I told the representative I did not want to add insurance - looking at my invoice he added it anyways. He told me I had until Wednesday night for return - I dropped off Wednesday and was charges an extra day. Would it be too much to ask to follow through with the information I was given?

I didn't fill it, but I sure as hell did not use 5 gallons in 22 miles. Honestly, the U-haul was cheaper than I expected it to be. If the fuel cost was baked into the price upfront instead of added on later, I wouldn't have even been mad. Incredible value overall, but seeing the itemized charges upset me a little FWIW
Michael GroveWhy are the employees here so rude??? Not our first experience with this location, and they are jerks. How is it UHaul allows this? When we dropped the rental trailer off, the attendant was unhappy, was rude, unhooked the trailer and slammed it on the ground. He then walked away without saying anything like - I'll get your receipt, you're good to go.... I had to stop him to find out what we are supposed to do next. I don't like UHaul because if this. And I don't ever want to rent from you again!!!!

You need 1 employee on call 24/7 to help people if you want them to use your stupid app!!!! I won't be using U-Haul again!!!

Rick BaxterI am a frequent renter of car dolly trailers, MC trailers, and utility trailers. Most recently, I rented a car dolly 12/27/2023. It was covered in snow and ice. The straps were frozen and tangled up in the ratchet and it took me over 20 minutes to get them freed up. The ramps on the trailer were frozen with ice, so I couldn't get the car I needed to tow up the ramps. This was a very disappointing experience and the fact that the equipment was hardly usable I would almost appreciate a refund.

Gas gauge did not work so added way more gas than was in the truck upon renting. Heater did not work properly. Worst rental experience of my life. Would not go back.

BASHERMAL MUGHALZAIFirst, the truck had less than a half tank of gas. Then when I got to the pickup location I discovered there wasn't a ramp. I had to lift the equipment into the truck and dropped an 800# piece of equipment on my leg, which resulted in an er visit. I was unable to unload the truck because of my leg and couldn't find help. I was forced to keep the vehicle until I could unload it resulting in extra fees. Next time, I'll rent from Penske!!!

nani cadiDislike the tactics used to overcharge. I rented online, standard time that came up was 4 hours. At pickup, salesperson confirmed that I would return at 8:30, in making conversation I said it would probably be not much more than an hour, just picking up new furniture and taking to my home, both were within 10 minutes of Uhaul. She said nothing about changing my rental return time and I signed a signature pad without seeing a contract. Later as I was picking my furniture up from the store, I received a text message from uhaul stating my return time was 6:30! When I returned my rental, I complained about the change in my time-as a way to charge me more if I was late returning (as I learned from my son's experience-see below). She denied changing it and said she was the only one working, yet when I checked my contract, the time on it was 6:30. She lied to my face! Seems like uhaul, or maybe just this location is in the business of scamming customers. My son rented from this location in the summer and I assume it was not communicated to him that he would be charged double if he went over 4 hours, even though it's the same cost up to 24 hours. He was charged double the rental fee for returning it less than an hour late. I understand you need to know return times for your trucks availability, but this seems like manipulation for overcharging.

She runs circles around the men who work under her and she is the only one I wanted to communicate with. When the gate was broken I went inside to ask one of the guys to open it for me, and he said, "Sure it will give me something to do." How about go clean up the trash all over the property everywhere? When I told this to them they could care less and showed no emotion. And when I told them our drop off location for our rented trailer, they wrote down a completely different address in a different town. They were not helpful or friendly. It was so obvious that they were high every time I came into the store. I Strongly recommend drug testing and a considerable amount of employee training, or just get a completely new set of employees all together.

The U-Haul truck wasn't available, yet many were sitting in the same spot before I left and returned. The unit wasn't cleaned out, needed to swipe and clean out before putting my product into the storage unit. No one in the location was wearing a mask, yet the city still hasn't adjusted the mask mandate. How does a customer feel when we don't know the status of everyone working at the location? No one offered an apology for the unit not being available and seemed to blame me for the issue of having two rental units reserved.

harrington auction company | Expérience généraleYou guys stoleeverythaing I had and threwit away saying because the door was with out a lock thin charged me with it and I couldent afford the bill you confinckated every thaing I own my son had left a pile while cleaningand thay told him we were evicted from there gave like a week was a lie thin he was going threw it went and sat in his truck saw a guy walk by went to the storage door had a lock on it he went up and told office that that guy locked him out and thay said he was a big guy I would have to talk to him and I went back to the unit the next day and I saw my stuff sitting out side the trash thin I went to the unit it was completely empty I got a few important thaing and won't in side and thay told me it was abanded because it didn't have a lock on it and I said I explained what my son told me that thay locked it and he couldent get it then thay take lock off and steal my stuff thay wanted and throw away the rest we argued where in you rule book says that I have to have a lock on the door or you guys Rob the person I had a few thousand worth of stuff there I would like to see the pictures of the place you did take pictures before locking and thin stealing my stuff and thin kept charging me for unit so I couldent afford it and got my other unit so every thang I own is gone
