i rented a Uhaul 4/4/2024. Uhaul need to have a better system in order for your customer to have the right instructions on where the location pick up is. Uhaul customer service sent me to 3 different locations. First they send me to Big c 2 in grand prairie and guy that worked there refused to assist or give me assistance at all. There were a couple of workers there drinking while on the job. Contacted customer service again and gave me wrong address to the second pick up location. It was very inconvenient for me since customer service rep are not doing their job properly. On the 3rd location I was at the right address finally, I was able to pick up the truck but the tank has no gas (empty). Uhaul employee should have a better customer service in order for the customer to be satisfied with their service. I was very troubled and upset and disappointed with the experiences I had with this company.

harold sI went to the storage facility to pay for space 9502 I did pay $127 went to go look for my car my '02 Camaro vintage 35th Anniversary and it was stolen I must say Mr Atkins and the staff did not seem surprised at all the daughter was not surprised I mean don't take your car there and put it in the storage lot especially 9502 cuz somebody's going to steal it

Nicholas WOur pickup location was changed twice due to equipment availability, and we had to go to a 4th location to get the dolly we reserved - only reasons for 4 vs 5 stars. That said sometimes companies shine the most when things don't go right. The changes in pickup location were handled professionally, the trailer pickup went well, and the 4th location was nearby our equipment pickup and they were quick and did not charge us for the dolly rental since there was an issue.
Michael CThe guy who was "helping" us back the trailer into a parking spot was so distracted by talking that he guided us right into the garage door. He also had plenty of unnecessary and inappropriate comments about the location of where we were moving to within the Dallas area.

Luekbra CI was originally scheduled for a hitch installation at your Arlington location after I spoke with someone from your customer service. I booked the installation on 10/25/23 for Reservation #: 19178796 on 11/03/23 at 5 pm. When I got there the office staff had no idea that I had a scheduled appointment. I gave them my reservation number and saw that I was scheduled and no one had contacted them. They were extremely busy and told me the manager was going to call me to re-schedule.I drove about 25 minutes to get to the location and decided I was not going to go back. So I decided to go to the uhaul located closer to my house. The folk at the MacArthur location were very helpful and scheduled me for the following morning. The only issue I had was when I went back to pick up my van after they installed the hitch, is that they were not able to close my ticket out so I was not able to pay. I had to leave my van overnight and go back the next morning to pay and check out.

Ceaira GWe had a problem with the truck not starting and ended up jump starting at ourselves and made it then the customer the person at the office and we got there was very rude made it seem like we were lying about something when why else would we have roadside assistance come out and help us out so it cost us to have to take longer with the truck than we wanted because we were trying to get everything loaded and then we kept having problems with the truck I would not recommend running a truck from this particular location they need to change the people that work there cuz they they do not speak to you properly they make it seem like they're doing you a favor and just point blank rude they tried to say that we we were the reason the battery was messed up or whatever this is about to be 2024 and the battery's been in there since February 2021 and the check engine light came on also which was it on before we pick the truck up so there was something wrong with the car and we still ended up paying over $100 to rent the truck cuz supposedly just it was just a lot of BS with this location will never rent from this location again and would not recommend that you look that you rent from this location

David LHave people taking reservations clarify every single thing they hear, because this whole experience was a nightmare and I never want to use your services again. Even the supervisors were wrong in the claims they made because your systems were not updated. It was definitely amateurish, and it proved why the costs were so cheap. I will pay more for professionalism next time.

Candice HThe facility is crowded and very busy. The folks working there courteous and professional. The guy that installed my hitch (not an easy install on a BMW X7) did a great job. They said it would take about 3 hours due to the complexity and that is about what it took them. So I am very satisfied with the job they did and would recommend to others.
Marshall SThe man practically begged me to drive the truck back to his location the next morning even I selected to return it near where I was moving to (45 minutes away!) I was nice and obliged. He also said he'd add another 55 miles to my trip in order for me to return it. There was 1/8 tank of gas in the truck. Said if I put it at 1/4 tank I'd get $14 off my bill (I spent $40 to get the tank to a 1/4!) I returned the truck the next morning , as he begged me. I forgot there was some boxes left in the back. He told me I needed to cleanse them out or I'd get charged a fee. So I cleared them out. Somehow after all that EXTRA time, money and effort I charged an extra $47 on top of the $138 + $40 for extra gas!!! I've never been screwed uhaul like this before. I will never ever use y'all again. You all should be ashamed if that's how you do your customers. I'll use Penske from now on.

Samantha EThe front desk gentleman was rude, gave attitude and unpolite. He complained that we arrived late and was cussing. The fuel needle was on red and we were asked to fill it in with a no gas station nearby. This has been our worst experienced as a company with a U-Haul franchise.
Jorge AThis location was fine, but I had originally had a reservation at a different location to pick up at 9AM. Reservation # was 98982865. I got there a little after 10 and they informed me that since I was so late, they cancelled my reservation and gave the truck to someone else. They had my phone number and email address. They could have called before they cancelled! I was on my way! Forced me to find another truck, drive further, pay more in mileage charges, and delay me over an hour. If you are going to cancel, you need to notify! I will look for another place to rent next time...

When I arrived and used the app to photograph myself and my driver's license, I had to agree to the vehicle mileage and cleanliness without having access to the vehicle (i.e. no keys). The office was opened and they gave me the keys after my remote check-in. I did confirm the odometer reading and had no other concerns.

I was not given the option, and I had to call twice to get the second day because I got confirmation for only one day in an email after I had already called once. Finally, I feel like the original rate I booked the truck was lower than what I was charged. The base rate I was charged was also lower than what I looked up online to get another quote.

No one helped me do nothing and I get charged 20$ for dropping it off after hours? What a joke …. Felt like I have been robbed with out a gun ….. can't even see a receipt where they charged me …. Just straight took out of my account …. Shame …. Decorated war veteran … and I get treated like this …. I will never use us haul again…. Going to Penske unless I get my 20$

Bobby RI had a hard time locating a truck as the first Uhaul truck I returned did not register my return in the system. Second Uhaul truck gave me a bad truck with inspection sign on when I denied that I had to visit 3 more places to get my truck. I had to drive around all day because Uhaul at mac aurther express did not check me out after 1pm its there job to do so and I had to suffer for them. The truck condition was very poor .

Patrick SI requested four days for a reservation online, went to the store, paid, thought we were good to go. I start getting calls the next day that are fucking rude. Telling me I need to bring it back now, when I know I put a four day reseravstion. The employee is very lucky I was in a decent mood, because his attitude about got him bigger problems. This was a total shit show and a joke. I will not pay extra for someone else's major fuck ups, not my problem your employees are half wits.

Humberto B | Expérience généraleAfter moving all my stuff in the unit, two weeks later my storage was broken in, handel was busted, 14-16 boxes were stolen, video camera were not to far from where unit was. When I went to report to service clerk they didn't care, didn't provide the information that needed to happen. The manager was called through video call and told me don't worry as long as you have insurance you are covered. I asked if they could secure my storage and put a new handle or move mt stuff to new storage, the manager said he would have it fixed the next day. As of today and moving out on Friday the Handel is still broken. This happened in January. I believe it was an inside job that was done and planned to take my stuff out.
