Your app. It's really convenient to be able to do the check in (or out) yourself, but not if the app don't work as it should. Thankfully the friendly receptionist, Charlize, was there to help.

paul nCalled for roadside assistance due to trailer vibration sent a technician with no tools or equipment who did a very brief visual inspection and left. Was forced to drive with an unsafe piece of equipment to return or face a massive charge.

ION FThe trailer was fantastic (seemed new, in great condition and well appointed), and the check-in process went well and team were responsive and well organized. However, I had dissatisfaction with how my original reservation (with Warden) was not honoured and all they did was put me in contact with Kingston Road, where I was charged three times as much to return it to the first location - even though I had stressed the return was not where I had challenges and nobody indicated a 'one way' (to a location 20 mins away) was THREE times the cost. Plus the reservation wasn't updated and I couldn't return it via the app and then had to speak with multiple locations the next day.

Kerry LI rented both a truck and an appliance dolly online. When I was ready for pick up the dolly was not available. I placed the order a week in advance and was only notified the day of pick up that the dolly was not available. We needed to find a different location with both items in stock. Delaying our move and causing undue stress.

ELIANA II went there bright and early was met cheerily by a lovely lady named Charlize. She was great to deal with and promptly got all the equipment I rented to go along with the truck. The truck was clean and ran well. I would be happy to go back and deal with this location again!
Jourdain PIce was built up around the wheels and the driving lights were not working on the trailer, but I had no choice but to use it. Staff were courteous and nice. Helpful.

John DThe whole experience was a very positive one except for the first day I tried to start the vehicle the battery would not turn the engine over. Thankfully I had the insurance and they promptly had a serviceman come and get the vehicle going for me. Overall it was the Flawless transaction. I thank U-Haul for helping us get through this difficult situation and I thank all the Associates at the Kingston Road location for being understanding and working with me to complete this move with as little as possible aggravation.

Bradshaw BPrcing, you lewer people in with the $19,95 special, I could have gone to any other rental place and got a truck for 1/2 the price. The lower truck rate is mde up in the mileage charges. In my case the mileage charge was 55 % of the cost

John L | Expérience généraleThe customer service representatives were very friendly at the site, but this thing of having to pay extra to have more access to your storage locker is total BS. There should be one price only for 24 hour access, like every other major storage facility that I've seen. The $140 I had to shell out for that rickety locker that I got was already too much, and now I have to pay more if I want to access my locker after hours? C'mon guys, Uhaul can do better than that.

IAN P | Premières impressionsFrom the very start I had major issues, a very unfriendly girl at the front desk set up my account. It took her 45 mins to get everything correct, however even after this I found my 4 digit entry pin was 5 digits and was a generic 12345! She obviously couldn't be bothered to set up a paid for service on the system. I came back the following day to have this looked into by two other employees, it took 9 hours to solve the simple problem and get me after hours access. The main entrance to the storage units were a health and safety violation on a daily basis, to the extent of having to physically move large heavy fed ex boxes out of the way every time I needed access to my unit. This location (for a storage facility) clearly has zero storage for the 10s & 10s of toe bars and heavy boxes that are delivered multiple times per day. They are constantly blocking the fire exits and main walkway to all units. This is clearly in breach of all fire/health and safety codes. For a customer to have to move heavy boxes and toe bars out of harms way to gain access is ridiculous. My unit itself was ok but had zero lighting within, not even the hallway lighting could come in overtop as the walls were to the celling. I purchased my own lock from a local store because the lady that set up the account didn't state any difference, only to find weeks later I had to purchase a U hall lock because mine wasn't "fit for purpose" All in all my experience at the location is a 0 out of 5 I wouldn't recommend to anyone and I'd appreciate some kind of compensation towards my overpriced rental. On a more positive note there were a couple of staff members who were polite and expressed their apologies for the inconvenience of the mess. They also mentioned that the first girl I dealt with was let go. The entrance blocking and lighting both need to be urgently rectified for obvious health and safety concerns. I noticed multiple cameras within the storage entrance so any administrator should be able to monitor this on a daily basis.
