The young lady working was very helpful and informative. She was multi tasking, dealing with some rather demanding people while still looking after all of the other customers with the utmost competence in a timely manner and with a cheerful demeanor. Her name on my invoice is Yashika. In my opinion, from what I experienced and could see she is probably one of your most valuable, if not your most valuable employees. On another note, the facility was clean and secure, the storage unit I rented was clean and ready for occupancy. I am impressed with everything at this location.

Booked my truck at the location by my house for 2 days then when I went to pick it up there was no truck so I had to call U-Haul and they send me out to the Matsqui location to pick up a truck and said they would apply a 50$ discount for the inconvenience. I then drove out to the matsqui location that had a truck but none of the items that I needed with the original order and very minimal fuel in the truck. After wasting about an hour and a half of my time when I should have been moving I then had to proceed to the gas station to fill up the rental. I returned the vehicle in good condition the following day (a day early) and discovered I was being charged 100 dollars for mileage and that my discount couldn't be applied and that I should drive to the original location to receive my discount. Your company is garbage and I wouldn't recommend using you guys to my worst enemy. Thanks for nothing.

Customer service is good. Manager was especially kind and tried to be helpful and was sympathetic to my issues BUT the Facility is terrible !! and literally the first month I've been there. The facility leaked and the concrete structure at the back of my locker fell apart. Water damage into the building. Soaked the roof and in turn Ruined a lot of my stuff !!! Thousands in damages. Luckily no keepsakes and I have been told I also need to move all of my stuff so they can do repairs. It's my first month ! And to say I want to move all my things yet again would not be the case. I do not!

The staff and management at this facility are fantastic. They went above and beyond expectations. They were sympathetic and understanding to my unique circumstances, and they went out of their way to explain pricing, storage sizes, and even demonstrated how to use pin pads etc. Their customer service is truly top notch. The customer rep when returning the truck was rude, ignorant, I brought boxes I purchased to return but I was told I didn't have receipt he couldn't give my $28 back from 8 boxes, this guy became rude, I left the boxes since my move was done.

The bs system you use now is intrusive and ridiculous. I have my license and credit card in had. Confirmation email as well. Now you want someone else's contact info to confirm I am renting a vehicle? You are data mining friends and family. You will share this data with other as well. Have rented four to five times a year for decades now. All things must come to an end. Last time renting from your company. Period

Not empressed on trailer drop off, I checked in the am that I could drop trailer off where I rented storage unit. When I went to drop off trailer it was refused & I had to go all the way across town to drop off at another facility. Uhaul are you going to pay for my fuel & time???

Everything possible was wrong. I was not able to get my one-way reservation, so they gave me an in town reservation with the promise that I would still get a free locker and only pay half the kilometers. I had a locker reserved, and I even called the night before to make sure it was reserved. When I got there, they told me they no longer have the locker for me and I have to travel 18 km to another unit. When I got there, I told them everything and they told me that no, I would not get a free locker now and that I would need to supply a credit card, so I had to spend another 25 minutes on hold trying to get through to somebody to finally get into my locker. When I was unloading my locker at the second location which is very far from where I needed to be for my move at the end of the month., extremely frustrated, at this point, I look down and see that there's a pool of oil dumping out of the rear tire of the moving truck. I climb underneath and see that there is oil let loose all dripping down the tire and axle. iPhone U-Haul for the fifth time this day and asked to speak to a manager who tells me that they will pick up the truck tomorrow and I have to figure out a ride home. The clerk at the U-Haul unit came out and I showed her the oil and she agreed that I should not drive the truck. However, I cannot pay my bill because the manager is now telling me that they need to inspect the truck to verify that there is a reason why I could not bring it back to the location. I paid $100 cash deposit at the original pick up point and cannot get any answers and I am now being told next week I may find out what my bill is. I have a move set up for November 3 which is extremely important and I have zero confidence that U-Haul is going to be able to have my truck ready. If this is the kind of feedback you want and this is what you want your customers telling other people consistently that is fine. Personally, I would never consider using U-Haul after this experience. The manager seemed like I wasn't annoyance to him and he just wanted me off the phone. When I got to the first storage locker where they gave away my reservation, the clerk was smirking at me when he saw my frustration that I had to drive 20 minutes away from where I needed to be to another location. Personally, I can't believe they would charge us one penny after thi. I had to get a vehicle to drive me home, and somebody had to go out of their way 47 km to bring me back to LANGLEY. I paid that person's gas and nobody cares at all about the frustration and the seven hour event that I had to go through yesterday when all I did was reserve a truck weeks ago and the storage locker and tried to use your service. I have photos and video of the oil dumping all over the tire, and I will not be held to pay costs if they deem that it is not a failure. That truck was not safe to drive back on the freeway. It had oil all over the rubber, and I have video and picture proof and I would love to show somebody it. I highly doubt anyone will contact me regarding this, but I would love to speak to somebody that may be a little higher up than the people I have been speaking to, because they have treated me with nothing but haste and rushing me off the phone like I am an annoyance.

I rented a pick up truck and got a 15' van. So i had worse gas mileage and a higher price because of that and i couldn't back up my trailer into my underground parking spot. The reason why i rented this. Overall bad experience. Next time call me when you dont have the truck i ordered and ill go somewhere else.

I initially rented the U-Haul storage unit and a truck online through an offer link giving me one month free storage for renting the truck. When I did my check-in at the storage unit they stated that I would not be eligible for that because it wasn't an out of town truck rental.. none of that was told to me during the whole application when I filled it out and the offer was offered to me. When doing the reservation it gives you an option to do it online or in-person. When we get there they want you to download the app. There is a reason. We choose not to do it online. I feel this needs to be changed for those who fo not wa t app or to do it on computer

The vehicle was cleaned.. but the floor was slippery due overly sprayed cleaning agent that my feet was slipping from paddle while braking. I had to stop at a gas station and to clean the floor with papers or else it was too dangerous to drive in that condition.

This location and the people that work at this location are amazing. Only UHaul storage location i would ever do business with again. They really work with me when i was struggling when jobs would lay off hard workers and hire cheap labor. Never wanted to fall behind in payments, but this location really went above and beyond for me. I finally got was able to pay up and keep family Momentous that mean a lot to us. Thank you very much to everyone that work at this location.

The front desk clerk said my 5x5 may be too small so I asked him to update me to a 5x10 …. He gave me a 5x5, had to go back and ask for a 5x10 … then he gave me a unit that was in use, has to go back again and then finally I got a unit that I could use.. was extremely inconvenient as I had my infant with me trying to unload all my items and having to go back up to the office 2 times to get a proper unit. Guy needs more training

Took over 40 minutes to complete the process to pickup the truck. Nothing like feeling like you are wasting you time. The drop off process doesn't support firefox on the phone but doesn't tell you that it isn't supported. Spent 20 minutes trying to check in the Truck. As a software developer It felt almost as painful to use as the ICAN app.

Finding the unit was confusing. There is a gated part of units, but my unit was not in the gated area while I was provided the gate access code. There was no map of building name provided. I moved in after their office hours, and found there was no lock provided to lock. There was no store around to go and buy a secure lock at 10pm. Even if I could get a lock, the access hours ended at 10pm, so I was afraid the alarm would set off when I come back with a lock. I called the customer service. First CS didn't provide solution and transferred to next CS. I can't leave the unit without a lock. I discussed with her to use the lock that came with the Uhaul truck that I rented from a different location, and come back to the storage office to get a lock next day and go to return the truck lock. It takes 1,5 hour to do that as I don't live close to the unit during my work hours next day. The information and solution about the lock (how to securely retrieve the lock) should be included in advance for after hour move-ins. It was stressful to deal with the issue late at night, and it took additional trip to the unit next day taking out from my work hours. I spoke with the facility next day and requested a discount or some sort. The facility was sending in a request to the head office. I hope to hear from them.

I had difficult time returning blankets at one store in Brampton, ON. They could not locate the reference number from their system to match with the one on the receipt. I ended up leaving blankets without the receipt. They said they will email me the receipt when they finally find it in their system. It's been 5 days now no email from them.

UHaul has a very long process to validate the client. I've rented multiple time from Uhaul and it seems to get worse. I'm not sure why for repeat customers they can't make the process more efficient. Today I rented a $15 trailer and it tool almost 30 minutes go through the entire process of getting their contracts competed.

Jen the GM is wonderful! How ever, they need to be checking there equipment better. I was given a trailer with a bent tounge, as being a 6x12 the brakes would not apply as the braking mechanism would not slide due to the bent tounge. Lights also were burnt out , not connected and bad ground on the wiring system

Hardik, and Jennifer, the team I dealt with at this location, and the online team, many of them, I dealt with for my needs, are simply they best.. "The Best". Apecial call out goes to Hardik, I have phoned him on many occasions, booking, changing, rebooking, and visited him in person to get help with all my moving needs, he has stood out on every occasion, as per my moving needs. With a smile, and so much respect and patience for every time I have either visited or called. Simply amazing. I have rented from this location many times over the years. Today's rental was not what I have grown to expect. The van we rented smelled badly like wet dog and the back was not particularly clean. The dolly I rented was not in the van so I had to line up and wait for it. As I drove away two warnings kept flashing that the traction system needed servicing and the stabilitrak system needed servicing. The ABS light was also on and the traction system light was on. As a pulled into a parking lot one of the rear wheels locked up on me for a few seconds. I called the Roadside assistance number but they insisted on my contract number before they could help me out and maybe disable the traction system. I tried finding it on my phone and the Uhaul App but all I could see was a reservation number. She kept insisting she needed a contract number. I gave up on that and drove the van back to UHaul. The young lady there had no idea what to do and there was no other van to take. I told her I would take a chance with the van and drove away. I used it for about 35km total. Once in a while the traction system would act up but I got our move done. In the end I had to pay for the extra mileage I did driving it back to UHaul and had to deal with the wet dog smell all day. This is unusual for this location where I have always had good luck.

The employee wouldn't let me sign the truck back in myself and it was very strange when it came time to payment, just started charging my card Willy nilly. Then said it was declining. And told me to pay by card inside. So I went in and tried using my debit and he kept telling me it was declining. The machine didn't prompt me properly. Apparently I am not able to pay for anything with a debit card, either. I had to move money around, if I had been allowed to pay through the mobile app myself I could have taken my time and not been stressed out about it.

Friendly helpful staff. The 6x12 covered trailer that we rented was very well maintained, and served our purpose perfectly. The only reason we checked no on "was the equipment clean and well maintained ? " The trailer was somewhat dirty, but that could easily been that the roads were dirty between car wash and drop off. I don’t like that I have to put more fuel in to the truck It was approximately 3/4 full but I had to put about four extra gallons To make sure that I brought back adequate fuel should always be a full tank that way I can fill it up to fall and I won’t be short and a charge for lack of fuel

Everything was great until I needed a truck which proved to be a bit interesting. I could not understand what the male answering the office phone was saying. It seemed the prices changed after booking because I booked a one way which this location didn't end up having so I payed quite a bit more not only for the mileage but also for the gas because I had to return the truck. I was told Id have 48 kms free which was also not in the return deal. That wasn't great because I would have gone a different route had I known that in advance.

All of my things became mouldy because there was a leak in the roof that never got fixed and created a plethora of black mould. I had insurance, yet no employee would direct me as to what the next steps are. So I had to abandon my things

Where we finally ended up we we happy with staff and spot rented. However, this was our third uhaul. The first two said they had trailer parking but they were completely unacceptable to be offered for anything other than a small car. also, you had to make impossible turns to back in. They admitted that others have tried to park but failed. The one spot has someone else's camper over the white line about 8" too, leaving the spot unusable. We spend nearly three hours driving around to get a spot a complete waste of time and added stress. I have been told that a call centre looks at a map of locations off site. They need to have more information like how many feet, how much turning space to determine if a trailer will fit and if they are not sure they beed to transfer call to actual location to verify. This was a horrible experience!

Jen was very polite and eager to help. Fast and funny helps. Only complaint was the schedule of the return of the van from the previous customers. Understanding as this is as nothing ever goes as planned. In fact I don't really care for that time line expectations. We were directed to another location to pick up the van, which did not happen as the client was delayed. This did stall our time to start. In fact we were told that we could take our time thereafter in returning the van. This was much more relaxing. I guess it's a busy time. Tty8tr thanks

I reserved 3 storage lockers for my move. A transport truck is coming to deliver all the furniture and belongings. I show up to open my units and they tell me they gave my reserved units away to someone else and the only have 2 5x10 units available. I never received a phone call or anything prior and had to go find another unit at the last minute before the movers showed up. I could have came in earlier to start renting the units a few days or weeks in advance if they had told me it would be an issue, but I was never told that. Don't tell me I can book a reservation and then give my units away with absolutely no heads up. That's not a reservation.

Nicholas was extremely helpful and kind. He personally helped me unload a 6'x12' trailer. I was I incredibly tired and overwhelmed after being on the road 5 long days and don't think I could have done it without his very kind help. It's so rare anymore to be treated like an actual human being and being treated like one actually shocked me. In a good way. That's sad to say, right? I'm so glad I had the very rare experience of encountering such a good person as Nicholas. Wonderful experience!

The office staff here over the last few years have been nothing short of amazing. Jennifer and her maintenance staff have been very helpful and accommodating to me throughout my time there. Would absolutely return to this location for any rentals or future storage.

The locker had what looked like motor oil/grease spots on floor that needed to be cleaned before we could move our posessions in. The rubber seal at bottom of door is missing so dirt/dust blows in - possibly mice?

I called last month to cancel and the lady said we are set and its cancelled. This month i got charged again and when i called..i was told the cancellation did not process correctly by the lady..however they see the cancellation. I asked for a refund for this month because it wasnt my fault but the manager didnt do anything. I paid extra $89 for no fault of mine. Very disappointed.

One employee was extremely abrasive, arrogant and rude. This was experienced on several occasions when i was in paying the rent and when i was clearing out the unit. At that time she was so rude and condescending and did not appear to be listening to what i was saying and being very dismissive

I did everything online and honestly didn’t have to talk or deal with anyone so that was pretty cool... the only thing is my storage was supposed to come with a free lock upon rental online but unfortunately there was nothing in my rental locker when I moved in but that’s ok I had my own lock anyways, other then that everything went smooth

The manager Jennifer is awesome lady she is so polite and nice and very accommodating as much as she could be. I would love to deal with her as a manager for ever if needed to she has made my experience with u-haul pleasant and has made up for any problems in the past I've had with other u-hauls on Vancouver island and Surrey. I believe in and trust her and would do business with her any andneverytime I have the chance. She is so awesome of a person and woman I'd would be extremely happy if she was in my life forever that is how easy she has made it for me to trust someone again. Thank You Jennifer.

Im only giving you above average rating for two reasons. When the new doors were installed the pushed all my storage material into a big pile and left nuts bolts pieces of metal behind. When i mentioned this to the staff, it was like i was bothering them. Plus I now am renting a 5x10 unit. That in reality is only 5 x 9. The last 12 inches is located on the exterior. And i hope your not saying the 10 is the height...So im paying for 50sq feet of air...I woud have given the staff an ok rating. But you dont have that option , but not worthy of a No rating

It's definitely the worst storage my company had to deal with. Now we are switching our other storages from UHAUL to somewhere else. It's absolutely robbery! will never deal with you guys again, no matter if it's personal or business... Won't recommend to anyone!!!

The lady got most of my info wrong, demanded phone numbers not needed and did not explain what they were for. I thought they were emergency numbers she was asking for and turns out they were not . U haul phone in support was amazing and fixed everything.

The best part of our experience here was the young lady in the office; Jennifer, I am guessing, is her name. It was her we saw this last time as we emptied our unit. She was SO pleasant, efficient, and helpful. She even remembered us from when we first set the storage up. She is why we would recommend this place.

Brought my own padlock, but Would not let me use my own. then when I was standing there with no other option, they charged me for one of their own cheap crappy $10 locks. Then explained the reason for this was so they can easily cut the lock off if they needed too, but assured me that motivated BnE offenders somehow could not cut it. Underhanded.

When ever we move U-haul is the only company we use . Have been using U-haul trucks and storage on and off for 40 yrs .

Absolutely horrible, no free month for storage travellers no one way. Drove 1700km and first month free. Rented a uhaul truck with hole in tank and never covered my whole gas bill because I had to return truck. Company kept changing my visa 2 months after I canceled my storage.one staff member has no idea what they are doing. Horrible experience and will never go back.

My only complaint is the location has allot of Uhaul equipment stored around the facility that can make navigating a 20"+ truck difficult for the average person.

1 headlight that was not working & damage to the truck. They said just take a picture & don't worry. Really? Minor issue but the old damage was repaired but came loose. I'm not responsible for it.

The storage was great. But I called and reserved a van and car dolly 3 weeks in advance and when the day came I had to go 40 mins to other place horrible service thanks for nothing
