Adjust the issue of all the gas being siphoned out of the tank. I had to pay 35 dollars for 18 miles used. It's not my fault the siphoning is done but 20 dollars in the tank didn't even get the tank above empty. I wasn't sure if I'd run out. Either put locks on the tanks or a fence with spikes. The customer shouldn't have to pay!!

First of all, everyone of the U-Haul employees I dealt with were excellent. However, the truck I rented had some of its gas siphoned before I even inspected the truck. The gas cap was open even though another 10 ft truck was parked inches from that side to prevent this (they must have crawled underneath to siphon ?). The tank was less than 3/8 full as described on my contract, and I don't doubt the heady rains would've let water into the tank. The text I received for the checkout process did not let me upload images (I have screen shots of the failed attempts on that site). I had to call in a couple of times to make sure this was all ok - a bit of a process. I was also disappointed that the truck had not been swept out - there's a fair amount of dirt and bits of gravel inside. I have photos of that too - and had to clean the truck before I could use it to move our furniture.

The light in the storage unit area is on a motion detector so it goes off shortly after you are outside of its line of sight. Initially, my experience was terrible due to some extremely bad treatment I received from an employee and the manager being only somewhat helpful. I was weary every time I had to return there. Thankfully, there must've been a change in management and employees because from my third revisit onward, everyone was exceedingly friendly, helpful and polite.

The video sent with instructions of how to retrieve the truck before business hours was totally false & misleading. I wasted 1:45 minutes of my morning attempting to pickup the truck before business hours The information provided was not accurate my reservation was not on record inside the App I had to contact the U-Haul representatives to help me follow the correct steps & release the truck I wasted approximately 1:45 minutes of my day & would like to compensated for my time please.

Your online check in is the worst experience I have ever had. Called in customer service and no one seemed to know what to do. Spoke to 3 different people finally someone mentioned that the app was not working after other 2 told me to navigate on the app. Will not recommend anyone using the app

The reason I ended up at this location was that my first location did not have my equipment ready. I was very stressed out by the fact that they didn't tell me, until I arrived, that there was no truck available for me. I think it would have been good if they'd called me to inform me that I needed to change locations, and found the location for me and sent me there instead, BEFORE I showed up. That said, once I arrived at this location they were helpful and had everything I needed available to rent.

Need more people working at this location. Had to wait too long to rent a truck. The people were really nice though. The truck was a bit old and rough. The passenger side mirror would not adjust and there was no wide angle mirror, which is very dangerous when driving and changing lanes. They tried to charge me an extra $9 for gas when I had already put gas in to match the level I started with. Fortunately I did (and always do) took a picture of the dash gauges when I picked up the truck, which clearly showed that I brought it back with as much if not more gas than when I got it. When I showed the photo to the attendant he took off the charge with no resistance. Overall a good experience.

First off this is the third time I have had an incident with this location. I rent from multiple locations all the time but will never go back to this one. First time I was told to park on street and got a parking ticket. Second time they threatened to give away my truck if I wasn't there within 30 mins.and this last most recent time they tried to rent me a truck that was deemed undriveable … so then I was down graded once again to the smallest truck therefore having to make extra trips delivering a wedding. My client missed her photos with bouquets due to the inconvenience of your company. She is now asking for a refund which is $400 out of my pocket. So I'm expecting a full refund of this trip and also compensation for what I have to now refund.

I am an older female. I was driving a long bed when I came in to pick up a trailer. There were random men on the sidewalk and inside the Uhaul property waving me down! I put my hand up to stop and I shook my head side to side showing them I was not interested in help.Before I got out of the truck one of them approached my vehicle and tapped my window. SCARY! Additionally, ALL the trailers had debris. It was sad that there was only one person working, hustling, moving trucks, handling the returns and checkout. He had NO help, but he did an excellent job of getting to everyone in a short amount of time.

I'm a returning customer. My experiences with this U-HAUL location have always been impressively smooth. The staff has been friendly and helpful. I also appreciate the very reasonable prices and large stock on those "last minute" items one might need for moving or packing. The stock and sizes of boxes is excellent and also very reasonably priced. I have recommended the Devonshire Street location in Chatsworth to friends and neighbors. My experience at other locations was not nearly as good. They are the Best ! Neal

The hitch installer at this location is very professional and knowledgeable and even though this is the first time he installed a hitch in the Cadillac Lyriq, he has done a great job at it. Will definitely recommend.

I have rented from many Uhaul's over the years, but by far and away this is the best one I have ever used. I have used them now over 10 times either thru me or my business partner and each time they are extremely helpful, professional and straightforward. Today I rented a truck with 170,000+ miles on it so it wasn't as good as their newer trucks but I can't fault them for that. In fact if I asked to switch I am sure the would have allowed me. Always incredibly accommodating, professional and prompt. This is why I only go to them in the valley, the only other place I go is Enterprise because they have lift gates, but if this Uhaul provided lift gates you better believe this would be my one stop shop!

I would suggest they allow to pay for a prior days rental ahead of the pick up date. Spent over an hour paying for the truck during the pick up of it and we lost over an hour when we were trying to drive 6 hours each way so we can complete the delivery in one day.

I get out on my truck they say drop off I said yes any issues I said no will email you receipt in an hour. Never received a receipt email until after the fact like a day later…

My primary complaint is with the UHAL App in regards to the "return" process. I spent 20 minutes taking and re-taking pictures of the truck as the app would load/reset constantly to a point where I actually was not even able to submit the photos that were taken. There was no option to "skip" the step, and I was stuck unable to complete the checkout and had to literally give up.

Was told the truck had a full tank of gas...IT DID NOT!!! So I put 11 miles on it and made sure to put a little gas in it before I returned it to avoid being charged an large penalty for the fuel level. Would like the location to keep better track of their vehicles.

All of the staff at this location were professional and friendly. Jason was extremely helpful and efficient. I had some difficulties with the online registration and vehicle preliminary inspection, which he was able to resolve quickly. Employees like Jason portray a great image for U-Haul.

The new manager at the Chatsworth location is horrible. The rest of the staff is nice. I will never use that facility again due to Timothy Grady. Also, the lights shut off within a minute, so I hit my head because it went dark when I was retrieving things from my storage unit. Completely unsafe

The manager was polite but condescending. He initially couldn't find my reservation and then didn't acknowledge he found it and made me feel like it was my fault and I did it all wrong. After I saw the unit, I went in to speak to him because it was too small. He initially told me that he didn't have a larger one when he had just told me that there was one bigger when he couldn't find my original booking. The reality was he was having trouble finding it but could only admit that much later. I apologize for us getting off on the wrong foot, which was glad to accept, but he did not reciprocate in any way, so I gave up pursuing that path. A few hours later, as I was unloading, his employee ignored me as I tried to ask him 3x why he was walking around my trailer. When he finally responded, he was totally disrespectful. He rudely told me he worked there, as if that gave the right to do whatever he wanted to and dismissed people who speak to him. This angered me so I called him on that and he just upped his rude attitude. I told him he must hate his job and he physically threatened me. I then told him I'd call the police but he didn't seem to care. The manager came by right then and I told him what happened and all he did was tell his employee not to talk to me. There was no apologies offered and his employee was reprimanded in any way. The manager did give me an extra day on my trailer rental for free. I needed that because all their storage units were much smaller than I expected and the only other unit available was slightly bigger than the one I'd originally rented. I thought of finding another place to storage but I had to return the trailer there so I really had no choice. I wasn't told it was on the upper level so I had to spend a lot of time negotiating what I could actually put in the space. The whole experience didn't make me feel valued as a person but as just another nameless faceless customer who clearly doesn't have feelings and shouldn't speak out their thoughts when they're being mistreated. It is also clearly a place that has a culture that promotes not admitting to doing anything wrong and never apologizing, and that offering additional days free makes up for it.

Top floor storage hard to get to , needing to use a ladder to bring up items to be stored. Entrance size to storage unit not listed, it was doorway sized, not the full width of the unit. Unit, even though it was taller than bottom unit, not meant for heavy boxes since the boxes would have to be carried up a ladder.... Big safety issue!

I had to cancel my request as the doors were broken and I couldn't access the storage unit. I needed to off load stuff that day and couldn't wait 24 hours for haul to fix the doors. The customer service rep apologized for the inconvenience. He was very polite.

Highest recommend possible. Fantastic customer service, from manager Corey and all staff we encountered. Accommodating and helpful. Secure building, which is great, as our storage units at Public Storage were broken into 3 times this year. Especially convenient setup when you need to rent a truck or trailer and your storage unit is right there at the same facility - and first months rent was free because we did rent a trailer - that's how we found out about their storage facility - a $150 savings! Clean facility, well lit. On a scale of 5 stars, we actually give it 10 stars. Well done u-haul!! Personal request - Please build bigger units, we'd love to move all of our storage needs to you. Thank you for providing exceptional service 
