The check in process is very tedious and frustrating. Be sure not to exit the check in process. Be sure to arrive early if you're on a time crunch.

Convenient rental location to our home. Initially told that no one-way trucks were available to reserve, but later in the process, the location was confirmed. This lack of clarity caused some concerns. Also asked to rent as early as possible on the pick up day and was assigned 10:00, even though the store opened at 7:00. Not sure why we couldn't pick up earlier - never explained.

Within 3 hours of rental of equipment and truck I returned the blankets to the store in the same bags that they were issued. Blankets had not been removed for the plastic bags issued. All my things to be moved were already wrapped in blankets and cellophane. Therefore they were not needed. On return, I was told that I would not be reimbursed nor was given a receipt for returning them to the issuing location. I didn't think anything else about this other than it really upset me on how I paid for something then was not reimbursed. On arrival at the return of the truck and equipment I was asked where the blankets were and that I would be charged for them since I didn't return them with the truck. I explained the situation and he didn't charge me for them. I do not trust the first location as the store Manager at that location was the issuing party and she had a fowl mood that morning and did not explain anything about the return of the blankets at the final location. If I would have known I wouldn't have returned them to their store prior to departure from Broken Arrow, OK.

I like this particular location. It's convenient and I've used it several times. I have no complaints about the location itself. However, this is the first time I've ever returned my rental after hours. If you're not angry enough after a long day of moving, you'll sure enough be that way after trying in vain to use the stupid UHaul app to do your "after hours" return. Seemed like the one and only thing I COULDNT do from the app was complete my return. I finally had to message customer service so that THEY could send me a link to the actual return web site. Here's a brilliant idea. If you're going to require people to use your app to do an after hours return, it might be a good idea to put a link in there to the return page. Then, people won't waste 45 minutes in the parking lot trying to figure out their return. That just makes people want to rent somewhere else next time.

The General Manager of the store complained that I was there to 'dispatch' at 7AM when I picked up. My reservation was made weeks before my scheduled pick-up date and their location was assigned to me because of that time-frame of pick up. It didn't feel real professional for the Manager to complain to me the customer that they were having to fulfill a paying customer's request. If they don't want to dispatch at 7am, they need to not open at 7am like the other stores in the surrounding area. It is LITERALLY why I picked/was assigned that location, because of their store hours. I know everyone has a bad day, but it made the entire transaction awkward that my rental at their facility was causing inconvenience for the manager.

This truck was not roadworthy, and that is putting it nicely. The doors wouldn't fully close and came open while driving more than once. The mirrors were rusted solid, un-adjustable, so I was driving blind, could not see anything. The truck could barely reach the speed limit ( I had maybe 50lbs in the back, just a few pieces of artwork that would not fit in my pickup ) and at any slight incline it would start losing power and slowing down. The steering felt as if it was about to become disconnected, there was an EXTREME amount of play. I felt unsafe driving it, and am blown away that this vehicle was signed off on and given to a customer!! When I brought this up to the employee when I returned he said it was approved by the shop and there was nothing he could do. I will never rent from U-Haul again and I will tell everyone that will listen to do the same.

Costumer service was excellent besides the truck wasn't in its best shape with electrical tape holding a seatbelt buckle together and truck sounded like it was going to stall out while making turns. Take better care of the trucks

The website was down in the facility, so it took a little longer to check in and get the truck than I expected, The staff was excellent and very apologetic. Returning the truck was surprisingly fast and unbelievably easy. Everything was perfect after the check in. Overall, a great experience.

The location was good. The truck windows were to clean and the truck pulled hard to the Right for our whole trip. I was upset that the pick up location was changed at the last minute and it was not boldly stated it was a "DIFFERENT" location than was originally selected. Also I would have preferred a voicemail to be left with clear infomation that the location was DIFFERENT. Cause of this change it caused us to be late for our paid movers

Going to the office the man there was extremely nice. However we had issues later that evening when going to unload my truck in storage. Customer had blocked the gates. Someone showed up to move the truck and they were extremely rude. Saying this didn't have anything to do with her and they closed at 5pm. As an employee it sure does, it wasn't mine as a customer except to have the access I pay for. Once I remove my belongings to my home I will never use uhaul storage again. That was horrible and the only reason I will stay for now is because of the young man who initially helped me and will only deal with him for the remainder of my time.

I drove 29 miles and filed the tank with 8,6 gallons! The gas gauge was at the full mark when I first got in the truck; apparently the gauge was able to move way past the "full mark" . I paid way more for gas than I should have!! Uhaul told me it was a full tank when I signed up, but you lied!!!

I had a real hard time returning the truck. I had to drive it across town passing 2 other return places and one was literally a mile from my house. I called U-Haul and got transferred twice and the call dropped. I was told it was 41 cents a mile and 60 was free and was charged a dollar a mile and full miles. Please review my rental.

I gave excellect for service, equipment and speed. However, I'm not happy with extra $5 charge for rental of dolly only because i rented in Broken Arrow OK and returning it to Muskogee UHall. 20/20 hindsight I should have just rented the dolly in Muskogee. I wasnt sure if Muskogee UHall had it so i was under presure [time] to go ahead and rent it in Broken Arrow OK.

The in-town rental truck was in poor condition. Inoperative oil pressure gauge, pulsing rear brakes, tons of body damage and the exterior graphics were in extremely poor condition. Also, the $1 "Environmental Fee" is completely inappropriate. I shouldn't be involuntarily subsidizing UHaul's green initiatives.

Parking in pickup area is way undersized. Employee opened a rental truck door and hit my personal truck. No harm done and employee apologized profusely when confronted. Broderick, a different employee, managed to get my rental completed despite poor communication about pickup times and conditions from yet a third employee, whom I talked to on the phone after completing the on line reservation a few days prior. It all ended well, but there were too many bumps along the way. Not UHauls best job and I'm a repeat customer.

My only complaint was that I reserved the truck for 5:00 Friday evening and we didn't get it until 5:45. The poor guy was there alone and it was very busy. We could have returned it before closing time had we had it on time.

Front desk rep is rude and didn't even explain how to drop off or anything until I asked upon leaving. Vehicle was a far walk and I had to take down the advertisement out of the windshield to go anywhere and store in the cargo area. Will not recommend anyone to this location. It is best to go to another or maybe another company.

Worker took 15 minutes after us being in the office to come help us. After finally coming inside after looking at us multiple times through the 15 minutes was kinda aggressive. When moving a sign out of the way he just sort of threw it to the side and slammed it down. Then through his keys phone something else onto the counter asked for the name we told him he then proceeded to go fill his water bottle drink some before coming to ask the name a second time and finally helping us.

The main problem was my account kept showing I owed around $900 when I was current on my account. It has been that way for a year or more. Candy the manage said she had called IT about it but it has never been fixed. This has been very frustrating for Candy and myself. Candy works harder then any woman I have ever known at the storage units and she shouldn't have to deal with accounting issues corporate can't or won't fix.

Overall had a horrible experience. Poor communication within the company. Had an overdue lock still on the unit a week after payment was made. Had to call y'all twice just for someone to finally cut it off. The guy that handled me when renting the unit was not professional. There's no service nor does the public wifi at the Facility even work so when I returned a truck I couldn't properly check it in and got charged an extra $25. Yall LOVE to overcharge people. I have the exact same unit and I pay $75 a month instead of $120 that y'all charge me. NEVER will I ever use uhaul especially this location.

You desk people need more staff! They are running the whole time! Still friendly but you can tell phone ran constantly and customers were needing answers... one person doing everything will burn out your customer service "asset". Pandemic is over, pay more to get more staff.

Your staff over charged me on the uhaul truck rental of $33 and some change. Instead they charged me a full $100 that I was told was only a temporary hold. Honestly was worried this would happen as there was another customer bitching about the same thing while I was trying to get the truck.

I really like this uhaul storage facility but it's extremely difficult to navigate around all the uhaul trucks, trailers, etc especially when I'm pulling in a trailer myself. Just way too hard to get in and out of. Other than that though, the people are great and the units are very clean and I feel secure.

My unit was not ready when u got there. It was a free 30 unit. But she said it wasn't in there. But after a little bit it was taken care of. Only one person handling phone and several people returning and renting trucks made a wait time. But overall things were good.

I would not recommend this location because the entrance is horrible, can't get in or out. Parking if you need to go to the office is awful. No room to park CANT get in or out very well.

Could not get my code to work. Had to come back 2 hrs later..still didn't work. There was a red lock on my unit which the guy very loudly told me it was for nonpayment right in front of another customer. I was trying to move IN that day and you had my credit card so all this was on your end. I canceled before even getting to move in. I will never recommend this facility. Only 1 person working and very overworked

The on-line process is mostly good, however it was never clear that a lock was provided with the unit. So, I purchased a lock and then the site manager refunded it, which worked out well. But, I had to go the facility to clear it all up.

I was given this medium storage facility by my, phone and by the corporate. When the manager learned of it she charged me $150 even though I told her I was directed to her storage facility by the main office. She refunded $150 back, but as managee she should have been more professional said sir I'm sorry for the mess up. She came off as being very rude

The staff was incredibly rude. As i made it closer to tulsa, from st. Louis, i ran into some traffic that pushed me back a little on my arrival time. Well that meant that id show up approximately 5-10 minutes after they closed at the SUPER late hour of 8pm. So I called ahead and politely asked if someone could stick around for me. The guy who answered the phone said with disdain, that they're trying to close up early and will leave at 8:00 sharp. I then offered to pay someone to please stick around for me. I just drove 8 hours to get here and theres nothing i could do...needless to say the staff did NOT wait, pushing back my entire move in schedule by over a day and a half... Because since the office hours are the same as a state govt and the accessibility of the units is tied to that, plus the rude and unsavory behavior, I was unable to unload everything right then and there. I had to find an pay for another storage unit from another place, then had to run back to st louis, back to tulsa and by the time i made it back, I'd arranged to return the trailer and fill up the storage unit at 3:00 p.m. and once again ran into traffic on my way to the unit so I called ahead and asked if the manager could stick around this time she said yes she would but only for an hour and then she had to go and come to find out the office doesn't even close until 5:00 so her doing me this huge favor was part of her job anyways so I mean and then as I'm leaving the place it's then right after they took off the trailer right as I'm about to drive away literally standing right next to my car hand on the handle tells me the storage units are only open the same time that the office is and so I won't be able to access any of my stuff I can't come in and move it out in the middle of the night I can't go anywhere or like move into my place and since I work from 9am - 6pm EVERYDAY i wont be able to get my stuff for another week or so... Oh and to make matters even better, i got charged twice for the "starters package" (which didnt have all of the stuff with it) got charged extra for a smaller trailers, charged to put a lights attachment on my car, charged for a lock for the storage unit. Paid for an 8 x 10 unit, received a 4x4 unit. And missed my move in date by two whole days... So as far as im concerned, U-Haul screwed me royally and not only am i going to tell everyone this story and dissuade anyone i meet from choosing uhaul, but I'm going to be requesting a refund for a lot of this.

Storage was clean and well maintained. My only issue was customer service due to some staff (not all) and the owner/manager being less-than-friendly and seemingly incapable of defusing situations. Just not the type of customer service that would make me recommend this location.

My unit had no interior lighting that I'm aware of. When I got there to move out the staff was blocking the way in with a trailer load up. This has also happened before with other tenants. The facility parking lot and driveway is very small with little space and obstructions like parked trailers even though there is a whole unpaved grass area are on the property. Unit was also very expensive. I was referred to an equivalent facility at 10 % the price. Most of my experience interacting with the staff was pleasant.

While it was clean and well let, it was difficult to get in and out of with a travel trailer. U-Haul vehicles seem to frequently be in the way of the entrance / exit.

The woman manager of the facility was very rude to us we were there 12 years never had a problem till they hired her we went with not being able to get into our facility for six months due to them not fixing the problem I will never use that facility and I know a lot of people and my husband us too and we will never recommend this facility again

Security gate was broken the entire time storage was used. Access was terrible. Isle ways were blocked with excess u-haul trucks that made driving around very difficult.

Most of the time a truck was blocking access to my unit. The last day while loading and moving, an older man (gray hair, beards)who apparently works in the UHAUL shop was extremely rude and mean. He should not be dealing with customers. I will never recommend this place because of him.

I was not told the gas tank was not full...! And this 158K mile old truck was the worst truck ride I have ever experienced... no suspension whatsoever! - even with a full load! I thought at times that some of the furniture in the back would break, the way this truck was bopping up and down! on the highway. Besides that, the truck had no USB iutlet for me to charge the phone. And then you charge me $250 for a ride that should have cost 40 plus milage! Not recommendable to anyone, actually. This is the second defective truck you rent me! Not a good record!

When I reserved a unit and a truck online your site said no where that there is a $100 deposit if you pay cash for a truck, it wasn't in the email or on the confirmation page. Also your estimates for home sizes that will fit in your units is way off. A 5x10x10 will not fit a 2 bedroom home which is what it said online. Your staff did not even have me look at the unit before they had me pay for it. It is also way over priced. I went somewhere else and got a 10x20 unit for just a little more than the one you tried to rent me. I was very disappointed! Thought I would get everything done in one place I stead the day I'm moving I have to find a new storage unit and put more miles on the truck so uhaul cost me an extra $50 more because of all this.

My storage space was usually not accessible due to Uhaul trucks parked all over the entrance and in front of my unit. Several times orange cones were blocking the row my unit was on, and Uhaul trucks had to be moved by Me because the staff was rude and incompetent. I was never successful at talking to manager via phone call or email to this location about my moving out. I have received numerous letters about excessive late fees , even though I called corporate about my move out date and she was supposed to make note of it because I couldn't reach anyone local. I'm not paying any of those ridiculous fees due to the owner/ managers laziness and incompetence.

The General manager at this location was multi tasking upon pickup & drop off. I was shocked. She was moving trailers, showing & renting units while also answering the phone. Also, looked as if she was taking part in maintenance on vehicles as well. Amazing. This lady works hard for this company!! M

The female manager lacks people skills and often ignored customers. On several occasions the gate was blocked by large trucks The back wooden fence has several boards missing and lying on the ground. For the price I was paying I believe the grounds should have been better kept.

I would not recommend to anyone because of all the u haul trucks. I went several times and they were blocking parking, and entrance gates, 1 time I went and they had cones in front of the gate during business hours. If your going to close you need to let your renters know. Only dealt with employees 1 time to sign paperwork it was okay but he made me buy a lock from them when I had my own. Raised prices while I was there . I think prices are too high but I guess that's everywhere now...

The staff members don't seem to like their job very much. I moved into my unit yesterday and I rented a uhaul. The first time I went to unload there was a uhaul parked in front of my unit and the second load I unloaded there were 3 uhauls parked in front of my unit. It made it very inconvient to move into my unit, when I was unable to pull right up to it and unload.

The rental started off with a great experience and then went downhill fairly quickly. I had birds nesting in the top of my storage and their nest and droppings would get into my unit. Then the facility became more interested in truck rentals than in storage and within the last two years you could barely get in or out of the facility without dodging Uhaul trucks. Multiple times the entrance and exit would be blocked and you couldn't get in or out of the facility without waiting for a long period of time for them to move trucks and/or trailers around.

Because of all the UHaul rental equipment & trucks, access throughout the facility was extremely difficult. There were times I couldn't get to the entrance for my unit without waiting for an employee to move a UHaul truck. In addition, while I was in my unit (early August), several low flatbed UHaul trailers were left near the back of my car where I couldn't see them. I backed into the hitch end of one, doing $2 500 of body damage to my car. My opinion - you need to decide whether you want to have a storage unit facility, or a UHaul rental facility. There is not enough room for both. I am not the only renter who feels this way. I overheard several people saying they were done trying to maneuver around the UHaul trucks, and were planning to go elsewhere. This is the SOLE reason why I moved out.

Good experience EXCEPT there are U-Haul trucks parked (stored) about 15 feet from the front of the "drive up" storage locker. In our 20' U-Haul truck, we couldn't park directly in front of the locker so we had to unload our stuff at the end of the building and carry it all to the locker! Not really "drive up"!

The management staff is horrible. Unfriendly from the start. We had one free month of storage because we rented a one way trailer. We live in Georgia and brought furniture to our son who lives in Broken Arrow. I emptied the unit well in advance of renewal date. Filled out "application" to vacate online on Aug 8, never got confirmation from BA location. Received bill from BA location, called Uhaul, spent 15 min waiting to talk to a person. And, several calls to the BA location with NO answer, just kicked over to corporate. After conversation with corporate, assured me they sent vacate request to BA location and email. Aug 28, two weeks later I receive a letter from BA location stating I owe one month's rent AND a late fee!!!! Tried to call BA location AGAIN....no answer. Final verdict, had to send my son IN PERSON in get our account settled. I will probably get six more erroneous bills for filling out this review, but they need to get their office management together!

U-Haul went above and beyond offering a free month of storage for flood victims, which I was one of. They put the word out on radio and every news station in town. I highly recommend & always will.

I was a little disappointed they wanted to raise my cost there at the last and I never was sure if I had taken my account off auto pay. We got it figured out before we left but it was confusing.

Very appreciate with you employees because they got to know me. For example, when I arrived there, they would give me a blank paper and pen. Reason for that is because they knew that I am deaf.

I no longer required my unit but accidently left my lock on it. I asked for it to be cut off. They refused. They have harrassed me for months about it. I even contacted corporate and nothing happened.
