Chris TThis location used to be very good with friendly and competent employees. However, now the employees are not pleasant to work with. They carry on conversations among themselves which is extremely rude while you are supposed to be helping a customer. They also have a general lack of work ethic which is quite apparent.

Paul WAfter I drive off the lot, the low fuel light came on. It was supposed to be at 1/4 tank, but it was not. I had to put $35 dollars of fuel in for my daily rental. I also was switched to this location that was further away from my house.

Alesia JI am frustrated that I was charged a $30 fee on top of gasoline charge for being just a couple gallons under what they believed they provided me at the start of the rental. The gauge showed just under 1/4 of a tank and I returned it just under 1/4 of a tank, yet somehow it was decided I owed $66 for a perceived couple gallons difference. I generally like this uhaul station, but this gas charge was ridiculous and I am not satisfied.
Matthew CGreat folks, great parking area to leave trailer. Helped with unloading and couldn't believe the other location had the trailer parked on a hill and didint have wheel stoppers.

Federico GI have used u-haul many times and always had a great experience. This was a horrible experience. The truck I was rented was awful. It had over 100 000 miles on it and should be taken out of service or maintained better. The driver's side door had to be slammed for it to close. I was on the highway before I realized the door was not shut all the way. Second, you should not rent a vehicle in TX if the AC does not work. I had to drive with windows down because it was so hot the day I rented it. I wanted to share my experience with the manager but it was obvious he could care less as he was smoking his cigarette outside the door so I just gave them my keys and left. I will still probably rent trailers from UHaul but if I need a truck I will go to Pensky. I also would never rent from this location again.

Bruce PI have spent 1,5 decades at this storage facility within the same unit. It was sad to say goodbye as the service has been great, the lighting, CLEANLINESS and alarm systems were phenomenal and the location was easier to get to before the city put a divider in the center of 380, which was not the fault of uhaul. Moving out was bitter sweet. I'm extremely pleased with this location.

Johnnie TThe truck had extra damage compared to photos, higher mileage than in the pre departure checklist, and the remaining fuel (1/16) was of a very low quality causing very loud engine operation and no power available. Empty Truck would rev to 4K just to reach 40 mph. I thought the hand break is engaged but it was the fuel. The truck returned to normal operation after refueling with 89 octane fuel.

Edward J"I had a terrible experience at U-Haul today. The store's machines were incredibly slow, making me wait for 30 minutes just to complete my transaction. To make matters worse, they didn't have a small truck available, forcing me to settle for a larger one. The truck I received was dirty, with muddy tires, and shockingly, the back of the truck wasn't even closed when I drove off the lot. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone."
Zeeshan QThe first trailer's left light didn't work. The installer wanted me to take it anyway. I made him switch the trailer for another one. I spoke to the manager and he said he would take care of it.

The U-Haul member who assisted me then apologized and ran thru the facility to find out that the were no 10x10 units available for rent. He then called the nearest location "McKinney" after he confirmed that there was a unit available there I then drove down the road just to find out that they also had no units available. I was very disappointed. I will likely never rent from U-haul again.

jennifer l | Premières impressionsAfter sending us to our 10x10 only for it to have a lock on it...2x.....they upgraded us to a 10x15 at no charge....I let them know we needed it through February and he said he would honor our price...so we will see......as far as reservations calling us to pick up our equipment in Corpus Christi....that was horrible..the lady was rude and it was such an inconvenience to even get our equipment..I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance and was told it doesn't matter because they don't look at that until 24 hours before....and it is what it is....I don't think I would use uhaul again for transportation....I paid over $800 to be treated rude, nor get my desired location or time

Any time i requested assistance from your staff they either never follow up or would make me feel like i was stupid/broke the door. It would take me an hour if not longer to get this unit closed or open, i have photos and video of this happening both when closing and opening the unit door. Ontop of that? Most of my stored belongings had to be discarded due to Rats eating my boxes/urine and fecal matter scattered all over my belongings. My rent was increased with no added accommodation or maintenance. The staff are inattentive and more worried about listening to music and checking their snapchats than they are about their job.

Gloria A | Expérience généraleThis facility is in terrible condition with the exception of the storage units themselves. There was no keypad to control entry. Anyone can enter the storage building when the lot is open. There are individual alarms on each unit but hey only last a moment and there are no instructions on how to deactivate them or are there any responses to alarms. An individual with a simple bolt cutter could have a field day opening units and rifling the contents. There is trash and debris all over the entrance to the area. There was no one to receive return trucks. There was insufficient staff to service customers. The wait in line was well over 30 minutes and then the staff seemed to be more interested in seeing which of their coworkers they could palm off work to, many of the did little or nothing but spent the majority of the time trying to get someone else to do the work. In summary, the place is very busy but mainly due to poor management and worker performance. The facility is falling apart. Many things are in urgent need of repair. For the owners I am sure it is a license to print money, but they do not seem at all interested in the long haul value of their business or in providing any type of customer satisfaction. Deplorable.

I believe customers should be made aware of and given the choice or opportunity to decide if they want their items to be infested in the storage units. Terri M | Premières impressionsYou have issues at your store. Juan you are part of tge problem. you never returned calls when I had an issue when I was moving my storage unit out. I was there to puck up truck at 6:30 am was not able to get tge lock off. 2 employees that were moving trucks around tried. They said I would have to wait until 7 until someone opened the store . Well the person was late They did not arrive until 730 no it's been one hr after my pick up time. We were given a different truck never did a check in. We got one storage unit unloaded and went around to unload the one inside. Nope no place to back the truck up because umpty trailers were parked in the spots. Returned the truck at 1230 I asked to speak to tge manager about the mess of the day. Jaun was out somewhere getting a truck. So they said to call him in 45 minutes . I told the lady that my unit was now empty and told her about the situation of not being able to empty the otger unit due to empty trailers . My son left 2 messages and never got a return call. Never got the truck checked in either they said because it was raining. We never got a receipt. Later that day I called the general uhaul number and spoke to a lady. She informed me that if you do nit get the equipment promised you are suppose to get a $50 credit. Interesting that not one oerson working that day mentioned that. She gave me the credit ,sent me a receipt and I told her that my unit was empty. I also asked her to email Jaun that we would like a call back. Again NO RETURN CALL !!!. Then yesterday I got a message from your facility stating you noticed my unit was empty. So I called and spoke either Craig and let him know that he is now the 3rd person I have told my unit is empty. Your communication and customer service needs improvement. I will be expecting some money off when I empty our other unit since it was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE we were not able to do it that day !!! So Jaun you to get it together !!!

I had to drive 10 miles to retrieve. The manager defended his staff initially saying they wouldn't do that then I asked him if the Uhaul staff at the location I picked up from failed to check the pin, then a light came on, was friendly but young and needs experience dealing with customers!

They charged me a late fee and put a lock on my unit. They did of course correct their mistake and remove the lock and fee once I reminded them I am on auto pay. They also apologized and stated they didn't know why it decided not to run the card. Other than that, they were excellent. Well lit. Plenty of space. Plenty of carts to transport. Staff was usually always at the front desk so there was little to no waiting to talk to someone.

Marc J | Expérience généraleDuring our short stay I have tried to reach someone in person multiple times. Phone calls impossible and numerous emails unanswered. Expect to have to go to the office, in person, to ask or resolve any issues. During my check-in process there were untrained staff running the front desk. The owner, in person, actually said he will process my free month but he never did. As I checked out the employee working the desk was wonderful and handled my free month, hopefully. Still waiting for verification. Make sure this facility also trains you on how to enter the storage facility. Tip. You must swipe your care on the left hand card reader. Do not use the one on the right. The staff knows the one on the right doesn't work. Also the sliding glass door will always be open making the facility unsecure.

Then they did a fire inspection and update of the building that required our lock key left at the office until it was complete. It took forever and it was a pain to go to the office to key my key each time I needed to go into my unit. This June I was late on my payment for the 1st time in all these years because I was out of state at the time and payment was overlooked. I got charged $30 in late fees! They also locked my unit. I went to clean out my unit a couple of weeks after got back in town. I had already made the late payment and the lock was still on there. I had to go to the office to get it removed. The past few times I've been in the office it has been a long wait for assistance because there is only one person working the counter. Plus, I have been unable to get the location on the phone. Keep getting a main location automated system. Very frustrating experience the past 3 years. Glad I am all moved out as of July 15, 2021.

When I arrived the door to access the facility was broken and no lock was inside my unit. I couldn't secure my belongings and had to make other arrangements. I called the next day and was on hold for over 45 minutes. Had to go into the facility to cancel my order and they were severely understaffed. Too many other storage facilities around to risk your belongings at this place.

A month later the manger left me a voicemail stating they found a lock on the unit I was renting so they reopened the unit under my name. The fact that this can even be done is just crazy. Several calls to them to correct the issue but the manger was never available and the help desk said they would leave a message for him to call me back. March 30th 2021 - I finally receive a call back from U-Haul but only because I haven't paid my "rent". I explained my situation for the 10th time. Never received an apology but it appears the unit is finally closed out of my name... for now.

My 2014 Subaru Outback Needed major surgery to expand the holes to install the trailer hitch. Joshua broke his drill and borrowed a drill from another Uhaul facility which also broke! Mr. Sneed bought a new drill the next morning and personally completed the hitch installment by noon!! I was treated like his family and we became friends! *I am moving to Prosper soon and I will Return his kindness.. and reward him (somehow) with an appropriate action!! Then on Sunday when I went to go unload into the units, employess had parked their cars at the unloading doc. Someone came ot move a car but I had unloaded so she just left at the doc. I did and the auto payment hit anyone a few days later. I called but got someone who is not at that store and she took a message. I went into the store and was given a receipt that says it was reversed but it still hit my account. I should have gotten my refund plus a pro rated refund for the prior month of a few days, but you have many broken processes

On Feb 24th, I emailed the branch manager notifying them that I had closed my account a week earlier and disputed the charge with my credit card company. I received no response. On March 23rd, I was charged again. I went to the U-haul website and closed my account again and disputed the charge with my credit card company again. On April 2nd, I received a late notice from the branch about my failure to pay for the storage unit and notification that I was being charged a $15 late fee. I again emailed the branch manager the above information and didn't receive a response. I am extremely disappointed with the branch's account management and will never use U-Haul Moving & Storage of Frisco Prosper again. They have lost me as a customer forever. Please feel free to use this feedback directly with the branch so they can learn from this incident.

I was charged for a full month and a few days later was my move in day, so uhaul got a months rent for a few days of storage. There was nothing I could do because I couldn't move two full storage lockers early so I was stuck paying for the full month. This left a sour taste in my mouth on a otherwise perfect experience.
