Donna S | Expérience généraleThe location and the employees were really nice. My review is not based on my location experience, it's the booking experience. I booked a truck and when I arrived to pick it up a day in advance of my planned activity. I expected it to be there. The truck was not returned by the current renter so my rental was bumped to the next day. Well, they didn't bring it back then either so I had to take a substitute vehicle. I rented a pickup truck to haul my boat and ended up in a 10' box truck. Again, not the fault of the location but still a very disappointing customer experience. I lost a whole half day fishing due to the fiasco. I would rent here again but now that Uhaul is going away from pickup trucks this won't matter much either. So I guess I'm just venting about a frustrating experience and lost time.
William WI had issues with a break up and my ex is an ex if a manager if the beach blvd loc and this has caused issues with my rental and should be addressed accordingly the name of the employee that has caused to much turmoil is Dakoda I do not know his last name... but he should not be working there at all...

Germaine MCould not complete online check in and didn't sign a contract nor confirm the gas nor mileage. Truck was not assigned by the facility and was not available at the reserved time. The key in the lock box provided was the wrong key for the truck. Charged me for gas.

Chuck was making noise and it messed up my stuff so I think I should get a refund based on inside of the check location but this truck wasn't it I'm sorry but I was not satisfied, but I just need to move my stuff.
Dwyer WOur overall experience is based on if you have a problem, how that problem is handled. Our leather couch was damaged by a water leak in the unit, not caused by us. We filed a claim and was told we didn't buy insurance, so it wasn't covered. NOT taking responsibility for maintaining your property and putting your customers health at risk is not a good experience. The couch had mold and mildew.

He opened a door and screamed for help to some woman, I'm assuming the manager. She came out in full pajamas and just looked at the computer instead of helping this young man and walked away. He was trying to help two people at the same time with no assistance. Honestly it just seemed really ghetto and the poor guy should've had help. I was in there for about 45 minutes.
Meadow TVery personable staff. Opening my account, as well as closing, was friendly and efficient. Pricing is why I chose this location, but the service made it worth more. Cleaning staff should be commended for high quality work and friendly interactions with customers. hated to cancel my account even though I had numerous positive interactions with the various office and custodial employees I encountered.

The staff was always helpful, and I felt safe going to my storage unit regardless of the time of day. The AC was set just right. None of my possessions were damaged due to dampness or other factors.

Shayla LI rented a larger unit here for 2 years, and always felt secure and was well cared for as a customer whenever I had a question or need. I also rented moving vehicles from here and never had a problem or concern. The one time a vehicle was not available, I was notified of an alternate location just a couple miles away and received great service there as well. I would highly recommend this U-Haul location for any of your needs!!

James Rwaited an hour for office to open. The manager was very apologetic and frantic as their computers were down. Fortunately my phone had the info she needed and was able to get me on the road. Truck was in great condition and as always the renting a pickup from U-Haul is overall a great experience. Renting again in December will try unattended access program.

Shareka MYall gave my truck to someone else and yall let me reserve a unit that wasn't available. I had to search high and low for 2 hours another truck. Thanks to miss Allison may I was able to get one from another facility. The only unit for storage was smaller than I requested and worker said rent 2 but there was issue because first month to be free. By end of day it said I owed over 300.00. A nightmare this company is becoming. I cancelled storage u it and I need a truck at end of month but am going to use penske instead. Sorry I'm not sorry.

Qadasha YOur reservation got moved from Merrill Rd to the Atlantic Blvd location. We picked up the 10 foot truck and was charged $1,09 a mile, which I thought it was supposed to be $.89 a mile. The truck did not come with a ramp or AC. Very unacceptable, I am not happy with this service.

He took great pride in taking care of the customers as well as the grounds of the establishment and the trucks (super clean cab). Also, I ended up needing the truck for longer than expected and I wasn't hassled or harassed about it. I also wasn't charged an arm and a leg for it all. Mark really made the super stressful experience of moving a bit more palatable. (Two thumbs up)

Even though it was only 10 miles away it made my entire day much less productive. Can you ima-gine making reservations for a special occasion at a favorite restaurant and being told they had no food and to go to some other restaurant.

But when I arrived in my destination the staff didn't not answer the phones, I reached out to customer service and they too couldn't get in touch with the staff members at drop off. I wasted gas and miles, The next day I returned the truck rental and was told that the truck rental was not the same comparison to storage. I would like to file a complaint

They helped me way beyond the usual including helping me to jump start my van that had been transported using an auto transport. (some how all the interior lights were on for the four day journey). The facility is super clean and well lit. The online reservation and move in process are simple and effective.

The roadways, elevators, and hallways are always clean and feel 100 % safe. The managers (Josephine and Antonio) are available to answer questions and are unfailingly pleasant. The process of loading and unloading the items to and from the third floor unit was easy, and the items were in perfect condition when I moved them out last week. This is a very well-managed facility, and I highly recommend it for its convenience and security.

But why would you do that, right?

If I can help I will never store here again.

When i returned it to where the tank was they charged me $30 because the tank wasn't on 1/6 when they gave it to me on 1/4 ( I Have A Picture Of it ) also when i returned the truck i asked the man that works there could he check it before i go he stated that it will take 20mins before he get to . As i processed to leave it wasn't even 5mins he checked the truck i would recommend getting a storage there but a uhaul Truck absolutely NOT . I'm still waiting on someone to contact me about the over charge .

When we moved in, the night of the 14th, and there was a car parked literally flush and in front of the hallway to access the rack, elevators, and all. We even took a photo of it. The car was in our way and we even had to hit it a few times to properly move in. There was no way to alert whoever the car belonged to or anything. It added way, way more time to a simple move in process because a car was parked for over an hour right in the access hallway after office hours.

Was told they can do what they want in regards to policy and does not have to abide by corporate office guidelines and policy. Also staff left facility with no one on site during normal business hours. No note on door indicating no one on site and would return at a certain time. Also had vehicle left in return area which only allowed one way in and out. Had to drop trailer and turn all my equipment around. My worst experience with uhaul ever.
Donald H | Expérience généraleI arrived at the facility at 7pm on 8/9 to gain access to the storage, which I thought would be a easy process since my payment was easily processed and the instructions online were simple when I noticed that the access code wasn't working for the gate. I went to the door to get some quick assistance to see what was going on, while I was on hold with uhaul customer service just in case they could help quicker. the cleaning personnel knocked on the restroom door spoke with representative in the store, who didn't even have the decency to at least come to the door to see if my issue could be resolved quickly. the cleaning personnel came back to the door and said the rep told him "they know what to do" with no other further instructions I was left sitting at the gate trying to figure it out myself. While still sitting on hold for a hour waiting on customer assistance rep I decided to email live rep which advised that I was denied access due to the secondary contact not being a different person. I wish I would've got a phone call letting me know that or a email so I could've fixed the issue before making a blank trip but by the time I got the response I was already heading back home to unload the truck which I had just loaded so I could put in storage. i wasted mileage coming out to the facility, I wasted time sitting at the facility with no guidance overall 2/10 experience and wouldn't recommend as a first time customer .

You cannot drive a truck in there to access your unit because there is not enough room. It is a one way narrow driveway and you can't drive out because there are trucks parked in the return aisle waiting to be checked-in, blocking the way. it is impossible to turn a moving truck around in this small facility. You cannot contact anyone at this facility over the phone because their calls are automatically forwarded to the 800#. They do not offer one month free storage with a truck rental. As an added bonus I was overcharged. Definitely would not recommend unless you are moving into a storage unit via your own personal vehicle. Had I been familiar with the area, I would have rented elsewhere.

For that reason I will NEVER recommend your storages to anyone!!! I have never had this problem before with U-haul storages, but I've never had to file a claim either!!!

I wasnt given all the information regarding sign in at the time of my reservation. He kept making run to my car and I kept losing my spot I. Line. I had a car port and was never told I needed the 20 in cash to remove it. Again another 3 and have hours and still could not store my stuff. Before he removed the car port I had to go find and Atm which has caused me over $5 in fees to get the 20. I arrive back at 4:50 to give him the cash. At 5 I finally got to store my things. Then he forgot to give my the code and I had to go back to get it. Because it was near closings time. Then I finally wme to go back to finish. All in all a simple 2 hour move in took me 5 hours. Very unsatisfied. My things are there but I will be moving them as soon as It can

I was paying for "climate controlled" storage and I found many of my items covered w/ mold and mildew. In Florida I do not consider 82 degrees adequate to fully protect items in storage. You are perpetrating a hoax on the public by maintaining an 82 degree climate controlled storage unit. I paid almost $4 800 for proper climate control and still had to have much of my stuff sanitized. I will not be doing business w/ Uhaul again-a sizable portion of my money should be refunded.
