Difficulty getting to the storage facility

Be more customer friendly. I was pushed off to another location to complete my pickup and attachment of equipment. Whereby my equipment was installed incorrectly and I was not given information about how to handle equipment, the truck was loud, old, gas guzzler.

My trailer looked like it was used to haul dirt. It was cleaned out but there was still some dirt, a good amount, by the role up door.

Went to pick up the uhaul we reserved, showed the reservation number as well, they did not have our reservation at the location we selected. We had to drive another 10 min down the road to pick it up. Once we got to the other location, they did not have the 26 ft truck we reserved, apparently it was stolen. So they gave us a smaller truck, which in turn caused us to have to make more trips than what we planned. We requested to have the truck dropped off at another location, but the girl messed it up, even though we called and told her it was erong she said there was nothing she could do about it, so we were forced to return it back to where it was picked up. We will from now on pay a moving company and not use uhal.

They only had the new girl working by herself. She seems capable, but ill-prepared to work a busy shift on her own. With the amount of trucks building up in the parking area, there should have been at least one other member of staff available to keep the parking lot flowing. Look at your pick up and drop off schedule, is it going to be busy? Schedule more employees. The rental itself was as expected, pleasant to drive. If I need to do some moving I'll think about a uhaul again, just maybe not from the downtown one.

The inside of the UHaul was dirty and not kept clean. There was a lot of squealing when the heater was turned on.

Over all rating good. Need to improve on the return key steps and process you have to take, and do at night because of the location. But Love Your Facility And Very Helpful Staff.

Since this was not the original pickup location due to no one being at the original location and being moved to this location. Upon arrival there was no one at this location either. Had to wait approximately 45 minutes before someone finally showed up. Other than this the rental was good.

We had to change the trailer for a truck in Dallas, TX. The trailer should not even have been given to us. 1) It was too low to the ground. 2) the tires were not safe.

Desk clerk took a personal call while I was checking in. I also had pre-checked in online, but then had to repeat all the steps with them, so either your online system needs work or they didn't check to see if I had already done it.

Rats. Finicky and difficult keypads. Difficult to exit. Only one regular cart and one less useful one. Had to be fetched from another floor on the far side of facility. Staff gave no instruction on how to operate weird double keypad entry.

This was my first time to rent a U-Haul truck. It was an easy and very pleasant experience throughout the whole process. Except for all that furniture and stuff I had to move.

I rented the cargo van and it was extremely nice but I find that $217 was pretty expensive for having the van for 32 hours and driving it an hour from Shreveport on top of putting $35 in gas in it.

Was not given proper access instructions, luckily they were still in the office when I called. The way access is set up is ridiculous and difficult to operate. (you have to put your code in two separate panels in the correct order and with the correct delay between the two) There is no way to keep the door from closing to prevent having to do this over and over again. Doors were not functioning properly for exiting, the sliding door could only be opened from the outside. Was told I had to buy a lock, saw later on the invoice it came with a free lock. Etc Etc Etc

Honestly, I can't think of anything. Thomas took care of me this morning for my truck rental & even tho there were extenuating circumstances w/truck I rented he had 1 waiting for me. Danielle was awesome on my 2nd stressful trip there.She was so helpful to this tired, stressed senior citizen & I love her for it!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️

The low tire pressure light was on the dash the whole time. Didn't have any problems. But what I DON'T LIIKE IS THE HIDDEN FEES LIKE RENTAL TAX. Never explained to me when I made reservations. Paid a lot more than what was discussed by the clerk. It Never should have been over $200. That I DON'T Like!!!

Not every location had someone to detach car transport, which is very important when there is a time limit. Confusing to have car transport and truck checked in separately, even though there is no way to unload the truck while tow is still attached

I could not find out how to move my vehicle to the first floor. It was extremely inconvenient. One of the elevators wasn't even working. There needs to be better instructions on how to access the floor to your unit.

Ms.Eva at the Shreveport Louisiana Downtown Riverfront location was SO sweet, nice, caring and helpful. I had to do an emergency move and she did everything she could to help me. Shes a saint! I will miss her dearly, and the facility was the best location possible and I felt like my things were always safe. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I do feel like it was a little pricey though, and I wish there was a grace period for if when I moved my things out I could get my money back for that month. I moved my things out yesterday, so I basically paid like $150 for only two weeks of storage. Other than that, it was over all a fantastic experience.

I enjoyed having my things in a climate controlled room. I had stored a few boxes at my brothers in his shed in his backpack and it's just got a pull down garage door but my things were in there for only about 2 ½weeks and it looks like 2 ½ years! This states weather makes it almost impossible to have things day in and day out in this humidity and it's moisture mixed together is the perfect conditions for this fungus to flourish! At the same time I wl never, ever, ever use the 247 truck share crap again. Way too much to do on top of what you already have going on that day! Not the service but the functionality of it is NO Bueno.

It's always a pleasure working with this location. The only down fall is the unit has a concrete support beam which is taking away available space. Besides that it's always a good experience using the downtown location.

It would be helpful for service reps to explain the distance that you have to walk to get to the unit prior to confirming the reservation. We also didn't know how to locate our unit, so it would be helpful to tell customers the row number and the storage unit number.

The ladies who helped me were fantastic. They extremely courteous and worked with me to select the best storage unit for my needs. They explained everything clearly and concisely and were obviously well-suited to dealing with people who arrive exhausted and brain dead from a long drive / chaotic move. Uhaul has never failed me. I move very very often because of my profession, and the Uhaul offices are always a safe haven when I'm road weary. Thanks for everything!

I was using this facility and another simultaneously. (They had a 600 square foot unit available). Your facility is MUCH better run and much friendlier. A larger available room size is the only suggestion I can make.

What started off as a happy and elated experience quickly turned into a disaster becauseof U-haul. I hired movers through your site and the movers did not show up. This caused an extreme delay for me to start my journey. What makes it worse is that no one wanted to take responsibility for the horrible customer service. The company you have representing the movers told me you are responsible for all the EXYRA expenses I incurred. When I spoke to someone at U-haul they said the Movers help was responsible. Needless to say I couldn't reach the company that was responsible for not showing up. It makes me wonder if U-HAUL does any research on the company's you recommend?And why do you recommend companies when you don't back the company's??? I believe it's bad for business and im very leary about recommending U-haul for anything. My confidence has been broken.

The truck I received wasn't clean in the back, things were left inside such as: a stick , paper towels, very dusty and dead roaches. Also I did not get a key to lock my furniture in the back this experience was very unsatisfied. I took pictures and would like some type of discount.
