I believe I was over charged for gas and the truck I rented had a check engine light on felt very unprofessional for a corporate location.

PETER uNew Bern site did a good job, knowledgeable and friendly. Original reservation was at 716 Capital Blvd but they did not have reserved equipment at pickup and was a disorganized, dirty mess with disinterested staff. I WILL NOT reserve from the Capital Blvd location again.

Vernal SI only needed the vehicle to move a bed and I clocked the mileage when I got in the truck and took a picture of it as well and from start to finish I only went 16 miles and somehow they managed to charge me $130 and even though I clocked my mileage. Before I took the vehicle a young guy who work there came up to me and told me make sure you take a picture of the mileage before you leave because they always b******* with the mileage and that is your proof and this was coming from a young man who worked there now I called to speak with a manager about it and a black guy at the front told me she wasn't there and I asked him was she the same lady that was sitting beside him when I first came to get the vehicle and he said yes I said well she is there because I just seen her in the back when I was picking my personal car back up and he stumbled over himself not knowing how to explain to me why he wasn't I'm going to put the manager on the phone because he told me she wasn't there but she clearly was there.
Rita BNever using this company again. The location and the representatives were great, however the fees paid forward are not the only charges and they do not tell you! You find out by charges on your card about 15-30 minutes after you return the rental. First, and last time I use this service.

Big EWe rented storage units from U-Haul in North Carolina for 15 years never once was forced to pay for insurance on a unit at this location we had no choice but to pay for insurance on the unit. The building has a mildew smell and there's air fresheners plugged in the walls to try to hide it not the standard we are used to when we running from U-Haul for the past 15 years

Zellice WI used the online app to save time and I still had to wait for over 15 minutes just to get a key. Then as the U-Haul associate moved the truck and stated that the truck was ready. I drive off and get to my destination and there are blankets and an appliance dolly in the back of the truck. So apparently the truck had not been inspected for the next customer to use. I was afraid that I would be charged for equipment that I didn't request through the online app.

Two different people said that it. would be fine with no problems. The morning of, i called because i couldn't find the keys and they told me i couldn't take the trailer without someone there to hook it up. Pretty upsetting seeing as i had a 16 hour drive ahead of me.

Stephanie WI had no issues for the duration of my rental. I'm thankful for the staff who were very helpful. On the day I moved in, I was coming from DC and traffic had me running up against closing time and when I called and told them my situation, they were willing to stay open a few minutes after closing time to check me in to my unit. On the day that I was due to check out they were willing to extend the hours. Again super thankful for each team and their customer service over the years of my rental.

Had 2 go to auto parts store and get a can of wd40 and Had to work on the ratchet for the wheel strap for a half hr in the pouring rain to get it freed up and working so i could load the car safely on the trailer. Told attendant upon return and they acted like they could give a care less. Said they would "note it". Kinda expected a lil more than that but I guess not with U Haul. U should say, u haul, u fix, then maybe u haul.

MICHAEL A | Expérience généraleThere are never enough people at the counter & lines often back up. Moving out I waited about 40 minutes for two people ahead of me. The guy went as fast as he could, it wasn't his fault, it was fault of not having another person working. Where I picked up my trailer in Montana they always had 2-4 people working and no waits were ever a thing. When moving in I didn't understand the term on the website about the storage being up on a platform (split level), so when I arrived and realized I had to walk my stuff up every time without my Dolly or an elevator I wasn't happy... obviously this was my mistake, so I don't blame the facility, but clearer language on the website as to elevator/stairs only access would have been helpful. Each time it took me about an hour and 25+ trips which would have been done in 25 % of that time had I went somewhere with a elevator and Dolly access. The mouse traps I guess are necessary, but definitely not a great impression of the place. Some of the poison got on my stuff (I'm guessing from a pest that escaped it). I'd have preferred the storages been sealed up right and less risk of pests as to not need that. The move in process was smooth & once I was seen (after 40 min of waiting in line) so was the move out, so the staff that was there were all good.
