Yes and no I have no idea why I was charged over 70 dollars because I didn't even go that far and put the gas back before I dropped it off. Also the app is terrible it took me 20 minutes to figure out the app and to get it to work.

Vehicle was ready at 8am. However, I ordered two dollys, neither of which was with the truck. I had to wait an hour for them to open before I could. When they opened I ordered two appliance dolly, they had one, and one furniture dolly. I talked to U-Haul on the phone and in the store and got the runaround on any discount for my hassle. What happened to the U-Haul guarantee? Right equipment, right place, right time?

Dropped the rental back off at 2:55, got charged for 2 days because they did not check back in until 4:09. Have pictures and the video from the facility to prove it. Need my money back asap. Truck also smelled like someone chain smoked in there for 10 years, and there was a bookshelf left in from a previous move. Was told it was barely less than half a tank, however, it was just barely over 1/4.

Originally we were going to drop the UHaul off at the Broad Street location. The woman who received us was super rude. Said "You're not supposed to be here." "You can't drop that off here." She acted like we should have known we were in the wrong place. We showed her our email confirmation that yes, that was indeed the correct location, but she didn't even try to figure out how the miscommunication happened. She was super dismissive and essentially said we were at fault for not knowing we couldn't drop the truck off there. She insisted we had to go to another location and had to be asked to provide the address. Compared to my other experience where the guy couldn't have been more patient and helpful, this experience was awful.

I usually rent from a different location, but they didn't have the truck available and my reservation was shifted to Eakin road. They treated me like a long time customer, were friendly and efficient and the whole experience could not have been smoother. Both picking up the truck, and the return. All of your locations should run this well!

Beyond disgusted with the service, facility and staff here. From the disgusting bathroom to the magically non-functional cameras when your items get stolen, to the staff who literally cuss you out for dropping an extension cord off your cart. Not to mention, the homeless junkies they refer your way to help you load and unload trucks being trashy thieves.. they stole my power washer, $1800 bike, ALL of my DeWalt and Milwaukee tools. Not only do they keep hiring the same thieves to help, but they don't help with camera footage for the police. It's a joke.. then finally, they hired the same junkies to put out stuff back in the unit while We handled a discrepancy with the truck and they absolutely destroyed everything we owned they broke everything that was glass they broke everything that was electronic they stole what they wanted and left it in absolute disgusting disarray all of which I have photos and video evidence of.

The storage itself is great - it's the office staff that leave something to be desired. The manager especially is either rude when dealing with her or too busy hanging out in the parking lot hanging on one of the gentlemen who works with her and if there's anyone else working they're too busy on their phones or doing other personal things to help customers. They are extremely unprofessional and inappropriate in front of customers. Even the way the manager dresses, wearing extremely short shorts, is unprofessional. I have never been able to get the help I need when I've tried to go in the office for assistance. You definitely need new office staff!

For some reason it smells like tacos or Curry powder makes my eyes water and it's uncomfortably hot we could use cement ramps in front of the doors for easy access in and out our stuff falls off the carts we aren't allowed to park in front of the doors to get our stuff in and out

U-Haul at Broad & Central, 1428 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43222 Drop Off. This review is for the Broad St. location. My contract stated Broad St. location. When I arrived I gave the key to a gentlemen at the counter and he said thank you and I thought I was done. Then a very rude woman said I had to take the vehicle to Eakin Rd location. I said I already turned in the key. She threatened me with charging me triple my rental for "wrong drop off location." She never apologized or asked if I wouldn't mind going 10 minutes away to drop off the vehicle. I told her I had not received any instructions on a new drop off location. She then called a phone number and told them to send me to Eakin. THEN I got a text to go to Eakin while I was standing there and after she hung up the phone. This is highly unprofessional and rude. I cannot in good conscience recommend UHaul to anyone after this experience. I would expect UHaul to refund my rental to make up for this employee's highly unprofessional behavior. Not happy at all with the constant jump in fees . I am however working on getting my storage unit empty because of how much it's starting to cost. An there is no reason for it as far as I can see . 6 years is a long time to be paying for a unit away. So there is a penalty for being a long time customer..

Many of the items in my unit got damaged while being in the storage unit. Bugs and mold got into my unit and into my stuff. The unit doesn't have lighting so at night it's not well-lit. My rent continued to increase nearly every month, and there are more desirable neighborhoods where I could store my stuff for less, with less crime, and it is less likely for my unit to get stolen from, so I moved my items to a different storage facility in Dublin OH. The staff is very friendly, helpful , and attentive to customers. I'm aware that this is an issue for corporate.

I got charged $56 on my credit card. $100 deposit and only got 56 back and and was still charged on my credit card. I should have got my I should have got my whole deposit back since they charge my credit card for the rental. I think it's robbery and it's finest

While I selected "Yes" for the facility being clean and well maintained (the front parking lot and office were great), there was some scattered broken glass and ceramic at the rear-side loading bay area (no doubt caused by folks moving fragile items in and out). This wasn't enough to warrant a "No" but wanted to submit it to benefit the facility!

Truck I reserved was not processed by on site employee to have a Mobil after hours pick up. I had to take a smaller size truck, which caused me more trips more miles and more gas. Not a single light on the back of the truck was working. Road side assist took over 5,5 hours! The lights were still not properly fixed. I could use head lights or tail lights, but not both at the same time. There for I could not drive the truck after dark. The truck was a huge mess, old paperwork and debris everywhere. The truck is not in very good driving order.

The staff was wonderful! Sarah was so helpful and really knows her stuff! However, when I removed my stuff from my unit, I found MULTIPLE German cockroaches in my boxes. Completely unacceptable. I will most likely have to hire an exterminator to spray my brand new apartment now. Disappointing.

Walked into my storage unit with rat poop, trash, some sort of urine on the floor, and belongings still in the unit. Spoke with the gentleman in the office, he handed me a broom, told me to sweep it out myself and put the belongings in the hallway. After that, I waited on hold for an hour to get this issue resolved and nothing has been done to reimburse me for this treatment. I spent over $1 000 with this organization and this is not the way a business should be ran.

Teillo was very.helpful in showing us the options and demonstrating the security features. The facility is clean, climate controlled and close to home. Earlier this year they were fully booked so, while we would have preferred a larger unit, we were glad they had a unit available.

Gave me a unit already assigned to another customer and complained when I asked him to find me another unit that wasn't occupied saying this wasn't even his job. Then states he gave me my $100 deposit back in cash but I didn't receive my deposit back I'm not very happy with this location and I'm looking to relocate ASAP because I feel my items in this location isn't safe

Had issues when I went to get the truck, two locations vehicles weren’t returned so I called uhaul myself and they located a truck and finally satisfied, since I had movers waited to load it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful for my first time renting a storage unit. They made the move in process smooth. The facility has several layers of security; I feel very safe keeping my belongings stored here. My only complaint is the location. There is a heavy flow of traffic from people cutting through the U-Haul parking lot, where I unload my belongings, to get to the Kroger next door. This is the only part that makes me feel unsafe while I'm unloading, but I feel like my belongings are safe once they are in the storage unit.

I went and talked with the manager of the facility Cindy Backus OMG Cindy was so understanding and worked to help me resolve the issue Cindy was so compassionate with me very professional at the same time The encounter I had experienced with Cindy has truly restored my faith in human kindness and concern for another person person's situation she (Cindy) is truly an angel her on earth there's so many word to describe her. Every thing 9f ours was covered in mouse droppings! And the 1st night in our new house we had a mouse in our bed! Went and bought a trap and caught it! Never have had an issue with the nasty things and hope there isn't more! Never will use storage again!!!

Too expensive and raised rate every year for no reason. Found mouse poop in my storage unit when I was emptying it out so pest patrol is lacking for that rate increase we had to pay every year. My apartment I had 5 years ago did not have a mouse problem so it came from U-Haul.
