I use the storage room for only a week and I couldn't get no credit. I fell that was wrong. I told the lady I will only need it for a week and I was out of $100

JEWELINA R | Expérience généraleThe odometer was either wrong or someone read it wrong before they put the mileage in for the next customer. I drove off the lot with it showing at 133785 trusting the contract that i signed would be correct. I drove 43 miles and by the time i got Back it was at 133828 and when i checked The contract to see how full the gas tank was i noticed the numbers stated it started at 133765 which means i got Charged almost 20 miles more than what i actually Drove. I have All locations address where i drove And the gas receipt to show. My contract also states U-Haul will reimburse my gas and i got Told I'm responsible for paying for the gas w/o reimbursement.. I will not use this location again. The lady was nice but it seems like there's not much honesty in the mileage or who's actually responsible for gas.

rhonda fI been with Uhaul since 1997 and that almost 100k or more and towards the end y'all were hard to reach and then when I did reach y'all I occurred ba late fee and so of piled up over the months and I needed tio sept to clean the storage out which would have been appropriate to make up for all the times I occurred late fees because the answer service was not available. And veri by management that y'all were having phone issues so giving me til Sept would have been an offset to that issue and the fact that I been a customer for almost 30 years I feel I was screwed with the auction and now my deceased mother's thing are in the hand of someone else or thrown away.. And the fact that I live out of state and had no family to move it for me..laquita was the only one that reached out to the onsite manager but I guess she didn't have a heart...Oh well thank you for making over 100 grand on me and screwing me in the end....toodlea.

ELANA BThe truck they leased me was a death trap. The drivers side door jiggled open multiple times driving down the highway. The transmission was giving out and the truck would go from 65-70 mph to 20 spontaneously. The tires were rotten and the manager of the drop off location was shocked they let the truck leave the facility in the shape it was in. He literally said it wasn't in driving condition. Not to mention it was filthy and not full of gas.

DAVID D | Expérience généraleI have been behind on my storage before and when I call to avoid auction they work with me. Well I called and they didn't know the date of auction, finally I get a manager named Tonya on auction day and tell me that I had to have it paid in full by closing. I'm homeless, had been sleeping in car until it got repossessed and lost job. I been sleeping couch to couch. EVERYTHING I owned was in that storage and it got auctioned off for 72.00. It was enough to furnish a 3 bedroom house with ALL appliances. I even had important paperwork work with ssn numbers on it. So for some stranger to have me and my children i fo is bothersome with all the fraud going on. I we t online and updated my mailing address to get mail and it still went to the wrong address. My phone was off and couldn't get communication. Generally I have dealt with Ms LaQuetta or Ms Lily which I was told were not there but the email I got informing me of auctioned off items had tbe d address and Ms LaQuetta name signed. I just wish they would have worked with me like they were doing in the past

The only negative I experienced was not being able to make partial payments after being charged super high late fees in the first few months of my storage use. It felt as though I was being taken advantage of with the $30 late fees during a global pandemic in which everyone was suffering financially.

I understand people should not be throwing out furniture however one of my pictures broke so I had a broken glass in a box, what was I supposed to do with it? I do not think it is reasonable to expect people to take their garbage and find somewhere else to throw it out. I have a storage unit because I do not have an apartment.
