The vehicle had no gas when I picked it up even tho we had to pay for a gas fee and then also add gas ourselves. doesn't make sense what I'm paying for. I'd recommend having the vehicles filled ready to go. cuts into my time I have booked to use the uhaul, also is just poor customer service. The Uhaul app is not very good. Trying to drop off the uhaul after close was a really long process we had to contact customer support.

Lonnie HillThe equipment wasn't assigned to my reservation and I had to wait half hour to get the truck. The vehicle I did get had smoke ash in it, the doors weren't locked, and it made loud noises while I drove it. It worked out in the end, but it was not convenient and they didn't adjust the price or drop off time since I went to pick up at 530 and didn't get in until 6pm. The person assisting on the phone was helpful.

Felt like going over cobblestones with the flat trolleys. Lost a couple of items off the trolley because of the super bumpy hallway. Broke a couple of things.

Temesgen HagosThe app wasn't working, when I arrived the booking was not linked to my account so I couldn't pick up without speaking to someone. I had to find the truck on my own in cold weather and the truck was covered in snow and had freezing rain on the windshield for sure 4 days before I picked it up. It was a horrible experience.

Nathaniel DangkwatThe lot was hard to get into mostly because there was a uhaul truck parked in the middle of the lane so I couldn't make the turn with the trailer I was towing. Eventually after going in and asking for it to be moved it was. Once I had the attention of the staff they were very helpful. Moving isn't easy I get it. It's nice that they now hook up and unhook the trailer. Overall a good experience and cost effective

Adedayo RotimiI really resent being charged so much for gas when I drove less than 30 KM. I was not able to fill it because I wanted to return it before the store closed at 7:00 PM and I arrived at 6:50 PM. I was okay with paying $2,05/litre for the hassle, but I was charged $60 for fuel costs. I disputed the charges on the app and it looks like I was credited $15 but that's not enough. $45 for gas is more than I used, even at $2,05/litre.
james maceyI was 1st booked at mcphillips than got punted to inkster then got punted to Dufferin. My time was cut from 24 hrs to 16hrs. This was the worst reservation that I've ever had. Yet it was done online with cc Never again. It caused so much stress and now I have to use my car and family members.

Samara BadiukDefinitely not using U-Haul anymore. I paid 200 a month to storage my things since February and when I moved out I found mice and not just that the mice eat my couches and had to throw them out, along with other things that were full of mice feces. Not nice could've paid cheaper at Dino's at least they advise you about the mice. Storage hours are advertised 24/7 but they are not, only until 10pm I could go on and on. I will use u-hauls trucks in the future but I am done using U-Haul storage you guys need to step your game up when it comes to providing rents of storages that have living mice in there. Not healthy at all, someone could call the health department, mice and their feces are really a threat to people's health. Let's hope I didn't bring none of them critters to my new home otherwise I'd be posting a public review.

Then my truck rental was screwed up, knowing full well I was going one day, then they over charged me. The truck brakes were horrible and I did report it. The truck was a huge dirty mess both back and in the cab. There was food and drinks spilled all over. Then they overcharged me. Pathetic service

Celine Dainhi | Expérience généraleModern,clean facility but poorly run by incompetents!Absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction and support staff rude and insolent.Assigned wrong locker at move in necessitating 2 extra hours of labour to remove belongings and repack correct locker!Never received locker key…attempts to determine status of lock per Amandeep 3/7 prior to move out fruitless.She had promised to check locker and call me if locksmith needed but didn't.Luckily,I had foresight to ask movers to bring lock cutters with them.After 45 minutes,the crew was able to break open the lock,albeit with mild ,unavoidable cosmetic damage to the flange.The damage would not have occurred and I would not have had to pay the movers almost an extra hour of labour if Amandeep had checked the lock as promised,allowing me to pre-emptively arrange for a locksmith to open the locker!To add insult to injury,I received a very insolent call from ?Amandeep's husband yesterday demanding that I pay $25 for damage to the ratchet!In all my years,I have never been spoken to so rudely.This U-haul will need a complete change in management before i could ever recommend it to anyone. My ears are sensitive so had to embrace it every time. My storage room was big and there was no light in there. I had to use my phone flash light to go look for something. I did tell staff but nothing was done.

Nisal Amarathunga | Online Move InI've used other uhaul storage locations before and I have never experienced what I had experienced at this location. There was LIVE mice in my boxes! There were also dead ones! And besides the mice there was SO MUCH mice droppings and mice urine all over my possessions. Like I said, I've used other locations before and this has never happened to me. I won't be using this storage location again for that reason. All my belongings are basically garbage and I'll have to replace them. Which really defeated the purpose of storing and wasting money on storage this whole time!

Dismissed by manager like I was some type of scoundrel, lawsuit pending. -Aluminum locking mechanism on outside of locker breaks almost immediately after move in, forced to DIY the locker closure for rental term or otherwise spend hours of my own time to have it fixed properly. Billed $50 upon move out. Aluminum is well known for it's robust qualities (sarcasm). -Dirty facility, visible and sizable accumulation of airborne dust in my lockers from onsite construction, no attempts by Uhaul or contractors to mitigate dust migration, i.e. hanging plastic sheeting would have done the job easily. No offers by management to compensate facility users for cleaning. -Evidence of rodent activity in lockers. No observable anti-rodent measures at the facility. -Claims of a secure facility are basically a joke. Worst storage experience to date. One would do well to avoid business with this operator. ps. Staff were helpful, manager was not.
David Wityk | Expérience généraleAs all Uhaul locations are different, there was no CLEAR indication that a user needs to enter their code in two different panels 2 feet away from each other, just to get in the building and disarm the alarm for the unit. This should have been incorporated into one panel, that when you enter your code, your particular unit disarms AND entry to the building is permitted. Seems silly and unrealistic to have two panels.

Monica Zimnicki | Expérience généraleThe initial person I dealt with was difficult and holding up everything and made getting a rental agreement tough and strenuous with all the stress that I was dealing with already. Even some of the other customers behind me provided their previous experience and that this normally didn't happen how he said. Once everything was dealt with I still didn't get this contract added to under my account. No payment was taken and which this costed me an hour extra when the movers for me came to obtain the key code and keys to the unit. The other guy I dealt with was newer I believe and received my frustration over the phone as I apologized to him being frustrated as I was there earlier and nonpayments was taken and the. There was an error on your end as to why my payment wasn't going through. Finally when I called back again as the kid disconnected with me another guy helped me and he is the only reason why I am giving a fair and or average rating because he fixed everything apologize and provided me with the first month free as this mishaps was costing me money and time from my property management group. If it wasn't for him I probably have a worse mental breakdown then I did with dealing with everything that I' did that week.

Staff kept assuring me the free month of storage was only for out of province moves even though everywhere it was advertised seemed to indicate it would come with any truck rental. (Even had an email going "Alice, you qualify for a month of free storage!) Ended up paying for a storage unit I was not expecting to pay for. Will not be coming back.

Then to take a look at my locker, took forever. I was watching "the guy" go check my locker. First, he had to ask the people behind me again, second, he then lifted a forklift then loaded some chairs and blankets on it and took it somewhere outside along the way to my locker. I had to leave, I was in a rush but I knew things were fine. "The guy" was pretty loud and straight forward, but I believe that's just his demeanour. Also "the guy" was just trying to do his job and multitask at the same time. Which he was pretty good at btw. All satisfactory!

We had to brush off everything before moving out. Also it is good you guys are open 7 days a week but NOT having 24 hour access to the unit is NOT good when you have customers that work long hours and need to get into the unit. I was told we could only access the unit during certain hours 7am to 7pm Mon to Thursday and until 8pm on Friday and on 5pm on Sundays. It should be accessible 24 hours to customers since you have cameras and an access card?? I am not very happy with this and the dirty unit we experienced.

I was trying to remove a metal chair feom a highrt up spot in the locker, the chaiir came loose, I tried to back away, but the back of my head got caugjt in the rope loop hanging from the bottom of the overhead door and the metal chair hit me in my mouth breaking my teeth. Besides my broken teeth everything was great.

Einer Gislason | Premières impressionsthe staff were not knowledgeable about things. the attitude was less than acceptable. i got improperly charged for the uhaul truck rental and still am working on that issue. overall not a good experience/ the floor in the building was all broken up so made moving the cart difficult. the yes or no part of your review is not accurate either as there are parts that the answer is of a partly nature, as in parts of the facility clean and well maintained and other parts not like the floor area near the entrance of the storage area is broken up, anyway i am displeased with being charged when i was told no charges for the extra days or mileage with the truck. i have been a uhaul user for many years and this is my first encounter of not being satisfied. please fix the issue of the charges. thank you. However, there was only one person working in the store at the time, and he was in the break room when we arrived an hour after opening, so we waited outside the locked door for about 5 minutes for him to come outside. He was very friendly but continually mis entered information, like the address and our names, and otherwise asked for information I didn't have (like a Manitoba drivers license). He also did not give us the unit number until after we got into the storage area because he'd forgetten. Totally respect that times are tough right now but please hire two people for a location because this man was struggling
