Continue on the trek you are on. Manager Paul and his staff associate Isaiah did a wonderful job. The process was quick and easy with each associate providing a thorough overview of the equipment and process. I will definitely keep this location in mind for future needs.

The return process was VERY cumbersome, the agent on duty was borderline rude, I was told to leave the key in the vehicle and leave. I asked for the general manager and he was able to assist.

I returned the truck clean with gas. I was told that everything was fine. The next day there is a $94 charge trying to come off my card.

It was not a good experience. My pickup time was at 5:30 which I was there a little before to do the check-in. Then it wouldn't let me do after hours pick up so I called truck share and was on hold for about half an hour then got a hold of someone. Which lead to me being transferred to customer service who then transferred me back to truck share where I was on hold for another half hour. By the time I got out of there it was 8:30. Three hours after my original pick up. Like I was. It was a horrible experience.

Two staff for such a central location is way too few. You wait forever even if you already checked out online. Entry and exiting from the location into traffic is flat-out dangerous.

License plate on trailer was bent and every time I opened trailer door, it would get stuck. I was told by manager that if I picked up in Raleigh, I could drop off at any location in wake Forest. Thought that would be convenient. I drove around wake Forest for over an hour stopping at different locations and none of them would take the trailer. Ended up taking it back to location just a few miles north of where I picked it up from. Just a waste of time. Will never do that again.

The low tire pressure gauge was on in the dash at pickup. The attendant checked all tires and added air but the light remained on the entire time. There was some question about the fuel level at return. I am glad I waited for an attendant to manually check it in at return. I am so glad I took a picture of the fuel level before leaving the lot which was time stamped.

Single mom who moved to a new state who knows no one. Prepared for this move accordingly. Store didn't open up until 9:30. I hired movers to help me and they left because I was so late getting back. I called the uhaul Corp to let them know the store wasn't open... I was transferred to 5 diff people who kept saying they couldn't help me. Was refunded $50 but lost $300. The experience was awful and I would never recommend your store. It truly felt like no one cared... I explained my situation to Shelton who opened the store and he said it wasn't his problem and he couldn't help me.

Truck was completely out of fuel. I walked to nearby gas station to fill up a small gas can to get the truck driven to the gas station to then add more fuel. Truck had no working turn signals. Truck has transmission failure, continuously slipped between gears and would barely make 40mph. I felt lucky to make it to my destination safely. I had to take back roads to avoid being a hazard on the main roads.

Went to location I set as pick up was told to go to another location (3001 Capital). When arrived they could not find key to first truck, so issued another. Did not tell me where truck was, so had to wonder the lot. When I returned the truck they didn't check the truck and then I see on final bill that I was charged for fuel, even though I filled it back up. Worst UHaul experience in my life!!

When I arrived at 8AM to pick up the trailer I reserved online there was no one at the desk. There was only one worker on site, and he was in the yard handling other customers. I had to wait 30+ minutes to be helped. This made me late for my appointment with others. Once I was helped the attendant was helpful and was trying his best working alone. He helped me connect the trailer to my vehicle and checked trailer connections, lights, etc. The trailer had cement 'crust' or residue on floor so was not clean. When I returned the trailer the attendant was present to help me and was very courteous and helpful. I"ve rented from this location before. I might try a different location in the future.

Make sure a customer is able to get the key out of the lockbox so they are able to pick up the truck for the time that they scheduled so they don't lose time waiting for the store to open. And make sure the associate knows where the trucks are parked.

Was overcharged I returned truck with same amount of fuel but was charged $66 called multiple times but was told they were too busy to look into it! I have a time stamped photo of fuel level when I returned it! I only drove 23 miles but was charged 8 gallons

Truck was unavailable for appointment - not notified and the clerk seemed uninterested in finding a solution, after suggesting another store, got the truck by around 2:15, and had to rebook information already provided in app. Then requested equipment was not in the U-Haul (dolly). Made it work, but it felt like an overall messy experience.

The gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful. I shared with him that a walk through was not completed when I picked up the truck and provided some pictures. It was explained that I should have received a text in which I would have taken pictures and confirmed details. After dropping off the vehicle I went back to my phone and realized there was a text sent I was just not aware I was supposed to perform those steps. While this is an error on my part and both locations were very nice, for someone like me who does not rent often it would have been good to be told that a text was coming and there were steps to perform in advance.

I’ve been a customer for several years, this experience has been one of the worst, I was rudely told I didn’t qualify for a free month of storage, “you can buy it or not, but your not getting it for free” when I picked up the truck it was completely empty, had no gas, he did not correctly mark my paperwork, he marked it as if it had a quarter of a tank of gas, again I said hey this truck is empty, no gas “you can go next door and put gas in it, you gotta do it anyway” even though the website said I qualified for promotions, I didn’t receive them, it quickly became “ at participating locations “ even though the location I chose was a “ participating “ location, I could not get the storage unit open, I sat on hold for 45 minutes before someone came and assisted me…this move has already been difficult, but my experience with uhal made it 10x worse.

The only issue was when I left. I went into the store part to let them know I had removed all my items. The guy at the desk said I didn't need to do anything. I said I did and wanted a verification. He gave me a small piece of paper to write the unit down. So I called a Monday to get a receipt/confirmation.

Your employee Christian was very helpful and a great guy! He wasn't working Sunday AM when I checked out, felt sorry for the only person working on a Sunday AM Holiday Weekend. Felt even more sorry for all the people watiing to be helped! Understaffed just like every business today.

I purchased an indoor unit that should have been accessible via a large bay door from the outside. The manager explained that the bay door did not work so we had to unload and haul everything down from the truck down a hallway to the unit vs backing the truck up to the bay door and unloading our things directly into the unit.

The first unit I was assigned was not vacant and was a mess. So, I had to go back in and get a new unit assigned. Also, I was told I had to purchase a lock and it was not included despite what the website said. However, when I got the reassigned unit that was vacant, a lock was included. By then, the store closed so was unable to return a lock for a refund. Attendant on duty was cordial and helpful overall but some disconnects with the units & locks.

I made a reservation for a space the day before. When I arrived to the location, the staff member pretty much said "sorry, we gave it to someone else because we have too many requests." So, a loss of my time. What are reservations for? At least the staff member helped in finding a different location, which happens to be farther from where I am, so less convenient.

Storage unit rental was not very professional. Starting with the website false advertisements on deals. After paying was told that my reservation was not available and that I would need to go all over town to get my truck and storage unit job done. Then I after website problems I could not pay my rental. So they send me a rude letter of threatening to reposes my things . Not even a week late. Then I had to sit in a big line when all I needed was to pay. If that wasnt enough they're payment system would not take my credit card which I first paid without a problem . Counter lady was rude and obnoxious trying to say my card was declined. When my card was fine but they're payment system is faulty and without proper connections. So this particular UHaul on Capital Blvd gets a zero from me.

Uhaul employee that was working outside was extremely rude. I'm not sure why people that are so rude work in customer service. I will still use Uhaul.com but not this location. And they are very confrontational, be ware!

Only addition I would make, make the out door storage lit up a little more. I am not sure what camera setup there is outdoor storage but I every time I went in before daylight, it was always dark. I still felt safe leaving my vehicle there. Also, Uhaul had the best price in the 100 mile square area for outdoor storage.

Management at this facility has been very helpful and accommodating. On Sunday I found the young man that helped me was not overly friendly and didn't communicate enough. As my there was confusion around my storage reservation, he had to contact his manager (who was not working). Of course this was not a problem, but it would have been less frustrating for me if the associate would have just communicated more information about his dialogue with his Manager. It took well over an hour to checkin.

It would have helped us out to have someone there for a later shift that could assist us. It took us a long time to return the uHaul truck we rented, because we finally finished unloading it and the office hours had just ended. The app would not work on my phone at all, so rather than having someone right there that could help, we were on hold for forty minutes with the uHaul company. One we finally got through to someone, we had a forty minute phone call with a representative just to do this process of returning the truck. It was really hard to go through that after being totally exhausted from loading and unloading the truck that day. Overall great customer service, clean place, we were happy. I just suggest to staff one of the good folks that works there for a later shift until 9 or 10 pm.

I never got moved in. 2 days and several trips to the store (check cameras and phone logs) and the lock was never removed from the unit. You don't know this but I'm moving and in the process of looking for a home. Hopefully that search only takes a month or two but with this market it could take up to 6. My stuff will be in storage until my search is done. I cancelled my unit with your company and went to a competitor because of the poor customer service. Your staff was friendly, but they didn't actually complete my transaction. Seriously the basics weren't done and it cost you whatever the final tally would have been for the allotted time I end up needing a storage unit. Your facility is literally across the street from my current home and I'm gladly driving the extra 10minutes up capital to Public Storage just so I don't have to deal with the hassle of your facility. I don't usually offer unwarranted advice but I will here: take 5 minutes and ensure that each customer transaction is actually complete and you'll avoid situations like this in the future. It would have taken all of 2 minutes to remove the lock off of my unit and I'd happily be depositing my stuff there now. Also getting your customers names right is probably important. My name is Joshua James Foots and it was entered as Joshua James in the system. Not a big deal in my book but honestly the first step to establishing a good relationship is knowing the correct name. Especially when I give you my government issued license. I wish you the best and hope you improve so your future customers are better served.

They never took the uhaul lock off of my storage unit. I waited 30 minutes when the store was open and then I had to go because I had another appointment. The gentleman helping me said "I'll be sure to get the lock off in a few more minutes" I replied "Great I'll be back tonight to move in". I show up at 8:30ish with my friends to help me unload and the lock is still there. Office is closed, called customer service and they didn't have a phone number for anyone locally. It takes all of 30 seconds to take a lock off of a door. So as far as "move in" goes perhaps once I actually get moved in it'll be nice. Right now this is just a bad experience that is still unresolved.
