Got truck loaded and when ready to leave the truck would not start. Called roadside assistance, when they got there they said the battery was dead. They had to go and get a new battery and install. Was down for over 2 hours. I had to pay my moving guys for the time down. Location manager said he couldn't compensate me anything for the inconvenience of me having to pay my moving guys. When returning the truck the location manager was outside cleaning his personal vehicle.

The quaestions are only about the pick up location. Where are the questions about UHaul the company? The online reservation system does not work ! I followed the instructions which included adding a payment method and my DL number and was instructed to pick up my vehicle using the App. I couldn't figure out how to get the app to work at pick up and had to ask for help and was informed by the receptionist that the app does not work and had to go through the registration process again. Really!

This location has horrible customer service. U-haul had check engine light on and a notification to check cap even though the cap was on tight and secure. Felt like U-haul needed a new transmission. DONT GO HERE!

Not clean U-Haul was full of rodents. Customer service sucks. Everybody needs to be fired. They had a kids running around in the store while they were working they were eating on the clock. Moral Of the story they need a new crew because the ones they have now is very unacceptable.

There was a piece of metal siding hanging off the vehicle on the driver side, as well as a notification light indicating that the right driver-side tire needed air. Neither of these seemed much cause for concern for the person at the desk. I only needed the truck for a few miles so it didnt inconvenience me, but I was still worried I'd have a blowout/flat.

Need to look up my issue with my initial reservation. The trailer was not returned on time by the previous renters. The person at the store had to track down another trailer with customer service and sent me to this location. Customer service didn't move my reservation to here but luckily they did have trailers at the site for one way rentals. By the time I was able drive between locations and back home it was just over 2 hours so I could start packing the trailer and get traveling. So it was dark while finishing up and hurrried, but I am glad I was only compensated only 50 dollars.

My overall experience renting from U-Haul was excellent but their system recognize my debit card as a cash app card and it placed $100 hold on my card which was okay because I had the extra cash but what if I didn't this is something that needs to be fixed within the system not everybody has cash app it's an actual debit card.

Pickup was fast, great customer service throughout, the lady had problems printing out my ticket at return, stating that the computer wouldn't allow it, as it was running slow. I also had a problem with the app, and when I went to verify the truck at pickup, your website would not allow me to upload pictures. Overall, 100 % better than my last experience!

The keypad don't work and when you ask for help the girls was like I don't know call customer support. Very rude like the whole unit is unsafe the way you have to put your stuff up and it has holes

Overall, my experience was satisfying. For improvement, I suggest the following: 1. More training for staff sitting at the desk. 2. To have an accurate recording of gas level and odometer readings. It happened several times to me that one or both recordings were quoted wrong when I received the contract. After returning the vehicle once, the odometer reading and gas mileage were quoted wrong. I was over charged approximately $100 because the digits were recorded wrong. Another time I was charged $8 for the gas while I put 3 gallons for a 16 miles total trip. The manager took care of the mileage charge after hearing my complaint. For the gas, the manager offered me a refund, but I declined.

I would have liked to be informed before hand the storage facility had no elevator. My storage unit was on the second floor storage, it was inconvenient with no elevator. Also I found out afterward, I couldn't get into the storage after the office was closed. Also inconvenient.

The claim to my unit was difficult only because I'm old LOL it was a very clean unit friendly staff, as a matter of fact every time I was there to move stuff around someone always ask if I needed help. I thought that was very special. I will return one day but I will make sure I get a unit on the bottom floor no stairs LOL thanks for the great customer service

I didn't have no problems with the U-Haul storage Team.... They even closed my account out without out me having to come back and forth because I moved kinda far. Also when I was late I got an email reminder that am late, sometimes I got a phone call so I love them for being such a great team/staff.

The facility did not have a storage unit available which would fit all of my belongings so 2 units were needed for a 1 bedroom apartments. The 1st unit smells of rats and had several rats trapped inside. The way the unit is set up, someone else is able to see all of your belongings (vice versa) which does not make me feel safe.

You charged my card over $500 twice without my permission. The first one was refunded after I had to call you and get that taken care of. (This happened because I moved across the country with a U-Haul truck that broke down in Texas and was replaced with a U-Haul that leaked and destroyed most of my valuables. The U-Haul staff did not account for the different mileage on the truck swapped out in Texas, and without my knowledge, my card was charged). The second charge you refused to look into without me providing my credit card number over the phone, so I filed a dispute with my bank and they discovered this was a fraudulent charge and they refunded me. Every time I came into your facility to pay for my storage (to store my damaged items that U-Haul was responsible for) most of your staff was condescending and rude. I never received an apology. No kind words. Just arrogance. I have recorded all your names and have documented the conversations I've had with you. After my surgery and I start to feel better I'm starting with the BBB and I'm not stopping until I get some answers and restitution. I'm not going away.

The storage was great, but your IT infrastructure needs work. Auto pay never worked, and reminder emails sent out often got buried due to email name being Hard to find.

I had the unit for 5 years following a house fire. Went thru about 4 facility managers. Which were awesome until about last few months of 2021. More strict on rules. I think some things should be case by case sometimes. My husband had a massive stroke...there making 10 grand a month to 1500 a month in disability is a huge change trying to make ends meet is huge. But at any rate the staff is very nice and helpful. Everyone has a job to do.

I had to throw a couch away because of roaches and the amount of rat urine and droppings on it. The woman inside was RUDE and did not want to help me.
