The application used to upload photos of damage on the vehicle may need some work. It did not work properly using my iphone 13. It did not allow me to upload photos. The pictures of the vehicle that were already downloaded had one picture that was of a different truck. I was unable to indicate this when using the application. Everything else was fine.

That van was in horrible shape. The drivers side door would not open from the outside, tires were low causing the vehicle to jump around the road and pull to the right, there were cigarette burns in the seats

The gas light was on as soon I got in the truck my reservation was at 9am no one came inside the office until 30 minutes later as I was inside with several other customers waiting to pick up trucks

Filled gas PAST what we received in the vehicle and was still charged for one gallon. Ridiculous but it was just a quick move anyway. Will use someone else next time to avoid unnecessary fees.

Terrible experience. Waited in a long line to find out that there was no available truck for one way travel- which is what I reserved for. After the supervisor approved clearance for an in town truck to be taken one way, the truck I rented was missing its gas cap, with the fuel siphoned out of it. After I filled the tank and loaded the truck up, the transmission shuddered so hard on the trip that it rattled my belongings and broke many items. Logistics, security, and vehicle integrity were very disappointing. My company uses UHaul very often, but I will be mentioning my negative experience to them tomorrow.

I have been a U-Haul customer for years. I've always put my credit card to hold the vehicle for a deposit and I've always paid with cash when I was finished this time you guys aren't doing cash I had to stay in line and wait for another person to process this for cash I did not have time for that today. It was a very much an inconvenience And you need to correct that because I've always put a credit card down for the deposit and I've always paid cash when I brought the truck back this time I have to stand in another line because the lady that did me didn't know how to do it, you need to train your people Correctly and they all need to be able to process a crash payment because now I'm not gonna go through U-Haul ever again because this was a nightmare and I only had the truck from 10 AM to 2 PM and I had to stand in line for over an hour to get the truck and I had to stand in line for 45 minutes to return it. That is unacceptable .

I start by saying that I am a long time repeat customer. I have always been satisfied with your customer service. I was very disappointed with my latest experience. On 3/14/24 I ordered a truck for 03/20/24 at 9:30am. The day before our scheduled pick up an email from you indicated an update to a different pick up location at 1:00pm. Later that same day another update came for a different pick up location. We changed all our plans to accommodate the change of time. When we arrived the next day we were checked in and sent to a lot offsite to get our truck. My driver told me the gas cover was off and I drove back to the office to make them aware. They asked me to drive back to the truck to start it to make sure there was gas. It was completely empty! I was told to come back in the office to get another truck. After the process we drove to the second truck. When it was started it was empty as well. By this time we had been at the U-Haul office for an hour and 20 minutes. We were told that we could take the second truck and get gas ourselves just down the street which we did because our move by now was way behind. The whole experience was very irritating and unprofessional. This was a One Way truck which we returned the next day at a facility two hours away. The employee at the drop off location said she was not expecting THIS truck and it was short of gas. We told her it was ZERO gas when it was picked up. I will need to make at least two more moves but I am reluctant to use U-Haul for this process because I don't know what to expect or how I can plan.

For any issues, U-Haul pushes the app and there is very little viable other choise; however, the U-Haul app did not work. It did not recognize the email or mobile phone number I used on the reservation, so I could not log in. When I attempted to create a new profile, it sent me a verification code which I immediately entered (I did this numerous times) and always got an error message that said the code had expired!? The truck turn signal indicator worked randomly ... many times the left signal would not work and the right signal would go on in the neutral position. The tire monitor would go on after 50 miles with a message ... however, when I would stop and check the tires, there was no problem. The driver's side visor is broken and falling out. The sliding rear door cable on the passenger side is fraying. Never again UHaul for me! And this doesn't begin to cover the absolute nightmare I encountered when I made a reservation at the same time for a storage unit in Pueblo West.

The entrance to the facility is basically in an alley behind several buildings, making it uncomfortable due to the area and vagrants asking for money in exchange for "helping." We noticed a couple of them piggy backing into the facility after customers used a code to open the entrance, when gaining access to the building. We came during the day and it did not feel safe, which I could only imagine it would feel even less safe after dark. We were stuck on the after unloading our first load into our unit on the second floor. Presumably, "another customer had not closed the door on the 3rd floor after exiting the freight elevator." We paged the helpdesk and were told they would be right over… we could hear other customers on the first floor getting frustrated and yelling up the elevator shaft for someone to close the door so they could also use the elevator. After 15+ minutes, we finally heard the office tenant yell up to "take the emergency exit to get out." Once we got outside, the tenant stated she could not gain access from the outside because her co-worker had taken the key with them when they left. She also said that they had been having issues with the elevator not working properly for "a while now.." We got stuck the second trip up to our unit and had another person on the first floor check the elevator door, to find out it was closed, but not sending the elevator up. They opened and shut the elevator again, and immediately it sent the elevator up. This is a frustrating and inconvenient flaw or operational issue that wastes a great deal of time and patience during an already unpleasant chore.. moving.. it would be helpful if there was a stairwell inside of the building to gain access between floors in these elevator door sensitivity instances. We were eventually able to finish our move in and monitored the elevator doors very closely.. moving as quickly as possible to avoid having to close them between moves.. we were lucky it wasn't a very busy time and no one was inconvenienced by us holding up the elevator between trips.

I used less mileage on 3.9.2024 and paid $53.44. My previous rental I paid $49,3 on 2.25.2024 and paid $4930. I was told that I would be credited back and was not. Both times I made sure the tank was full. When I get credited back I will then have a good review to give. Currently I was not told the truth.

Waited 25 minutes for counter service. Only one customer ahead of me. One counter worker serving that customer, a second counter worker outside performing minor repair. My presence was not acknowledged for 15 minutes. Employee was sarcastic when I responded to her that I was there for a reservation time 25 minutes earlier. Stopped my intake process to take an internal call on speaker phone with co-worker's complaints about a customer not paying storage business charges. Yard and office empty of employess when I returned vehicle.

I was overcharged for the truck rental. I lost atleast an hour of my life and moving time each time I went in due to disorganization and other people's orders being mishandled as well. Customer service is horrible. Though, I had positive interactions with Barnaby and he did his best, the problem is higher than the service people. My ubox arrived damaged or was damaged onsite I lost my entire couch and half of my furniture, supplies, clothing and some irreplaceable items.

The cost Vs the timing is not a great value. You spend about 30 minutes getting your rental and then miles you pay for. Overall nice to be able to use something you don't own but value time and cost not great return.

I am delighted with my experiences yesterday, Sunday, 2-18-2024...I had the good fortune to be helped by General Manager Jasmine Gardner. She was suberbly competent, quick, and totally well-versed in the business. I just rented a storage room, and a van for a day's move. I thought I would need it longer, but got the moving done in just one day. Early return? No problem. From what I have seen, this facility is a first-rate operation.

No improvements necessary, from my experience. Today, I had the good fortune to have the General Manager Jasmine Gardner handling my transaction. She was fabulous! I can see why she got promoted to manage the facility. Competent, quick, knowledgeable, and accurate...Ms. Gardner made the whole 2-part transaction - both renting a storage room AND renting a van for a local move of stuff into storage - a pleasant, swift, and easy experience.

OK, my whole move, though my truck was reserved 1,5-2 weeks ahead of time. Literally, everything from the day we were supposed to pick the truck up in Cheyenne to dropping the first load off at the storage unit we had rented and turning the truck in had been botched by a uhaul employee or an agent. It all resulted in my not getting an adequate truck, on time; thus making this move take 3 times longer, costing at least 2 times more and because the gal that took the truck in told me we were good when I wanted to pay any mileage that we had. She did we were good, so since we were good, I spent money on food since we didn't have mileage only to find 2 days y'all put a charge through that put me -$285 in my account, but we were good. The app was useless because supposedly this rental and any receipts were in another profile. The original agent said that because she didn't want to work on 12/26 so she had been getting rid of reservation for that day. The whole thing has left a really bad taste in my mouth. This is the one shot to fix things before I go the attorney/BBB/social media route.

The staff was actually friendly the general manager was unprofessional and unpleasant. The way she spoke to me was rude and she didn't follow up in a timely manner. She tried to charge me a late fee and threaten me with a lien on my property after all my items were gone. I had to file a formal dispute in order for a storage unit that I only used for a month and three days. I was disappointed because I have always used that particular uhaul facility for all my moving needs. As long as she manages that store I will not take my business there.

I did not feel secure going to and from unit. My Main reason I canceled my storage contract was my unit was on the 2nd floor. On 3 occasions with in 30 days I could not access my unit because the elevator was stuck up on the floors

The storage facility was clean and well maintained, however the temperature inside was was unbearable at times. The thermometer near my unit read more than 90° often, and the highest was 95°.

This was a troubling experience. There were a number of employees who discriminated against us for the whiteness of our skin and our hairstyles (or lack of hair in my husband's case). A lighter-skinned young black female with spiral curls was extremely hard to communicate with, and she denied us bigger rooms and bigger vehicles both times we were in there. The last day she seemed to disable our access card, which was very inconvenient. A black male employee locked us on the second floor when we were bringing our things. He knew we were up there because he talked to us. The only non-racist we encountered was the employee who first checked us in, a young, thin black girl with slightly darker skin. She was very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about the way the other girl was treating us.

For the first 3 weeks that I moved my items in. I had a lot of cockroach problems! I was frustrated but U-haul and the staff did address the situation vigorously and treated my unit 4 times a week for 3 weeks. I was happy that they took my situation seriously but very unhappy that I had a problem with cockroaches for nearly a month. The staff and management was very accommodating, however, and took my frustration seriously and assured me It was being addressed. It was being addressed and by the time I moved out one year and one month later, I no longer had any issues with cockroaches.

Checked in got insurance. Went to bldg. Elevator not working, someone left door open. Went to office, had to wait in line 20 minutes to tell employee. Was told to beat on door. Went to bldg to beat on door. Beat on door for 20 minutes. Wait in line for 20 minutes, Told employee still not working. Employee sent new employee to beat on door. 20 minutes later office employee walked by and commented are u still waiting and walked away. We continued to beat on door Meanwhile other storage customers went in and out saying this happens all the time. Finally the crack head living on 2nd floor closed doors. While I put my objects in storage I left doors open until another customer came and promised he would be sure to close doors. Well he didn't. I was yelling out of 3 rd story windows To get someone to close doors. Never ever will I close doors to allow use by anyone while I'm at facility. In stead of me contacting you about my dispute, you can contact me and. Convince me not to shoot your company down by every chance I get.

Matter of fact, I currently use life storage facility and &&&&& Uhaul Aurora Colorado storage facility evaluation: Several Uhaul staff members were rude, unhelpful, and very unprofessional including the head manager of that particular Uhaul facility. When I notified the manager that this is not my storage unit she has not returned my emails or calls. Colorado state law requires you show a valid ID to rent a storage unit. Since I was 1500 miles away, it wasn't me but the manager has been of no help.

I was sent an email saying I had fifteen days from November third to pay my storage and the manager auctioned it off before the date started in the written correspondence. The business being done is inaccurately presented in such a way that is more than negligent, it is predatory. I am not at all pleased with my experience even before the end of our business together.

I had no issues with the cleanliness of the building or with the staff, but I had a handful of times I was unable to access my storage because the elevator wasn't working. The inside elevator doors would not stay open they would close on me while trying to come in and out and it would hit me on the head. There was also a few times that I would be at my storage unit and trying to call the elevator and was stuck on the second floor for over 10 minutes. There was also no bathroom on the second floor for my daughter who is potty training to use. During the summer there is no ac on the second floor so it got hot very quickly. And to be completely honest, using the smallest unit available it was way to expensive. I will not ever reccomend this uhaul storage to anybody, and will not ever come here again.

Overall, during the five years we had the unit we only had a couple issues with the elevator not working or getting stuck in the building. Staff was a hit or miss. Most of the time they seemed unhappy to be working. Would probably rent again if needed due to convenience.

There is a dead rat in the rat trap in my unit and it STINKS. Office was closed when I discovered it so there was nothing I could do. It's currently rotting in the trap in my unit. Also, the bathroom in the building my other unit is in was flooded with dirty toilet water

I arrived yesterday around 7:45 pm to find out that the door was locked to access my storage. The machine was having a malfunction, and when I requested someone to speak to from the box outside of the storage - nobody picked up. I tried 3 different times and even went to the building across the street and tried calling from there. What kind of joke is this? Why was the storage door locked during open business hours?

I don't know why I received this in Spanish because I do not speak it. The U haul storage experience was a blessing to have a place to put my belongings while homeless. None the less, I felt they took advantage of my homelessness and gave me a unit that the lighting was bad (time out every 5 min). Horrible experience I don't suggest this place to anyone staff is rude and useless. Price that i was givin changed on the next month . You will get stuck on the 2nd or 3rd floor due to there only being one access then you have to wait for useless to get off there phones to come close the elevator so you can leave. Worse experience I've ever had with Uhaul you need to fire everyone and start over. Also if you call the manager you will never be contacted I got screwed out of a month's rent because the fire department shut the building down for 4 weeks. I called and left 4 messages all polite and got zero response.

Everything has been fine except for move out day when cat or Katherine was very rude to my kids and then to me she was disrespectful to us and was cussing at my children and me calling me ghetto and saying no wonder my kids are like this I really didn't appreciate her behavior as a manager she was out of line and very unprofessional that alone makes me feel like the year and a half was valued she will never get any of my time or money ever again... I rented a truck to go one way from Kentucky to Denver. I then rented a storage unit in Denver. Literally every single part of the trip that involved U-Haul was seamless, easy, and a great experience overall. I strongly recommend them As an aside, I previously rented a storage unit from cube smart. I will never do business with those folks again

The only complaint I have is that I walked into the U-Haul office on November 1st (the day my rent was paid through auto pay) and asked the following… "if I rent a truck from U-Haul today and clear out my storage today, will I get any money back on my rent that had just been paid for the entire month of November?" I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find out that I would not get anything back. I think that is ridiculous and unacceptable. At a minimum, I should have been given at least 1/2 a month back, knowing that you will likely re-rent that unit w/in 2 weeks. I was beyond disappointed in U-Haul as a company as a result. My family has spent quite a bit of money at U-Haul over the past year, and this situation will cause me/us to think twice and find alternate options the next time I need a truck or storage. Big fail on U-Haul's end!!!

Andrea is a very pleasant and helpful manager. The others team members were attentive and friendly. The young man that explained and showed me how things work was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The facility was clean. There were not enough rolling carts to go around and luckily the person next to us was just finishing up with his cart. The elevator stopped working and should be checked. Luckily we didn't need it but the other group of people that was there did need it. Overall I would recommend this location to others.

I rented the storage unit in April and couldn't get my stuff out because I couldn't see. I've contacted U-Haul through email stating that it would be fixed soon and wasn't. I left for FL in June and came back in August and still the light didn't work. The only answer I get since April is we know and working on it. When I have the chance I will contact the BBB and made sure O took videos of the lights not working and kept the emails stating you were going to fix something you never did and still charged my account.

The general manager Andrea is absolutely AMAZING!! I had a HORRIBLE experience at the 750 s Buckley location and went over to her store and she was so apologetic and extremely helpful to me! The building housing my storage unit was clean and well maintained, however the restroom no so much. When you are moving in, or out of a storage unit depending on the size of the unit, or how much time you spend there, at some point you are probably going to need to use the restroom. I was typically in and out of there quickly, but the couple of times that I did need to use the restroom it was below standards in my opinion. Was it the most disgusting restroom that I have ever seen, no it wasn't, but it needs more thorough cleaning, and more frequent attention, especially given that it isn't a public restroom, so not just anybody has access to it. The only other problem that I had was that I moved into the unit in late May 2021 with the promo of 'One month free'. Before I completed my first paid, and first free month I received a notice of an increase on my rent. One of the reasons given was to ensure facility upkeep and cleanliness! This is the same facility that doesn't keep the restrooms clean! Bad move. First of all I just moved in and you are already increasing my rent! On top of that you say it's to help keep the facility clean, and I don't even want to use the restroom because it's just not clean enough??!! That's a hard pass for me. I immediately gave notice to move out. The general manager said that she doesn't decide when the rent is going to be increased, which is probably true, but software is a thing. They should have a program that can flag the move in date of each unit, and send an increase based on when you moved in, not just the same random date for everybody!! It leaves a bad taste when you just moved in!! At the end of the day, I found a facility that is much closer to my home, super clean, and at a price that I can live with! Having said all of that, the staff was always friendly, though the wait could be long sometimes even with just a couple of customers in ahead of you. Overall it was a fine experience, but could have been better.

We were dealing with an unexpeted situation that day, so finding a place that has truck rentals, AND storage facilities was awsome! We had previously decided to use a storage facility in Lone Tree, (which is VERY CLEAN) and closer to were we live, but having been given a unit in your newer building across the street which is also clean, AND brightly lit, we just decided to take advantage of the convenience of what you offer. Now when you are moving it takes time, so at some point you are probably going to need to use the restroom. That is where you guys fell down a little bit. While it wasn't throw-up inducing disgusting, it could have used some attention. There was dried #2 residue in the toilet bowl. The fact that it was dry, and would not even flush away after a couple of us used the facility indicates that it was probably left there from much earlier in the day (or maybe even from a previous day), and is really not acceptable. The bathroon should probably be checked AT LEAST once an hour, and the employees should be required to bring the proper cleaning materials with them EVERY SINGLE time, so that they can address whatever problem they encounter. They aren't going to use their hands to clean a dang somewhat public toilet, which is obviously understood. That's why they need to bring a toilet brush with them (or maybe even leave one in the bathroom) because NO ONE is going to steal a nasty toilet brush. Cleaning the toilet regularly will also cut down on stinky bathroom odors. We got hungry at a certain point and ran to grab some food to bring back to the facility (we ate it on the curb outside), so we needed to wash our hands. Dealing with the bathroom right before eating was frankly, GROSS! Other than the bathroom, I was quite happy with the experience. All of the employees we friendly, and the guy that helped us was great!

The access door to the facility was not working right any of the three times that I've been to the facility, including moving in. My access card would not open the door. The staff said the door hadn't been working right because people had been propping it open. I had to go into the office to have a staff member open the storage facility doe for me.

I had my storage units at this location for a year. The staff was always kind and helpful. They were willing to assist me with a whole host of requests that went beyond their their scope of typical services and they always did so while maintaining a friendly attitude. The owner was available to help and kept a watchful eye on situations, which was nice, but the few times I needed help and he wasn't there, it was nice to know his staff was willing to follow his lead. I hope I won't ever need to store items again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call on this U-Haul Storage facility.

I just recall having to wait a very long time in the store to reserve the Uhaul unit and was having issues with connecting someone online. Then when I got on the phone it was taking a while. Eventually, I ended up moving my stuff to Edgemark which is closer to where I am staying adding convenience for me. Thank you for reaching out.

Everything was great except when I came in on May 11th to reserve or secure my reservation she really did not secure it and when I arrived with the movers on May 12th at 11:30 am it took the computer a really long time and I was paying movers $100 and hour. That got sort of pricey...and they were hungry and slowed down even more.

It's a nice facility. The manager is too touchy and could use training in how to handle upset customers cause they do not honor reservations and he has no skills when a customer is upset by that.
