I had been with U-Haul since 1991 never had a problem on April 2 2024, I notice my unit was broken into. The manager now was not very helpful. I had to get a police report and I reported to Corporate. My treatment with her was not pleasant and I was already upset that I was violated after all these years .

This was my 3rd time renting from u-haul. The experience at this site wasn't as good as the others I rented from and I won't rent from this location again. I was scheduled to pick up my rental at 2:30pm. I was late and they were good enough not to cancel the reservation…so I picked up the rental at 3:30. The place was small, and I had to be buzzed in during business hours. My biggest compliant is that I was charged extra for bringing my rental back late at 3:30… apparently they didn't adjust my pickup time, and they still expected it back at 2:30. The estimated charge at pickup was $224 but I ended up paying $275 at drop off.

The temper controlled storage area was kept bug free and theft free. The only beef I had was there should be a light inside the storage and a bathroom near by.

These guys are the best. Keon called me the day before to confirm the details of the move and called the morning of to let me know they were on the way. Very professional, nice and moved me quickly.

The staff was very professional, courteous, and helpful. The storage experience was not do good. The unit had been infested with rats and sustained some water damage that had nothing to do with the staff. The experience with the insurance company to recover for damages was a less than favorable. The insurance requested a picture of the actual water coming from the ceiling. If I could take the staff and move them to another facility I would rent use the storage again otherwise not a chance.

We have used U-Haul a plethora of times due to having a furniture business but I have never had a bad experience until yesterday. Your representative at the location was unhelpful and rude. She acted as though I was an inconvenience for her. I used the mobile reservation but was having issues with it she said she could not help me but after 15 mins of waiting in the lobby she decided she would finally help.

I drove the cargo van 17 miles and it took $9 of gas to fill it up. It was not full when I got it unless the van gets 5 miles to the gal.

You need to be able to return the truck when finish and be able to return to a closer location instead of bringing it back to same location.the guy would take my discount because he didn't know how to apply it and charge me 50 for cleaning fee when I brought it back cleam.

The location was convenient to where my sister lived, so access was important. Items were stored in climate controlled space which was very well lit and also a relief when outdoor temperatures were scorching. Thr unit was rented for several years without anyonr visiting and when I opened it NOTHING was damaged or missing. Sadly, my sister died and the unit was no longer needed. Based in my experience, I would highly recommend the Hulen location.

I have never had such a hard time picking up a truck. I didn't know that I had to pick up the truck at the exact time of my reservation. I've never had an issue before when it's all done through my phone. I don't go inside I log in, fill out info, take pics, and leave. This time I pulled up and it said my reservations had been cancelled. After 20 minutes of getting the run around on the phone, I was startled by a knock on the window. The person working told me that If I needed to rent a truck I better hurry before they closed. I'm not too fond of contact-to-contact, which was why I uploaded and paid for everything from the app. I had to go inside and do it all over again. I recently rented a truck from Home Depot. It was new. It had so many updated features. It also had a back up camera. This truck had over 131 000 miles on it. The seats were torn up. The AC didn't work well, The steering well was sticky. It felt like there were no shocks. It was nothing like my recent Home Depot rental. I do no recommend this location or their trucks!

Everything was great except for the lady on the front desk she was kind of rude when she talks., she make me feel like a was stupid, I wanted to said my address all loud when she can see it in my driver’s license.

Scheduled an appointment for pickup at 3 and vehicle was ready. James was very nice and helpful. There was one issue with the mileage. The mileage stated something different on the form then what the vehicle had. Stated this to James and he stated he would change it. When I dropped off the vehicle, I inquired about the mileage being corrected and James stated yes, and would receive an email with the invoice. I never received an email, but did look on the app at the invoice and the mileage was never corrected. Tried to contact the location three times and no one answered, and automatically sent me to the 1-800 customer service, and requested a call back. Amber, the customer service rep, called and I explained the issue and she corrected it. It was a small inconvenience that I had to call someone else after I verified multiply times with the store that it was corrected, and still wasn't. But over all a good experience

At some point during my storage (at least 10 years) there was flooding and some of my belongings were destroyed. Possibly even multiple flooding events. There appears to be a drain channel of some kind in the back of the storage unit so it seems that flooding is expected…? I would not recommend because for the continuous rent price increases- you should not have to deal with regular flooding.

Small location couldn't handle mobile check in had to wait an hour after I arrived 9:15 and my appointment time was pretty much a waste 9:30 am didn't drive out until 10:15. Couldn't get my truck until the attendant dealt with a total of four people - there is not enough space to park trucks outside of storage facility and he was alone so could not leave his office until everyone dealt with…polite but very inefficient

James was beyond upbeat a helpful. Although he had issues with getting our gate code to work correctly, he was still accommodating, pleasant, and energetic. We were patient with him. Eventually we got it to work after a system reboot. James is a rockstar…love his personality!!!

Scheduling needs to do better by contact customers and more equipment should be added in North Texas. Every customer service representative stated "North Texas is short of equipment". Texas is the number one place to move to. That alone should tell uhaul that they need to ramp the equipment for no one get rescheduled 3 times and at the very last time. It's unprofessional and we're just expected to take a "I'm sorry". My next move I will NOT use uhaul anymore. It's sad because I've you've uhaul for over 15 years. My business and move will just go else where.

The entire experience of this rental was fantastic - can't think of any ways to make improvements. The vehicle had a full tank of gas, which made me REAL happy, as it's frustrating renting a vehicle that needs fuel before I can even start my trip. The owner/manager was on top of every aspect of this rental. She had everything ready for me when I picked up the vehicle and when I dropped it off. An extremely positive experience!

When I picked up the van, I had a pleasant customer service experience but when I dropped the van off the customer service experience was horrible. The door was locked even though it was 9 am. When the male representations opened the door he walked out without saying hello or I'll be with you in second. I did notice he greeted the white male customer. Also when I inquired about something on my receipt he raised his voice at me. in a confrontational and rude tone. My husband also experienced this rude behavior a few weeks ago when he rented from the same man. Because of this behavior I would not recommend anyone else to visit this location.

Everything was great I really did appreciate the friendly reminder Calls and messages I received on making my monthly payment sometimes I get caught up in my day-to-day business and let the payment slip my mind with these reminders it helps me make the payments needed. Definitely will share the Great Service with Friends family and others.  Did have a concern , notice quite a few people hanging out in their storage buildings for quite a long time look like they were trying to live in there. ?

The man checking me in was very short with me. He was helpful, but not friendly. Probably because it was 6:40. He said if I would've come in 4 min later he wouldn't have checked me in. He then told me how they start closing at 6:30, 6:45 no more check-ins because at 7 they close. He was not real pleasant/friendly. I may have caught him at a bad time- almost closing. The facility was clean.

My unit was ransacked badly and all my valuables stolen, the management will not share the information contained in their system with me, UHaul corporate won't help in anyway, had to of been an inside job, because I had beautiful heavy pieces of furniture in there, placed at the back and a lot of time would of been needed to get all those pieces out. Massive disappointment and dissatisfaction with UHaul at this point!! My items were irreplaceable 100 %

Everything about the facility was excellent (staff, availability, cleanliness, etc.), however the location and entry were a little rough getting a 26 foot truck and car hauler into. I was forced to download the car hauler offsite just to access the gate.

My Items in storage 62 was totally destroyed by water every time it rain this storage building will flood I paid for insurance on this storage unit for 2 years and no one is trying to help by replacing the items that was damaged and destroyed. I have called the adjuster but NO reply.

Tracy Hugle is GREAT !! Such a sweet , professional, well suited leader of this establishment. Anything I wasn't sure about or any request I may have had she was MORE than willing to help and was HAPPY about doing so. From her restrooms, to her office to the truck rental and storages all were VERY CLEAN and had a lovely FRAGRANCE! I am definitely referring plenty of my friends business companions and family to her property even if its just for a box or a roll of tape , she has my VOTE***** 5 STARS

It started out great when we rented several years ago. But as the management changed, the service went downhill. At the last encounter, even getting them to move their own U-Haul trucks out of the way so I could access my unit was an imposition. In fact they didn't even move enough so I could successfully access the unit without parking in the middle of the way blocking the traffic for other people. This is coupled with a terrible entrance capability. The driveway is very short in front of the gate, causing a backup onto the street in some cases. Also they kept changing the way you get in without notifying anyone. First I had a code. Then it was a card. And now my card didn't even work last time I was there and I was told it doesn't work. So I still have no idea how you get in. Fortunately I would always go in the office was open so it wasn't a huge imposition. However if I had gone after hours I would have not been able to access my unit. Also I was charged several times for a credit card late fees due to their inability to charge a card that had thousands of dollars of space on it. and instead of being friendly for someone who had stayed there for years and spent upwards of $10 000 on storage units they were accusatory and blamed me for their problem. Though after a while magically the problem stopped happening. So no I can't recommend this place. It was once a very well run facility and now it's just a very poorly run facility. And what makes it worse is they keep hiking up the price without adding additional services or any other explanation as to why the price increases. Especially for customers like me who had spent almost a decade there you'd think they could be able to come up with better pricing for me. But they were not the kind of people that you could talk to anymore. On top of that, there was a huge rat problem. We didn't store any food or consumables in our unit. It was all furniture and equipment and the like. However there was rat poop everywhere. I had never seen so much rat poop in one area ever. I don't think they are adequately controlling the rat population at that storage facility. In any case we've moved out and will never ever go there again nor ever recommended to anyone.

The site manager is pathetic. We experienced a roof leak in our unit. She could not have been any more indifferent to our situation. We were given nothing but excuses, poor instructions and ultimately lied to trying to grant access to our unit for repair. I am a long time UHaul customer. Based on this experience, I will look at all options going forward. This experience did not meet my expectations. UHaul can hire better employees.

Liked facility better when they had 24 hr access . Staff needs better comunication with repair reps so they can be aware of units that are avaliable for rent. Situation solved by employee going to unit and seeing it had been repaired and was available for rent as published online.

I had to hire lock smith to destroy my key lock before I could Move out my stuff. My unit was next to AC water dripping and the entrance of the door was all watery. The key would not open. Due to rusty inside the lock.

Getting the unit rented online as a first month free for renting a truck was quick and easy. Instructions came on getting in, no problem, and lock with key was there as told. Moved stuff into unit and on the way out stopped in at the office to talk to the person on duty to thank him for the fine way it went and to let him know I would be making several more trips to the unit and to expect a wave when I come and go.

Good service but disappointed that our 8x10 had two doors which actually made unloading more difficult. This was not clear on booking.
