There was no problem with the truck, facility, or rental at all. I had an IT problem when I returned the truck last night. The U-Haul app wouldn't let me take a picture of the odometer and gasoline meter when holding my phone sideways. It took me a while to figure out that the picture would only be accepted when holding the phone vertically.

Scheduling an appointment for a hitch installation was easy, and the service was friendly and very efficient. Very satisfied with my experience with UHaul.

The staff is not very helpful they just told me where the universe at to go look at it myself if I like it I could take it and that was it nothing was explained to me otherwise since then I've been harassed about things that I did wrong and my girlfriend was there helping me sort through a lot of my belongings because I have things that are need to throw away and things I'm trying to keep and the staff for raster probation there without me being there and that she was the one doing in the ground there and she was very uncomfortable. My access card does not work. Sometimes have to swipe it five or six times to get it to work. And it's not 24 hours like other people's are I know for a fact that there is 24-hour access cards and I don't have one when I asked one of the staff to take to get me that you took my card and did something to it handed it back and said it should be good now and it's not.

Having to pay $60 if returned with fuel below 1/4 tank is ridiculous. For that reason alone I will not recommend.

I always choose the Atlas street location for trucks and trailers. The are excellent. It's also the only place I go when I need to have a trailer hitch. I've gotten two here and I know they will make sure everything is perfect.

Better service better trucks. The truck we got had damage the clerk took the key from the "NEEDS ATTENTION" area of key rack. Tire went low in about 3 miles had a horrible shake at highway speeds will not rent from here again

My booking turned into a huge inconvenience - my first reservation was booked at a different location, I drove 45 minutes to that location, the truck was not associated to my account so I had to call customer service and waited online 45 minutes to then be told that I was not going to be able to pickup my truck at that location. They rescheduled my reservation for a different location so I traveled there to then find out my reservation was not updated so I had to call customer service again and waited on hold 30 minutes. After 2,5 hours of waiting on hold and dealing with issues, I was finally able to pickup my truck. I will never use this service again if I don't have to.

I had no complaints. The people were very helful and accommodating. I went there on Monday the 11th to get info on a hitch. They Asked about installation date on maybe the 20th. I said i wanted it like yesterday. And they made it happen for me Tuesday the 12th. Cant get any better than that.

I was charged for damages on truck that I never did.

When taking the trailer off my car it rolled forward and he scratches my bumper in 2 spots about a 4 inch mark. I now have to pay to get this buffed out. He tried blaming me that i parked on an uneven slope. That is not my fault that their parking lot is sloped i thought this was extremely unproffesional and i demanded half my money back. He wanted to give me 5 dollars off. This is something that will cost a lot more then the 12$ i got back but im going to eat the cost. Likely wont be back.

When I arrived to pick up my rental, there was nobody inside the store. I waited for roughly 7 minutes before anyone came inside to help me. Besides the long wait, everything was really good. The truck seemed in very good operating condition and was clean inside and out. There was a no hassle, quick and easy return and I was under my estimated milage which resulted in a reduction of the original estimated charge. Overall, not a bad experience and will most likely use this location again in the future.

The movers were really nice and I don't want them to face backlash but damaged several pieces of furniture including a very expensive barn wood table and three dressers and scratched my tv stand. I don't think I'd use them again.

Disappointed that I reserved a 26' truck and was told U Haul could only provide a 20'. The day before picking up I was notified that I had to drive another 20 miles to pick up the truck being someone did not drop the truck off at the right location. This whole experience was disappointing at the very least.

Instructions for truck features and using my phone for the condition check app was vague -- a second staff person came out to see if I needed assistance and that was appreciated. Had a small problem when returning that was resolved to my satisfaction by the Uhaul fella at Sturgeon Bay location. I was to be charged an additional $66 because of extra mileage. I questioned that because: (A) I provided delivery destination at time of rental, (B) agreed upon the Sturgeon Bay return location (a UHaul corporate placce), and (C) drove the most direct route from Madison to Ellison Bay. The UHaul staffer was puzzled by this and wondered if the accross-town Madison drive from the far-away pick-up location contributed to this. He was able to eliminate the mileage charge and I appreciate his effort to do so. Also, I noticed later that I was charged for gas despite returning with a quarter tank of gas. I'm not challenging this, but will be more alert next time.

I've rented many times from here and it's rare these days to find a business that is about perfect. Fair pricing and staff who seem to enjoy their jobs even though it's probably full of customer hassles often. I just hope like many business uhaul doesn't sell off to some conglomerate and then it goes to hell.

An incident occurred where I owed 3 months for a storage unit. I was sent an email saying my unit was going into auction. I was ok with that. Then I get a phone call saying we can work out and agreement and you can pick up your items. Next thing I know I get a receipt from U-Haul showing they charged my WIFES card the full amount over $330 without any notice or anything. That card was not on autopay ever so it shouldn't have been charged at all. My wife and I are extremely upset. It feel like fraud. No one gave consent to charge the card at all. I will be pulling my items out of this unit and never coming back again. This had out my family in a tough place right before the holidays. This happened to me at the Madison East location 22 atlas ct. The GM was not very helpful In fact he said there's nothing he can do to change this. I even offered to make a agreement but instead I was charged the full balance!

There was a small leak in the middle of the ceiling that destroyed some of my LP covers and items but not enough to cause me a great deal of financial loss. Told the staff about the leak so it could be repaired before new tenants use the storage space.

When I arrived in the store there was no one in the store I yelled out hello several times and even walked back by break room and yelled hello but no response this was for a several minutes. I then went outside and yelled is anybody working here in this store? And went back in and then I went back out and the gentleman was coming in and said he finishing up something. When the agent was trying to move me to a bigger unit it the computer kept throwing him out of system 3 times so it took a while. Then another guy showed up and he took over and got me into a bigger unit. He also said it came with a lock. Then the other guy said since I had another key on my U-Haul I should have a lock on the door and should be able to lock as I was leaving it over night to unload on Saturday. I went to lock it and there was no lock on the U-Haul and the lock that I was given did not work. I went back in the store and told them this and was told the lock was for storage and then I would have to buy a lock. The gentleman that first helped me told the other guy shouldn't she get a discount on the lock she is buying? And the other guy said she got the lock for the storage. So I paid full price for that lock but then I got to thinking the second guy originally said the storage came with the lock. So I should have gotten a discount or free because I had to wait and literally yell outside for someone to come in. But really I should get October rent for free now that I think about it. Thank god I am a patient person. Just imagine if I was someone who goes nuts over a few minutes they would have gone ballistic!!!!

Facility was dirty. Lock was not in the unit as it was first advertised so had to find staff to get one. When attempting to cancel membership due to moving out took about 2 weeks for location to respond to a request made from corporate as they were the only ones to respond to attempts to cancel.

I reserved a climate controlled storage unit as part of a truck rental. When I arrived to unload, my reserved and confirmed storage unit was not available. I was informed that units were given out on a first come first served basis. I was offered a non climate controlled unit that was insect infested, rusty, and damp. I would not pay any amount for that unit and only took it because the first month was free and had no other options. Apparently reservations are not honored by uhaul. I will be moving my possessions to a different facility that offers climate controlled units as soon as possible.

I am very disappointed that I was asked when I got the locker that they needed one of my keys. Well now they don't require that anymore but yet I was not told or contacted so that I was able to receive my spare key and now after all this time approximately 10 years I am told they don't have it. I am extremely disappointed and very upset. I would like to be reimbursed for my lock. Or have U-Haul pay for another key to be made. Any questions feel free to contact me. Thank you 608-658-5635.

Originally had a reservation at another storage place, but their manager was MIA & wasn't responding to calls. So I made reservation at U Haul and it worked right away. The manager of the other place still hasn't called me back, and I've already moved everything into the UHaul storage

I spent an extra 45 minutes because the staff checking me in couldn't get the gate to work. Turns out he didn't turn on the computer with the program opened. Seems kind of basic? Definitely frustrating. Then today, someone called my sister first asking about my storage unit and if I had moved out. I had literally moved in the day before. When I called back, they had the wrong unit number for me. People don't seem to know everything and aren't on the same page? There also didn't seem to be enough people to help, there were people waiting a long time when I was checking in. Friendly people and want to help, just don't seem to know how maybe.

Had to wait a long time. Need more employees, Phone service is horrible, was on hold for 96 minutes and still no one answered the phone. had to make a unnecessary trip. Very disappointed with the situation. So had to go to the counter, Line was long so waited for 20 minutes again.

I booked two weeks in advance. This review is for the Warner Park location. I show up exactly as planned and am told they have 0 units. Planning a move is difficult and stressful. If you are able to book a unit online it should be available. Or call me. You can't even call the location. I was on hold for hours a couple of times, then you get routed to central booking, and they know nothing. It was horrible. Don't ever bother.

Dirty unit, was told there would be a lock on the door when I got there and there wasn't. Unit was blocked by a U-Haul van when I first got there. Overall is fine for short storage, but certainly not what I was expecting and I don't think worth the price per month that the unit costs.

The first day l put my treasures in your storage area It was In the winter and it was so toasty warm in your facility . Overall your employees did a good job to help me anyway they could, however I brought to u haul attention that I found two mice dead in my unit 1101 and thought I would get a reimbursement how ever that was not optional, I had this unit for over two years. Thank you uhaul

I couldn't find my reservation after booking it and needed to cancel it! I am new to Wisconsin and wouldn't find the location I reserved to call either. I never got a confirmation email or text.

I was directed to go to 710 Cottage Grove Rd where there was no one in attendance to check me in. The truck i reserved wasn't there, the equipment and moving materials are orders where not there.
