Installer was great and friendly. The end product was perfect. Wait time was a bit longer than expected however.

Hakim EOur main concern is Customer Service. Hold times were long and when I finally reached an agent, I was put on hold again. Many agents (I had to call several times) were unfriendly and unhelpful. In addition, I was disconnected three times. I had to call back and wait again in the hold queue. In addition, our box was delivered 1 1/2 hours late so we had to wait for the driver. Very poor customer service.

Edward MMy over all experiences with your company are extremely horrible. I was placed on hold for approximately 45 minutes per phone call with almost a dozen phone calls being made. I have been charged fees that I was promised I wouldn't get charged via emails and phone conversations. I am currently disputing these changes with my credit card company.
tammra bAutomate the process more, why can I upload my license but not credit card info. Make it so I can upload all my info and just grab keys and go. Workers at the location were great, just having to check in in person and online takes too long.
Kyle AI have used you 3 or 4 times in the last 18 months. Found you convienent and have perfect equipment ( 10' truck ) to fit my need. One conern however is fuel. We drove 10' truck 69 miles, mosly hwy at 55-60 MPH.. Put in 6,3 gallons of gas. That comes to 10,95 MPG. Facility charged me for 2 additional gallons. That comes to only 8,3 MPG.
Michael BWe reserved a truck, an appliance dolly and furniture covers a month in advance for 7 am. From alsip, one way to Henry, IL. 4 days before we received a call from a dealer in orland saying he doesn't do one way rentals. I drove back to the alsip center to talk face to face and was told the employee who originally helped me was brand new and no longer works there. They set up the reservation again. The night before we were told we would have to pock it up at 143rd and Cicero at 10. I told them I needed it at 7 am so they did show me how to do the mobile pick up so we could get it at 7 before the dealer opened. That worked out fine but they didn't provide us with the furniture covers and appliance dolly. So we had to stop back at alsip and get the dolly and covers. Very frustrating process for having reserved it a month ahead of time.
CARTON BWhen I first arrived in the location since unfortunately, my van has been towed to this location I was in the line and wanted to customer and customer was waiting to speak to Monteel then employees were saying that he's unavailable well just give him a few more minutes so she was impatient Second of all when I went to the reason why I went to his location even though it's been towed I was trying to retrieve my personal items from work and I picked up my jacket my Burger King coupon and my prescription glasses and was missing a few things like my personal kneepads I got from Lowe's that was that I have on sale that I pay $50 on my charger that I pay for Home Depot three days ago that was probably around $30 and Clorox wipes maybe like six dollars so I was trying I went back to the store and I'm like hey I'm missing some items Motel one of the employees I guess maybe the store manager he was kind of brushing me off and telling me y'all contact in the mass location even though that didn't have nothing to do with it because they gave you guys back the key got that this location had the key on up and the van was went to this location, so I don't understand why I need to contact the place I rented from even though they have everything at this location so apparently I'm guessing that whoever told it or the employees at house took my items that was benefit for further, whoever took it Because course they not gonna take anything that's a broken pair glasses that prescription or messed up this jacket and a coupon. They probably took a picture of that with the clothes on it so they didn't take that, but it took stuff that was mostly benefit to them.

Good person to have in that position.As a customer I think you want someone knowledgeable like him because when I spoke to someone at the call center they were not able to get everything right but he did there and was very attentive and pleasant! Fathi BNo tell was great, I booked at the wrong place and he took care of the cancellation at the other U-Haul and accommodated me with a cargo trailer from his store. Explained the trailer and got me on my way. Returning was just as easy, out in 10 minutes.

bill kMy container sat at the facility and was not logged in to ship, so my Ubox was a week late. I was inconvenince and had to spend money on titems/hings that I already had in the Ubox. This shippment costed me time and extra money that I was not prepared for. My Ubox was loaded at the facility and there wasn't prpper /adequate space to load the box. Staff commincation skills were poor and not up to par, the manager was difficault to deal with at times.

JANIE LIt's winter get some good window scrapers/ brushes- you know with the extended arms. Stop nickel and dimming- it makes people not want your service. Make your information makes sense. Putting "MI" in the sign off should be changes to the actual sentence /words "miles to use for the day." Fill gauge makes no sense when your trying to fill the tank. Needless to say I'm glad this was the first and last time I will use this service. Cheers

Availability and accessibility was fine but some of the lights were burnt out and there's pigeon nests everywhere non-stop pooping all over the cars. Can't say I was fooled or misled, but for $150 a month, I was hoping for a slightly better value and protection. I had to go buy a car cover just to stop all the crap and muck from getting all over so at that point, i might as well have just left it on the driveway tarped. Knock $50 or so off and itd be an ok value.

There were weeds overgrown everywhere, I had 2 couch cushions and a stack of rotting particle board waiting for me that no one cleaned up. When I arrived there was a Uhaul truck parked right by the entrance and I waited about 45 minutes after asking for it to he moved so I had clearance to safetly enter the facility. After waiting i was told that no one at work had the appropriate license to move the truck. Thankfully I was able to barely squeeze in without damaging anything. Overall bad experience.

I recd a call back and while speaking, was disconnected, the service person never called back, and I had to go through the process again. It took me 3 x's, and never got to an Alsip manager. It was very frustrating and a waste of time. They never did resolve the reason I called. Prices on storage keep going up, if you store for any length of time, it becomes costly. I don't think it's necessary, and no reason is given for the increase.

However i do appreciate the fact he allowed us to pick up the rest of our things after him and his staff went thru our storage and some valuable items came up missing which should be replaced by your facility sense the staff are the only ones that have access to the unit sense uhaul are the only ones that had access to the facility. I think he does not do well with management and some of the staff there are immature and lack the ability to work well with customers and lack professionalism. I would not rent with this facility ever again. Merci

If I still had my business, which I recently sold, I would hire her immediatly and double her pay! She is that OUTSTANDING.

The out of state movers we used were very impressed with the availability of moving carts that made the move of our items seamless. Only problem faced was of my doing. I originally thought my belongings would all fit into a 5x5 unit which I had secured the later part of April. Early morning on the day of the move I thought again about the space and rented another 5x5 unit. Good thing I did as I did require more space. If I had been a little bit more realistic about the space I could have just rented a 5x10 unit. But as I said that was my problem and had nothing to do with Uhaul.

I had originally just rented one unit (5x5) and then the day of furniture delivery rethought the space and decided to rent another unit (5x5). Renting the second unit online was seamless and I was lucky to get the second unit on the same floor and area as the first. The provided moving carts made unloading the moving truck for the movers easy and efficient. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for storage needs. May I say agin how professional and thorough Diana was at explaining the process.

I needed a place where I could park my work truck and plug it in over night, receive orders (packages delivered by UPS) and store everything that I need to store safely and conveniently in temperature controlled environment. The staff here at U-Haul Alsip made me feel welcome. They were friendly and more then accommodating. The whole facility, (from the main building, storage lockers, office and parking lot) ,is well maintained and clean. The are many storage facilities around, however, if you want peace of mind knowing your personal and or professional needs for storage are met then I HIGHLY recommend using U- Haul in Alsip IL.

I was disappointed by two surprises-1) taxes were nearly 20 % and 2) free first month storage promotion does not apply to vehicle/RV storage. I would understand these if I knew upfront when making the reservation online. However, neither of those items were communicated, and in fact, in my confirmation email, my first month balance due was $0 and my rent payment was 20 % less than what I'm having to pay. Things that would have been good to know while I was deciding. Taxes are way too high and are ridiculous.
