The gas pedal was really jerky, so the truck lurched every time you put your foot on the gas, and the brakes were nearly shot too - I had to put them nearly all the way to the floor to get the truck to stop. On the other hand, the staff were very nice and respectful.

The staff was great, everything was as i expected. I would rent from this location as well. As an FYI, the other U-Haul location in Normal, IL actually set everything up via their computer system. And made sure everything was set at the Main St. location the next day.

Took almost 5 hours for a hitch installment/wiring. Also my appointment was originally scheduled for 3/1. Took day off work. Got there only to be told they put me down for 3/11. Had to take another day off work. Friendly staff tho. Uhaul sent me the wrong wiring but luckily they had the one i needed at the store.

Truck had transmission problems and couldn't switch 1st to 2nd. It just kept revving the engine until you got to 25 mph. Engine light came in after 1st 50 miles. Brakes were squealing.

The staff was more than great. I unexpectedly needed a storage unit as I had rented a truck from you for a move from out of state, and there wasn't enough room in my temporary storage for all of my furniture. I called and asked if there was an available first floor unit, and there was. The man volunteered that they were open until 7pm. When I got there it was obvious they were expecting me. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The showed me to the very clean unit and how to use the lock. I could not have asked for a better experience! They treated everyone in the store and on the phone with the same courtesy. 5+ stars!

Requested an appliance dolly when I reserved truck but was not provided when I picked up truck. Store was closed so could not get one. Had issue with pick up on the app but customer service was quick and able to resolve problem.

The person checking out the equipment could have been a little nicer. She pulled the truck around then as I was talking to the person who took me she just left the truck there. I went in and asked if I was okay to take it. She just said yes and said she didn't see me? I was a car length away talking to a person in the car.

Had a slight change in the check in process, after hours. Not sure if the APP was an issue on taking phone photos or my phone, since ever time I rotated the phone, the photos were reset. (took me a while to figure that our.) but overall, rental and equipment worked great.

I picked up yhe box truck and drove approximately 1 mile. I stopped to get gas. When I git back in rhea truck, no engine turnover or lights,etc. I called uhsul dir assistance. I was told he had customer and could only do one thing at a time and to call roadside assistance. I ended upbilled 78 for finding the battery cable was loose. The truck was faulty and I had to pay the cost. I will not use uhaul again and will not endorse this specific uhaul.

The o lyrics thing that hasn't been taking care of. Was my experience rental. I had exhauste fumes inside of cab. Took it to get it checked. Auto zones diagnostic as a catalytic converter needed replaced. 3 days sick falling asleep at the wheel and rest areas. Road side service told me yo get a hotel they would be out in the morning. Morning came roadside said there was no reason to have them come out and yo keep going. Couldn't take the fumes anymore. Stopped at mechanic. He wrote up a paper said the Doghousing was not latched or sealed. I ending up sick. Can't get a lawyer to take the case because t would cost me too much. I spent 1000 on gas to go 500 miles. 745 extra on rental on a bigger truck than I ordered. All I want is to be remebursted on, food, gas. Hotels, and rental for the extra days it took me to get from Arkansas to Illinois. Should only taking me 12 hours Took me 3 days because of not being able to drive sick. Call me plz 501 256 6439. Robin Cochran. Otherwise I will be forced to take this matter to the news channels from Illinois to Arkansas.

I have no problems with the storage facility and have been happy with the service. However the I had problems with the online service to automatically bill for storage every month. I would plug in the information, and it would not save it. First month, was late with payment because it did not save it. Next month I set a reminder to check, and had to input the information again. Finally with the third month it ran as it was supposed to. Frustrating.

We had a dead rat in our storage unit and many bugs including roaches. I am sure the rat was from the construction site across the street and he WAS dead but it was GROSS. The gentleman working the day we checked out was very kind and dealt with the rat but it was extremely unpleasant.

Matt the manager was very degrading every single time he spoke to me. I had a difficult time maintaining my storage unit and let him know that I was doing the best I could. The conversations were rude and demanding, and I felt very anxious trying to speak with him regarding my past due bill only due to the pandemic. His service was unprofessional, untimely, his staff was the same. I never write negative reviews but just the thought of having to deal with him one more time is why I just gave up on my stuff.
