This was the most amazing experience start to finish. The equipment I rented ended up not being available and I was called immediately and they provided me with a larger size truck at a more convenient pick up location at no charge. I was able to easily rent and handle everything online and it was so user friendly. Thanks U-Haul!!

I picked up my Uhaul on 3/22/2024 at 4100 Florin Perkins Rd. Sacramento CA, 95826 so I could move my family belongings to Tennessee. I ordered 2 packs of moving blankets. I received 2 blankets, not 2 packs. The blankets were not folded, the back of the truck was not swept. I had the rep at the pick up location marked a few dings and dents. The interior was not cleaned out either, with coffee stains on the cupholders. The check engine light came on minutes after leaving the pickup location, and remained on the entire trip. Where it all went real bad is when I was cleaning out the truck (both the area in the back and the cab), I found A LOADED 0,22 CALIBER PISTOL UNDER THE SEAT. This pistol did not have a trigger guard, and is semi-automatic. Had I been involved in an accident or hit a very hard bump, the pistol could have fired both rounds and I could have had 2 0,22 caliber bullets ricocheting around the cab. While driving though CA, if I was pulled over and the cab searched for some reason, the officer would have found this LOADED CONCEALED FIREARM. I would have been subject to multiple felonies (concealed weapon without permit, carrying a loaded firearm, having an unregistered firearm). My 3 year old son was in the cab with me when I found the weapon. I then called the Memphis PD to have them come pick up the firearm and make a report. When I turned in the truck to the UHaul location on 3/28/2024 at 370 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38103 and told them about the weapon, they were not concerned, said there was nothing they could do, and that I needed to call the pickup location. They also said I could call UHaul corporate. I called the pickup location, let them know what happened, and was told to call UHaul customer service. I then called UHaul customer service to file a complaint. The rep on the phone took my information, and said that someone would get back to me in 3 business days. No one responded to me by Tuesday 4/2/2024. On Tuesday 4/2/2024, I filed a claim with repwest, since I purchased SafeMove+ for 199.99. After filing the claim, I called the Uhaul customer service line and was connected with Karina C. She was the first person at UHaul to voice concern over the situation. She let me know that no one at the store levels in either Sacramento or Memphis noted that I had found a LOADED FIREARM, and that the customer service person I spoke to on 3/28/2024 did not follow the proper procedures in regard to what happened. Apparently those people were hoping I would just go away. Karina told me that she had escalated this situation to the Sacramento Marketing Company President Melissa Easley and her assistant Rebecca Luna at 916-929-7555. I am expecting to get a full refund of the $3 709,92 I spent to be unwilfully and unknowing subject to possible death or imprisonment.

The Mgr., Tisha was so pleasant, listened well and very helpful. She accepted the payment for the 1st truck $1269.72. I am not tech savvy & entered wrong info for the trucks return (COST ME BIG TIME!). I had to pay before I could get the 2nd truck; yet I got an email saying it wasn't paid!! I have my receipt & it came out of my acct. But, my service was great!!! No problem with the truck @all. Thank you! Ms. C. Baker

U-haul quietly cancelled my reservation with an email - NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL - the night before our move. Had to travel way out of the way in a crappy area to finally get a truck. NEVER AGAIN. BARTLETT LOCATION.

Better return instructions for the site in Memphis and better organization for the site in Englewood, Co because they had the trailer reported stolen! But everything was worked out perfect! Just be careful and pay attention!

Put the customer's need before your own! I had a paid employee sitting up there for over 2 hours waiting on the truck! THEN, he had to go to another location to get a truck!!! It cost me way too much & no one even offered an apology! Much less, given me a discount for my time, inconvenience & $ wasted!!!

The manager LeTeshaies Hill called me and yelled at me over the phone accusing me of purposefully "screwing her over" and threatened to charge me triple the price if I don't bring the uhaul back. I dropped it off at the wrong location unknowingly due to it being the first time Ive ever rented a uhual. She refused to listen to me and told me that everything I'm saying is excuses and the guy who helped me didnt go over anything, he just checked if my phone and email matched and gave me the keys. DO NOT go to this location. The manager is rude, ghetto, and disrespectful. A person like her does not need a job in customer service whatsoever.

My experience was fine/average. There was nothing special or extra helpful about the employees or drive. I was thankful the truck did not smell like marijuana, even though the inside of the store smelled a little funky. Would recommend this location to friends. And I will go here first if I need to rent a U-Haul.

The truck that I received was dirty. Candy in the door. Spilled drink on the floor. I booked a dolly with my truck and was told when I got there that they were out. The staff were very unprofessional.

Just have one outstanding question: I rented a 10 ft. truck for $19,95 for 3 hours; purchased $8 worth of fuel which more than replaced what I used, and my total charge was $53! No explanation was given to satisfy the difference, nor was a breakdown given on my invoice/receipt. I am still waiting on a return phone call from their home office. Clearly their special offer comes full of loopholes!

Josh did well to communicate with me. Whoever was in charge of cleaning vehicles when they return didn't do well. Vehicle was recently smoked in and the windshield was so dirty I had to pull over and clean it.

The young lady Chara who works at the Union Avenue facility took an automatic deduction from my bank account which was not authorized by me. I reported this incident to your corporate headquarters, complaints department. The only thing that was inconvenient for me was the hours that I could access my unit. I just wished it was 24 hours. This didn't affect my decision to stop using storage, I finally found a place to call home. I absolutely loved the staff at this location. The manager should get a raise, she's just the best. Once, I forgot to lock my unit and left the door open. She put a lock on it for me until I came back again. I felt like she was always willing to work with me if I was late, maybe it was the policy but she made me feel like she was looking out for me. I will miss chatting with her. Thanks for letting me use the storage. Also, I frequently rent your trucks and I'll say It's always hassle free and effortless, except the hauling furniture part. Thanks Again!

They changed me for 2 storage when I want to other u haul and they told me that they will give me one price once but a storage if I need more room. They give me 2 small storage when I had a 3 bedroom house and living room and den it wasn't a offer move and I move out on the march 1 and they still charge me to move out I will never came back to U-Haul to order me a storage never again if you only have something small you should give a person one price on a storage I'm only going to order a truck from our

Wen i made it to my drop off location the managers insisted I could not the discount offered to me. After 30 minutes I received the discount. Next, I was told at my drop off location I had until 7 pm to finish unloading to turn in my rental equipment. i was done near 6 and the office was still open. As I was standing behind a customer I pulled out of line and told I was not to expect a refund in cash although I paid in cash.i was asked for a receipt but had not checked the Renta equipment in yet. I received the run around. After I stated how I really wanted my money I left the office when I tried to come back in I was treated in a hostile manner while being stopped at the door. The Uhaul company on Union Avenue. The GM Crystal called was very unresponsive.I was stereotyped.i was told I couldn't enter the store due to me being upset with the service.i asked to return the key to my truckand was told I couldn't receive a invoice a piece of paper that shows at least I did return the equipment. I couldn't get any respect unless I was the white man in front of me who's received sympathy for his car being stolen although I had just traveled over 300 miles with two little kids and little no help unloading or loading my home. This is false advertising by uhaul and complete discrimination by the assistant manager who the GM Mom when she called to get authorization to go forward with my first month of free storage. I will never recommend uhaul of Memphis on Union Avenue.they so wish washy and so clicked up you can't get your money back if a deposit was made at least I can't.

Should be able to rent after 3. The young man working at 4:30 on Thursday 9-2-21 was not helpful or polite. The ladies early morning on Friday 9-3-21 were helpful, polite & competent.

The most rude and unprofessional staff I have ever e8. I have never been to an establishment where employees were so out of line. It stinks that these people seem to not like their jobs, but don't take it out on the customer...honestly this location need a makeover with employees or to be completely shut down. I have don't business with Uhaul many times. This experience takes the cake and Iwill be considering other options in the future for my moving and storage needs.

For the price that it cost me to store my items in the storage it wasn't really well kept. I had over $500 in damaged items. There was nice that got into the unit and ate threw my brand new mattresses and urinated on them. They ate kids clothes toys electronics and even toiletries like powder and soaps. I didn't think that having everything packaged in plastics and boxed down would still cause so much damage. I had this unit from July 2019 to Jun 2021 and the price went up and the maintenance went down. This was an awful experience and u-haul must do better. I still have went through everything as of yet but I know there may be more damaged items bsce some boxes are covered in rat feces and urine. Thanks one of your valued customers
