There was one employee that was in charge of the storage units that was a little too abrupt. She doesn't know what customer service is I don't believe.

For some reason, my U Haul app told me I was at the wrong location and I had to go inside to complete transaction. This was not the case as I had been redirected on 3,22 to go to this location after ordering from 412 Central Expressway.
MARY GIBSONUntil the African American lady went to work there I knew I had to get my stuff out of there. She was very rude on the phone to several people on the phone. I had my daughter call up there to and she spoke to her very crazy. I am 60 years old I deserve some kind of respect she wouldn't like her mother or daughter talked to the way she speaks to people. That is the worst thing you have done is give someone authority to that does not know how to treat people. She is the reason I went and moved all of my stuff out and took it to another storage. She will not talk to me and my family crazy whenever she feels like it.

When I went to pick up the van the Central Storage Manager was very rude. The manner in how she spoke and acted. She was having problems with her cell phone to take a picture of my driver's license. I did not walk with my phone. She was unable to take a picture of DL I suggested she call Uhaul to assist her with a phone she replied negative by saying I am not calling anyone. Then she said I came to her unprepared when I had my DL and method of payment. While speaking with her there were lots of head movements and lots of rolling her eyes. I could not believe I was in a place of business. I took out insurance. When I returned the van I went into the office she did not greet me. She pick up clip board and headed outside to inspect van. She said I damage right fender. She only took a picture of right fender and not the left fender to compare the sides. I took pictures of both sides had them added as part of my complaint. While taking the picture she burst out and said your CC will be charge for damages. It was said in a vindictive way. Why did I purchase the insurance? Looking at the fenders there were no damages. It was a very, very stressful experience. When we returned to office there was no communication. I was waiting not knowing what was next. I asked a question. Her response are you speaking to me while rolling her eyes and moving her head? I ha asked her do I get a copy of receipt showing my charges she said via email. I stood the whole time waiting for her to communicate. I learned there was no paper to print. I left the facility not knowing my charges. I rented from Uhaul before turned in key paid and was given receipt. It will be nice if you have cameras to record the performance of your workers. I can only share my ordeal with social media and friends. In addition, The 2 days she was out of paper. I told her if she does not like her job find another. She was not communicating, rolling her eyes and the angry tone of voice. I was so sorry I encountered such negative energy. I purchased the insurance to take care of false accusation. I am a very safe driver and responsible.

The pressure was correct for the identified tire. She checked all 4 just to make sure there were no other issues. The message never went off but the tires were inflated properly. The equipment was cleant. The truck itself ran horribly. I advised Ahrisha upon returning the truck that the transmission on that truck needs to be checked. There were several times during my trip that the transmission would not shift gears. Thankfully I or no one else was hurt.

There was no parking available to return the UHaul, when I told her that she just said well you have to park it somewhere! With attitude, she got mad that she had to move out of the desk to move the unit. Very disappointed, I would love to have my money back but that probably won't happen, also the unit was dirty when I received it. Though she stated it was great and ready. Deffenitelty not recommending this location, I own a moving business and rent trucks sometimes, will def not recommend to any of my customers.

I had to run the truck every couple hours to make that not happen and this one the truck got stuck in gear and was unable to move.
richard jenkinsI came in to close out my bill and storage unit. I told the employee that I would not be paying for my bill with the card on file, rather the one in my hand that I clearly showed him. He was more concerned about his Uber eats order and tipping the drive. Even though I was there first and there were two employees on staff. He then submits my payment via the card on file, when I told him not to. Then says it went through which was impossible. I get an alert from my bank stating that there was charge on my card, and obviously it was blocked after that. Then I go to clear out my storage the next day, and they had a padlock on it. Even though I paid they bill the day before. Had to go to another location and they had to come over and cut it off. HORRIBLE, management needs to hire and train better staff. The customer is suppose to come first not your Uber eats tip. SMH

Closing time painted on door was 7p, so i joined 3 others standing in 106 degree heat, thinking guy somewhere on site. No one there by 5:35p. so we each left. Called the next morning and was told the office closes @ 5p and they the hours painted on the door were wrong. so why did he tell me to return the truck by 5:30? i could just as well kept it overnight for all he'd know. GISELA CAMPOS | Premières impressionsThe truck provided was clean and well maintained but I put "no" because we reserved a furniture dolly, and when we got there they didn't have one or any dolly for us. The whole experience in general was frustrating because of that as well as the costs being way more than originally quoted. When I first reserved everything online several days before pickup, the quote was roughly $50. When we got there, the quote shot up to $92. I guess it was because we estimated 50 miles, but we ended up only driving 25ish miles. And then when all was said and done we got charged $96!! This was even though I got gas to fill the tank back up to where it was. Apparently it was a sliver under the original line so I got charged $20. Just felt like I was being taken advantage of every step of the way. The only reason I'm not eating it "poor" is because the lady I spoke to on the phone was kind and gave me a partial refund on the mileage.

REBECCA HAMILTON | Expérience généraleDisaster. We booked a 26 foot truck and were then advised to get a 10x20 storage. We should have been advised that it would take 30-45 minutes to complete the paperwork and that we should do that before the movers arrived. My UHaul movers were waiting around during that time and getting paid for waiting around. The access door was stuck. The movers told us that the 10x20 storage was too small. The only thing available was a smaller unit, which was still not enough. We had to cancel the unit, find another storage location, find new same day movers because there wasn't enough time to get to a new location and complete the job, and I had to pay the existing movers a 2 hour minimum for doing nothing. I called 1800UHaul and found another location that had 2 7x23 units, which was sufficient to hold our belongings. After completing the reservation I noticed that it was not climate controlled. That was a deal breaker in the 100+ F summer temperatures of Dallas. So I cancelled these units too. We booked a 10x30 unit at CubeSmart and hired another set of UHaul movers to move us late into the night into the CubeSmart unit.

I tried to use the app but it asked for a photo of the empty unit but it was not me who was at the unit and they had finished before I knew this was suggested. I have spoken to two people and was supposed to get a call back but have not. I did not authorize auto pay so you did not have the ok to charge me. We had to return to give you the access card. I did my online check in and arrived the next day to load my things into the unit, and there was no lock. I went to the front office to tell the lady working that I didn't receive my lock in the unit. She told me that it wasn't left in there because it wasn't paid for. I pointed out that the lock was supposed to be FREE according to my online check in and reservation. She then informed me that I had to pay $11 for the lock because U-Haul doesn't provide locks for free even though that's what was stated in my online checkin. If things are being advertised as free, then they should be free. I shouldn't have to pay for my FREE lock.

Wish they didn't bother keeping the box trucks there to rent would give more room for the storage customers. I think that spot would do better with vans and the trucks. And the front office feels claustrophobic now with all the boxes in the middle. I understand having more room for inventory to see but it's not much room to move around still even more so after the renovations.

I was locked out of my storage locker when then system showed I was paid in full. Management went even further to insult me by changing the unit number I was being billed for at 7 am on CHRISTMAS DAY without prior request, notification nor following the change. My bill quadrupled due to this change, and I contacted customer service at corporate and they too were not understanding why these things had occurred to me. I requested itemized copies of the invoice and was told that wasn't available. The name, phone number, and my name were completely wrong on file when this account was established and Ms.Kelso had no concern to correct it, and lied to me several times stating that it had been but hadn't. Even the last notification I received had the incorrect information on the dates pertaining to payments and due dates! This is the most unprofessional group of individuals I have encountered in the course of operating my business. No apology was ever given as to any mishandled information. I certainly will NEVER refer anyone to UHAUL!

There was a few times I'd go to purchase something from the office early in the morning right when they were to open and no one was there. I was trying to clean out my storage before my move and they just never seemed to be open when the office said it was suppose to be. Also, I asked to use the dumpster for a fee which was fine but they left earlier than the closing time so I was unable to use the dumpster. It was a hassle. I was still charged the fee however.

Pamela TaylorMike is very problematic. I reserved movers, storage, and a truck online. I came the day before the ensure that everything would go smooth for me to get there and he say he can't accept the reservation code for the truck that I needed the actual physical contact. Go to the other store to get it and they said no go back he can do it. So i go back and tell him Miranda said it was ok and he proceeded just fine. Gives me the receipt and tells me which unit. I go to the unit and it's a padlock on it so I drove back to the office for him to tell me it shouldn't be on there. We get in the golf cart and he's like oh and takes it off. I just feel like there was ALOT of wasted time for something I tried to have handled before arriving. Ron at the other location processed everything and got me out reasonably BUT the truck was on a battery charger and had an oil leak. I've used Uhaul through the years and I would like to continue doing so as long as when it's time for me to move out of storage it's not even more issues.

She lied and did not look over her own records to see that I was NEVER called about my past due until two days before they decided to place my belongings up for auction and gave me the ONLY option of paying in full and would NOT accept a partial payment and the rest of the balance by the end of the week! They sold off my all of my last belongings including registered weapons, to who knows who, and my social security card and birth certificate and those also of my husband and children! Would not even allow me to get those before the auction! Said all they would do is contact the buyer and ask that person, whoever he may be, to contact me. Of course, he never has. And why would he? He has guns and IDs that that can be sold for top dollar on any market. This manager is a true POS! She has a dark soul and I hope and pray the good Lord finds some way to reach her before the evil final takes her completely under. I will pray for her soul, but her actions and words speak volumes. DO NOT TRUST YOUR THINGS THERE BUT ESPECIALLY THE GENERAL MANAGER!!!

However the gentleman I dealt with in the beginning had terrible customer service.

April SmithStaff was SUPER friendly, quick, and knowledgeable! My only complaint was, the inside of the facility and the inside of my unit in particular wasn't clean AT ALL. There were PLENTY of dead crickets throughout the facility. I hate bugs!! There were 3 dead crickets in my unit and some spilled green stuff. Not sure what it was, but it looked as if it was coming from that black box that's in all of the storage units. Throughout the facility was PLENTY of trash (empty dryer sheet box, and an unknown object that was awkwardly laying in the walkway, along with much more) The facility looks like it hasn't been cleaned in about a year, when you compare it to other UHaul facilities. Other than that, the staff were amazing!!! The facility is just super dirty 濫濫
NIJAY BEY | Premières impressionsUhaul changed my pick up location multiple times because a 20 foot truck was not available at my preferred location. They did not even bother asking me where I am moving to & just picked a nearby location that was in the OPPOSITE direction of where I was moving to because it was close to my preferred location. I should have just used another moving company after my order was changed the first time. After multiple times of trying to get a truck, I switched to a location completely different from where my preferred location was. I did the after hours pick up and they forgot my utility dolly so now I was stuck between waiting an hour before they open to get one or just walking 20+ boxes from my home to the Uhaul instead of stacking 4-5 boxes on top of the dolly and just easily pushing it. I followed the directions on the self check to get my Uhaul key that was locked inside the back of the truck. The lock wouldn't open so I had to call customer service & they told me to apply pressure on the bolt of the lock while turning the lever. I doubt most people would be able to figure that out on their own because the lock was way too tight & nothing seemed to be working. I had to come back later on to pick up the dolly during regular business hours. I came to return the truck at around 8 PM at night so I looked on my reservation and the website to try to check in my Uhaul but could not find anywhere to do so. I filled up the Uhaul with gas & locked the keys in the back of the Uhaul using the lock the Uhaul came with & parked it in front of the store. I get a text message early in the morning saying I will be charged a $20 late fee for not bringing my Uhaul back before 10 PM. Absolute awful experience & lots of frustration. I used Uhaul to move for the last 10+ years but I think I will definitely use another company next time.

There was a new lock put on my unit without being informed (if i went before/after office hours it would've been blank trip). Taylor (manager) has been very hostile about the situation and initially told me they would need an extra 48 hours to watch surveillance after telling me that Miranda's lead information of a suspect was false. I reached out the the 1-800 number and spoke with management and was supposed to hear something back by July 14 still haven't heard anything. The customer service and professionalism here is a 0. Wouldn't recommend to anyone !

No disputes just employees should know what they are talking about to customers, the agent at Uhaul should have been able to tell me about online check-in same day reserved, the employee said that it was not possible, only here at the facility, wow!

Therefore, we had a much later start to our day of unloading our truck with our team of help. Not the owner's fault, just unfortunate circumstances / timing.
