The service hours suck. The sizing is way too small. I ended up having to purchase two units. On top of some the storage space is taken up by the wall. So I'm not getting my full space. Definitely won't be getting a unit here ever again.

Uhaul corporate was unaware of this and stated I would be charged extra at Fort Walton Beach for returning to the wrong location.

It's very inconvenient for me to come & redo paperwork on my phone first. Then do it again when I get inside. And it's very inconvenient for one person to handle a lot of people. I had appointment for 11:00 & supposed to bring back by two. It took twenty minutes of my time to get things situated. That's pathetic, but you business there & don't have the supplies. Ridiculous
Carlton GStephen was amazing in helping me when I picked up my truck but he wasn't supposed to have to help. Any time I've ever used Uhaul there's a problem and this time was no different. The system was down so I couldn't complete the self check in and pick up. Again, Stephen was fantastic and extremely patient as he had to repeatedly start the process over but it took almost an hour. That hour cost me time and money since I had movers on the clock waiting. The appliance dolly that I had ordered wasn't available again costing time and money when the movers had to improvise using the dolly on the truck. It cost more time and money given the 2 trips, rather than the 1 trip that was planned, that had to made since the movers were scheduled for a limited time. It is never a good experience using Uhaul and maybe one day I'll learn and use a different company.
RAE OThe website and mobile app are terrible. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give them a 1. Can't believe a major company would have such a poor system.

roxanna RHonestly, the young lady who performed the paperwork for my rental was not pleasant at all. She was just the may I help you and have a good day type. She did her job, but definitely not a people person. She also speaks so fast, as if I've done this process before. If I had to rent from this location again, I would personally walk in and walk out of she was the agent taking care of me. I would come back at another time of day, another day or go to another location. Everyone else were extremely nice, from the young lady who made my reservation the day before to the young man who had taken the truck in for inspection. They were awesome.

vinnie pThe new process of having the customer do more work makes me feel like I am at a self check-out. I should not be charged a fee if my phone is too old to download the u-haul app in order to complete the equipment return. I was "fussed at" by a clerk because I was "holding up the line" while the attendant attached the trailer to my vehicle, when the problem was the new u-haul process of completing the rental process until after the trailer is connected to my vehicle.

The rep took a long time as she was talking normal conversation with the other worker while we were trying to check in. She was busy on her phone texting, and then answered the customer service line and assisted another call while we were already there in the middles of our transaction.

Jeanette CI did a pre-checkin on the app and thought I checked the correct box for insurance which I also get full coverage. I was involved in an accident and found that I was not covered for liability????? I think upon picking up the truck the attendant should go over all insurance choices with you to insure you are covered correctly!!

Carlos R | Expérience généraleI have rented from U-Haul multiple times and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. Prior to moving in I received the traditional email with my unit number, access code, and storage hours which are listed as 6am - 10pm. Once I arrived to the storage I tried entering my access code and I received an error message saying invalid code. I informed the manager and she said "o you don't need a code because your storage is on this side." I didn't think anything of it and said ok thank you. After moving in I went to my storage after the office was closed but during storage access hours to retrieve something and to my surprise I was faced with the same message access denied invalid code. At this point I'm totally confused so I call the 800 number to see what's going on to only be told they can't issue me code I would have to speak with the property manager. I was scheduled to go out of the country the next morning and needed to access my storage then and there. After misssing my trip I called the property manager as soon as they opened to get an access code so I can gain access to my belongings and she informed me "we don't give codes here you can only get in your storage when the office is open." I was at a total lost for words as I have never heard of anything like this especially since I have an email stating other wise and again this was not my first time renting from U-Haul but it was most definitely my last. Ms. Aleisha Smith is a crook and she is robbing people out of their money. Due to her customer service I will never rent from U-Haul again nor will I recommend anyone to rent from them either.

The email I got and also the customer service rep I called that same day said the storage close at 10 pm. So I was not able to get into my storage on the day I was supposed to move into it and also I had to use gas to drive 2 hours to where I stay at and 2 hours back to the storage place the next morning. The employees didn't help at all. All the employees need training on how to deal with customers or be fire or something. This was the worst customer service experience I ever experienced.

Of course I asked her why would she say that in front of the customer with meat amazing right there. Ohhh,it escalated and yes she had every right to call the police. I read he so bad. I called to speak with the manager she made a promise to compensate me,which I never received an email with any changes included. Didn't happen. However, these ladies need to be on undercover boss,that's how rude and ignorant they are at the U-Haul West Bank , Gretna , LA location. The next month I closed out my storage and moved on. You shouldn't try people you know nothing about. That's making a long story short
