Robert BI've been renting vehicles and trailers for years and this experience is making look at other sources for my future business. I never had a location charge extra fees and then lie to make excuses. I was told the vehicle needed extra cleaning. My employees and I cleaned it out. Why else would be returned 12 hours earlier without being cleaned. will not be back there again.

KEVIN H | Premières impressionsOnly one complaint, which I forgot to mention when I dropped the van off. Apparently someone had cleaned the floor mats with something that left them feeling slippery. Unfortunately, that slipperiness transferred to my sneakers, and also to the gas and brake pedals, so I had to be very careful that my foot did not slip off of them, especially the brake pedal. My wife had the same issue on the passenger side, which made it a little dangerous when she was trying to exit the vehicle.

Saidam SWhile your customer service people were nice, they put me in the wrong truck. It was filthy and needed the alignment done so badly that the wheel was almost 45 degrees out of center while driving. This could have been avoided when I called to ensure my rental would be for the above location they assured me that it would be and offered me a 20' truck instead of the 15' truck due to an issue (didn't state the reason but that I was assured to have a truck at the above location) Now I know why. AND it felt like a death trap on the Highway the entire drive (85 miles!!!!). I am a skilled truck driver so I know how to handle this and roadside assistance would have been zero help. Other than to cause further delay. I got up there and contacted the second location. Only to be informed that it had a HISTORY of being passed along and not fixed!!! Inside the box was a zipper bag for packing blanket return and it was filled with cigarettes!!!! I don't smoke!! And because I limped YOUR equipment to my location and returned it you wanted to try to charge me another day??????? Make this make sense. NEVER RENTING ANOTHER TRUCK FROM YOU EVER!!!!!

The equipment was clean, had enough gas and the customer service rep at the front desk gave me information on ezpass, estimated breakdown of the billing and I was able to leave my personal car on property until I return the rental. I will use this location for future rentals.

Timothy KThis location is fine but Uhaul has some work to do in the area of customer service at a higher level. The website said that 748 Sicklerville Road in Williamstown, NJ has trailers available. This is a lie. When I selected that location there were no trailers available in any size at any time. I wanted to rent from this location because it is convenient for me, the customer. I reserved a trailer at Sicklerville Road, printed my reservation at Sicklerville Road, but there was no way I could ever rent from Sickerville Road because to that point Uhaul lied to me. Instead, I luckily noticed that my reservation had been moved to Berlin. That is the first problem. The second problem is that instead of Uhaul moving the equipment to my selected location, Uhaul forced me to chase down Uhaul equipment in an area unfamilar to me. If Uhaul understood customer service, Uhaul would have moved its equipment to Sicklerville Road to satisfy my reservation on Sicklerville Road. After all, it does have wheels. No, instead Uhaul prefers that I, the customer, go out of my way and suffer the inconvenience of moving Uhaul equipment, This is very poor customer service at a higher level of management, which is disconnected from its customers. I do want to make it clear that the people at the Berlin location were fantastic, it's upper management that sucks.

My original location for a reserve did not have the trailer and calling for help either put me back to the main phone menu after being transferred, or being transferred to the wrong department. Called cedar brook on my own quicker than it would have been dealing with the help line.

Francisco GImprove on having the right location and the location having the right truck. I had to wait over 1 hr at both location when I rented just to receive the truck when I had 24/7 service. The second place I actually had to go to another location to pick up a truck because it was never confirmed but It was not communicated to me.

Ross WBrian was not friendly at all from the moment I walked in to pickup to the moment I returned the truck. He confirmed that I placed an order for two rental dollies and then handed me the keys for the truck and said your trucks outside to the right never explained how to figure out which truck was mine. I was looking at the doors for the codes on the door to match the keys. I had to walk behind the building and ask somebody behind the building that was working And he took me over and told me they have the numbers at the very top of the truck. I get to the place that I am moving out of open up the truck and there's no dollies on the back I called the store he asked if I want to come back to pick them up which I said no because I'm gonna pay more money and gas to go pick them up so he never apologized or anything. He just said that he would take them off the Bill I was not pleased at all and I would not recommend this location to anyone. I would also never use this location again when moving.

MICHAEL CI was recently blocked from my container with a lock on Went to find out why and was told my credit card was not available. Because my wallet was stolen and cards were cancelled . A simple phone call would have been appreciated but no I wasn't given that courtesy. I will say the young lady at the desk was helpful but your company doesn't know the meaning of so . I was also told I was grandfathered in because I was there so long but now you keep raising my rent . I'm looking for somewhere else to go at this point . Your customer relations stink.

Allow instant messaging to that store manager without a problem. Central staff gave me reasons why they would not allow the IM . Only until I pushed the issue did they relent.
MICHAEL STricia was "sensational" to me and made my whole U-Haul daily rental experience rewarding. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and kind. The truck was clean and in excellent shape as was the whole Route 73 faculty. I highly recommend anyone to rent from the facility.

LINDA MThis is the 2nd time dealing with this location. Each time your staff was beyond amazing! Being in the Hospitality & Customer Service field myself for over 30 years, most times you are left beyond disappointed. Not the case either time. Your Manager the 1st time was absolutely the best , 10 out of 5 Stars. This second time, I wasn't sure what to expect, hoping for a similar experience. Very young gentleman, apologize i forgot his name. Absolutely the same exceptional service I received, yet again. Though this location is out of my way, however, because of the exceptional service provided both times, I ended up renting a storage unit from this location {there is one about 3 minutes from my house, this is about 15-20 minutes away}. Long story short, each interaction was great!! I wish more companies had employees, such as you have. Even though I had just a few minor questions, they never seemed as though it was a burden to answer them. They answered them and then some, never woth any anger, disgust or makingme seem like I was takinguptheir time, rather the opposite. Beyondfriendly, knowledgeable and seemingly genuinely caring staff. Again, I would absolutely highly recommend this location, based on the staff alone!! Being in the Service field for many decades now, making a customer feel welcomed goes a long way!! A++++++ Thank you both for the times you spent with me. The insurance company denied me because of no forced entry the lock was completely broke off the door but no dates and times when it happened and i was paying every month for an empty storage unit... This place is totally at fault and are refusing to do anything about my deceased mothers belongings with my belongings and priceless memories as well

I needed a lot of info, because I never rented a stall before, and was somewhat green. My 91 year old mother, could no longer live by herself, ans my sisters had moved out of state. In the process of selling her house, I had a lot of personal property to sell of dispose of. She thought she would have been going into a senior home, but that would not work well because of her health. The little bit that she would have taken to the nursing home, is the last items before the sale is done. I have no more room in my home, and neither does the family. She wants us all to have her possessions to remind us of her. It is a lot of work, but I must take care of her myself. We rented a 5'X10'X10', in the climate control section. The salesman shower me the sizes of the storage units, the items that I would need to make the move, and education me on all the new agenda. I think we should be able to fit it all, and other family members will have a need for what she owns in the unit. I am happy that all has turned out well, you guys are great. Thank You.

Yet, 3 weeks later, I still received a billing reminder. I had to call the office multiple times to get ahold of someone - when I did, they had no record that I'd cleared my unit. Although the matter was resolved, it was frustrating.
