There is some parts of cement that should be fixed that's all broken up. My family and I almost tripped and fell couple of times because of the broken cement. But u have excellent people with excellent customer service. Thank you for having Good people to make my experience alot easier for me.

I made a reservation, and when I arrived the unit I had reserved was occupied. I was then upsold to a more expensive unit. I requested that because this was a mistake that was made by U-Haul that the price of my original reservation should be honored. The attendant said he would speak to his manager but I never heard anything back. When my bill came due after a month it was clear that I was not accommodated for the inconvenience of my reservation not being honored. I would not recommend this facility as it seems that they upsell people rather than honor reservations.

I wish I never went there, called there, or even thought about using their services! Worst customer service I have ever received. I'm worse off than l was, now I'm Broke, too, and they were horrible to deal with and nothing they said was True , or even happened the way they said it would. Biggest mistake contacting these folks for help!

The Old Seward store had only 1 staff person. He was really great- but people had to wait excessively so he could handle it all.

I did find that the faciilty has a strong smell - like that of a chemical used to kill bugs. That is my one concern. The staff was very nice, calm, competent, efficient -- all the good things! This really making it a nice, easy experience. I was having a rushed, tough day but after leaving Uhaul and getting my storage unit I felt better. Thank you to the gentleman that helped me.

I was wickedly happy with everything, the prices, the staff, the cleanliness. I love that they have a place others can put items (not trash and crap) that others could use. The only thing is the limited time entry. I feel it should be 24hrs access. They get 5 out of 4 stars

Security card reader very rarely worked properly. One more than 1 occasion I'd have to wait 10+ minutes for someone to be available to help check me out. Once I had to go find someone.

All but one aspect of my rental was positive. That one aspect will keep me away. The ice on the ground around the security system for the rear storage building was extremely dangerous for my entire rental. EXTREMELY. On two occasions, I asked a staff member to clear it. I never saw any sign that ANY attempt was ever made. As a man of 57, I'm not looking to break an ankle just to access my storage unit. I'll look elsewhere, and will encourage others to do likewise.

Disappointing though with the seemingly *bait & switch of the add on $10 *access fee~~~~~mandatory specific *lock where numerous competitors are actually providing one*all ~~~~~ inclusive AND that *other U-Haul locations are actually ***honoring a minuscule 10 % discount…. Yet this location did not?!!? Austin, Kimberly & Netta (sp.) were extremely helpful on both days, much appreciated! Wish we had this level of customer care & cleanliness in North Pole :-) **A+++. The young man that helped me was very polite an smiled good sense of humor he was well dressed . Very fast getting the paperwork done he also walked me through how to sign in and out. When I asked him how to get to my storage unit he showed me an gave me a map that he made a line from point A to point B . With out showing any signs that I was taking up to much of his time. We need more young people just like him it would make customers wanna come back . Plus the customers would tell family an friends how well your employees served them.

Utilizing the U-HAUL experience was about the only consistent professional help along the way. I had my final check out w Netta at front desk OLD Seward location and as with my check in with her, my check out was a nice and calm last chore/task in a very stressful unexpected situation. . I'd recommend this location to rely on and make your move less stressful!

This facility is so nice and clean…the floors always make me feel good about the care you take of the building. My only negative comments are regarding being put "on hold" for over 10 minutes two times when I called recently to check out.

My storage monthly bill is $189. The day of the due date of October 18th, U-HAUL was going to charge me $210. Originally when I started my storage back in March 2022 I was told and read I had a 3-5 grace period to pay or a late fee would be added. I was completely removing all my belongings the 18th and was told if I didn't remove by 7pm of the 18th I was going to be charged $210. How when it's only $189 and I also just made a $981 payment a week prior.

I don't know what is wrong with U-Haul. I'm not Janell and have tried repeatedly to get you to quit sending me emails to no avail. Hopefully now that Janell has moved her stuff out I'll not be bothered by U-Haul anymore.

Alan was awesome and super helpful, the only problem was that I was under the impression I would be able to access my unit until 10, but the unit I was given was only accessible until 7, causing me to miss a non refundable flight, otherwise it would have been a full 5 stars.

I've had a storage unit in Anchorage for the past 10+ years and this facility and it's staff have always been great to deal with. They respond quickly to any of my needs and have communicated well via phone and email. My rental experience here has been excellent and I'd highly recommend this facility!

First off, my last name is wrong. He asked me 3 times AND it's on my drivers license I gave him. The last name on the unit is nothing near my actual last name. Also, both Uhaul website and the papers I was given when I paid for the unit say access hours are until 10pm. We loaded up my car and got there at 7:30 to have it be closed. So the whole day was pointless because my husband leaves for the slope at 6am and is gone 2 weeks. That's 2 weeks rent I could've saved because I cannot move it by myself. We had to come home and unload my car back into the house until he's home.

I had paid for 24hr access. As I was hours from leaving the country and storing my entire household at the U-Haul location, my access card was not working after hours. The number for manager in charge - Bri -, no one answered for more than an hour and U-Haul customer service also was unable to reach her after many attempts. As a result, I could not miss my flight, and my unit was left open and a cart of my items left just inside the door. I had to conitnuously call the next morning (after flying out of Anchorage) to get someone to lock my unit. The valuable household items on the cart had disappeared. I was told that my account was not authorized for 24hr access, though my charges paid clearly showed that was paying for them. Additionally, as preparing to move my items in storage overseas, my colleague made attemtps to contact the same manager -Bri- via phone to arrange transfer into a U-Box, but was again unreachable. If a manager is going to be unavailable, there should be an alternate to cover responsibilities to support customers. When I move back to Anchorage, unfortuately, I will be chosing a different location for the storage of my items. It's too bad, as the facility and most of the staff are great, but the most important services and management responsible for providing them are lacking. My collegue who helped me, he provided similar feedback and will also have the same advice to others using that property location.

Disappointed in the lack of lighting inside the storage room. There was trouble with the locks for the outside doors… No one seemed to have a key to open the outside roll up door when I was trying to move my stuff out so I had to go to the set of doors to the left that didn't have a smooth transition to the outside which made it hard with the carts.

Online process was excellent. I received emails regarding access codes and times the facility was open. Then, got to the site with a friend to download a trailer full of belongings and the building and storage room I was assigned was not accessible when I arrived at 7:30 pm. The emails I received showed 24 hours access and another from 5 am to 10 pm. But, the building sign showed 7 am to 7 pm. I was frustrated that I couldn't get after hour assistance as well. I had to take additional time off from work to download everything without assistance the next day. I do appreciate the young lady at the counter the next day however, she listened to my concerns and helped me extend the rental trailer that was due in that day and even got me a storage unit switched over to the building that was accessible to me after 7 pm. This really turned a difficult situation into a good outcome and showed me their customer service commitment. I am a person that expects businesses to practice what they preach in all aspects and will communicate any discrepancies to the highest levels of management. But, I will also give a positive response to good customer service assistance when It's done. So, I personally want to thank this team at the front rental counter for the excellent experience after my frustration with the initial online and on-site move. Thank you for taking care of this once frustrated customer.

Staff were very kind and personable; however, the second floor of the storage facility is not ADA-accessible (there is no elevator, only stairs) and the only available storage unit in the size I needed was on the second floor. Because of mobility issues and lack of ADA access, it will take me multiple days to finish unloading my items into my unit. In addition, to unload or load items into/from the units you have to enter through the main store entrance and have staff accompany you to unlock side doors that access a narrow alley outside. Otherwise you're forced to cart them through the main store area, which is difficult to maneuver a dolly or flat cart through, and through multiple card-keyed doors that you must register and unlock each time. To access the alley you must go in the main store and request that staff accompany you to unlock the outside access doors in an alley then walk back out to the front to drive your vehicle around to the alley. The alley is barely wide enough to accommodate a parked vehicle while allowing any others to pass yet it is the only exit for all vehicles being used to access the storage unit areas. Five stars for the employees (and it's not their fault the building was built the way it was), one star for accessibility difficulties. Giving it an overall rating of "below average" as all other storage facilities I've ever been to are ADA-accessible and do not suffer from the complex vehicle access challenges this one has. I would have chosen a different facility but my U-pod is being shipped to and stored at this one and once it arrives I plan to the items from my storage unit into it. I didn't want to be juggling storage at two different businesses.

International self storage on c str and international in Anchorage I feel the ones running it is who is trying to break in. It happened during day not at night they claimed Our stuff was safe but I wasn't taking chances. I got a unit at unhaul right away. Be warned it is not worth going any place else. Besides u-haul offers insurance. That alone is worth it to me. The woman who helped us was super awesome and showed us how to gain access and gave us a map. She totally rocks!!!!!!!!(

Storage experience was excellent. I appreciated the security protocols, and especially the climate and humidity controls since I stored art works as well as photos. I would encourage management to add desk personnel during hours of high customers numbers to reduce the line wait time. I moved out properly and I was still charged rent the next month and even a late fee. I called this location and was never able to get a hold of anyone, and would have to wait literally hours on the general customer service line. It took three calls to the customer service line to resolve the issue--lors of wasted time.

Customer service lacks. I needed help when I arrived. The person expected me to know what to do with my code. Then my code didn't work so I was told to come back the next day if though I truck load of things. They could have opened the door and let me unload but didn't.

I was then informed that access to storage on my side is only until 7 pm? I still don't know if that's true but the fact that there is confusion about whether or not I can get to my unit at the quote AND EMAILED time 5am to 10pm pisses me off. I will not be getting a 2nd month and I will move my business elsewhere. My code did not work so the girl gave me a new code. That one worked, but it should never have even been an issue. Get your crap together uhaul.

Hi so I reserve a storage where I have an access for 24 hours and when I got there they didnt even know I had a storage unit reserved and on top of that i thought when u sign up reserve we get free automatic pad locks? I have to pay for the lock waited and greeted with unpleasant attitude but thats fine because it seems like the guy was having a bad day and hard day. So i was wondering if The one i signed up and reserved to have an access for 24hours is available because thats why i rented the uhaul so I can go back and fort. And I didn't have the chance to look at my reservation space? Ray was God Sent. I've been to this U-Haul location a few times and Ray has always been Professional, kind, and expeditious. I almost gave away and vintage bicycle due to a move and lack of space when Ray asked, do you need a rental unit? We recently had a bunch come available. His question was the answer I needed in the Fog of the stress of my Move. Thank you Ray for always being at your Best.

The young man working the front desk lacks in customer service skills. I feel that he is not knowledgeable about the storage options and he did not provide clarity about location of the unit we rented and did not mention that uhaul had their own locks on the unit. The person that answered the phone when we realized we could not access the unit due to being locked, was very helpful and had someone come unlock the unit for us very quickly. Overall the Uhaul experience was great, with the exception of the young man at the desk, he may need more training on how to interact with customers. Merci.

If you want a square to put your belongings in, Uhaul has expensive rooms for that. If you want to wait forever in line, Uhaul knows how to waste your time. If you wanted to be offended, Uhaul hires the best customer service people for that. I'll tell you, if I am providing you a good amount of money for a weak service, and your employees give me any attitude (hateful female I have encountered twice), or do not make me feel valued as a customer; I will create accounts around the web and make this review noticed. You want to waste my time, charge my card and hold my money, and then when I call to speak with the General Manager, Steve Womack doesn't answer. What a disgrace to the Uhaul community. It is difficult to mess up a franchise, where all you have to do is support the business model and keep happy customers.

My experience with Uhaul storage was perfect until the day I moved out. I had reserved a 10' truck to move out my belongings on the last day of my billing cycle. The reservation was for a return trip with a base cost of $19.99. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I was told by the Asst. Mgr there were no 10' trucks to rent, that Uhaul had overbooked. I was then told there was a 10' truck but it was only for one ways and it would be $118 and I'd have to drop it off at another Uhaul location. I was not going to pay $100 more for a truck especially b/c this was not my fault. Nor did I have the time to drop the truck off on the other side of town. I instead started unloading my storage with my car but because the location closes at 7 I had to return the next day to finish. The Asst Mngr said I wouldn't be charged for the next month since I was now on day 1 of the next billing cycle, but I was charged and had to speak with a Uhaul rep (Raymond - who was excellent!) about reversing the charges. I had to take off the 1/2 half of this day from work in order to empty the storage unit as well. Lastly, when I asked about the $50 guarantee that's posted on your wall behind the counter, I was told my reservation didn't qualify because of the overbooking. This makes no sense. I made a reservation - the reservation was not fulfilled. It caused me all sorts of trouble, but the guarantee isn't valid because you overbooked? I have worked as a Logisitics Manager the past decade and have both used Uhaul for personal moves as well as for work related moves. I'll be hesitant to put myself in the same position with the company going forward and will be looking at other options.

The storage unit grounds were a little tight to maneuver around. I'm sure a box truck wouldn't have fit at my unit. The key card access didn't work at first and had to be checked in manually.

Great customer service with a very competent staff. Had to work multiple rental issues (truck, trailer and storage unit) from 2400 miles away. I will definitely do business here again!

Our experience with this U-Haul facility was frustrating. Our U Box was not ready when we arrived to pick it up, and the staff in the facility was not prepared to help us in a timely manner.

My only complaint is that I moved out 4 days into the next month and they still charged me for the whole month. So now they can rent it out again and have double rent paid. Unethical practice

The outside door 1008 would never close we properly. The ledge going outside was so damaged that every load on a cart in or out dumped my stuff. It was incredibly frustrating.
