This was the biggest piece of junk I have ever moved in. The air conditioner would not work, and lights were on all over the dashboard. It sounded like it was falling apart, and we were not sure if we would even get to finish our load or not. Needs to be taken off of the lot and never used again. !!!!!!!!!!!

Reserved truck and appliance dolly online several says in advance. to move refrigerator, freezer and large dresser. Was told the day of pickup that no appliance dollies were available. Other arrangements could have been made had we known at time of reservation that no appliance dolly was available. Bait and switch.

I'm was told to park in customer parking, which is far away from the front lot, where my rental truck was parked. I am handicapped but did not tell your agent that I was, my mistake. But, then your agent came out, telling me that I had parked in the wrong spot, which was right near where I had parked, just on the other row facing the building; not facing the fence. I had to get the truck from the front; where I was closest to at this point and drove it around to move my car. This location has limited space to turn around in and NO SIGNAGE showing where customers are supposed to park our cars while renting your equipment. Now, to address the vehicle. There was no clear way to show fuel level even though it had a gauge, it wasn't working, so I eyeballed the old fashioned gauge when filling back up. I was alone and had to struggle to take the sunshade down out out of the big truck's windshield It was difficult for me to take it down out of the passenger side of the truck and then to fold it up. I would say, on positive note, Clear signage for Customer Parking and ask if Customer is Handicapped for additional assistance in getting from Customer Parking to their rental, especially if they are alone. And, when dealing with Customers with small children, that might be alone, too. It's a hike from parking to the front lot! That's what you could improve on for the next customer -

Le service à la clientèle était génial. I only dinged a star because someone had left a case full of firearm ammunition in the trailer when we picked it up. I was ok with the free ammo, but that's a pretty serious item to leave unattended. Check in process should be more thorough. The case could easily have had a gun in it which would be a huge blunder to miss.

Had a wonderful experience renting from this location. We needed a larger truck than the original reservation and they helped make the change as quickly and easily as possible. Very professional and friendly to work with! If we weren't moving out of state we would definitely use them again!

Manager Aretha, customer care agent Tempist and one other customer care agent whom I wasn't able to see in person to catch their name but temptist will know who I'm thinking of. I appreciate you all! I have RENTED from Uhaul multiple times in the last few years at hundreds of dollars using a major credit card. Every time I go on there THEY TREAT ME like a criminal. The attitudes, the questions, the service. If there another place, I would use them. I have posted comments before and nothing SO I don't expect things to improve now, either. This is the worst business, I deal with in my life, only because there is no other rental.

When I arrived at my destination, I found that several of my items were wet. It seems the roof of the truck was leaking water. Mu futon mattress was wet and several of my boxes were wet.

While the young lady that took care of the paperwork was nice and all, the other people there had an air of laziness and a bit of an attitude. When I asked for assistance in just making sure I had my vehicle loaded correctly on the trailer, the answer from one of the people there was "you dint pay fo dat" then when I was loading the trailer, I am really glad I did it myself since I don't think they could have loaded it and tied it down correctly anyway. BUT, this was a one-time deal. I hope to never return to Memphis for any reason whatsoever, much less have to deal with this uhaul location.

Customer Service was horrible at the front desk. Made appt at 430 for 1999 truck. I get to counter they dont have truck n didnt want to put me in a bigger one for the same price. Let them know the true price before they get there!! They jacked my price up over 50$ and were refusing to let me get the Truck because I didn't have a passport,a lease agreement 臘‍♀️臘‍♀️ I'm moving most people don't carry these things around the other thing they asked for was a gun permit. Really? I called 3 times about my reservation and asked all three times will there be any other charges? They all said no. I get there they claimed it was the insurance. No I added the insurance in the reservation it was a nightmare from the time I got there

I had reserved a furniture dolly a month before. This location did not have a dolly and did not preview my reservation to make sure all equipment was ready for me. In addition, passenger side mirror constantly shifted while driving.

The young lady who helped me (I regretfully do not remember her name) but she was AWESOME! She was personable, friendly, very effecient, I was being a little goofy and funny (she probably thought Inwas ignorant....lol) but she laughed at everything I said, she was awesome! Got it all done quickly and with a smile on her face. She actually made me look forward to the next time I may need to rent a Uhaul. Job well done! (1 possible improvement) Make the trucks where they don't automatically START with the "tow-haul" mode on, where you have to turn it off manually everytime. So many things to think about....driving a big different truck that you're now responsible for, don't need to be worried about an electronic setting that could possible damage the motor or transmission. Other than that, A+

The truck cabin could have been cleaner. Most of the surfaces were clean, but there was trash underneath the seats, the floor mats were sticky, and the cupholders appeared to have been missed by whomever cleaned the vehicle. There was a noticeable amount of detergent on the floors of the storage space, making the floors extremely slick/slippery. Some of it ended up on our belongings, but nothing was ruined because of it. We mopped up the excess detergent ourselves.The vehicle performed well for the duration of the trip.

Reserved a truck and dolly online. Upon arrival I was told no dolly was available. Explained that i made a reservation and was told its a first come first serve policy. What then, is the point of reservations? Asked if the associate could see if any stores between there and my destination had a dolly I could pick up, was handed a 1-800 number and told I could call around to find out. Zero concern for the extremely inconvenient situation U Haul had left me in. Associate wasn't rude, just completely apathetic. The whole experience turned a planned out easy chore into a rushed and inconvenient headache.

There was debris in the bed of the utility trailer I rented, but because it was an open trailer, I didn't especially care. It was functional and sturdy.

They mis labeled the fuel tank at half on the contract (which was lower). I drove the truck just for 10 miles and they charged me for 3 or 4 gallons to compensate their lack of service and attention. Whether you need to fill the tank or take the customer claim that this truck doesn't burn 3 gallons for just 10 miles. The lady didn't even bother to come with me to show the truck and explain about the damages or fuel tank level or giving the truck key. I needed to go back to the store to get the key!!! Any rental car/truck would walk with you to the car/truck and explain. Very dissatisfied!

I had reserved a dolly with my reservation and they were out of them when I got there. I was told it was "first come first serve." Then why did I reserve and pay for one? Very rude staff. Overall terrible experience. I really hurt my back by carrying boxes as a result of not having a dolly.

Our confirmation, receipt no. 242124, for the Austin Peay location was not honored. This was very frustrating with movers about to deliver and no place to store . The Summer location was located through your reservations as I'm driving to find somewhere quickly.

Was a really nice space, COOLand clean, which was what I wanted. Staff were helpful. The only complaint I have is the garage doors only worked one time, and the card readers are really hard to use and VERY confusing (have to swipe twice and often didn't work). Check-out was easy. Thank you!

The reason I gave you an average rating because you told me if I would set my payments up to be automatically drafted from my credit card that my payment wouldn’t increase and my payments were increased twice after I set my payments up on auto draft.

Staff was great and efficient when my unit wasn't available in the system the young lady immediately spoke with her manager and they were able to get the storage unit for me and once I unloaded my items into the storage unit then I was able to turn in the Uhaul my move was effortless and convenient. No complaints except upon move out saw roaches/roach eggs on my belongings.. for $140 a month you'd think pest control would be taken care of. Had my stuff stored here while I was waiting on my house to be ready for move in, and now after moving in all of my belongings to my home and out of the unit, I have had to call an exterminator to ensure that my house does not become infested with roaches. Other than that, I have no complaints, staff is nice, facility is secure and otherwise clean.

Being a former Uhaul emplyee for plus 5years. I know with just a handful of folks working it's diffilcult to keep work space kept & clean but not impossibile with the right team. I was impressed with my intire experience at the Bartlett Uhaul. From the Store mngr & team keep up the great work!

Would be nice to have 24 h access instead of until 10 pm and also a little be more friendly smiles form the staff. Luckily for us, our storage room was on the ground floor; have no idea how people might deal with loading/unloading heavy furniture to/from second floor storages as there is no elevator in the building. Very narrow corridors, which makes it uneasy to maneuver with long items. Other than that, nothing much to complaint about. Average storage facility, air-conditioned but could be a little better. Also, making customers obligated to buy U-Haul's lock and not allowing to use their own is absolutely ridiculous practice.

You all did not listen I told your staff I had a home owners insurance policy and in return I was told I had to get your policy which does not cover all of my content . But i know my policy will cover just do not like you charged the 7,95 for non reason...just listening helps ... and asking for a copy of the declaration page would have helped ....

Most of the workers at this location are rude it's incredibly unbelievable there are very few that actually have customer service skills I couldn't wait to move out so I wouldn't have to deal with any of them ever again. The night I moved out a white lady working cause I don't have names said it would be $20 to unhook and hook my carrier back up to the truck, I thought it was ridiculous but whatever I'll pay it. I sent my son in to pay and the black that was working told her not to do it and from my understanding from another customer he felt like she was talking nasty to him so he came out to help us. I'm just glad it's over! You guys charged a whole month and I was only there less than a week this pay month, then no one ever called me for a location to pick up my reservation so I had to find a location in another state at the last minute and drive 3 hours y'all are the worse.

When I arrived there was a lock on the unit. However the csr and manager were very helpful. The manager walked over to my unit and removed the old lock. She also made sure I had everything I needed.

Storage unit was fine. Customer service experience was horrible. I ordered a uhaul and tried to get them to pull it out of the parking spot for me to get it ready for a walk around, etc. but manager said they wouldn't do it. Just very unfriendly people working there and will not be using them in the future.

I have been using U-Haul storage since 2004 and in Feb 2021 I was able to get rid of one of the 2 rooms that I had. It was a sense of relief. I have had bad service many times when I had to interact with the front office staff. The day before yesterday, May 1st, 2021, I had to go to the office because your computer system was down. This is unacceptable. I was unable to pay my rent online. I had to drive 9 miles one-way because I did not want to be late with my rent. You should hire better IT personnel and if it was due to power failure, you should have a Diesel generator.

I stored half of my household in room 1713 for 15 1/2 years and finally on February 2nd, 2021 I consolidated all my possessions into room 1705. Over the years, I have noticed that the quality of service of this facility has gone down. It seems that when I ask for something, they are doing me a favor. It took a month for the office to acknowledge that I had emptied room 1713 which I communicated with the attendant at the front office immediately after I cleaned the room. They even sent me an email asking me for payment of rent of the unit after 3 weeks that I have emptied it and released it. Customer Service needs a serious revamp at this location.

The girl who helped me was very easily flustered and distracted and kept putting other customers in front of me that had been there less time than me. It took an hour from the time I got there to when I was finally able to unload my moving pod in to the storage space.

The constant calls and poor consideration during a time when our country was in crisis. Even after I was told my personal items were auctioned off, you continued your calls. I will not seek storage with your location EVER again. You should not be allowed to treat people as poorly as you treated me. Good luck and God bless!

I felt the young lady who was to finalized my storage locker closure did not take my concerns to heart. I raised two or three concerns that I felt she could have handled, but she chose not to assist! I was able to later go online and finally find the answers to my concerns and took care of them there. She absolutely did not want to do any extra work, but she did hurry back to her phone call!

The staff could not explain policies effectively. I reserved a 10x15 unit before hand and the staff said that they could not rent the last kind of unit, so they may not be able to give me the 10x15 that I reserved??? The manager did not help at all while the store clerk/cashier attempted to simultaneously check out three customer's orders. The cashier also said that workers would show us where my unit was, and help us unload. The workers did neither. The manager refused to check out my truck rental that I needed to drop off, and kept calling on the radio for someone else to do it. No one did until AFTER closing time.

Excellent truck and tow dolly. The tire strap came loose from the drivers tire while in transit. I checked the tightness of the straps each time I stopped. If I had to do over I would rent the hauler.
