Quick easy check in online was smooth and easy. The employees that I came on contact with were very nice
PAIGE BCashier checked me in but didn't tell me where the U-Haul was located so I had to come back in to ask. Van had a tire pressure sensor on so I had to go back in and ask. Same cashier advised "oh, that's just the sensor, the tire pressure is fine". The price quoted when I reserved was no where close to what I actually paid. When I returned, the same cashier who wasn't doing anything didn't check me back in but asked if I put the gas back in and sent me on my way. It would have been nice to know exactly what my final charges were before leaving.

Gregory PJeremiah, as always, was very helpful. I was a bit late for my appointment, but he and the team jumped right on my installation, and I was out in the time that I was hoping to be out. U-Haul hitches are very good and I expect this one to be equal to the others that I have installed on different cars.
Chris SGenerally painless and efficient. The van did have a low tire pressure indicator from the moment we got it, so maybe check for this or other indicators in advance. Otherwise all good.
John GI always use this location. It is convenient for after hour drop off and also during business hours when personnel have always been great to deal with.

joy yThe hiccup I had with this site and that I had to go and get the truck and back it out of line-up. I was fearful of hitting one of the other trucks and don't understand why customers are now having to do that.

Sharon BI made 3 different reservations…the girl at the counter was nasty as she could be tryna explain to they didn’t have any trucks available when I made reservations & got accepted for the pick up…the entire shift was being lazy and didn’t wanna clean the trucks so they can be rented & go back out she kept saying the next day would be better….better for her maybe but I have/had to work…tbe guys working was co-signing everything she was saying & I knew they were saying something right anyways I ended up calling customer service support & they got me right in as I thought I would they need to put people in place that want to work & keep Uhaul going
kimberly wThe only complaint is that the fuel tank was only 1/4 full, which is very inconvenient. I suggest the tank be at least half full for a customer.

DOROTHY HYou had put the wrong unit numbers in your system for our two storage units. As a result, our locks were cut off without us knowing it, and we realized your error just in time to avoid losing our belongings. This was simple carelessness on your part. The facility is clean, well lit and well maintained but the error that was made by having the wrong information in the system causes me to rate the facility poorly.

Also the representative had trouble accessing the reservations. Web issues I guess

JOHNSON HThe service at this location was excellent everyone was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the spaces are not tall enough to make loading the inside units convenient. The ceilings are only 6 ft and it felt extremely claustrophobic. I also could not stack wardrobe boxes and other things I have high enough to make the space work. So I had to go with another location.

Wouldn't even bother to let you finish a sentence without rudely interrupting and telling you to "go inside. get in line." and ask someone else. talking to you like a drill sergeant. If this place wasnt literally walking distance to my apartment I would've gone anywhere else. the man who was there was very kind and was the only one who was helping clients who walked in. props to him for doing the job of 2 people.

Adam LThe app was an absolutely terrible experience to pick up the truck. The app kept freezing and not advancing. Then, it gave terrible directions to where the truck was, shut down, and then I couldn't get back to the screen showing the directions to find the truck. The single staff member was over worked and so they weren't able to help me find the truck either. Also, the truck had 1/16 of a tank of gas when I picked it up.

Richard OI was caught off guard by the cost. I was expecting to pay some money but the rate online was $29,95 but when all was said and done it was almost $150. It was explained to me about premium equipment and Saturday rental plus one way but I just felt like it was false advertisement. It was not a reflection of the service I received just it was quite shocking when I was already dealing with an already emotional move.

She stated people were waiting for the rental I was using and there were no other trucks yet when I rushed back to return the rental there were trucks in the lot. We didn't get to finish moving everything in my house because I couldn't extend the rental for one more hour.

greg lKia was great and knowledgeable. The equipment was fine. What was horrible was the hour long wait to get through the line and out the door with the trailer in tow. We were right on time for our reservation, and then delayed an hour because of how slow everything was going. I don't know if that was due to computers, employees, or other renters, but it put us behind schedule for the whole rest of the day and weekend.

They are somewhat helpful, because they do speak, but they do not demonstrate initiative or like for their employment at Uhaul. This storage room was rented while moving apartments in November, therefore I also rented a truck during this time. I was rudely told to go get my own dolly "from the back" when I noticed it was not inside the truck. Merci.

Amal H | Expérience généraleThe assistant manager on duty was very disrespectful. I had a free month of storage that she would not honor. She told me to call customer service and they verified it. I was transferred to the complaint department and they verified my free month as well. The asst manager called her boyfriend who is the general manager of the store and he would not honor my free month as well. The rep on the phone filed a complaint against the store and called the general manager herself to get the issue solved. The asst manager even threatened to put me out the store just because I said "it's always us"! I was never rude to her during the whole ordeal! These situation wasted a lot of my time and my movers time! I would like to personally file a complaint against the asst manager and the general manager. Once the issue was solved the asst manager didn't even apologize!

After a while of trying, I decided just to call. Employee named Kia answered and she was fabulous. Very friendly, patient and helpful. Kia was at the UHaul location when I arrived on Saturday and was just as friendly in person. The guys helped me get the trailer hooked up and all was smooth from there on out.

The location and the employees working there are outstanding and went out of their way to help with my truck and the storage issues. I highly recommend the location.

There was no lock in our unit as promised. Moved in 11/4 with our own lock, tried to move more items in on 11/10 but there was a facility lock on our door preventing us from accessing the unit. Looked at our online account, it says we are past due but a month has not passed therefore we should not be locked out. Tried calling number posted for after hrs 3x with no answer. Found office unlocked and sliding door still operational. Looked to see if someone was still on site, found no one. Tried calling number again, finally reached someone who said they would try to find someone to come out. Someone did finally arrive but only secured office. Said he couldn't help us access our unit. We are now left with a truckload of belongings and nowhere to store them. This is completely unacceptable behavior!

The facility was a 0 for me with the roaches that occurred within the first week. The response to fix this issue could have been much quicker. It's not really a fix but the bug bomb killed off anything that was on the soft bags. Unfortunately, (now I know) with it being an outside unit, this is common. The rating is in no way a reflection on the staff. Terrance and Shaun were also very helpful from the start with reporting the issue. Jeremiah the GM was great once he understood there were roaches and took care of it to the best of his abilities, except it was too late (3-weeks in). The issue with this location is the roaches which appeared in my unit the very first week. I lost several items due to the roaches including memento that were damaged and irreplaceable. The area manager Michelle was supposed to contact me and never did. I am saddened by this experience. The only reason I would not recommend this facility, is the roach problem. The staff, were as helpful as could be with the circumstances. This facility really needs to contract with professional services like Terminex and Orkin. I would have never place my items here had I know there was a roach issue. If you choose to store here, make sure you know there is a roach problem in the outside units and store all your items in air tight plastic bins.

Everything about the site was perfect, from security to staff. The women that I meet, who maintained the inside of storage facility was helpful and nice. When I came and went from the building and saw her it was like meeting a long lost friend walking down the street. Just a nice person, along with the staff in the store itself.

When I was given a second story unit, I asked where the elevators were. The response from the employee was, "this building has been open for over 10 years and has never had an elevator! You should know that!" - I am not from the area and was just helping my daughter move. The location is convenient and the hours of operation are convenient, just don't expect more than the bare minimum from the staff (my mistake for expecting helpful staff)

They then tried to switch me into a different unit and the same thing happened in that one. Eventually after trying to find an open one for 30 minutes, they realized that none of that type of unit were available at all. How does this even happen? I was actually assigned a unit number and everything, even though someone still had stuff in it. The employees found an available inside storage unit that I used for now, but I really needed an outside access unit. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating.

You should have known that!" There were several similar remarks made to me and to other customers during what should have been a 5 minute interaction. I believe customer service could be better. The staff have often gone above and beyond. While we are happy to no longer be paying fees for storage, we will return for any truck rental or storage needs that we have in the future.

Shirlena G | Expérience généraleWhen the moving van and movers we hired arrived at the facility, there was no one there to explain that they had lost power and that the facility was closed. We talked to duke power employees who were fixing the broken transponder and they let us know what had happened. I had to pay an additional $600 for the movers to then take my belongings to their Raleigh storage facility to hold until I could find another storage facility. When I called for a refund the next day, no one apologized. I was told, "i had booked the facility for 11-20, if I had just moved in then, this wouldn't have happened." I was very disappointed by the staff's response and lack of empathy. I have received my refund and will not be working with or reccomending u haul in the future.

Was unable to do it over the phone and had problems initially with the first person I spoke to and gave up on getting a first floor storage. Then TraShawn Chambers got involved and had the situation resolved in no time. Very grateful for his assistance and the assistance of the other employee at the time. He also helped and explained how the facility security worked after we triggered the alarm accidentally. Facility condition was clean and move in was quick and easy. Great overall experience!

In that two months, I was hassled with mail, emails, and phone calls regarding rent that I wasn't responsible for and statements regarding lien on my property (which had been moved out before my one free month was even up). Uhaul support told me they'd contacted the manager three times on my behalf but the issue was not resolved until I got a phone call from a representative asking me when I was going to pay the back rent and fees. After I told her I'd moved out months ago and submitted a move out request before my free month was over, she promptly said she would remove me from the system.
Tia M | Expérience généraleThe instructions to access the building worked perfectly, but the doors didn't work. Additionally, there was still a lock on my unit when I arrived at at 7:50pm. This is 10 minutes before they close. When I went to the front, they asked me if I had ever been there before. I said no I reserved online. I can only imagine they're supposed to keep track of those with online move-ins to unlock units before tenants arrive. I was told by the employee, "Word of advice, don't arrive 10 minutes before we close." He went and unlocked the lock I said Thank you and he said nothing in return. Additionally, the climate in that side was reading 88 which is outside the range they promise for climate controlled storage. It's supposed to be maintained from 75-85 degrees. Finally, they promise you a free lock in the unit. There was no lock provided. Online process was easy, but this facility is a disaster. I DO NOT recommend anyone move into this location.

The woman who reserved the storage rental over the phone for me reserved one that was half the size of what we needed, and you can imagine our dismay after traveling 5 states! "Y" was very quick to assure us that he would take care of it and fix the situation. He was compassionate to our frustration over the situation and understanding in our apologies that our upset was not directed at him. He worked diligently to find us 2 storage units that were relatively close to each other, took his time to walk us through how to get there, including highlighting a map and providing us with it AND taking us personally there. He took the time to explain that the codes take 24 hours to upload before they stop setting off the alarm, how to enter the codes, the best doors to unload and come through, and what the best locks were for us to get. As we were in the midst of unloading the truck with helpers and movers and figuring out what was going into each unit, "Y" took the time to walk over to us to let us know his shift was ending and to see how we were doing and if there was anything we needed or anything further he could do for us. I asked a few questions about returning the truck while we were still there and their hours and he took the time to not only answer those questions but to just chat and laugh a bit. When I asked about if we needed to extend our storage a bit, he assured me that I could just call him and he would handle it for me. He truly is an exemplary employee who is not only focused on the customer's needs, but clearly on the entire customer experience. He exhibited excellence and, in my humble opinion, deserves a promotion and a raise. (While he was taking care of us, I also watched him help his coworkers with issues and support his manager all without missing a beat.)

As there was only one way in or out, it was difficult if multiple people were there at one time moving. I had to wait about 3 minutes for other people to move out of the way to be able to get my stuff in. For units that are farther from the entrances, there should be more entrances put in for easier access to them.

Jarron was the general manager, Jeremiah helped me, and there were at least one or two other people working. They were all incredibly professional and courteous, and incredibly aware of how stressed people are now, because of covid-19. I overheard several phone calls and they were always polite and friendly with those customers, and with the in-person customers they were as well, and offered all the protections (distancing, hand sanitizer, etc) to keep everyone safe. But beyond that, they worked REALLY WELL together as a team. It was obvious that they liked and respected each other, communicated well, and were primarily concerned with making sure the customers got what they wanted. Would absolutely use again.
