This time after picking up trailer, both safety chains fell off as I was going down the turnpike. Trailer was also given to me full of snow - I had to clean it out myself before using. Last month I rented a different trailer and they never hooked up the trailer brake. These people are dangerous!!

Make sure that they are clearly listening when asking for a one way, I stated I needed a one way and the lady at the counter still gave a in town. I stated multiple times I needed a one and she proceeded to give me a in town anyway. This location doesn't listen to its customers and clearly the management doesn't care. My account is now in the negative all because the person helping me didn't listen. Someone was supposed to contact me from management said Xavier from customer service. NO ONE HAS YET TO REACH OUT TO ME. Thanks a lot

The storage facility was immaculate and maintained extremely high levels. The manager during my storage stay was helpful and encouraging due to my situation. She made my intake and move out smooth and handled me with dignity and compassion. I always recommend this facility to friends and family.

I went 14 miles total round trip. They tried to charge me a $9 gas charge even though I had put a gallon of gas in the truck. I had to explain that $9 was rediiculous. I appreciate the correction. I had to point out damage on truck in 2 areas of back end. Driver side mirror was cracked. There were other pick ups sitting in lot. Truck cab smelled like marijuana.

Between jacking up rent on customers like myself who had long term storage there to cover bs conversions of un climate control areas to climate control which other then moving a few walls that was it. Our rates should have been locked in place and new renters could have paid the higher price. To being lied to while moving out being told the dock doors weren't working which turned out to be a huge lie. I had to move many many times via wheeled carts in the pouring rain in 35 degrees weather. I now am fighting with pneumonia due to lies told by your uhaul bedford office. I would recommend you guys to house a dog in a ditch if it meant he had a roof over his head for a day out of fear you would tell him he could stay for free for a night then the following morning tell him he owes a week's worth.

As always the people at the front desk were incredibly professional and thorough. Very friendly and pleasant to work with. The vehicle however had a couple problems. The windshield was very dirty. Inside and out. I wasn't able to get the smear on the outside of the windshield off with wipers and wiper fluid or with a soft cloth. It appeared to be something greasy. The inside of the windshield was dirty enough that I had significant glare when returning the vehicle in the evening. The other problem was the vehicle (TT8009E) had a problem with the brakes. The brake pedal felt somewhat soft when I got in the vehicle but I initially thought that this is just the difference between any truck and my passenger car. The brakes did work during the entire trip. However, near the end of the trip, when I stopped to turn onto the main street, and then again to turn onto my street, the brakes squealed VERY loudly so I believe they do need maintenance.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received from U-Haul regarding my storage unit. One of the primary concerns I have revolves around the lock that I purchased from U-Haul. Unfortunately, there have been multiple instances where the lock did not work, preventing me from accessing my storage unit for weeks. Despite my attempts to seek assistance, I consistently faced challenges in finding the right person to help me. On several occasions, the staff present lacked either the necessary access or tools, such as lock cutters, to resolve the issue promptly. Moreover, when I sought compensation for the time wasted and lost due to these recurring problems, I was met with unhelpful responses. The lack of a prorated refund for the month, despite not being able to access my unit for an extended period, added to my frustration. It is disheartening to experience such difficulties and receive no meaningful resolution. Yesterday, as I went in to clean out my unit, I requested someone to verify its cleanliness and condition. To my surprise, I was simply told to take a picture. This response does not align with the level of service I expected from a reputable company like U-Haul. A more thorough and professional inspection process should be in place to ensure customer satisfaction and the proper handling of vacated units. Additionally, I have been waiting for a return call regarding the refund of my deposit and the prorated amount left on my bill since I paid for the entire month but moved out early. The lack of communication on this matter only adds to the frustration and disappointment I have experienced throughout this ordeal. I sincerely hope that this email prompts a thorough investigation into the issues raised and results in a swift and satisfactory resolution. I believe in the importance of customer feedback for continuous improvement, and I trust that U-Haul values its customers and their concerns. From check in to return it went very smooth. I was not able to use the app to checkout due to your app locator to verify if I was at the correct location. it just circled not stop. The passenger cabin of my cargo van was VERY dirty and seemingly unsanitary. The steering wheel and dashboard had a sticky residue on them and the floor was full of smeared and dried mud.

On numerous occasions the sliding doors were locked/broken and we had to walk all the way around to load/unload and there is always broken glass or debris in the hallways. The overhead doors to pull into the bay didn't work half the time. Not to mention the price increases. The staff was mostly friendly but again a little lackluster on cleanliness. We were customers for a while and we just noticed a decline in cleanliness and upkeep.

From your amazing website that I booked my reservation to my return experience at check in the entire process was amazing. The young girl at the counter was kind and very personable.(Tamika I believe) She gave me very detailed instructions and wished me well. The truck was clean and everything operated as it should. Upon return the gentleman was kind and gave detailed instructions of how the process would end and how to expect my receipt. I could not tell you the last time I needed to rent a moving truck, but I will tell you where I will go and who I would recommend. Moving can be stressful and a little kindness goes a long way.(especially on a Sunday, lol)

I have problems with payment when I was promised a free month they took the money anyway said three times. They were gone to reverse it and didn't, and then ended up charging me a late fee. I finally got it taken care of but it was an issue and then when I went to get my stuff out of storage Saturday. There was an issue. None of the doors worked except the front door so we had to hold it open so everyone getting their stuff out had to use the same door and according to the lady upfront at the register, the doors have been broken for a Wow. I'm not sure why she said that was such confidence because that should be fixed right away and she actually said for months really did not seem concerned that people were having an issue getting into their storage facility but it's probably not her fault since she's just working out front. She doesn't own the place.

John at the Bedford Hts facility was amazing helpful and accommodating. However, while I was in in Florida and had my things in storage it was extremely hard to contact the Bedford facility directly. Seems every time I called I get rerouted all the time and told that their line was constantly busy and unable to get a live person. People would tell me tell that they were emailing someone from there and texting but I would never receive a call back. I don't actually believe anyone sent them messages to call me. It was very frustrating. I actually had to have my fiancé stop in there for me. Which is why I'm so surprised bc John has been so wonderful and helpful and I'm sure he would have been for the year I was out of town and had billing issues while I was away with my auto deduction from my account bc it never set up right. That's the only unfortunate part and inconvenient part of my 15 month storage stay. But Bedford Hts was it set was great.

The moving and storage process is easy and convenient for traveling and transferring. Products they offer to rent or buy is reasonable in price. So I recommend this storage and rental and the safety and security is very good.

The overall noise level in the facility, particularly in the Loading Dock Area, can be deafening at times. All those beeping sounds, alarms and the like are loud and fatiguing. Also, the restroom had no toilet paper on Saturday, September 3, 2022.

The Entrance at the door needs to be leveled bcoz there is a crack and as I pushed some end tables through it causes one to fall off and break! I'm hoping I can fix it and I'm sure I'm not the first complaint about that! Also I just got back driving across country and has some garbage that needed thrown away and there is no garbage can in sight!! Only a litttle tiny one in the bathroom! I couldn't believe there isn't a garbage can anywhere! Also I'm supposed to get 7 days with the truck and trailer and the trailer I picked the trailer up the next night but also I picked it up in phoenix AZ and left there at around 10 am which If I get 7 full days I shouldn't have return till that time I returned in Ohio and there is a 3 hour time difference so It should be returned by 1pm in ohio to make a full 7 days! I was getting harassed to hurry up because it said not should be returned at 10 in ohio but that means I'm punished for 3 hour time difference! If I fly to Phx and leave here at 9am and land there at 10am doesn't mean it took an hour becasue it's still a 4 hour flight and same goes coming from PHOENIx If i take off at 9 am and land at 4 pm that's 7 hrs but the flight is still 4 hrs not 7hrs! I would like to see that get fixed and I'm hoping I don't get charged for late return because if that happens then I didn't get my full 7 days and that's not fair to the customers! But we shall see

Everything was smooth and easy from accessing the unit to finding ample parking. The facility had very clear instructions and directions which assisted for and even easier move. My ONLY concern: there are two buzzer systems in which needed to be utilized before entry; yet, they are not as clear to show which needs to be used first and in what order. That is confusing. I've entered the facility twice after my original move-in date, and I still get very confused!

Yes and no for excellent regarding cleanliness Once the restroom was very nasty. A couple of times, the area smelled of a dead animal or rotten food. Both of these negatives seem to have improved. I know the smell has; not sure of the restroom because I've not used the restroom since the bad experience with it

Staff was very polite and helpful. More than enough dollies and convenient access. I really loved the drive in access, considering it protects you from rain or snow when you want to go into your store. It definitely makes loading and uploading a truck. Merchandise to rentorbuy, free lock with storage sale and most of all they have U-Haul to rent. Yes, I highly recommend this storage.

We paid for and rented a unit for movers to put our items into. Whem movers arrived with truck full of our stuff, the unit we were assigned was full with someone else's stuff. It then took nearly 1,5 hours for the employee to find another unit for my stuff , which cost me more money for the movers. I have yet to speak to general manager despite emails and complaint with customer service representative. The staff was rude and very unprofessional.

Overall it would have been perfect I got there before the end of the storage hours the door did not open it unlocked but it did not open all the way me and the movers had to push the door open with our own body strength one person had to keep it held open for us to bring our stuff in to the storage area very inconvenient the automatic door did not open it was a very heavy door way over 200 pounds or more to have to push the door open by yourself and hold it open to move and bedroom furniture boxes large pieces was a very very horrible inconvenience

My only concern was that when I moved out of my storage unit, someone else had put boxes in the unit. The manager called me because he thought those boxes had belonged to me. I think before moving out a manager should confirm on a statement that the unit is empty along with final, updated payment information.

After getting back to the storage location, the storage unit was to small and the storage facility did not Have a larger unit, so we ended up at the North Randall location who have the 10×15 storage unit that we needed, but the truck rental was good from the Bedford location and the uhaul lady was very nice, she refunded my money for the storage unit & discounted my rental for the truck & my inconvenience.

My first experience utilizing this storage facility was great! The main woman manning the facility (I can't remember her name but she was a woman of color with i believe light blue or purple dye at the end of her hair & the tattoos) was very sweet and helpful and was very efficient in her service skills. She was very patient and helpful when I asked to switch to a larger storage unit by showing me an example of how large the unit is before paying for it. She marked exactly on the paper map of where I needed to go to access my purchased storage unit. After a long day of packing and hauling everything into my truck and driving 30 minutes out of my original location, she helped give me peace of mind.

I had a little problem and I locked my keys in the storage and I was outside and couldn't get in there should be something where you could call someone or something to be able to get in to get some help that's the only problem I had everything was just excellent I really appreciate it everything but staff was kind and just helpful thank you very much

The store was exceptionally clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. All my questions were answered and I thought the pricing was very reasonable. I worked for public storage briefly and the service and pricing pales in comparason.

Great staff, I didn't know there was a pull in area for inside storage but there is and it's great. They also have carts for unloading and bathrooms to use. Very happy that I chose this place.

My move on 1-23-21 went very well. The brothers Calvin & Danny were very professional . I couldn't have been more pleased. I would have them move me anywhere. Calvin even did wear a mask...I felt safe. I thank you for their services!

Always had a good experience at uhaul. John is a very understanding and accommodating person. My locker is now 1213 (Rockside) as opposed to 070 (Broadway). I have had my storage since 2015.

The staff could have told me when they gave me my storage unit and they had a rodent problem and that when I went into the unit that I would see a big Rodent Baiter in my unit. Instead of the gentleman waiting on me telling me this he did not say anything and it threw me off.

To begin with the move in experience at the Rockside (Bedford, Oh.) facility have not been great. When we were first assigned a unit and went to move, it was discovered that the unit belonged to someone else. Then we were assigned another unit. After moving into that unit and being there for a few days, once again it was discovered that the unit was attached to someone else. So, again we had to be assigned another unit and told that we had to be out of that unit in 24hrs. Thank goodness we hadn't moved everything in at that time. In addition to that, the first person that signed us up supposedly attached an alternate name to our account and we haven't a clue who this person is. Seemingly, they just found someone who's last name is the same as ours and attached them to our account. At the time of purchasing the unit we were never asked for an alternate name. This name was discovered when purchasing our current unit. We were also told that the name cannot be removed from our account until we renew our contract. I think this is ridiculous!!! Perhaps I do not understand the process. It seems that it should just be a matter of deleting the name and making the correction. This was no fault of ours!! So needless to say, the first impressions have not been favorable. The professionalism is really not great. Seriously, thinking about finding another storage company, especially, if this type of service continue. This is our third move in less than a month. We will see what happens next! Hope that we can stay put. We have also been customers for several years at the Broadway facility in Bedford, Ohio and have never experienced this type of service. Really not happy!!! Currently, unless things change, I will not recommend this facility. Thank you for taking the time to read this info. I would appreciate a response.

Truthful overly helpful they just don't kick you out on hard times they help you as much as they can but it's still a business after all the assistant manager was awesome so was John the most pleasant uhaul place so far very professional

Could use longer hours to access my storage unit as it was closed to us at 7:00 pm EST. Most storage places stay available until 10: 00 pm EST.
The billing needs to go out at least 5 days in advance, always got billed the day of being due.

I received an email shortly after making my reservation that my storage would be at 19000 Rockside Rd. There was no mention of having to go to the Broadway location to do anything.
