I'm afraid that I won't be using U-Haul again for business or personal use, due the app not being user friendly and being too cumbersome to navigate.

Joy HAs a Customer who did not install the UHaul App before arriving (and didn't really feel the need to do so since I had filled out an online form and previously submitted a reservation online) I was informed by a Staff member at that time that everything needed to be done through the App. The Employee didn't seem to want to (or was able?) to help me complete my reservation until I had downloaded the App, completed all documentation through the app, and Checked-In using only the App. So I stood in the empty storefront location (no other customers waiting upon my arrival) and did all of this while the App slowly loaded and I went through a slightly confusing process of confirming and checking-in to my existing reservation using the app. At no time, did she offer to help me complete the process using her computer even though I mentioned that I had an emailed copy of the reservation and confirmation code. This process took 20 minutes, meanwhile my booked time is continuing to advance. Overall, I did not appreciate that I needed to install an App (that I will rarely ever use), and then was dismissed at every chance possible to help expedite the process In Person while my Reserved time was ticking by minute by minute.... Please reconsider a blanket policy of "only using the App" when a Customer is standing in the lobby of your facility and there are no other customers requesting help at that time.

Sandra QThe only negative thing we'd have to say is the drop off procedure took over 20 minutes. We had to take 14 pictures of the truck we rented then 14 more pictures of the car tow we rented. Not really that big of an issue, but after 6 hours of moving, this was the last thing we wanted todo.
Greg BEverything was great except for the long haired man that was handling equipment returns that was harassing me while I was returning my van. I was following the prompts using the app to return my truck like the woman inside said to do, and then the long haired man was almost screaming at me asking why I was taking pictures and hurrying me up to finish. He was completely unprofessional and was smoking in the U-Haul truck in front of my van (if cleanliness of the vehicles is important, then why is this man smoking in one?). When the app was giving me issues, I went back inside and the woman helped me. The long haired man came inside and made passively rude comments to me. All I was doing was following what the woman inside was asking of me.

When returning the truck the gentleman that checked it in, he was super nice. He would be the only reason I would return to this location or refer to family and friends.

ROSE MI understand that there are some additional cost involved with the 19,95 rentals but I feel this should be a bit more transparent so that customers have a clearer idea about how they are being charged. Jay NQuick reservations online, quick check-in at store, quick hook-up, and quick return. We rented a trailer and didn't even have to get out of the van upon return. Kurt and Ozzy did a great job in all areas. Would recommend this location (full service U-Haul store) over others.

They were efficient, kind and communicative with us throughout our journey, which wasn't exactly smooth lol and it was a long ride. They truly were a blessing to us!
