didn't use the unit and instead got a storage unit elsewhere. I called customer service and the guy i talked to was super nice and understanding of my issues with the place and they ended up giving me a refund.

Staff is friendly and great. The rating is because no push carts are at that location do to people stealing them. It made moving way more challenging. The ramps made it challenging to my back, but once again, great price, nearby to home and the guy working there is very helpful.

Provide moving carts because being disabled going up all the ramps I had to go down and long hallways made it difficult. It took a lot of time. Also, if someone would sweep the hallways it would be more attractive. There were dead bugs everywhere.

When we picked up our stuff one of our items was damaged and it was our mattress. It must have rained in the unit because it was stained on the bottom. I didn't say anything bc I was not keeping it. I gave it away bc the place my friend was going to it would not fit in her new place. It was a fairly new mattress when I put it in the storage unit but when it was taken out it was water stains all on the bottom of the.mattress. it was unit 14 on Williston road in Gainesville Florida if any one is interested.

Truck wasn't ready or at least we weren't informed the location which was NOT the location we wanted was unmanned and so had to do remote check in 20 minutes from our chosen location and then charged the mileage to and from there. Not fair. Then we had to go to another location to pickup the appliance dolly we ordered. The whole experience was the worst ever and we have used uhaul many time in the past few years. We didn't get any credit for any of your mistakes and will not use or recommend your services. We got started an hour late due to your inadequacies.

Considering that it took me 2 hours to get my truck because it showed I had a previous balance which I did not which left me behind in my move when I had to meet some one at that location to receive my furniture lucky he was patient and stayed so there fore I had limited time to move and the help I had could not wait so I had to unload truck myself I'm 61 yrs old was not very pleasant This will be the last time I ever use uhaul and I still have a storage unit in Baltimore that I will be moving it looks like I will be using Penske they are cheaper and have much better customer service. It was not the locations fault so don't hold them accountable it's your corporate office for not updating their records and for it to take two hours to resolve whole I had my 90 yr old mother sitting waiting in car for that home I was not happy. Sincerely a former lifetime customer!

The 24/7 truck share process is way too time consuming. I had prefilled all my information allowed prior to p/u to speed up process, but way too many sensitive steps to complete at this location. It's was over 1hr to get this completed with chat assistant &was also too much questions and redo of info already done prior to p/u.

Dear uhal, previous person that used my truck transported animals. The truck was clean, but it was smelling terrible. After used your truck, all my items were smelling disgusting. This is make my experience poor and I had to pay the full value for a truck in a bad condiction ($70).

After completing the return of the truck online via my phone there was a request to pay for extra charges that WERE NOT told to me when I paid for a flat rate, one-way service. Then, I had to dispute the charge which was incorrect! This seemed very unprofessional.

The employee was friendly but the internet was painfully slow and the climate controlled unit I selected was not actually available and I got stuck having to put it in no. Climate controlled and there was no light and the facility was not really clean. I would have gone elsewhere had I not had to return the uhaul and was exhausted from the trip. Nate and switch situation and the monthly rate wasn't even less. Not happy

Due to a glitch in the check-in system, when I scanned in my driver's license the system would not take it. We spent from 3 pm to 7:30 pm sitting at the (unstaffed) facility. We were on the phone with customer service all that time. Twice customer service hung up on us. We talked to higher and higher levels of supervisors, until finally someone was able to override the system and get us in at 7:30 pm. Then there was no lock in the unit, so we had to go get one at another facility before it closed at 8. As a result of these delays, we were unable to leave as planned Friday afternoon, and had to spend the night in Gainesville. I will be requesting reimbursement for hotel and meals, plus list wages on Saturday. This was a horrible frustrating experience on many levels for many reasons. I will not be a returning customer.

The day I booked our unit, I went to check in at the location and no one was there. I called and was told, for the first time, that it was a satellite location that no one worked at and I needed to go across town to check in. Then, the next day when we were going to move in we were told it had not been cleaned out yet and it was not ready. They had no units of the same size or larger, so we coordinated two smaller units but never received email confirmation. I then realized they had selected two second floor units, which was not feasible for us (we booked a first floor unit initially). I had to go back to the main check-in location and they had to call someone in to help me because no one had access to the system and the person working at the time didn't take any of it seriously - he actually laughed at my issue. Thankfully, the person who could actually help me told me, after I complained, that surprise! The original unit had just been cleaned out and ready. So I load up my truck and head down there, and the code to get in doesn't work. I call back and fixing the code will take 15-20 minutes, which was incredibly inconvenient because I was already in a time crunch due to the unit swapping. Called back and was put on hold for another 10 minutes while they got us a temporary code - a code that only worked on one door, and not the door closest to our unit. We finally get inside, and the entire place looks half finished. Bare studs and busted dry wall, poorly covered holes, and no lock in the unit even though one was promised to us. There was no ramp to get inside the building, there were at least one or two steps everywhere, and we killed a number of large roaches in our unit as we loaded in. This was a awful, frustrating, nightmarish experience and I wish I had another choice for storage because this is the worst. 0 stars.

I was paid up for a month, lock was put on my unit. Made it difficult to get back into unit. People in office, not helpful. 2 days to get lock off during my. Trailer rental told be here at 7am in and out .i was told pull in front of unit ,they will right back to check me out,after 20minutes went inside to find i was 12th in line he told me to wait my turn.i did not leave with Trailer until 11am bull---- I will not rent from this location ever again.

No one prepared the uhaul prior to us arriving. As it is a mobile only location, when we arrived and tried to check-in, we received the message that the location does not open until 9:30AM (it was 10:30AM) and could not proceed any further. We called the Uhaul number as this was not a manned location and waited on hold for 20+ minutes to be connected with someone. They gave us a larger sized vehicle which we did not want. Then our rental time wasn't even extended despite having a 40 minute set back that was not our fault.

The facility itself is a dump and falling apart. Tech rarely works, half the lights don't work either, even when the motion sensors have activated. There were multiple occasions where we were unable to access our unit due to technical issues with the outer door locks, and the office manager was NEVER there, and if he was, he was less than helpful (Idk maybe it's the rain lol, not my problem"). Office was pretty much always locked with lights off. Super unhelpful, very rude. The manager at this location also called me THE DAY BEFORE MY MOVE, a whole month or more since I made my reservation, to tell me my truck rental was canceled/lost and that it "wasn't their problem" and I "shouldn't have been able to rent a truck for an extended period" even though their website allows it. The organization and communication between stores is absolutely pitiful, and caused me to have to drive back and forth between locations multiple times in one day, both because keys and files were missing from the storage location, and because the office manager of the storage location was nowhere to be found. Absolutely unacceptable. Horrible service. You've lost a long time customer.

Average facility. Floors and ceiling dirty. Never any furniture dolly's available. No lights in the unit, some bugs present. Used as last minute option, would only recommend as a last minute. Couldn't even access my stuff past 10 without going through hoops or trying to track down the attendant who wasn't around often. Smelled weird.

The storage facility is dark, falling apart, there was a rat trap inside my unit, and the "air conditioning" is just as hot as the rest of the place. The pictures are a complete lie. The office also never picks up the phone.

Have been locked inside of this property multiple times. Some were gate issues and could not get out nor look for a worker, had to sit on hold because no direct line to this property. Upon move out, asked to leave access card in unit but would have locked me inside the property again since I need access card to leave property. Terrible idea not to have a direct line to this facility with a worker at all times.

The truck leaked and ruined several hundred dollars in books. Our storage unit was locked and we could not access it when we went to move in. We were moved to another unit which was not air conditioned. We ended up getting charged for a larger unit than we needed for 3 months because that was all that was available when we couldn't get into the original one but. It was a struggle to even find a storage unit. We had to buy one that was 2x or 3x larger than we needed. When we first arrived to the unit, the entrance gate was open and out of service. The facility wasn't secure, but our unit had a lock on it. We went to the office during office hours and no one was there. It looked completely abandoned. We called with no response. We had to wait until the next day to access our storage unit. We had to call a different location to figure out how to get into our locker. Luckily, we were using our own trailer and not a rental. We would have had to pay for another day of rental fees because Uhaul screwed us by renting a unit we couldn't access and weren't in office or reachable during advertised hours. We never got a response from the storage unit managers. They were never in office during hours and never answered calls. Our entire experience with Uhaul was a fight and struggle to find information and fix the issues caused by Uhaul associates. When we tried to cancel our storage unit rental, no one at the desk knew how to do it. They took my info and said the manager would cancel it for us. It did not get canceled and I was charged for another month. I made FOUR calls before it was fixed.

Through guest feedback, I believe all businesses can improve revenue and guest satisfaction. So, here is an opportunity for you to learn and don't worry, I am not going to blast Social Media like our young adults do. Positive: I was not expecting 1 month free rental. Due to various things, I could not load my items in Sarasota so you were kind to reschedule storage for next day. Location was convenient and away from congestion that GNV faces daily. Negative: There was no one to answer my 2 calls on original scheduled reservation between 1p & 4p. Goal was to notify and move the move-in date 24 hrs later. When I got to GNV around 5,3p, office was closed but I was given an access code so was able to get in however, I did not know where unit 210. Laborer waited 30 minutes while I tried to solve the problem. Call to corporate directed me to N. Main St location so went over there to unload. I was turned back and told there were no storage unit at that location so had to come back to 4101 SW 13th. I had to call corporate and bounced between different department to finally obtain a map of units. At this moment, it's been an hour and clock is ticking on 2 hr reservation I made for Movers. I was told that Lock will be inside the unit but it wasn't there so had to run to nearest store to buy one. Unfinished walls, no lights working inside storage unit, unclean unit and I found black togo box for food inside which may be left several days ago and leftovers were rotting. After long day, I was tired to make another call so unloaded my materials and left. Movers went into overtime by 23 minutes. Now, only thing I am requesting is an additional month complimentary and we'll call it even. Contact me at 850-766-5808 if you have any questions. Terrible experience (and I'm a long-time Uhaul customer)!!! Did the remote/phone pick-up for the first time. The first truck offered wasn't even on the lot. Found the second and did the whole process until the code for the key lock was provided, but it wouldn't open! A Uhaul representative came out and couldn't get the key out saying the box was broken. She gave keys for yet another truck! But now it was showing that I had 2 trucks. She tried helping me by calling her managers, but the whole process ended up taking approximately 1 and a half hours and my wife and 2-year-old daughter were outside waiting the entire time! And we were late to empty out our storage unit. At the end I still had 2 trucks appearing on my Uhaul account. The ENTIRE pickup was a total mess and I'm completely dissatisfied with the outcome. Also the truck was very dirty outside and with some sand in the cabin. Terrible experience!!!!

At the time of move in it would have been a lot helpful if a staff member was the storage location because my family and I struggled getting this in because we thought there was only one way. But I am not blaming that on the staff. It was funny nonetheless.

I got to the pick up location and the office was closed. Sign on the door said to go to a different location. So I drove to the other location to get the keys and they did not have them. Then I was told to drive back to the original location to get my keys that someone would be there. Wasted 45 min of my day and 25 min of driving to different locations just to get keys.

Had to wait awkwardly for 15 mins for the rep to get put of the bathroom (other guy didn't know anything about storage units). My reservation for a unit was canceled without notice. I went to 2 different sites to find it and called 4 people until I was finally told it was canceled. Had to rent a unit 3x as big for $100 more because it was all that was left. Got to unit during office hours to find it locked and noone in the office to assist. Had to call 2 people to find out the guy wasn't available and we would have to drive back the next day. No one told us this and we wasted hours during this entire ordeal. The security gate to the storage units is also broken and wide open. So anyone who can wander in break into units. I never want to deal with Uhaul again. Everything about it was frustrating. Storage, picking up truck and trailer, and dropping off too. HUGE waste of time running to different locations because no one was communicating.

the facility doors did not lock and the tops of the units were made out of chicken wire. cindy and her staff don’t pay very much attention to who has moved in and out of units which doesn’t count much towards security. it’s very hot in the “climate controlled” units and a lot of my stuff mildewed from the temperature. i didn’t pay for the unit because i qualified for a free month but i would never ever spend my money here or recommend to anyone else. the unit is also extremely far out in the middle of nowhere with minimal security measures - 2/10 only use if desperate

I have one phone number, as do most people. Requiring an "alternate phone number" is anachronistic. Further more, I live alone. Requiring me to provide personal information about someone else is not necessary and invasive. Also, on the website it was not indicated that the storage facility is five miles away from the facility where I made the reservation. Very inconvenient. Also, the door at the site remains open for 5 seconds, maybe less, which means that when I get the items I am storing I have to gather them from the truck then free up a hand to swipe the access pad, place an item in the doorway while I gather up the items I put down. You could at least give me two minutes! None of this was convenient at all. Matter of fact it was a very frustrating end to a long and difficult moving day.

Garien Banks works at the Uhaul on main st and he was super helpful and very nice he personally gave me a call to tell me that my storage unit was looked at and cleaned. Overall great worker and made my moving process way easier. Definitely deserves a raise or a promotion or something. The uhaul was understaffed and still received great service.

People that worked there were as helpful as possible, but experience with U-Haul as a company is one of the worst ever. Had problems with auto billing, which caused late fees and a lock placed on my unit. I had to write a check for 2,5 months payment before it was actually due (yet somehow worked when I showed up a few days ago?!). I still got failure to pay notices. Called your 800# and was hold 4 times for 30+ minutes, but gave up before actually talked to someone who could help. Please double check that my contract was canceled. Hopefully, you fix your issues.

We were supposed to have an air conditioned unit and had a reservation. Upon arriving we were told they had no more air conditionef units and they gave us an inner unit that was not climate controlled. It was a pain in the neck to move into because we had to go down a flight of steps which meant we had to load up the carts, unload them and reload them at the bottom of the steps. The actual unit itself was disgusting in my opinion. It had no light and it was very difficult to see. The ceiling tiles were missing in several spots and the ceiling looked like it was about to cave-in. We only needed storage for three weeks and at that point, we really didn't have much choice and had to keep everything here temporarily. The outer door to get into the unit was not locked. When moving in, they told us there was a lightning strike and that the door was broken. Three weeks later when we arrived to move everything out it still had apparently not been fixed. This facility looks like it was built in the 1970's and has not been updated or maintained. I would not recommend this facility.

Do not reserve with the location on 13th St. no one works there, and when I showed up at my reservation time my truck wasn't there either. A paper sign on the door sent me to another location where I waited for over an hour in line because only one employee knew how to use the computer and even then he kept walking away. If you're working with a deadline make sure you get there at least an hour early. They also took an hour off of my allotted reservation time because I was late to getting it. Which again is because the truck wasn't there and I had to wait in a line. These people are completely incompetent and have the nerve to complain to customers about other impatient customers. Super unprofessional outfit altogether. Would not recommend. Just spend the extra money and have someone else move your stuff.

Place dirty and looks like it's falling apart. I was told a climate control but then was told it was only no climate. Has to go to a separate place to sign and guy was very slow and nonchalant. I am quite disappointed with the 4101 SW 13th St facility. In my section, none of the walls are painted (bare drywall and mud), and all the unit doors are unpainted masonite board, and the door latches are held by a few bolts on the outside of the units which are very unsecure since the bolts can easily be removed. Also, I paid for climate control but it is is not climate controlled below 80 degrees & no detectible air flowing. The CSR at the NW 8th Ave. who assisted me was courteous and helpful but I would not say he was friendly.

The people were extremely friendly especially Celsea the attendant at the storage area and the tall gentleman who helped with unloading of trailer. I was given weak directions to the storage and they said Williston road NOT ROUTE 331 which is the way it was clearly marked. I could not find a sign saying Williston road and a local person could not either. So I was unable to move my stuff into storage so I had to stay in Gainesville over night ,

This comment is for the 24-7 truck share tool. My reservation was for 12pm but somehow was recorded for 11am. When I showed up at 12:10pm I could not pickup my truck…the app removes the ability to pick it up after a certain period of time (1 hour?) I wasted 25 minutes attempting to log into app over and over again, the calling the local dealer and after a long hold just being transferred to a National person who could actually help me. She had to reset my reservation. Kudos to LaToya, but thumbs down to the software used for 24/7 truck share and to the local dealer who isn't of much use in pinch.

The storage space I rented was a 10x30x9 but when I got there they did not have that storage. I had to rent two 10x12x9. Now I'm paying more and don't have enough space. I'm going to have to rent a third storage. I'm not happy and will be calling corporate. I also wanted a unit that was outside so I could just pull up to it. The ones I got are inside and the building smells like pee and stinks really bad. The rent is expensive for what you get. I'm not worried that all my belongings are going to absorb the smell. This is the worst experience. Unfortunately what choice do I have. I am moving 1700 miles across the country and have to store my belongings until my house is ready. I would never recommend Uhaul storage to anyone.

First off, there were 0 employees at this location. This review is unrelated to the quality of Uhaul employees' work. Terrible service for a terrible price. For future customers, know that Uhaul will keep you waiting for no reason at all, and there will be no recourse for whether or not uhaul allows you to use the rental you've paid for. Reserve for a long period of time since Uhaul will eat up at least 1 hour of your reservation just in checking out and returning the equipment.

The mobile pickup and drop-off process was a complete failure. There were website issues uploading required photos, and was one of the most frustrating experiences only saved by your customer service representative, Jessica Angle, who was professional and compassionate. She was the only saving grace in the process. Overall, this mobile process should either be significantly modified or abandoned altogether, as it is currently the single best advertisement for Penske.

I was closing my unit, at a location that was not open, and when I went to Main St location they said someone had to look at unit, yet no one could do it on Saturday.. So I gave them my key, and had to go home and close it out on the internet, So I was not happy that I had to drive to other location, and then they did not even close my unit. Not happy

Nobody there to help; truck would not start--finally got somebody to drop off a truck; nobody to help when app didn't work to check-in; spent over an hour on hold with various U-Haul numbers to get help---huge waste of time to use the 24/7 option. However, once I got through to a person they were courteous and did finally resolve the problem. But, again, there shouldn't have been the problems to start with or ridiculous hold times. Frankly, you should give me my money back.

Cindy Proto was amazing! Compassionate, kind and eager to help. I thought I was talking to a friend, my husband is in ICU on a respirator due to this Covid 19 and I had to move all by myself. The anxiety unreal, but Cindy soothing words put my troubled mind at ease. Had it not been for her, I would of had to dropped off the truck on another location irregardless that i had committed to a 10x30 rental and condensed my life down to a two bedroom apt. We are people in need of service for we have lost our homes, lost our jobs, life has brought us to your doorstep and for some, our life in condensed to a 10x10, 10x12 storage space. Be aware of this when you are talking to us but most of all have a little compassion, you service the public! The other UHAUL Reps I spoke to yesterday April17,2021 before I spoke to Cindy were men, one left me holding for ten minutes after he said he couldn't do anything even though I had explained my situation and decided to rent a uhaul storage for the convince of being able to drop off the truck at the same location, he placed me on hold and didn't come back, so the call rang to Cindy. I suggest you clone Cindy and see how you will become the neighborhood go to place for moving/storage and truck rental.

The only thing about this whole " moving" process/experience that didn't totally suck and a total nightmare was my experience with uhaul storage in Gainesville Fl. No one bugged us as we worked our butts off in the coldest two days of the year since 1996? Which btw we worked through the night only stopping a few hours each night to crash . When we received the truck it was dead. We didn't finish the check in because we couldn't confirm mileage or gas. But the app proceeded to accept the truck anyways without us clicking anything. We had to wait an hour and a half to get roadside assistance out there to start the truck. The employee who set up the truck, had left the keys in the ignition on acc. Thats why the truck was dead.

There needs to be a more secure way of locking the inside storage units as anyone who has access to the inside units can easily use a Phillips screwdriver and easily remove any style lock that is used to lock your unit. Also cracks in the flooring in units & also in one of my units, I rented 2 units you could easily see space into the the unit on the other side along the vertical wall. The employee, Michael was very professional & helpful & very efficient & kind. Kudos  & 5 stars to Michael ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ He deserves a raise.

The mobile check-in was a hassle. Too many steps to rent the van and do I get mobile made it more complicated. It took almost an hour to even rent the van once we got to the location. I do not recommend mobile pick up in the future.

When checking in to our storage unit we were told it would be unlocked and a lock would be provided inside the unit. After arriving we saw there was a lock on the door. We attempted to call the office on Main Street where we picked up our access card but never got an answer. We had to drive back to that address to tell them the unit was locked and then had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to come and unlock it. The unit was dirty and there was easy access to the neighboring unit into our unit. Upon clearing our items out and returning our access card we were told someone would check the unit. We later received an email stating we were going to be charged for the free month of storage. We called and were never able to speak with anyone locally so I had to take time during my lunch hour to go by there. 3 employees were there and were rude and unprofessional but provided us with a zero balance owed receipt.

We rented one of your 20' trucks to move out. It was a great truck and the ramp was perfect Julie was pleasant and efficient. However there was one problem. We only drove 5 miles and put in $5 of gas at the end. But we were still charged $4,9 for a 1/4 tank of gas. We were told at checkout by Julie that the truck was not full. We returned it at the same level. She says it was an automatic charge. I strongly feel this should be removed from our bill. The number access system is a little confusing too. I went to the bathroom, went into the secure area, and tried to open the storage door. It showed me as checked out. So I had to drive to the front again and re-enter the numbers. That seems a little confusing. Please respond about this bill to cindylynn13@yahoo.com. Also there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the bathroom when I was there Sunday morning. Electric gate broke so did not have direct access to my unit. Had to walk through front glass doors, out side door and back in side door to access my unit. Office is only open 4 days a week. Tried to cancel unit three times via phone because office was not open. Finally was successful after third time talking to someone on national not local number and went by location to confirm it was closed. Never got a confirmation email that storage unit had been closed out and next months charges rremoved.

The U-Haul representative who checked us in was extremely helpful. She asked us questions about our move to make sure all of our needs would be met and we would have a smooth move. And we did!

The office was closing early without warning so Luckily I had gotten there right at 3:45....when they should have closed at 5:00. Then my unit was double booked so I was given a unit on the 2nd floor instead of the first. Then the key card didn't work. Then the second key card didn't work. Now no key cards work. Then we come back at 9:00 to do another load. The gait is stuck and we can't get in. Another car is stuck on the inside. I sit on hold for 22 min to get customer service. Then I have to wait another 20 min for the assistant manager to come fix the gait. I then have 13 min to unload everything before we get locked in. The absolute worst experience I have ever had with renting anything. I will be requesting money back tomorrow.

Office hours are limited. Closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and weekends. Building is old and roof is leaking in spots. Water on floor in hallways. Online there were more units available but when I went in person there were only two larger units available.

Only issue I had is complete disconnect from what 1-800 uhaul says about the storage facility on SW13th st and reality. That was frustrating in the beginning until we learned that there basically is no office there. Even as of yesterday, the day I turned in my spot after renting for several months, 1-800 uhaul said an office was open on site till 7pm. In actuality, there was no office open at 3pm when I tried. Facility and everything else was great. Card entry very convenient. Would rent again.
