I have no complaints concerning my recent experience with this location. I made my reservation on the website which was eady to navigate through. The truck was very clean and equipment was available. Staff was pleasant and professional.

Mice infested storage units. (I didn't have no food products of any kind in my storage just furniture and clean clothing I washed prior to storing) the traps and sticky pads they had in place did nothing all I would see is droppings around the traps.

There were rats in my unit and because their gate was broken on several occasions as well as stuck open after each customer I could not get the insurance on the unit to assist because the facility lies and stated I hadn't been there in months which was false. I would never recommend I lost valuable items that cost so much and they were ruined

I moved out on the app ( took screenshots and picture proof of my move out ) I moved to a whole different state I took the lock off but I was coming back to get the trash from my unit when I came back it had a new C lock on it and the office was closed I had to leave …. Fast forward I was told that the move out had to be done in person I was no longer in the state and not only does it let you do it on the app it lets you do it online!!! Why have it to where you can move out on there but I'm supposed to come inside on top of that they could see the unit was empty when the new lock that wasn't mine was put on the unit… fast forward again I expressed that to them and ever since then I've gotten numerous calls and emails about my unit as well as a FINE for a unit I MOVED OUT OF BEFORE MY MOVE OUT DATE!!!! I'm so disappointed tbh this is the worst experience I've had at uhaul I had my things there for 3 years with no problem and this is how I get done!!! I'm not paying a fee for a unit that I moved out properly on my end… if I was supposed to come inside to move out that would have been stated somewhere and it should be taken off the site AND THE APP as an option !! Shìt makes no sense

There were rats in my storage , messed up all my furniture clothes and im very disappointed in uhaul ,this location is unsafe , a hazard and needs to be shutdown . Will never rent again from uhaul storage .very poor experience overall

Horrible. The access code did NOT work and I still had to go inside and wait after signing up online. The unit was not in good shape as the ceiling had two giant wholes and I could see through to the metal roof and the insulation was hanging out! I had to demand another one. The wait time was ridiculous and caused me to have to rent my truck an extra day. To make thing worst, I was given a new unit that I had no time to inspect and I was charged full price so the promotion for first month free is not invalid and I just wish I had chosen a diffent rental company. This is the WORST experience and I would never recommend this storage location or U-Haul to anyone.

The truck was a bit difficult to use. The ramp and rear door were extremely hard to open/close as if they need some dw40 or other lubricant. But overall this location was good and the two Ladies that assisted me were great.

First off I only give 5 stars for nice staff and them having a settlement program to help you keep your things if you can't afford to pay the full amount .. however, they have a major rat problem that needs addressed. I had to throw half my storage away from rat poop being all over the place.

The attendant had a terrible attitude. The truck was dirty on the outside and not pulled out front and readily accessible for me when I arrived. It was over an hour before I could leave and my dolly that I requested was not with the truck. I had to wait for the so called manager to get to the location with the dolly. Horrible customer service!

Customer service was horrible. They were too busy having dinner at the front counter to take care of the customer. The management was even worse they had no professionalism. God awful attitude while tending to the customers needs. Management not caring about their employees poor customer service skills. I wouldn't recommend them to my most hated enemy.

The customer service agent was nice, however she was the only person available which caused a long delay in being service. In addition, I still have yet to receive an access gate card because the machine wasn't working correctly and the agent FAILED to remember to bring it to me. In addition, she advised the security gate wouldn't me working for awhile. I feel as if I should recieve a discount if I'm not fully receiving the services I pay for. Not to mention there were a mouse trap and other contraption in my storage unit. The storage door it weird as it loops over blocking the way. In all honesty I'm quite disappointed and would like a discount. Not to mention I was charged for a lock when online it stated it would be free. I do worry about my belongings considering the facility does not have a properly function gate to provide extra security.

I had to throw furniture away because of mold and rodents. From day one I asked if my door could be fixed and I was told that they would be out in a week to fix it I was there for a whole year and not once did they call to fix it, one day I went to get something out of my unit and they were about to repaint the door instead of replacing had I not shown up that's exactly what would have happened, I asked again if they could fix the door basically every time I asked them they told me that the door was on back order or the people were coming out in a week. I was not offered any kind of incentives but I was notified about a increase in rent.

THIS UHAUL LOCATED 2505 CANDLER RD DECATUR, GA 30032 .I rent a U-Haul FOR 19$ + milage . MILAGE came to 47,4$. I was ask to put 85$ dwn for hold. I pick up approx 12:36 pm on a Thursday return 7am the following day. They charged me an extra 107,37$. I had the van under 24hr. Back in perfect condition. Ended up paying 193,7$ to rent for under a day. THIS IS A RIP OFF. I was OVER CHARGED And currently seeking money back,. Do not go here please . Believe me, I do not bad mouth a business unless it's something to say. My bill should have been bo more than 65$-70$. Please do not rent here.

I have called in and complained about the situation on two occasions and I have let them know that the workers at the location had the manager on the phone they told me they cannot swap out my vehicle it was unsafe to drive they told me the only way I could get a truck would be rerent one I feel that it was discrimination against me and my coworker I told them I did not have the money to rent one I want approximately 11 miles they checked me unauthorized I did not ask to be checked in I asked to be swapped out because the vehicle I rented was very unsafe they didn't care they were very unprofessional I feel like I was very mistreated and not of any of importance!

When getting the car had a 30 minute wait because the employee was sleep in the back. When returning an employee was too busy worrying about the news she just heard on her phone she had to finish up her conversation before she acknowledged me at her job.

The only reason I'm rating this location as poor is because it was the third location I had to go to in order to drop off equipment. I literally had to drive all over Atlanta and was told at different locations that trailers were no longer being accepted. This was abysmal customer service. However, the manager at the 4540 location was professional and responsive and did a great job.

The truck was clean to the visual eye however it smelled terrible and the person that gave us the truck didn't even tell us to check or do the inspection. I had to rewash all my clothes and linens. And some of furniture ended up smelling.

When I did my order online it seems like it was ready but when I got there to put my stuff in it had a red tag on it an I had to go to the office an see why it was not ready the lady go say she don’t know why her manager gave me that unit because it was somebody else’s I had to show her my order that I had on my phone an I had to go get a lock for it because the lock was not In said my unit

I had my unit for six years upon turning 65yrs old could no longer afford the storage advised the mgr and UHaul prolonged the auction for 5 months ending charges are 1034.41. this is no way to treat senior citizens have contacted legal counsel and Better call Harry!!

Atlanta staff were amazing accommodating to restructure my storage needs. They called immediately to two other nearby locations and found the drive up unit that I originally requested. Returning the truck was OK. I would recommend U-Haul. PS the Miami locations were a lot more challenging due to not accommodating closer locations for pick up of truck rentals twice.

I had to pay for a extra month rental when I was moving out on the first day of the month. The reason for this was due to the manager not returning my calls or responding to emails from U-Haul corporate. So for me two things are at play here 1) these managers do what they want 2) they're hard up for money. So I will never store with Uhaul again because I don't have to give them my money if this is how we do business.

Because my storage door was dented in twice by someone and it took forever to get it fixed to the point my furniture molded do to the rain and mist that got in the and buges were in there also. Some of the employees and management was nice but I can say that for all.

It was a little cluttered because after hours people would return their U-Haul trucks and they would block the entry way to the storage area so you couldn't get to the gate to get into your storage

Upon renting the storage unit it was not clean the manager had to sweep it out. The unit was not convenient for access (it was located between two fences behind the management office. Also when I moved my belongings out of the unit, there is evidence of rodents having contact with it. Photos have been taken of rodent droppings and rodent hair all over my things. I would never recommend this Uhaul storage location to anyone. Furthermore people who rent storage units pay too much to have their things destroyed by rodents and infestations. I am wholeheartedly disappointed with this matter.

The lady that checked me in had amazing customer service skills but the access to the storage unit was not easily accessible with the size truck I had… I had the worst time trying to get the truck to the unit an at that point the staff wasn’t helpful at all

The facility manager Rochell Baker is rude and very unprofessional. Each time I had to speak with the staff at this location was almost unbearable. They are on personal calls on their cell phones loud with long lines of customers. The units were not well maintained and my items were damaged by mold growing on my furniture. They leave returned equipment trucks and car tows blocking the path to the gate. On my move out date they refused to move a truck so my moving company could get into the facility. This cost me extra because they were on the clock as soon as they arrived. It took over 45 mins for the staff to move a truck so my movers could get to my unit. Based of my experience from move in to move out I will never use Uhaul again. I definitely expected better since I've been a customer of Uhaul for many year and have used the services in many different states and locations. Perhaps there should be some re-training exercises in customer service skill or get new staff especially the Baker. She is ruining Uhaul's reputation. If zero was an option I would rate this location -0. Bye bye Uhaul, never again. FYI : I have pictures and videos to prove everything stated.

Greetings, In commenting about my experience at the Uhaul facility located 4540 Washington Road College Park, I must say that it was a very enjoyable experience. All of he staff was very warm, friendly and very accommodating. With special emphasis placed on the Supervisor Ms. Baker, her staff, Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Candice including the Male staff members. When we got to the storage unit there was a lock on it we were unable to get the lock off after about 35 minutes of calling we had a return call back we were able to get in only to find out the storage unit was not suitable for storing my items the ceiling was falling down but we had no option at that time of night so my items were placed in the unit The very next morning I sent a message to the storage unit and received a call back but was not accommodated in anyway, I am disabled and hiring someone again to move the items out and getting another u haul is difficult, I was told that they did not even have another unit to rent to me I guess this is why they rented me a unit needing serious repairs. The unit should not have been rented it is in very very bad shape, I am very disappointed and sad that my items are sitting in that unit at this time but again it is very difficult for me to rent the truck find a new storage been have the stuff moved again I feel that U-Haul should have been more accommodating knowing that they rented me a unit in need of serious repairs. I am unable to share the photos in this review, but would love to.

While in general I had no bad experience, before the security gate was installed it was sometimes difficult to access the storage as you would need to get a key from the office to get into the unit. Besides that, as time passed and management changed, the experience improved. The latest management team was very understanding and helpful. Unfortunately, my financial situation was disturbed and I had to surrender my unit. Thank you U-Haul for being there for me even at my worst. It has been a pleasant experience.

Was not happy because the storage unit I reserved was not available when I got to the location so I had to take a smaller unit because I had to be out of my home on the day of the rental and all of my things did not fit so I'm forced to get another smaller unit to fit the rest of my things. And this was on top of the bad day I already had dealing with uhaul over all. Not a happy customer!

Called the office several times and was told I needed manager to prorate rental. Stopped by office and was told needed to come into office when manager was available to prorate rental. At the end of the day , manager said there is no prorating and had to pay $175 for 5 days. Done with U-Haul - moving on.

There were HUGE roaches in my stuff when I got my things out of storage. In total we saw 3 and I feel that this is totally unacceptable. The prices are pretty moderate to high, so I don't expect to bring home pests. I am hopeful that none escaped the boxes while we were unpacking and disappeared. I'm very disappointed in U-haul and will never use them again.

Everything was good until it was time to move my things ,I moved out on 4-14-20 Before my due date not 4-22-20 ,No one told me to take the lock off unit so I was still being charged ,I was told afterwards on 4-22-20 that I would be charged my regular monthly plus 25!dollars for leaving 3 items behind ,so once I came to remove my lock I discovered that there was another lock on my unit so I couldn’t not get inside ,so I couldn’t not retrieve the items that were left so I got upset and left

My unit was not climate-controlled therefore my furniture and clothing got ruined and had to be thrown out. I was able to save some photos and mementos. But after more than 2 years, I lost a lot.

My storage was broken into the manager his wife and his brother works and live on the property.... when I got there they had put a new lock in my unit.....and had complete access.....

Poor management that argues with customers. Overcharging every month. Paying for 24 hour access was a joke because the gates always had issues and only operable while staff was onsite.

The staff and the facility needs improvement. Some of my items were damaged and the General Manager didn't handle the situation properly. The staff lacks customer service experience. Never again Uhaul

I close my account !talk to manager about situation and was still charge for months of charges up on charges .Last bill I received said 59 once talk to manager received a bill 300-400$

Access hours to my storage unit are horrible. No after hours access to my storage unit. No room to drive thru facility because they have uhaul trucks and trailers all throughout the facility. Hate it

Very short staffed. Ancillary staff not very helpful at all. Customer service could stand a refresher course! Contacting the local Uhaul is not an option!

They gave us a one way truck with a cracked driver side mirror. Not even a mile in the tire started wobbling then a blow out. We informed them and have not yet received a courtesy call of concern yet.

They have my move out date as July, but EVERYTHING was out of that space on March 9th . That Uhaul continues to charge me for a unit that was vacant for 4 months.

No tissue in restroom! Manager was rude and did not assist me with my lock on storage. He explained that he would get terminated if he assisted me. Dre was very helpful

Facility changed the lock on my unit causing me to break the key in the lock. Then they wouldn't remove it for me. I ended up losing all my possessions after paying fees for 8 years. Truly terrible!!
