This Uhaul location is a scam. They show pictures of the front, back, and top of the vehicle but not the side of the truck. I agreed the pictures matched the truck but there was no pictures of the side and they charged me 350 for a mark on the side of the vehicle that was already there. Highly do not recommend!

My reservation pickup location was changed without even asking me. When I showed up at the new location I was told that I was early (1 hour) and they couldn't promise that my trailer would arrive by the appointment time. Then I was told that I could call around to see if I could find another. Awful location. They did help after I asked. So, I ended up returning to the Broad street location. Great service. Great people.

In the past we have used Uhaul and got our deposit back the same day as when we turned the truck in. This time, we still haven't gotten our deposit back. We turned the truck in yesterday. Times are tough, having to wait 3-7 days on money that was easily taken from us, is ridiculous. You guys should work on that.

I had no problems with the broad st. location at all but the Gordon hwy location is not a good one.. what they could approve on is checking lock boxes to make sure keys are were they should be before the location closes ,for the 24 hour mobile pick ups. Also Uhaul should not cancel a reservation until the end of the day especially if they were having system issues.

I want to mention Antonio. Awesome employee!! There was an issue with the key being locked in the truck which makes me want to say about leaving the key in the vehicle instead of taking it to the counter. This policy should be changed!!!

They didn't have the trailer I reserved. They made me go to another location to get the trailer. I also rented a truck but they wouldn't move that reservation. So I had to rent truck from here then rent trailer at other location. Then they made me return them to both locations. I asked if I can just return to one location to same me time and me paying extra mileage to get to and from other locations and they rudely said NO.

Units you can only access via LADDER shouldn't ever be a thing, and it certainly doesn't mention it in the app when you're booking. Also, the manager essentially revoked a promo code the app prompted me with for a free month of storage, costing me around $80. The manager is also constantly (I mean, constantly. While I was ON THE LINE, as well as while I was physically near here while she was showing me to the unit) on the phone with who I assume to be her significant other. Really really annoying and unprofessional.

I was charged $20 extra to load my car onto the tow dolly. I agreed only because I have no experience with the entire process and I trusted that the persons that do this on a daily basis are competent. However, this was not the case. I had a gut feeling that something was wrong. I did a walk around safety check, I was in shock when I saw the passenger side wheel straps were totally UNDER THE WHEEL!!! I did a quick search of the area and found a U-Haul dealership. The technician was also in shock when he saw the location of the straps and he couldn't believe that I was charged EXTRA for loading the car on the tow dolly. I am aware that I should have checked the vehicle before I left the original U-Haul dealer in Augusta Georgia. I just trusted that it was done correctly since I was charged additionally for the loading process.

The truck I was rented had a cracked windshield and the oil pressure was so high that at some point I could smell oil burning in the truck. I opted out of rental insurance - I felt like I was given a truck that had problems on the hope that if it broke down or had issues, I would have to pay for it. Gave me a potential lemon that could have costed me dearly

My furniture was destroyed in the storage unit from mildew. I've been renting for over 4 months and the store manager has always gave me poor attitude with little assistance. The other staff however are nice but everytime I come in there is someone new which is not surprising.

There is no light in my storage area. So, it's pitch black unless you have a flashlight. There is construction form damage, which is understandable, but materials are left sitting unattended, which could cause a potential hazard. Overall, the facility is secure and decent.

My storage was auctioned off and my husband passed away from covid so I felt really bad about the Uhaul experience I had in the pandemic not being financially able to keep up with my account and lost all the things that we worked and earned. I'm grieving for the things that I tried to hold onto, but lost in your storage facility. Hopefully I'll get pass it one day. Your General Manager thought I would be able to get it out, but it was and still is a pandemic in our country and it has affected everyone including me and my family as we lost or mother recently also and everything she had in another Uhaul facility as well under the same circumstances. The unit door was broken so I had to be moved to another unit. There was only one person who could help me and he was busy doing something else. I waited over 3o minutes. I came back later and an additional 30 minute wait ensued. Finally I got moved in. There was no lock in the unit as promised. The access code didn't work so they had to let me in manually. When I came back with a second load the gentleman working the evening informed me that I had to input my access code in two places The access door worked fine after that. Everything is fine now. The check in was not smooth though.

I was told while booking the space that I would have a 23 x 10 x 10, or something like that. When I arrived at the facility that space at already been taken and now I'm in a super small unit and my stuff does not fit, I had to take half of the stuff back in the truck to my residence and I'm very dissatisfied.

The staff went over and beyond!! Rented a storgae that the csr thought would fit how ever I would need an additonal unit. The csr didn't have anything bigger so to accommodate my needs she gave the second one for free!! Fast respectful over and beyond.

A lot of homeless people hanging around. If it rains water is a foot deep out front no drainage system overpriced.a lot of my stuff mildewed. Nobody ever answers phone there.

The first people I interacted with were great and helped me right away, and suggested a better storage unit than I had chosen. The last interactions were not so pleasant especially from the owner/ general manager of the facility. There is no reason to ask for so much personal information and then when asked why it's needed when all other information was given, the answer is "because that's the way it is". That's not a good reason to ask for something and when told there are no more things to give should be acceptable and you move on. I should not be then threatened to have to move out of my unit I just purchased and moved into because of this. Then speaking to the next person above that and get the same excuse is unacceptable. Your policy needs to be updated and your computers need to allow people using them to continue on without delay. Then after all of that be charged for 2 extra days of use of equipment when it was barely over 1 day is also unacceptable especially moving from another state and having to pack and travel.

There are no numbers on outdoor units and the workers don't even know which is which. They moved me in to one that was owned by someone else and I had to move out after unloading all my household goods into the unit. Slow response times and overall poorly managed property.
