Was charged an extra $80 with no explanation and this amount not reflected on the receipt I received after returning it. Had to call customer support and they told me I was incorrectly billed but the store I rented from will have to contact me to get this corrected. Will not be using this service again. Completely unprofessional and I will be disputing this charge if I am not refunded.
Grant WThe manager at this location had terrible customer service. I regularly rent from uhaul, but will be looking to change. The "new" policy to take a photo to rent a trailer because "people" steal your equipment is unacceptable. How is this information stored and when is it deleted? Is it safely protected? PII should be protected and deleted when no longer needed. The manager stated it was necessary because "people steal their equipment and they need photos to prove who rented it." However, the customer she was renting a trailer to did not have her photo taken. Not a great look to essentially call your customers thieves when they walk in to do business with you. She also said that if I do not like the policy I should rent elsewhere. We will take that advice for our future rentals.

CHRIS AShari was very kind and patient, but the RSVP system is awful. We reserved a 26' truck for an out of state move and 2 days before the move we were told that it was not available. So we ended up have to rent TWO trucks and pay a ton more money because of a U-Haul problem. We are very disappointed and unhappy. We will never use U-Haul again.

Bill KNot happy with charge when I literally used the truck for 15 mins and was told no refund $70 for 15 mins the item I went to pick up was not there so took truck right back I get I need to pay for mileage but really $70 for 15 mins

Mark OU-Haul Rental Incident/Experience Wednesday 3/20/2024 Arrived 4:10 for a 4:30 reservation/departure. Departed 4:50, 40 minutes later! An Asian?, scatterbrained woman completed the rental. She had assisted me previously, about 1 week prior on my 1st rental, and displayed at that time similar scatterbrained behavior. Her fellow employee was even annoyed. First, for this rental, she couldn't explain why the cost of the rentals, one week apart, are different for the same trailer type/size. For this most recent rental, she had me back up to the trailer I used, then changed her mind and had me back up to an adjacent trailer, then changed her mind again and had me back up to original trailer, the one I used. 40 minutes later I departed. It should have been a 5 minute procedure. I had used the app to complete details. I kept my mouth shut. I drove home and my wife and I immediately started loading. At 8 pm, I came into house to check messages. She had left frantic messages about her mistake and begged me to return the trailer. I called her back and explained we had been loading the trailer for 3 hours and it was 75 % full. I told her I was sorry for her, but there was no way I would unload the trailer and return it. I had to leave early in the morning and I was already delayed picking up the trailer. I even told her not to worry, that U-Haul would figure it out. We returned to our task and at 9:30 I again checked messages and she had left another message, wanted to have her dad come and unload the trailer. At that absurdity, I didn't bother calling back. Later I found out she even called my 2 sons and my wife's phone with frantic messages. Today, when I returned the trailer, the General Manager met me at trailer. The very first thing out of her mouth was "that was really wrong of you not bringing the trailer back when asked". I was flabbergasted. She assumed I was the villain. I had beforehand decided not to say anything of the insubordination that occurred on pickup, but with the remark, I knew she was misinformed and told her so. She asked for my version. After telling her, she made the condescending remark: "I know, I know, the customer is always right". I'm sure U-Haul doesn't approve of this behavior from its employees. I would not have said or written anything, if it hadn't been for the opening remark of the general manager. Obviously, the employee that assisted in checking out had not given her an accurate account of the incident, likely to cover her insubordination.

Robert DThe location was nice to work with. However the quality of the trucks have gone downhill. The I got definitely should be retired. Wasn't able to adjust the mirrors to see anything in the drivers side, steering was extremely loose and hard to drive at any speed above 35 mph, the cab smelt of exhaust fumes at stops. It did its job but if I had to move more than a couple miles each way, it would have been terrifying.

Tom GI thought the person who helped us did a great job. However, perhaps scheduling more help on Saturday mornings would be something to consider since it seems that would be a busier time. Other than that small thing, I was pleased with the overall experience.
Gerald AGreat experience but please stop with the "$19,99". I went 10 miles in less than 2 hours and cost was $47. I do love uhaul and will keep renting, but it's good to know the actual cost.

LESLIE CWe have rented here a few times and the place is great, staff is nice and helpful. When I have shown up to pick up or return in four or five visits I need to find someone working though. This place is huge and brand new but I can't understand why I need to find anyone there. Staff is great but you (Uhaul) are setting them up for failure as you have one person out in the lot prepping things or checking them in while you have customers in your space waiting and trying to find any help. Seems like a matter of time before someone comes in and starts stealing things. Last time I was there I had to walk the entire facility including the shop and still couldn't find anyone. Finally had the person I was with drive your huge lot and they finally found the only person working.

ROBERT PI was under the impression I could take back closer to where I was living and after finding out I couldn't they wouldnt accomodate at all, and charged $79 for a late fee because I had to take it all the way back to littleton.
Sheila GTEN GOLD STARS for the GREAT Owner/General Manager SHARI DOOLEY of the DAKOTA RIDGE U-Haul Moving & Storage Facility in Littleton, CO 80127!!! This facility came HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I am VERY GLAD that I chose it!!! Shari checked me out at 8:00 AM with a 15' truck with a ramp. When I returned the truck after a long & hard move just before 8:00 PM the facility was closed and I had to drop the truck keys in the "Drop Box". When I got to my car, I realized that I had accidentally LEFT MY KEYS IN THE U-HAUL TRUCK!!! The temperature was down in the 30s BRRRRR and I had to act quickly!!! I contacted U-HAUL and quickly received a call back from Shari. She was there in LESS THAN 20 MINUTES to let me in my car (after checking to make sure that I was okay) and send me on my way!!! I am a 71 y/o lady with scheduled surgery in the next few weeks and I could not afford to catch a chill and get sick. I will be sure to recommend this GREAT U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE facility to others (they also have a State-of-the-art Hitch Installation Center!!! KUDOS TO MY HERO, SHARI DOOLEY, PLEASE RECOGNIZE HER GREAT SERVICE TO A FORGETFUL SENIOR!!! THANK YOU, SHARI DOOLEY xoxoxo
Anjuli ACustomer service person (Missy) was delightful to work with. The van she gave us was brand new and was amazing. This location is clean and in a good location for me they have everything from storage to maintenance and even a car wash on site.
