A knife was in his hostler, I asked him to leave immediately else I am calling police. He ran away. That's very unsafe situation. U-Haul should keep a check on their parking please.

I really dont feel happy about it and this is a stark contrast to my previous experience. I expected much better and I have had really nice experiences with some of the staff at this location in my previous visit. I guess I am just disappointed.

gloria mI rented a storage for about 3 months.. I rented a 26 foot truck to go to Rogers Ville NB from Moncton NB. I had Excellent service, But the service for the rental of the 15 foot truck to Rogersville from Moncton yesterday was terrible.
DIANE Gtoo much snow in the open parking from where I took it. I think you can learn and be inspired from the airport runway, where the snow is cleared for take-off and landing, similarly, while renting, it doesn't take much to clear snow or sprinkle some salt when you park it there for pick-up!

Should have rings part way up the sides of the ramp preferably on vertically, sliding, adjustable hooks. Even having a horizontal, metal strip part way up the trailer where one can attach a come-along hook is helpful,

If a gym can be 24/7 I would think uhual storage could be. It makes things extreamly inconvenient to try and get things done before 7pm. Dave EThe only reason they get one star is for the maintenance guy who was working and had to come and open the door for me on the back because it was frozen solid. The truck was honest to god a piece of shit that shouldn't be on the road anymore. If I shook anymore from the driving my internal organs may have shook out of my body. I also had to do CPR multiple times on the steering wheel to get the truck to actually start. Thought I was going to rip the steering wheel off because I was told to "give it a little shake" ( it needed a lot more than a shake) Honestly if you found a ravine somewhere you should consider driving this truck into it with the employee who was at the counter in the back of it. ( don't kill her though, she may be cranky and deserves to be treated awful by customers but she doesn't deserve to die) Awful experience. Never again. Had to learn that lesson the hard way. Whoever was working on the maintenance again a shout out to you. You're the one decent employee there who has to freeze outside all day. The only positive part of this experience was you. Everyone else should consider a career or attitude change. Consider renting a pack mule or anything else to move before you rent something from this place. Save your money and time.

That location does not live up to the usual excellent service I've been given by other locations in the past.

My son arrived at the uhaul building at 7:10 pm and was not allowed access and he had his apartment on and in his truck and his buddy's truck. He spoke to someone there and was told that they closed at 7 and was not allowed in. We had to scramble and find alternate arrangements for his belongings at 7 pm after we paid for the storage unit that we now will not use as we were denied access. NOT IMPRESSED!

I was informed this is due to some sort of error with the online site. However, I would have expected to be contacted if this unit was not available considering there was at least a week and a half between when the reservation was made to check in. The customer service rep checked me into an interior unit on the second level. After I considered what I needed to store I decided this was not a suitable unit and returned the next day to cancel the unit. Both days the customer service reps were pleasant and helpful. Both visits I encountered line ups of about 15mins and it would be nice to have another person helping serve customers at the desk or perhaps someone taking people just dropping off after their rental. I was also disappointed that the drive up units were just in the parking lot and not in a secure fenced in location.

The no refund policy should have been mentioned when I payed online. It was very sneaky. There weren't enough carts so moving my stuff made it very challenging. When I showed up in person they used the address on my ID that I told them wasn't current and told them not to use it. Every message I got after that had the incorrect address despite repeated attempts to change it. -Didn't apply the insurance fee for some time, then my bill suddenly increased, and changed by dollars for awhile. -Entered incorrect information for my second contact -Alarm went off a number of times despite the fact that I was signed in -Received a phone call about a commercial shipment that had arrived for me (I did not have a business account, was expecting no such shipment, and was completely baffled). The caller left a message (my voice mail has my name) and when I returned the call they insisted at least once it was my shipment. I have no idea how they even got my number for it. -Was not informed about the switch to entry cards instead of a password. -Rodent deterrent didn't seem effective - there were a lot of mouse droppings (no food in storage room). -Rented a van and an appliance dolly to move - photos of van for damage were old, key wasn't with the van like it was supposed to be, van was not moved to the area it was supposed to be in, and dolly was not with it. Employees corrected it quickly when I reported it, which was great. But maybe if this site isn't going to pay attention to details and promises from online reservations, perhaps they shouldn't offer them at this location? I never knew what was going on, and the employees never seemed to know either. I gave up trying to contact them as things wouldn't get changed, people would be surprised I didn't know the thing they didn't tell me, and everyone was often unapologetic about errors. They fixed them quickly enough (so long as it wasn't my address and related info).

The musty smell hits you as soon as you open the door to the indoor storage units. We'd recommend U-Haul to our friends however we'll warn them that their belongings will smell.

The young guy working was quite rude. Did not want to give me a free month even though I had booked it that way online and the manager had approved it earlier in the day. Finally agreed after an employee that was there in the morning as well told him I was telling the truth. When he looked into why I didn't have access he discovered that the person in the morning didn't actually properly set up the card. They had done it as though I moved out instead of moved in. A lot of back and forth and some staff not seeking to really know what they were doing. Unit itself was clean and easy to access.

I went to access the locker and no one could find the booking - the reference number was not found - even though I had email confirmation. Luckily there was another 10x10 locker so I booked it myself. While I was there - waiting in line to be served - there were at least 4 other people who were trying to get trucks - they booked on line and had confirmation - but their trucks were no longer available. One lady was moving to BC / had to load up her house that day. She was in tears! Everything seemed soooooo disorganized - booking were lost - not available - it was chaos!!!! The staff were calm and good but it was crazy with people screaming and unhappy. You need to look at your system to tighten up inventory and demand. So people don't arrive expecting what they booked and have to leave with nothing.

Jean-Paul G | Expérience généraleWhen I first booked my uhaul, the lady was rude. After arriving to Mtn Road, the young gentleman made up for it- he was very helpful. And when I checked out, the young girl was polite and efficient. But in between check in/out was not great. Door on unit would not stay open, was never fixed when asked. I requested a smaller unit months ago and was never provided any follow up to advise if one came available. When I failed to lock my unit properly, the staff put a large sticker on the unit advising everyone who walked by my door was open but failed to email or call me directly to go fix my lock. When Covid caused a lock down in Moncton for a few weeks, and only essential people could go into Moncton, UHaul manager Corey refused to honor an extension equivilent so I could get my unit cleaned out, instead causing me to pay another full month. Yes, he did give an extra three days so I could have the opportunity to rush into Moncton as soon as the city reopened. But those three days did not give me back a weekend. And even now, masks mandatory, there were people in and out without masks, loitering in front of door without mask, and no entrance/exot set up going into lockers to minimize crossover of traffic. Guess the poor attitude of the management is what brings this rating down.

Jennifer M | Online Move InThe storage facility alarm was incorrectly going off every 5-10 mins while we were there - how does the staff deal with that every day?! The check in/check out process took way too long. We were waiting in line for almost 20 mins to speak to an agent, then another 20 mins to rent the locker. Same when we were checking out - what a waste of 40 mins when we had so much to do! The automatic door didn't work (we had to pry open a door every time you want to go in or out of the facility). We did rent a truck to move out of the storage locker. The uhaul truck we rented was given to us its an empty tank (no gas - we had to stop and fuel up after moving and packing all day - this was the icing on the crap cake we had to deal with all day and just beyond annoying) The staff were fantastic, and really went above and beyond, but based on the other inconveniences, cannot give a higher rating. Staff is awesome, Uhaul needs to understand moving and storing is frustrating and needs to speed up the check in/check out process.

Our truck and storage was booked 3 weeks in advance and when we got there they did not have the size unit we booked or the floor level we were told they booked for us. They did agree, after me pushing for it, to give us 2 units for the cost of our unit we had booked. When we go up to the units, one is avail the other has a lock on it, so back down, lineup again to make this right. Cory served me this time and was amazing, he walked me to the unit showed me how to access the storage after hours basically went thru everything, which none of it was done by the first guy....it is a great facility but very unorganized. In the end Cory made it right but for the money you pay for these services you need more staff and more training,
