I was not charged for the number of miles used, but the number I approximated at the beginning (aka I was overcharged). Also I stepped on a tack in the back of the vehicle. It went through the bottom of my shoe. The vehicle was not cleaned when I picked it up. It still had a big sheet of plastic and a dolly in the back.

Take pictures of the vehicle, the mileage before and after. I travelled only 15 miles on my vehicle and they charged me for 1200+ MILES WHICH WAS more than $500!!!! I called customer service several times only to lie to me and not give me a quick turn around. Is there no safety system that catches errors?? If I really did travel 1250 miles for the 4 hours I rented it, I WOULD HAVE BEEN DRIVING AT 300 MILES PER HOUR. How is that possible?? Give me my money back.

I would improve agent customer service. When I picked up my vehicle, the agent was holding a whole conversation with other co-workers while completing my contract.I also needed a dolly, and I was informed the dolly came with the truck. When I did my pre-trip inspection there was no dolly in the truck. The gas mileage was also listed incorrectly on my contract.

The passenger seat did not move and was stuck in the position as far as possible to the front. It was impossible for an adult to sit there and we had to drive 14 hours from GA to MI with it. We called roadside assistance but they could not meet us since we were on a tight schedule and drove through the night. Additionally, the smell in the cab was terrible. It had a very intense smell of mold and urine so we had to keep all windows down all night driving through freezing Michigan. When we picked up the truck they just had sprayed something in the cabin to cover it up and put down the window so they were clearly aware of it but just tried to cover it up.

Inside smelled like cigarette smoke when we picked it up. Truck on great shape, very few miles on it. I ordered 15' truck, realized when got it home it was 20'. Not sure how computer said I ordered 20'. Staff worked very hard to straighten it out and we truly appreciate all they did as it was quite an administrative nightmare for them.

The manager Juan and employee Rashad (sorry if the spelling is incorrect!) were extremely courteous and kind, and went above and beyond to help with my truck and auto-transport drop off. I am very thankful for their help, especially in a situation such as moving to a new place where you don't have a network of friends and family to help. Rushout Movers was the company who retrieved my items. They were sent out with a trailer with a flat tire, so that meant that they were delayed while waiting for a new tire to be brought to them. This delayed them over 2 hours Also, there was an additional bolt lock added to the top of the box when the box was picked up from my home in Tallahassee in August 2023. This was not checked for, and this delayed the opening of the U-Haul Box even further because my tools were with my items. It seems to me that your equipment was not checked properly by the Chamblee U-Haul staff before releasing these items to Rushout Movers. They are a third-party moving company that I rented through U-Haul. I am beyond happy with their service. However, the attention to detail was missed by the U-haul facility. Please train your staff better to be prepared for these items. Due to these circumstances, I was delayed in going to work and that cost me money.

This rental was a nightmare! First of all - the trailer had no jack so I had to buy one to take it off the truck. Secondly I could not lock it up because it requires a special lock to fit the back and I could not buy one during Christmas. This stuff should be reviewed at point of rental. Never again!!

Darnell and Rashad were super comforting and helpful in my transition from a Ubox to a storage unit. I was going through a family emergency at the time and they were very empathic and understanding. This place was great. I did the in person check in at the counter and it took about 5 minutes. They do have parking spots available for you to leave your car too. No hidden fees or any of that. I just paid for the rental, the miles, and threw gas back in it to match what it was before I left. Would definitely use them again in the future.

2511 is the storage unit we rented. The slide latch had been previously cut where the padlock shackle would go over, and restraighted. It was not replaced and it should have. I did not notice this previously. But did noticed it two weeks before we decided to vacate the unit. The damaged slide latch also made it difficult to open and close the roll up door. This was frustrating. Lastly, when I initially signed for the unit, the manager had made a card key for me. But did not hand it nor included it in the paperwork I had received. There was a lot going on that day because we were moving out of our apartment. What was also frustrating was that he (Darell SP?) told me that I could not enter or use my storage unit until a 24 hour background check was completed. WTF?! I have rented storage unit from your company throughout my military career and have never heard of this BS! Please correct this.

I know it is annoying when customers come right before close, but they showed no signs of rushing me or being upset. I do wish the facility was open a little later on a Friday night, though. I wish you guys could work with customers more when they go into default and need time to pay.. nothing against the fact that this is a business.. just lost very personal items that meant a lot to myself and family bc I couldn't afford to keep up with the payments.. People who have money may judge this but honestly there are some out here that struggle to pay high bills with a limited income and there are some that make decisions based on their current situation that businesses like storage companies take advantage of the $ not the customers which make it hard to keep up in most cases.. smh.. I really tried but I pray for not only myself that those that find themselves in situations like mine, see a bigger picture that u lose sometimes but the reward later can turn out to be 10fold..

Staff was very disrespectful idk who these new guys are, Nick and the other guy above Nick at the Uhual on 2951 NE Expressway chamblee ga but the customer service was trash. I've had a small unit at that location for a couple years now & wanted to upgrade to a bigger one so I reserved it online a week or so prior for June 11 & went on June 11 afternoon to obtain it. Nick prematurely moved me out of my current unit before we solidified the bigger unit. The price for the larger unit I reserved was a higher price and I even showed them the screenshot. The guy above Nick refused to honor that price I reserved it for therefore I no longer wanted it. I told him I'll stay in my current unit since y'all aren't honoring the price & he said since I'd been moved out in the system he didn't have access to move me back in & I'd have to call customer service on Monday to get my unit back. I'd asked for something in writing or some type of confirmation so I'm not out here with no unit come Monday with ALL my stuff in it looking crazy. He refused and decided he wasn't dealing with me, dismissed me & was very nasty, saying his manager would have to do it & he's off so oh well. After the 2nd time of asking him to call his manager & not ignore me he finally called & the manager walked them through how to move me back in through the system. Something so simple to rectify but instead they decided to ignore me and treat me like nothing. But I will not be ignored; especially regarding something I'm paying for monthly. And this is nothing against the manager bc I believe I met him and his customer service was above average in our dealings. But those two guys working that day…very disrespectful & very dismissive, especially the superior guy.

The Manger of this facility needs customer service training. The turn over rate at this place is ridiculous and no one wants to spend their money where the service is horrible and the employees don't fully understand or can not fully communicate the standard rates and fees well enough to successfully secure a storage unit for a customer where it's not a big confusion when that employee is absent and some else is assisting the customer. It seems to me that no one is trained properly at the place. This was by far my worst experience ever at uhaul. That says a lot.

This has been the most consistently convenient and supportive staff that I've experienced in the Atlanta area for the past 10 years. The manager is also always onsite and assisting his team during any complications. There's needs to be a person designated to cut locks off when purchased from Uhaul! I had to call 3 times to get my account closed out! Access hours need to be extended until 11-12pm

Wouldn't recommend to a friend because of all of the fees associated with the storage. Like the parking fee and the 24/7 access fee.

I felt the price was a little high. I would recommend someone use the facility but also to look around for a better price. I was in a desperate situation and needed the easiest solution fast. In that respect, I was happy.

I have a major problem with your policy of renting a storage unit. Your people asked me for 2 addresses and 3 phone numbers. I am a single man. I have 1 cell phone. I had to give a phone number of a friend and sister. There is no reason for you to involve ANYONE, for any communication purpose, involving my storage unit. You contact me and me only and don't ask for ANYTHING else. I don't want anyone involved in my life, issues, or storage unit. I have a mailing address and a physical address. You don't need both. Nobody gets both. Why do you need it? Had I known that you were going to ask for all this info, I would have taken my business elsewhere. You need to change this policy or at least give a logic reason as to why you need this.

The lady that attended to me on the day of my lease was extremely rude to me. She had a very nasty attitude that made me so uncomfortable. I'm not begging for a storage unit! You're not doing me a favor!!! It's a business transaction and it is paid for so learn to treat people with respect. I will never return to this location. Everything seems so hard there. This is the poorest Service I've ever experienced using uhaul

UBox was canceled by the company accidentally the morning of my wedding. Every time I called, I was on hold for AT LEAST an hour and then the employee couldn't help. Will never use U Haul again!!
