We had a terrible experience. 26ft U-Haul was very UN SAFE. Alligment was needed badly, we hit rain/snow and no windshield wipers… we had this truck for 7 hours on our way to new home, longest 7 hours. Very disappointed we were even rented a truck in this condition.

Antonio CI asked for a van with a remote key lock. The woman at the counter refused to have the guys who were all standing around move a van out to give me the remote key lock van. Instead, I got a van that once you open one door all the doors open, and you had to manually lock each door. I explained it's for safety reasons and she didn't care. She was rude and seemed to not know customer service. In the end the van she gave me was blocked by a big truck so one of the guys still had to move a truck out. Not sure why you don't care about women's safety! The vans back door barely opened and made this horrible noise when you pushed it open.

john bAt the time of pickup of the truck I was told it had almost no gas in it so a $22,5 fuel credit was applied and was told to bring it back with a quarter tank of fuel. I put a total of 22 miles on the vehicle and was told the vehicle gets 19 mpg. Upon completion of my use I put four gallons of gas into the car and the fuel gauge hardly moved at all. In any case, I got a receipt from the gas station. I returned the vehicle and the clerk "forgot" to include my $22,5 gas credit. When I spoke to the "owner" Tony Flores" he made several excuses why I wouldn't get a gas credit. I tried to show him the receipt from the gas station minutes earlier. He refused to look at it. I will never use U-Haul again. You should never promise a credit and then take it away when a customer does everything asked of them.

U-Haul made my situation worse by getting scammed 20 percent more , Then had to help remove the bolts to fix trailer to have it have functional straps when trying leave the U-Haul in Vegas . I begged them to fix bald tire since I had to drive 1000 miles . They could not care less. I felt robbed and put my family and other motorists at risk further with crappy tire . I am a contractor and property manager PR all the time and if I raised prices and scammed people like this with risky behavior I would loose my licenses. Jason Fischer

Contract rates were incorrect when reservation was sent to LAS VEGAS BLVD location....Mgmt corrected the issue at the LVBLVD location. May have been a computer glitch at Uhaul's 800 #?? In the future the new employees need to be trained when a customer takes FULL COVERAGE for your auto, they should be able to explain what the deductible may be, + total out of pocket to customer and limits of collision and liability. ARCHIE JRental location moved twice Website and App didn't work for check out at 6AM so had to wait in the parking lot for an hour for store to open. While waiting I called the 1800 number and was hung up on and called back and was on the phone a total of 40 mins with no help. The final straw was the check out lady in the store was super rude. Will never rent from U-Haul again! Moving days are already a lot of work and would have been nice to have an extra hour of sleep instead of wasting it in a parking lot at 6AM. The lady on the phone knew the system was down so why not let customers know to not show up for mobile pick up via text???

The storage space was a great solution. In retrospect, when your initial rep offered trailer rental as opposed to the small truck, she didn't bother to ask if the drop-off location was restricted.

The employee then corrected himself and told me the unit was available. I was provided with an access card that did not work and an access number that did not work as well. I currently have no way to access my unit. I was told the computer system was down but other customers were accessing the doors while I was loading my unit. I had to keep the door propped open because the double doors locked before I was able to finish unloading my trailer into the unit.

Then the people had there cars parked blocking any access to the dock as well. Upon asking the employees at your store to help, l was told to figure it out. Rude and short, leave them alone loud and clear. At 2:45 when l could finally get to the dock, l was again rudely told the dock was clear an hour after l left. Nice, over five hours of a junkyard blocking access and I'm the bad guy? The manager there needs to have a serious attitude review.

It was empty and I was trying to get a family member who still lived there to check it. I was a promoter of Uhaul service. But now I am a detractor. I will never suggest Uhaul, their poor employees, and their poor business practices be avoided.

Frustrated , l said let me get this straight!!!!! l can't leave a uhaul truck on a uhaul property ??? Yes he said so you would tow your own property l can't and won't drive a unsafe vehicle. And said wow when l returned the next day and the only truck the was blocked in was mine . I would like a phone call from a Regional Manager or customer service representative Thank you

I was not aware that Uhaul does not prorate nor give refunds on storage units but, you give refunds on truck rentals, to me that's an oxymoron. I would not recommend anyone to use Uhaul for storage, the truck rental is good.

It is more expensive per sq. ft. then other storage units around the area. But like I said before if you just need a place to store your stuff for a few months this will do the job.

Had 24 hour access and didn't use it a lot, store called me and recommended I remove it and save an extra $10 a month. Very nice staff and facility.

Your employees inside seem generally rude, abrupt, overworked, harassed and impatient. My most recent experience with an employee at the desk was poor, at best. She was upset with me because I left my phone in my car "you don't even have a PHONE?" no, ma'am, I don't. "Can you go back and get it?" No, ma'am I am currently carrying a 50lb sleeping child and have NO desire to walk 50 yards back to my car in 108° heat. To be honest, the use of my phone to check in should be a convenient OPTION, not a necessity. She then said, "well I guess I'll have to use MY phone." Okay, please do, and I handed her my driver's license. She then used her pen to flick it back at me, through the air, in the most impatient way possible. I called her on her behavior, which I found exceptionally rude and unprofessional. The remainder of the interaction was how it should have started; at least she became semi professional instead of abrupt and rude. People are coming to your facility for a service. Instead of acting as if you are our last resort in times that can/could be turbulent, how about teaching your people how to act with even a modicum of compassion and human decency? Or, maybe you could hire people like that, instead of having to train it into them? I have repeatedly emailed the manager Dan Ferre regarding a credit that was supposed to happen two months ago. I've decided to file that credit under the "never do business with Uhaul again" and let it go. All that having been said, however, regardless of the half dozen unpleasant interactions I have had inside Uhaul over the years, I have literally NEVER had an unpleasant interaction with the people working outside. I don't know which way the ladder of success moves in your facility, but the people outside seem happier.

Some had thought everything would be dusty and dirty, it's amazing how clean the boxes and furniture remained. This morning I began wiping things down with disinfectant because of the current Virus situation, some items leather and some wood also the boxes, there was only a little dust on the sofa and love seat, it's absolutely amazing. During my rental on several occasions, I had to call in for something and I would request to speak to Arick, I think he may be the Assistant Manager, he is a wonderful person, kind, helpful, professional with a smile that will keep Customers coming back. A couple of times I spoke with a young lady that was rude; I don't think she's there anymore, however, Arick's customer service skills made up for any diversity that did occur. I appreciate that all the staff kept my belongs safe.
