Add some chairs in the waiting area because it takes a while to get registered even if there is an active reservation. It's not sanitary to sit on the boxes that people may buy.

The general manager honestly needs help I didn't check into the uhaul place until 2:51 and I got there at 2 exactly. I'm the type of person to understand only one person can't do it all I would hope the company knows that too.

This location was ok the Wilmington NC location was a problem . They charged me for 2 extra days of rental when I returned the U Hail a day earlier

Staff would have rather me check-in equipment via App rather than in person. I asked for help returning my truck and checking out, which they tried to continue to push me to do online and assured me that it would get handled if I just left the truck where it was. Every other Uhaul experience I've had in person has been great with checking equipment back in, but I will not be back to this location if I can help it.

I have rented from this location more than 50 times in the past. This was my worst experience ever. Must be different management. I will now consider paying more and renting elsewhere.

First of all u ppl need to tell customers that they don't get a refund back and the workers did not have any customer service skills jus rude and the representative got angry because I wanted to change trucks because it was dirty and the check engine light was on even the next trucks engine light was on. If I ever need another u haul I'll jus rent from someone else

This location was great(I picked the location for having the best summary of reviews in my area). When mobile check in failed me I had to go in to check in. There was a nice lady who told me everything I need to know and made sure I knew what I was paying for. She made the check in experience wonderful. I then returned the U-Haul and that was the easiest drop off experience. The truck was well maintained and service was great . Will use again in the future.

Had a good experience with the staff, but my overall experience using this particular uhaul was terrible. The truck has clearly not been well maintained and probably shouldn't be on the road let alone be charged for it. Halfway through our drive on the highway the motor? made a loud noise and started to shake. We stopped four times to make sure it was safe to drive. The check engine light was on and the truck shook uncontrollably the entire time. We couldn't go over 20 miles an hour. I was so glad to get it back to the location, we couldn't get rid of it fast enough.

Just a few miles after picking up the truck, the tire pressure light came on and I had to find a tire shop to air up the tires. Also, the knob on the apparatus to roll down the window was broken off, which made it difficult to roll it down.

Agent at this location was stressed out, location was too full. Agent did not check-in truck until reminded by head office twice 2 days after truck was actually returned.

I put the gas right back on same level I met it, to my surprise I got charged almost $20 for gas. That was way too outrageous. No wonder your workers will always say the key should be left in the ignition while you can go. If the equipment was checked in immediately such nonsense wouldn't happen. It doesn't make sense. Between late last month and March 7 I have rented truck in same location 3 times. I am not new to uhaul to say the least.

My reservation wasn't ready at my pickup time at 9AM. The tow dolly had a flat tire. After waiting for the employee to inflate the tire, I was told it was safe to go. Less than 3 miles away, smoke began billowing off the trailer. I immediately pulled over and called Uhaul roadside assistance. I inspected the trailer, and saw tire that was previously flat was now rubbing on the frame of the dolly which was bent into the tire. Roadside assistance informed me to stay where I was and wait for a tow truck. The tow truck arrived 2 hours later and took the dolly back to Uhaul. Roadside assistance told me I could get another dolly at a second location. When I arrived, no dolly was available and the staff were confused why I was told to come there. After another 20 minutes, I was told a 3rd location now can serve me with a tow dolly. I drove to this location and picked it up. After half a day wasted on such a simple reservation, I returned the truck and dolly to the Uhaul center in the lane used for returns. I spoke with the two employees standing outside and was informed to leave the keys in the truck and to expect a receipt via e-mail 10-15min later. When I got into my vehicle to leave, I was flagged down by a separate employee who wanted me to get back into the truck and to help them put away the dolly in their congested parking arrangement. They complained that it "wasn't their job or responsibility" and that I "would be charged for this." I was promised a reimbursement for this complete waste of a day, but I wasn't. I'll never patronize Uhaul again.

This U-Haul location is run like a circus. Take the U-Haul symbol off the sign and have the employees change their shirt, you would think we are at a liquor store on 8 mile. Even the employees run their mouth and try to get you angry. Won't use this place again. You guys should be ashamed to have a location like this.

I made a reservation on Feb 6th but the day of my pick Feb 23rd i got a call my uhaul would be in one place & tower in another. Had to pay extra since I had to get them in different places unlike I had it for my reservations. VERY inconvenient!!!

They asked me to sign my contract before explaining it to me. Asked me to do them a favor and put more gas in the truck to receive a credit that wouldn't have covered the cost of the gas. Attendant was not professional at all. I'll never rent from this uhaul again. Once I signed the contract then he told me about the gas thing.

The store had us waiting for 3+ hours for a scheduled tow dolly pick-up. The associate disappeared for hours to attempt to fix a strap on the dolly when there was a working dolly on-site. This was in addition to U-Haul calling us the night before to tell us the site didn't have the truck we had reserved weeks before. Overall a miserable experience.

I tried to contact them for several weeks about this unit before moving out of state but no one ever returned any of my messages. They then proceeded to harass me about the unit once my card was no longer on file (I removed the card due to not being able to get any help from them and the situation I was in). I know there was a brand new bed frame, mattress, box spring, and flat screen tv in the unit so I honestly refuse to believe that they only made $5 after the sale of it. Just shady all around and I don't plan on paying them anything.

Well they told me to vehicle was on full and it's on 1/4 also when I go back in to tell them they tell me when my mobile app comes through to put it on there to take a picture of it well I did that and I don't see anywhere on this where I can do that and I'm not paying for extra gas I'll shut my bank account down

Our truck tailgate was damaged on pickup and return of trailer! Two different employees and both slammed the trailer hitch into out tailgate. We have made a claim and will need to get repaired. What a pain!!! They were not overly concerned about the damage , just said make a claim, like it happens everyday. Uhaul needs to train their employees how to handle trailers! We will not be renting from them again! Once is an accident , twice is ridiculous and needs to be addressed to protect future customers!!!

This is by far my FAVORITE U-Haul location. I've had to move 3 times in the last 4 months and they're incredible. The customer service is unmatched. Everyone deserves a raise!

The rating in for Mr. Donnell. He had the patience of Job. He showed us our storage unit and correct lock for it. We were grateful for his patient assistance. Should we need UHAUL again we will wait for Mr. Donnell. Please upgrade you computer response. Thanks Brenda Patterson

The location is in need of some major upgrades, very outdated. However, the staff was more than friendly, professional and willing to help which made me overlook some housekeeping/conveniences I'd normally not ignore.

I had a really poor experience at the trailer rental company. The waiting time was excessively long, and it made me feel frustrated and annoyed. When I finally got the trailer, it was in really bad shape. The condition of the trailer was pretty poor, and it was clear that it hadn't been properly maintained. The straps that are supposed to secure my car to the trailer were very rusty and difficult to use, which made the process of loading and unloading my car quite challenging. All in all, it was a really unpleasant experience that left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.

Justin, Reggie and the rest of the UHAUL UNCG team members went above and beyond the standard level of service to help me store some items the day my father passed. I'm very grateful for how they stepped in to support me through the stress and confusion we had to navigate.

The storage unit I had reserved online was full of furniture upon arrival. I was transferred to a more expensive unit without being made aware that the unit costs more money. The place is understaffed, every time I came in it seemed like the staff was bothered by doing their job

While the facility is equipped with good locks, lighting, and cameras, there is a damaged U-Haul truck and a considerable amount of debris next to loading dock. From their comments, it was evident the staff believe the debris to belong to an unhoused person, that he uses the damaged truck for storage, and they are accustomed to this. The unhoused person entered the storage space while I was vacating. While the interior was clean, there was broken glass littering the loading dock when I arrived. Given the availability of more-secure storage in the area, I would not recommend this location to a friend, at least not without sharing my experience.

I came there it was about 6 the man said that he was let me have more time than I went back there to load my stuff up he put me upstairs on ladder so I am 55 years old and I am disabled that is dangerous and then I moved my stuff and I saw roaches all over the place climbing out of people's storage and then the guy came back and said oh yeah I'm almost finished we say yeah we're gonna have a couple of pieces left and then he brings his black big black guy there and he um He did not introduce herself He did not introduce herself he just came in and said yeah I got to leave and come back tomorrow that I was in the 7th o'clock so you cannot get your store unit at the 7 o'clock I think that is unfair

I been getting charged for a storage I never used the seal is still on the unit I never broke it because I didn't like how the storage building look and it wasn't secured. I felt like my stuff wouldn't be taken care of in that storage facilities for it to be a climate control unit. Everytime I try to go to store to turn in key card it's always a long wait and the gentleman wouldn't just let us drop off the key card so my card been getting auto charged monthly $49,99 which I found out they from customer service that shouldn't been happening if they walked their units and saw I never took off there ziptie and never put my personal lock on. I will try and turn in key card again next week but I most definitely wouldn't recommend this climate control unit.

Arrived to turn my truck in at 8:30 am. Storage manager wasn't available or anyone who access to let me get my unit I reserved the evening prior. I was told to hold on to truck until I get a call back and that was at 10:45 almost 11:00. I missed important business meetings that day and damage had already been done to me. I would like to be compensated.

Everyone I had an exchange with there (in the past two days, bottom of the 9th/crunchtime in Operation: Move-Out while you figure life around, in & out & above the call of duty) so far was kind, patient, professional, informative, detail-oriented, respectful and thorough. 2 days in a row, different team members at 911 W. GATE CITY Greenboro, NC location took good care of me at 2 minutes before 7pm closing time. Really truly appreciate the whole squad going above & beyond. When I first moved in, I had to drive laps around the building to try to find where to unload my trailer because the directions from the front office were so poor. It wasn't until I found someone working in the back that I had better instructions and was shown how to access my unit. I was also told that I had to have the lock that U-Haul sold but saw several units with different locks, which meant I was clearly lied to. There were several times my access card failed to open the door, despite following the proper steps. The "loading dock" door routinely failed to close, leaving the facility unsecured. Items such as carts and the ladder (which was not easily moveable) were routinely left in the hallway, making it difficult to get to my unit without risking injury. When I'd ask the staff for assistance, I'd be met with an attitude like I was an inconvenience. Overall, the services I received was a ripoff for the price I was paying. I'd sell/donate everything I own before I stored with U-Haul again.

We had a good experience with you all up until we moved our things from your facility. We moved out in January 2021 even rented a truck from you all to do so. We have received text messages, emails and phone calls until March about late payments on the storage. I even called to talk to someone to tell them that we were no longer there and they said something was wrong with their system and it kept contacting old customers and he would fix the issue. Spoke with someone else and told her that we had been long gone, she informed me that we couldn't have moved out the correct way because they didn't have record of it, even though we rented the truck from them to move the stuff. They kept asking was the unit empty and was the lock gone. Of course both of those things had happened, but why didn't they know that and they work there. Needless to say I will never rent a space from this facility, way to much confusion once you have moved.

The front desk associate got be lost trying to find my locker and acted shocked when I had a free month because of my trailer rental even though I showed her the reservation email and pulled up with it. She also didn't explain how to access the facility to get to my locker. The one working the yard was more helpful.

The gate never worked properly. The card i used to swipe didn't always work. The clerks behaved as though someone was interrupting their nap when I walked in to ask for assistance. Not friendly at all. Uhaul should prorate. I moved out the same day I was charged for a full month of renting.

I expected more from U-Haul. The upper lever units are terrible to store heavy furniture as it is only a unit on top of another like a high locker. It was after the fact that I was informed that these lockers are mostly meant for college students with limited belongings. I barely got 1 bedroom set in the lower unit minus the mattress set. I was very disappointed. The only reason I gave the second star is due to the help staff. I would not recommend this particular site for storage for houses.

This time I did take advantage of the storage unit. The unit is very accessible, however a little darker inside than I expected. Other than that, the best location by far. My reservation was for a unit that wasn't available when I arrived. I had to wait 40 minutes for the manager to talk to me after walking past me six times. To be told that my reservation didnt matter.
