truck needed at least one tire, very rough ride but beside that, when I returned the truck, your employee said it was 1/16 lower in gas than when i picked it up. Gast gauges are inaccurate at best. I drove the truck 65 miles, I added 10 gallons of gas. Your employee who checked the truck in told me I would be charged an additional $16 for this? This is UTTER NONSENSE! If I am charged this, I will be posting negative reviews on every platform I can find. I have rented from uhaul many times over the years, I even stored my stuff for the past 4 months at the coram location. Eric at that location has been great but he wasnt there when I returned my truck. I believe this is just a money grab of $16. I did not authorize the additional $16

The gentleman that helped me , he was very professional . I had self pickup but the uhaul app wouldn't work and I was walking around in parking lot trying to figure out . The gentleman saw me outside in the parking lot and actually came upto me out of his to see if he could assist me and helped me pickup rental rest of the way . I had a drive up unit. Kept my motorcycle there. I didn't have much need to interact with staff. However I was always greeted with a friendly smile and a hello. Very friendly staff.

Go to u-haul in coram for all of your needs! I've used the storage and the truck rental here several times. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. Eric is fantastic, Mika is the best! The unity and the facility is always super clean and organized. I genuinely love this location. Great team there!

The customer service at this location was excellent. The flexibility of renting and returning equipment (after hours) was especially helpful. I was a bit disappointed that I had to rent a larger vehicle than I wanted, but it was the same price as the smaller one so it didn't really matter.

Driver door was a little banged in so door was hard to shut and tire service monitor system light kept flashing. Truck ran ok but made some noise when turning. I got the job done with no break downs and it was good on gas. Mika and Eric who ran the place were fantastic. Knowledgeable and very customer focused. They wer a pleasure to work with. Cleanest U-Haul facility I have ever been in by far. Train all your employees to be like these to and your customers will always be satisfied and loyal.

The service was excellent, reservations were easy, the agents were professional and answered all questions that I had. As promised, the cargo van I rented was clean and drove okay but probably needs some updating.

I do understand that this is a business and they have to make money as well. But they charge you a late fee 2 days after your bill is due. Times are hard and if someone has to wait 3 days for payday in order to pay the unit I feel like that should be taken into consideration. Normally you get at least 7 days before a late charge is submitted. Eric the manager is rude the way he speaks to you is disrespectful. Tom is always willing to help and very nice.

The manager was very mean. He accused me of not paying for my rental. He cursed me out. He reported the rental stolen when I didn't make one payment after having the van for 4 months. I was surrounded by police totally embarrassed and almost arrested when someone could have called me the manager needs to be fired. He was personally jealous ofe and didn't want me to use the van

The outside of the facility was clean but I had a drive up unit and all of my items were covered in dust. There were huge water bugs and spiders and cob webs everywhere. My bins were covered in dirt and dust. I would only recommend an inside unit.

I first called the Coram location to inquire about a storage unit and had the pleasure of speaking with Arron, the location manager. We spoke briefly over the phone and I figured it would be easier to go down and speak to him in person since I work riguht up the road and had a lot of questions. From start to finish, Arron was so friendly and helpful. We discussed my upcoming move and what would be best for me and my current situation, and I left there feeling confident that my personal belongings were in good care. Thank you, Arron! Moving can be stressful and you made this part easy and painless. Would 10/10 recommend anyone looking to rent a Uhaul vehicle or storage unit!

I was told i was gonna get a 15x9 then it was rented out and i had to pay for 2 9x9 and was given "first month free" even though i was already going to rent a truck and the promotion was first month free. Womp.

My account was not closed out the day I moved all my storage . My credit card was charged a extra month. It eventually was taken care of after I called U-Haul but the fact that it was left opened and I was charged a extra month made the difference of a 5 star rating and a 4 star rating. Otherwise all in all I would still recommend U-Haul in Coram to my friends. 4 Stars

I would only add one thing... There were some puddles on the ground of the interior first floor near the units. They seemed to just be in the hallway though, so that is why it hasn't affected my review. Other than that, very good process for me.

By far the most unprofessional experience I've had with a business to date because of the poor customer service your employee Eric Austin & Scott have provided. Eric Austin threatened and challenged me plenty of times to a fight in which I would not of been scared one bit of this little guy but I was in the process of moving furniture into storage with my family. This guy was acting as if we were on the street and even told me let's walk down the block off camera and handle it. I am 33 yrs old with 2 children & I can't believe I had to deal with this poor customer service from your company. Had I not been with my nephew and family things probably would've went a different route to teach him a lesson but I'm glad I kept cool and got my storage and got out of there. The topping on the cake as I was moving all of my storage into unit another customer comes around the corner in the biggest box truck you have and tried to cut the corner to short and smashed and swiped the whole front of my uhaul truck that was totally off with no key in it in park. This was the worst experience I've had recently with a business and most of it was due to poor customer service, one of the main things that draws attention to your company you guys shouldn't be pushing customers away based on your staffs attitude. I know Aaron personally from past business and he would've never gave me this type of customer service. I'm very sorry that you guys have to deal with these type of comments but I'm sure it isn't the first based off of his short temper and attitude.

The building my unit was in smelled like urine. There must be a person living in there. This is why I couldn't continue business with you guys. I did inform staff.

The UHAUL representative was very helpful! The unit was cleaned when he walked me to it (not his fault) and when he couldn't find another clean unit, he cleaned it himself. The unit did smell like hay but I know that was no fault of him so although that was the case, the representative was so helpful hence the above average rating.

The online check in process seemed easy but I arrived to the unit after closing. It took a while to figure out how to get into the building as I was trying to access the slide doors when Afterhours the manual entry door is the only point of access. It would have been nice to know that. Also, once I got in there was a locked padlock on my door so I couldn't get into the unit anyway. That was very poor. When I tried explaining that to the rep the next morning he wasn't understanding what I was saying even though there is no clearer way to say there was a locked padlock on my storage unit and I couldn't get in. That was very disconcerting but he was helpful and once he understood what was going on he unlocked it.

I know in business: payroll is your only controllable expense , trying to figure out your busy times could be a challenge! I'm saying that , there are some days when the facility is short staffed and the wait in the office is a little long. Still my overall experience was great. Those times when you were short staffed, the employee that was there was doing a good job.

The storage was clean and the gentlemen was friendly but my overall experience with Uhaul was a disgrace I would never recommend them to anyone They dont keep their word. If you book a truck in advance it doesnt mean anything because up to the last minute they change your order It was a great inconvenience and a supervisor never called me back when i requested. They only send emails saying they cant do anything for me

Been a client for many years there was water damage in unit that I was never notified of so I lost a few things , thanks , when I closed out I asked if there was a partial refund for the month and was told I was already out of the system and the person who closed me out said they didn't know . I called the main number waited on hold for 20 minutes , was told to call another number which I did , and was told to call the manager of the Coram location I was in , the manager was not in , no callback , no response .

These guys were top-notch, hands down. Aaron helped me out in the morning after the app screwed up my reservation (corporate needs to look into that, cmon guys). You could tell Aaron knew the place inside and out. He was super nice, quick and got me in and out with the truck I needed and had an awesome attitude the whole time. Then the gentleman at night of whom I worked with to get a larger storage space and turn my truck in could not have been more pleasant or helpful. I wish folks I dealt with at my workplace were this good at what they did. I'll use the Coram office anytime I move my stuff in the future, and will recommend to friends and family.
