your return app needs work and both college station's locations need clear and concise location where someone can scan to return item afterhours. lost 45 minutes this time and 1hour last time at other location on Texas. Both Texas locations do no have proper stickers up in order to scan....Each time I returned the trailer early. this was my 27th rental since May 2022

Someone had there storage stuff all outside where when I had already loaded and was leaving there was know way I could get by them so I had a very hard time backing out to go other direction. But I made it.

The business had to reschedule my appointment to install a hitch, because their computers were down the morning I came in for the appointment. They rescheduled the same day and took $50 off for my trouble. They were considerate and responsive to my needs.

Incorrect directions by woman inside office saying siges would help me find the area to park gets you stuck in places having the back up with a trailer umong crowded lot. There were no "signs". The gentlman disconnecting the trailer was awesome! Nice guy, very good CS and quick. 5 stars for him!

I had to wait at least 30 minutes, then I was told that the trailer was not ready because it had not been cleaned out after being returned. I waited an extra 15 to 20 minutes to finally get it. Some of employees were very frustrated with I really don't know what and they even made comments about wanting to quit. Apparently something is going on at that location and it showed. I would like for some one to call me. Thanks

Made my installation appointment over the phone, was not able to attend and they quickly rescheduled it. Once I got there, they immediately took my vehicle to get it installed, and I waited around 30 minutes before they were done. Great and quick service.

The lady that rented me the trailer did not have very good people skills. She didn't explain why she needed to know where I was taking "her" trailer. I felt like telling her that it was none of her business where I was taking "her" trailer, but since I needed it I felt like I had no choice and the she needed an additional phone number of someone else for what reason she never mentioned it either. Then I drop off the trailer about 4 or 5 hrs after renting it around 1ish and then at 8ish pm I get a call asking when I was going to return the trailer. I'm not sure on who is in charge, but I had a terrible experience, but unfortunately what can I do about it, but type my frustration and hopefully I will not get charge a late and/or for another rental day and then have to wait weeks until I get reimbursed. We'll see

Bad service telling me that I have to pay for something that wasn't my fault or because I didn't put insurance on it. I only had the trailer for a couple hours and returned it the same day.

Nobody behind the counter knew what they were doing, read my review I left. all of their attitudes were not professional , they all look like they just rolled out of bed with puffy eyes and greasy hair buns. . One employee guy kept saying he hadn't been trained well enough and he'd only been there two months and what should've been a simple pick up turned into a two hour hassle.. I had made a reservation for the tUhaul four days earlier and was handed my print out that I was supposed to bring to just pick up the U-Haul and it turned into a giant fiasco and I will tell everybody to never go to that location and I did all day today by the way. one of the employees kept saying that my trip to San Antonio to Austin would be 145 miles each way when it is actually only 65 miles so it was gonna cost me $500 instead of the 66+ gas I was told by the person who helped me when I reserved it. The third employee who finally showed up, seemed to know more than the other two, but had the worst attitude, and was acting like somehow all of this was my fault. All of this misinformation was my fault, and it made sure to tell me it wasn't their fault because it was so-and-so, who wasn't at work today, who gave me the wrong information. I just don't understand how a truck advertised for 2995 and of course adding insurance and refilling it with gas should cost anybody $500 when they're just going to austin and back . I wonder if any of them actually graduated high school and whoever trained them needs to try it again. I'd give it zero stars if I could , and I never do this sort of thing.

They need better signage telling customers where the door is. It is a huge location with parking in front of what they call the "maintenance area." Since customers can't go into the garage area, they have to walk all the way around this large building to get in a well hidden door on the back side.

Met me at the return location even though he was busy. Walked me around to the drop location and disconnected the trailer. Closed my ticket said he'd send an email with the info and thanked me for my business. This was what I've usually experienced with U-Haul.

Everything went well. But: The trucks HAVE to come with a full tank. I received mine with 1/4 tank of gas, which made it very hard and inconvenient to coordinate the return with that exact level of gas. Simply hand out the trucks with a full tank, please. And overcharge those customers who decide to return it not full. That would be best practice here.

Vehicle was very dirty. Windshield and side mirrors were very dirty. Lot loader would not help adjust side mirrors. I spoke with the manager about the dirty vehicle and the poor customer service from the lot loader,. The manager responded she did not have the staff to wash vehicles, clean side mirrors and adjust mirrors for customer safety. Tail light on vehicle dolly was out. Had to replace windshield wipers Moving from San Antonio to Phoenix. Around Kerrville, TX it started to rain. It was at that point I discovered how inadequate the wipers were. I purchased new wipers in Ft Stockton. Uhaul on San Pedro and Basse location is where I started. I will never use that location for anything. Manager and lot loader owe me an apology and Uhaul should compensate me for being a substandard company.

After I rent employee told me to drop off after hours due to rented late . After dropped off they called me 2 days later telling me it's stolen and I have to pay for it . And I had to drop off all my work and go to the location just show them I dropped and it's in front of their eyes

Didn't get the guy's name who addressed me when I first walked in, but he greeted me right away, and very professionally. Terry was friendly and OUTSTANDING! Didn't have to wait very long - very pleased with results! He did great on hitch and wiring install. Also - I believe the gentleman's name was Jimmy. Filled propane tanks for me. I highly recommend this storage facility! They are secure and very conscientious! I accidentally left my unit unlocked one day and I had a phone call that afternoon alerting me so I could go back and lock it. I felt my storage items were safe and secure. Merci.

I cannot express how helpful and nice everyone was for my situation. As a separating military member I was given so many options even when it was very likely inconvenient to the staff. They were always nice, helpful, and understanding when it came to working with me and the government contractors. The associates that run the front counter are awful. Both times I was in the front office the supervisor was in an argument with a customer. Each one of the could have been easily diffused but for whatever reason she kept pushing the customers to be more frustrated. It was awkward to stand in line and watch

Absolutely best service I have ever received. Accuracy is on point. The staff was fanatic. I had a great experience, and they really went above and beyond for me. The staff member who helped me was very informative. She also accommodated my needs BIG THANK YOU to her, I would have not been able to move out of my apartment if it was not for her assistance.

I was charged for a new chain because a part of the chain was scraped by the street. The chain was in excellent condition just a little discolored. The chain could have been reused over and over. This is not good business.

When getting the U-Haul from Austin they did not bother explaining or helping with anything they just handed me the keys and sent me on my way the employees looked and acted like they did not want to b there. When I dropped off the truck in San Antonio the employees were more in a hurry to close and get out of there rather than taking care of the customer.

The only issue I had was that I came home from Iraq and tried accessing my unit. The key would not fit into the lock. I tired asking several of your employees what was going on and nobody knew anything. I was told I needed a supervisor to cut the lock. A few days later the supervisor was available. Just so happened to be the same day I hired a locksmith. Supervisor cuts the lock. Turns out my wife entered the unit while I was gone, she locked it in the open position. Someone at U-Haul out a new lock on and didn't tell anyone about it or made a note in the system. So here I am, wasted 4 days trying to get into my unit and $50 out of pocket (locksmith fee). Other than that, you need more staff. There shouldn't be a 30-45 min wait to get a vehicle because you have 1 person working the counter.

Got some quite rude phone calls about replacing locks. In addition, on the last day, got a similarly brusque call to immediately go fix the lock, because the door was only partially locked. Arrived to find no lock on latch (had just put new lock there one week before) and no lock on floor of unit that had been left there on purpose.

There were a lot of issues regarding the storage for move. The upside is that the manager went far above and beyond to reach a reasonable solution. he called and called again any and every resource but ultimately he made something happen for us. During this time, he had put his lunch off, and was bouncing between assisting many other big issues with customers. It was only him and another worker. His name was Matt Kalinec, he deserves a rise and praise. Will be sending him lunch for the lunch he put off to deal with our issue.

I've been using their storage for 2+mths now. And every time I come in, everyone is always so helpful and welcoming and in a content/relaxed/nice mood. If they can't help, they'll quickly direct you to who can. They actually messed up my storage unit reservation when I was down-sizing, and they completely took responsibility. They notified me quickly, fixed it, and made me feel like they really cared about me as a person. I greatly appreciate all the gentlemen I've came across there!

I had to return a trailer half way through my trip and upgrade to a moving truck and a car transport because my little Ford ranger was struggling to pull the trailer. Technically, because this wasn't where I was supposed to return it, it was a "wrong location" and I couldn't return it. But couldn't figure out where I could return it. I called 1800gouhaul and got transfered 6+ times. Each employee claimed that they didn't have access to the info I needed. They couldn't make changes and didn't know why the previous person sent me to them. I think each employee should be granted access to everyone's order, be able to see all their info, and make changes. Everything is online these days. I should be able to contact an employee in a random state and they should be able to tell me where I can drop stuff off and make changes to my order. Each time I called to figure out drop off locations there was a 10+ minute wait. Calling 1800gouhaul again, I wanted to change my drop-off location because it wasn't the same as the storage location. The telephone line said that I could change it online. I would have preferred to do it over the phone. But after another 10-15+ min wait, I gave up. When I went online, neither my wife or I could figure out how to do it online. We asked the guys at the storage location if we could just drop it off there? They replied, oh, no. If you do that, we'll have to charge you double. Fruatrated, we just took it to the other location and dropped it off. Storage locations are free for the first month. Unless you don't have a round padlock. Then you charge me 10$?! I already had my own regular padlock with me, ready to go but you said, oh no, they can't be that type of lock. It has to be a round one. When I went to lock it up, my lock fit just as well as yours did. That was a totally unnecessary move on your part. The self storage container had two tears in the roof covered in white duck tape. What if it rains hard? Duck tape won't keep the water out.

I came in from out of town and arrived at the Uhaul at 6:45pm, 15 mins before closing. I had called ahead of time and already had a reservation for a storage unit. The employee I believe his name is Matt at 5810 San Pedro, San Antonio, Texas 78212 was fast, helpful, and very thorough. He gave me my paperwork, access gate card and explained everything to me in 15 minutes. I asked him if business was busy,and he said yes, but he was calm and friendly. I appreciate this kind of customer service. Thank you Matt! Uhail, please give him an accommodation for excellent service, especially for being at the end of the day. My visit was on 4/29/21, check his name to make sure I'm correct. Thank you again!

I was told I was enrolled in automatic payments and that I would be billed on a certain day, when I was not. Two days afterward I received a late charge and was informed I was delinquent. Wait times at the store were also frustrating. Each of the three times I went in and spoke to staff, I had to wait 15+ minutes due to there only being one person.

Classic scenario where the right hand didn't know the left hand had already done. Got there and Gloria asked for my information, tried to charge me another fee for the storage that I had already paid for over the phone. The gentleman I spoke to must have been new as he answered the phone telling me to hold on he was dealing with another, possibly irate, customer. I appreciate the 30days free. Maybe you all should give me another 30days for the inconvenience of having to provide info that was, or should have already been, in their database about my reservation.

San Pedro brought a U-box out to us in Canyon Lake so we never saw the facil, but our driver was GREAT! Right on tome, super efficient, friendly - we would totally do a U-box again and use them!

I never went to the facility. I spoke to BJ on the phone and she was amazing with helping me get my pods. BJ made my whole experience wonderful. I had issues in San Diego but the BJ went above. Excellent

Reason for leaving was that it was too expensive compared to other storage facilities around the area. It seemed that no one at U-Haul actually mind me leaving due to monthly cost.

Excellent customer service in the transfer of a uHaul box from LA to San Antonio. The coordination of dropping of the box at a storage facility went pretty smooth. Will definitely use them again.

I rented a trailer with a broken tire,lost two hours at El Paso Texas Station for repair. And in San Antonio we attended a person with no experience and los 2 hours. The service was very bad.

This location is severely understaffed on Saturday mornings. I view Saturdays as a peak time when maximum staffing is required. The wait was too long - I even had an "express check-in". Staff was nice
