DOROTHY SMITHI called a different location and was told the 10ft truck did not come with a ramp but when I visited the florin rd location I saw that at least 2 of there 10ft trucks had the ramp. I had already made the reservation for the 15ft truck because of the misinformation I was given by an Elk Grove location. I am glad I went to the florin rd location all the employees I interacted with were kind and helpful

I hope the person who got the truck next at least got a half of tank of gas. Also only one staff member was working with a line of 15 people. I felt really bad for him. I think with the ridiculous fees charged more staff could be hired.

Dawn GrayAll of the cars at this location had their gas tanks open and it seems the gas was siphoned. The truck I rented was not even at this location and I still got charged for the vehicle!! They claimed I drove this vehicle and they forged my signature on the paperwork. NEVER did I receive the truck nor the keys, and I cancelled my reservation as soon as I realized the truck was not at this location. It is a complete scam and I will never use U-Haul again.

Nora HaleyStorage unit stayed dry and free of pests for two years, despite very very heavy rains. Great service. Gate access card always worked. Easy to get a local employee on the phone (rare!). Also, we picked up our 24ft move-out truck here, and the truck had just 8K miles on it and was clean and in good condition. We usually have good experiences with U-Haul, but this location is particularly good.

If I were going to get charge for some small cleaning fee then I should had deducted some payment for having to clean the truck when first received as well.

Miguel FloresMy experience with uhaul was pure hell for me today I rented a uhaul then I get d 1 day extension (tip) don't use a green dot card I paid 45 and green dot held 85 .anyway my car was broke down by Punjab international I didn't know what was wrong with it so I'm trying to get it fixed and I also had deliveries to make with the uhaul my car was there for 3 days and I'm stressed out so I get back to my car around 9am and around1030 a security comes up badgering my i inform him im trying to get it moved he then proceeded to call uhaul and lie and say im sleeping in the back of the truck which is an out right lie and he says he also called the police on me. Long story short a tow truck came I thought it was my tow truck man but the security called them for the uhaul truck . The tow man didn't even want to tow it because he thought the security was being insensitive. I call uhaul this man tells me what the security says and I say what makes his word better than mine he says I don't want to make this situation worse so just let the tow man take the truck because as of now you have breached your contract. WOW?! yes my stuff was still in the back but I managed to get it moved .. the truck was supposed to be back at 6 pm so my experience with uhual was not as pleasant as i would have liked it to be and i will never in my life rent trom them again nor tell my friends ir family to rent from them. Can't trust them to be on the customers side.

Karen PerkinsMake sure the employee who removes the trailer when it is returned checks it in. I received a call from a general U-haul line the next day saying the trailer hadn't been checked in. The oversight was corrected, but it was a bit unnerving to receive this call.
Mark TavianiniThe lines to pickup or return the rental equipment was a bit much. Another counter person would have eliminated 4-5 customer's frustration from waiting. Service was spot on and very helpful. Suggestion: When lines are becoming a bit long, keep the idle chit-chat to a minimum and keep lines going.

Sara ScottI was told I 30 miles were included with my truck and was charged for mileage anyway. I was told if I brought it back with a 1/4 tank I would get a refund, the person who checked it back in put it down as 1/8 instead of 1/4. I ended up getting charged extra. Never using UHaul again. I guess I'll be going to my dealership to get that tow hitch installed too.
Jose MartinezWhen the employee hands me the keys, he says oh by the way someone may have siphoned the gas out. If it's on "E" you should be able to go about five miles which should be enough to get to a gas station. I was in disbelief and he says "nothing we can do about it". Here's three tips for you geniuses - you can (1) keep a gas tank on site, (2) secure your premises so your gas doesn't get stolen and (3) maybe check the fuel level before you give someone the keys, then you could see there was a 1/4 tank anyway and you wouldn't have to give a speech that reveals how lazy you are? I'm flabbergasted that nobody could figure out those 3 basic things.

lynn kailonn | Premières impressionsThe drop off and storage experience was excellent. Now let me give you an overview of the absolute nightmare we went through after a reserved pickup. Our vehicle wasn't available. After 20 minutes of waiting in line I asked the clerk at the front counter to find out that most of the line wouldn't even get a vehicle at this location. We visited 4 other locations to run into the same issue of finding out that they didn't even have a vehicle available and could be of absolutely no help to us, despite us having a guaranteed reservation. We happened to find one location after spending hours of time, gas, and energy driving and on the phone with customer service. When the agent finally LUCKILY found a booking, which for some reason was available to same day bookings and not the hundreds of other people who were waiting in all the lineups at the store, it was still 3 hours from when we had called. Our 11AM "guaranteed" booking turned into a 4:30PM nightmare booking. We finally picked up our truck. In the sketchiest street I have ever seen in Los Angeles. We nearly missed our flight and if we hadn't gone through the trouble of doing your company's job of actually finding a vehicle we had RESERVED, we would have over extended our lease for the apartment we were moving out of, and completely missed our flights. There was no remorse or empathy from any of your agents, rather an extremely stressful day.

HE NEEDS TO BE DEMOTED IN MY OPINION. NOT ABLE TO SPELL CORRECTLY ON THE EVICTION LETTER HE HAD PROVIDED FOR ME. I DID REQUEST HIM TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE OWNER OF BUSINESS NAME AND PHONE NUMBER, HE REFUSED TO GIVE THAT INFORMATION TO ME AND BECAME HOSTILE TOWARD ME. I DIDN'T APPRECIATE HOW HE APPROACHED ME AND HANDLE THE MATTER WITH ME AS A CUSTOMER. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOUR COMPANY EVER AGAIN AND I DID REMOVE MYSELF OFF THE PREMISES THE NEXT FOLLOWING DAY. I advise the company should at least have 2 worker on sunday so that Victor can at least a have break, poor guy was running around doing everything himself with no help. He deserves a raise.
james ly | Premières impressionsThe worse weekend ever. I was there four days in a row. Friday, find out they cut my storage lock and replace it. But, when asked why, one could tell me. Saturday, wasted a lot of time because Victor doesn't know how to communicate. Ordered a Ubox and truck. But failed to tell me I had to pull my own Ubox to my storage. When specifically ask them to drop it at my storage unit 603 when I placeed my reservation. So I wasted 2 hours thinking they were going to drop it off. To find out after asking 3 times when was they going to bring it. Then I wasted another 30 minutes trying to get my U-Box. In which Victor try to charge me for the trailer that the U-box was on. After my U-Box was all filled and ready to go. Because of the 2 and half hour delay the 4 hours I rented the truck for ended up being 24 hours with miles that I didn't plan on paying for. Because we didn't finish until 6:15 p.m. Mind you all my reservations was for 12 p.m. truck was reserved from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Top it off my U-Box sat in an open space in the parking lot in front of the office for 2 days. It was supposed to be picked up and transported to Arden on Sunday the 1st. The next day. When I went back on Monday it was still there and there was no information on my U-Box being picked up at all. Call Chris Trudell with No response. After Isaiah made several calls he was able to help me and get my U-Box where it needed to go. (Arden) Honestly, If it wasn't for Isaiah I would have lost it!! He went above and beyond for me to make sure I was taken care of.
