Front desk clerk was rude, your location clearly has a restroom, but customers are not allowed to use it?? What kind of customer support does that provide? I understand that having a public restroom would not be something I would present but nothing for a paying customer?

Not specific to just this location, but I was looking to rent a cargo van or pickup truck closer to where I was hauling items. However, there was not a location close to that, so I had to pay a lot more in extra miles. Additionally, I had trouble finding the tank size of my vehicle to determine how much gas to fill up, and I filled more than needed. Also, the U-Haul app did not work for picking up my vehicle, so I had to use the web browser version.

I told the representative I did not want to add insurance - looking at my invoice he added it anyways. He told me I had until Wednesday night for return - I dropped off Wednesday and was charges an extra day. Would it be too much to ask to follow through with the information I was given?

Everything was great except getting charged extra for fuel. I drove the vehicle 22 miles. I did not fill it back up. I was charged for 5 gallons of fuel. I get it. I didn't fill it, but I sure as hell did not use 5 gallons in 22 miles. Honestly, the U-haul was cheaper than I expected it to be. If the fuel cost was baked into the price upfront instead of added on later, I wouldn't have even been mad. Incredible value overall, but seeing the itemized charges upset me a little FWIW

Why are the employees here so rude??? Not our first experience with this location, and they are jerks. How is it UHaul allows this? When we dropped the rental trailer off, the attendant was unhappy, was rude, unhooked the trailer and slammed it on the ground. He then walked away without saying anything like - I'll get your receipt, you're good to go.... I had to stop him to find out what we are supposed to do next. I don't like UHaul because if this. And I don't ever want to rent from you again!!!!

Fuel gage does not move while filling. You will not be reimbursed for putting extra fuel in the tank. Re fuel very slowly in order to not give away free gas

The staff and manager at the 740 N. 48th Street, Lincoln, NE location has consistently provided excellent service during each visit. This locations staff and manager are AAA+, knowledgeable, helpful, and assisted in and prompt and friendly manner when selecting the perfect storage unit. They have never failed to provide an outstanding customer experience. I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of storage solutions. :)

Even with cold, windy weather, the guys were fast to assist and unhook the trailer for me. I didn't even need to go inside the facility. The parking lot was clean and the UHaul trucks appeared maintained, at least at first glance.

Do everything with customers in your office instead of making people use the stupid app. It took me 40 minutes to do all the app stuff to pick it up and 35 minutes to return it!!!!!! The stupid app is for young people. I came into your office on 48 and Vine and your employee took info from me and my credit card. I assumed it would be easy to pick it up on Sunday. You need 1 employee on call 24/7 to help people if you want them to use your stupid app!!!! I won't be using U-Haul again!!!

Over 30+ years as a U-Haul customer and this location and team are the best of the best. The truly reflect U-Haul's goal of great customer service and moving equipment at a fair and reasonable price. One could not ask for a better customer experience and their commitment to such is unmatched. They make moving a little less stressful and always offer a helpful and and welcoming smile when you arrive.

In my over 30 years of patronizing this location the team members and management excel at quality customer service and an exceptional customer experience. Meeting customer needs for equipment, moving, supplies, hitch & wiring, and storage. They strive to maintain a clean and organized storage area and overall their storage units are in above average condition. My referring friends, family, and business associates to this location have consistently generated a big thanks and comments on a positive customer experience. The person who checked me in on the 26' truck didn't have the vehicle ready . The snow needed cleared and when I talked about it he just walked off. There was a dolly in the truck that wasn't checked out. Sloppy business. The individual checking me in did great.

I am a frequent renter of car dolly trailers, MC trailers, and utility trailers. Most recently, I rented a car dolly 12/27/2023. It was covered in snow and ice. The straps were frozen and tangled up in the ratchet and it took me over 20 minutes to get them freed up. The ramps on the trailer were frozen with ice, so I couldn't get the car I needed to tow up the ramps. This was a very disappointing experience and the fact that the equipment was hardly usable I would almost appreciate a refund.

Was told I could pick the location to return rental. Then got emails and phone calls telling me I had to return it way across town. Was in northeast area and I was told it needed to be returned to south lincoln. called the 800 number because the office was closed and they said turn it in to the location closest to you. then got another call saying no a customer in South Lincoln was expecting the truck I rented there so they could rent it. I was told that I had until Tuesday to return the truck but was hounded to return it on monday. Causing stress had job interview on monday and was not happy about all the drama and stress

Overall great location, great staff, and good value. I dropped my rating due to the unfortunate change from 24-hour access to 6a-10p at my current location. Although I respect a facilities management to make changes to policies and services, a 30-60 day advanced posted notice in-store would assist current and prospective clients make reasonable adjustments. I respectfully request that a posted notice of "Not a 24-Hour Access Facility be publicly displayed.

The staff was very helpful. We unloaded into a storage unit on a Sunday and cleaned out unit on a Sunday 3 months later. There were always staff available to help with gate, questions and truck return. Also, our original contract was to drop off truck at different U-Haul location in Lincoln and I asked if we could leave truck at U-Haul storage rental location and they said "yes, no problem".

Although my storage unit leaked from the ceiling and insulation was falling apart and the gate was always broken and there was trash everywhere, the manager Brenna was amazing and she deserves a raise. She runs circles around the men who work under her and she is the only one I wanted to communicate with. When the gate was broken I went inside to ask one of the guys to open it for me, and he said, "Sure it will give me something to do." How about go clean up the trash all over the property everywhere? Seriously Breanna was a blessing.

There was never an account I was able to access in my name even though they confirmed that they created one, there were rats and feces everywhere in our storage unit and we had to throw half of our stuff out. When I told this to them they could care less and showed no emotion. And when I told them our drop off location for our rented trailer, they wrote down a completely different address in a different town. They were not helpful or friendly. It was so obvious that they were high every time I came into the store. I Strongly recommend drug testing and a considerable amount of employee training, or just get a completely new set of employees all together.

I usually have to wait a long time to be helped. Not enough staff. Getting someone to answer the phone is even harder. I have seen staff answer the phone and then put it on hold for very long times. They are helpful when they get to you. Very expensive. I would not use you again in the future.

Was told I was supposed to get a free month since I rented a u-haul moving van also. But did not get it nor have I received any information regarding it. Was told by the associate behind the counter when I picked up my rental van.

Only providing good ratings as I don't want to impact anyone's performance rating. The U-Haul truck wasn't available, yet many were sitting in the same spot before I left and returned. The unit wasn't cleaned out, needed to swipe and clean out before putting my product into the storage unit. No one in the location was wearing a mask, yet the city still hasn't adjusted the mask mandate. How does a customer feel when we don't know the status of everyone working at the location? No one offered an apology for the unit not being available and seemed to blame me for the issue of having two rental units reserved.

You guys stoleeverythaing I had and threwit away saying because the door was with out a lock thin charged me with it and I couldent afford the bill you confinckated every thaing I own my son had left a pile while cleaningand thay told him we were evicted from there gave like a week was a lie thin he was going threw it went and sat in his truck saw a guy walk by went to the storage door had a lock on it he went up and told office that that guy locked him out and thay said he was a big guy I would have to talk to him and I went back to the unit the next day and I saw my stuff sitting out side the trash thin I went to the unit it was completely empty I got a few important thaing and won't in side and thay told me it was abanded because it didn't have a lock on it and I said I explained what my son told me that thay locked it and he couldent get it then thay take lock off and steal my stuff thay wanted and throw away the rest we argued where in you rule book says that I have to have a lock on the door or you guys Rob the person I had a few thousand worth of stuff there I would like to see the pictures of the place you did take pictures before locking and thin stealing my stuff and thin kept charging me for unit so I couldent afford it and got my other unit so every thang I own is gone

There is a problem with the online account management. I tried to update my credit card information. Each time, it appeared to accept the change, then I would get a late payment notice + $15 late fee.

The guys at this store were beyond-words amazing! I cannot say enough about them. Friendly, helpful, courteous and so many other synonyms. They made the whole experience very easy and I would go back.

Counter staff was always friendly and when my daughter rented a truck for moving they went above and beyond to help her out.

We rented a 15' truck from Alabama and drove to Lincoln. Everything about the trip went smooth, from the truck (awesome) to the storage facility. I would recommend U-haul to everyone!
