The drop-off location was fine, other than when I mentioned that I gave you back a vehicle with more gas than when I picked it up, the response was "We don't give rebates on gas". This is frankly, unacceptable. If your company isn't going to be responsible enough to fill up a tank or have the equipment in the vehicle, why am I on the hook for giving you free gas?

Have extra set of keys. During moves things can be misplaced. Should only have to pay for an extra key not the whole lock. And just switch up the padlocks frequently which shouldn't take any time at all in their daily tasks. Just a suggestion.

Was mislead about pricing and value that was given…mostly about KM to return location that was 4 hrs away further than originally budgeted. I was assured enough extra mileage was included…and it was not and costed me an extra $150…disappointing

We use U-haul all the time. 175 Mcphillips St location. I reserve the truck on line and when I go to pick the truck up they generally have everything ready to go. "Hiccups" I call them do happen but Kista and her team are very professional and helpful to work things out.

I reserved a truck and car hauler about 10 days in advance of pickup. I flew into Winnipeg to drive the truck to Edmonton. The day before pickup I was told that no depot in Winnipeg had the truck and car hauler in the same location. I had to take a $40 taxi to a depot across the city to get the truck, then drive it back across the city to a depot right by the airport for the car hauler. Surprisingly, that depot had at least a dozen trucks of all sizes sitting there. I find this an example of poor logistics on U Hauls part, creating unnecessary expense and wasted time for me to shuttle their equipment around at my expense and time.

Have cleaner exterior & ice free mirrors /windows. Spent time trying to warm up the older uhaul van & scrapping the windows & side mirrors. After being fed up I finally just asked for the newer/cleaner one.

I don't think customers have a choice. The manager was not in the premises and difficult to contact by phone. She ordered us to return the equipment to Winnipeg even tho we were located in Portage la Prairie, a few blocks from the local U-Haul. Incredibly disrespectful and inconsiderate.

One of the 6 pads we rented had a large wet and oily "grease" patch that was folded up inside. Fortunately we were able to use the other 5 pads. Staff were friendly and helpful. The trailer was fine.

No one pick up the phone during office time. No one reply the email I called in to cancel the storage before the due date to avoid to pay another month. However, the staff cancelled my storage a week later, now Uhaul is charging me another month of storage fee plus late fee. I am very unhappy with this.

Communications about billing was very poorly conducted I called to cancel over the phone a few times with no answer to this location. No message responses Called main office in which they confirmed they cancelled unit Got another call this week after already cancelled stating they need payment . Informed person calling that I already cancelled with main office Totally lack of coordinated access. For this reason will not access this location again I do share though on a late evening a young man was present and was very helpful with me.

Climate control didn't seem very good. The steel footings for my east wall were rusty. I wouldn't store any furniture I cared about in that locker. Separately: I slipped and fell outside the office door when I came to do my move out, and the whole parking lot was pretty icy. Maybe throw some gravel or sand down. On the plus side, all the admin stuff was easy and the staff were good in person and on the phone.

Worker I was dealing with messed up every step of the way. She assigned the wrong unit and we were trying to enter with our code but it wouldnt let us. We go back to tell her, she "fixes" it so we walk all the way over to try to enter our storage unit with our code... doesnt work. we walk all the way back again to tell her its still not working, she says she will meet us over there. Okay so now she tells us its not working cause she assigned the wrong unit so thats why the door wasnt unlocking. now i receive an email saying our rent is past due and im being charged a late fee... we dealt with her only two days ago.. paid for the storage unit that same day. So im confused as to why im being charged double rent for one month? I guess she must have messed up again.

I was very grateful to find a storage unit so close to home, it was one of the last one's left. The manager was excellent to deal with, she went above and beyond to meet needs and staff were friendly. The only thing that I was concerned with was when I moved out the lights in the storage facility were out, and it was hard to see in my storage locker, also when I went in to sign papers for my move out the facility was left unattended and staff were all outside with customers waiting inside for service. I don't think the store should have been left unattended as someone could have stolen something and customers were wondering where staff were, it was very unprofessional on their part. Otherwise, everything else was great!

It took me 2 days to get storage and it was not ready and not clean. I waisted so much time on Friday and Tarik said everything OK on Friday and he didn't rent it to me, I came on Saturday and Dave have no info in the computer. Its very frustrated, and anointing and after that my unit not clean and not ready.

The space was not secure nor safe. Regularly there were people gathered (blocking) the halls chopping bikes, obviously stolen. Did not feel safe entering to access my unit. Garbage and burned wires (from collecting copper) were left in the parking lot along with garbage and other debris. Would not recommend this location.

If I could rate this as 0 stars I definitely would. We put our sectional up for sale as the storage fees are ridiculous. The buyer could not pick up the sectional up until 4 days into a new month I told there was no refund for the remaining days of the month that we weren't using the unit. Therefore, they can rent out that unit and make almost double on it in 1 month. There was no light in that unit plus the ceiling looked like it was starting to fall in guess that's why there no light in it. I will never rent a storage unit from uhaul again and I will also not refer anyone to use uhaul. I was not shown how to check in or check out so I had no clue how to even get into the uni someone else had to show me.

The lot was a little crowded with u-haul vehicles, as I tried to pull away with my truck and trailer after emptying my locker, I had to get out and physically move a small u-haul utility trailer from blocking my exit. No big deal, but leaving room to enter and exit is a good idea! Otherwise very good service.

The outside door for access to the storage hallway was damaged and could not gain access. The U-haul representative had to go around and open the door from the inside. She indicated that they would have there repair personnel repair it soon. I have not been back yet to check if it was repaired.

When I made the reservation the person I spoke to said a 5x10 would be big enough for my stuff that was on a 20 ft truck ... it wasn't. Luckily the person at McPhillips noticed and was able to find me the right size, a 10x10

Took a walk around with my phone in hand checking other units as was told by associate to do. Then he told me I'd have to.go.back to store to get a lock. Thankfully the manager at Notre Dame was a.very helpful man and he took his.personal truck to go get me a lock.

Some difficulty with out-of-town call service when we were looking for the storage. Then request to be put on auto pay not recorded. However staff quickly resolved problems to our satisfaction.

Snow that was not removed in front of the storage locker melted and the water ran under the door and ruined some wood and panels that were stored in it. all furniture that had fabric was ruined.

The person who helped me at mcphillips location., he took time to show storage locker. And i saw one i booked to small, he showed what was avavable, and i took that one. Excellent top notch service.

The only thing that would have made this the perfect storage system would've been access to a forklift. The moving staircase can be very difficult with large heavy items.

Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, others were not. the unit that I rented was not well maintained. It leaked in a few places that had a patch job and there was water damage.

I rented it for a month used it for one day costed me 100 dollars and they could not at least 50 % back its vial. Then the manager was staring at me like she had power over me. She made rude commenets
