I don't have any complaints with the company or the U-Box that was delivered. The U-Box was delivered to my address on time and set up where I needed it. When I needed to extend the U-Box the lady I spoke to over the phone helped me and was very patient and nice throughout the process.

This location is far from me which makes the mileage go way up. Just about every time I try to rent a truck there isnt anything local and it will switch me to the gretna location which is even worse both in distance and location. In the future I may have to just go thru a car rental agency, the rates come out the same

The girl at the counter was not so bad, I had done the self check in so our interaction was limited. Now the guy that helped me get the trailer was another story. I had pulled my vehicle up to the trailer location, retrieved the ball connection from inside my vehicle and put it on. From my previous rentals from uhaul, that is the extent of what im supposed to do. I was standing at the open door to my car and i hear the guy loudly say to me "im waiting for you to help me push the trailer out!" I was surprised and told him "Im sorry, I didnt realize you needed my help." I walk over and help him pull out and turn the trailer around, as we are aligning the hook to the ball, i realize he his "helping me" with one hand in his pocket. We get it connected and locked down and he tells me to turn on the blinkers to he can check it...i go to my car and press the brakes and blinkers, but i didnt hear anything so i get out and he's still standing at the rear of my car looking at his phone. I finally had to tell him "are we done or what?" THEN he walks to the back of the trailer and has me do the brakes and blinkers again, finally to clear me to leave. His sense of professionalism and urgency were lacking to say the least. Try another location for better service if you can.

I made a reservation this store it was for 4:15 pm I made it a week in advance but on the day I called to come pick up the truck they said the reservation had been canceled because I didn't pick the truck up for 4:15 AM and I didn't order the truck at 4:15 AM. I ordered it for 4:15 PM for Friday, March 29, 2024. I was very disappointed I was supposed to be $19 for the truck and wanted the pain $69. That is very unacceptable and no I would not rent from you anymore. Next time I rent it will come from budget or some other truck rental

I was not happy with the fact that my price kept going up, The unit #0073 had a big heater or something in the ceiling that was rusted and when I ask for a different unit, they could not accommodate me. and that particular rusted heater not sure what it was actually took away from my space in the unit. Also, there were mice in the unit I wish I would have been accommodated. The price kept going up. And even though I had no where to put my stuff, I had no choice but to pay.

I was scheduled to do mobile pick up at 7am. Upon arrival I had to call customer service. I was informed that my reservation was not available and would have to come back at 9am. Because of this, I lost time and money. The staff was very friendly though.

Despite notifying staff of moving out of storage unit on 28 Dec 2023, AND picking up a truck reserved to relocate to Baltimore, U-Haul STILL collected storage fees for Jan 2024 on an empty unit. Staff was only helpful and friendly when they received payment. The manager, Ms. Lisa, at least contacted me. This is the SECOND TIME U-Haul did this. It happened when I moved from Jackson TN to New Orleans in July 2021. Contacted U-Haul and spoke with that manager, but STILL waiting to be reimbursed for BOTH charges. My Jacksonville FL unit from 2006-2017 was looted and the locks changed. No resolution for that one either. Would recommend with caveats.

The bottom part of the rubber seal on the door of the UBox was ripped, leading to water leaking in to the box every time it rained. Ensuring proper sealing of each UBox before ship-out would be helpful.

Originally ordered 15ft truck. Upon arrival, only 26ft available and no dolly. Urged to travel to Mississippi to pick up a 15ft truck if that is what I ordered. Found the 26ft needed a SERIOUS alignment as I had to fight with the steering for the entire 17 hour trip to avoid drifting into adjacent lanes and causing accidents. Just an attitude of indifference and disinterest in customer satisfaction.

I don't know which is better, a 24 hour self storage or one that denies access after a certain hour. The day that I moved in I wish that I could've been granted a bit more time. Instead I had to rush to get my things in before 10pm. Also, I thought that I already had a lock from a previous time that I rented a storage, so I didn't purchase one at the time. I called Uhaul (before closing) to request that a storage lock that I ordered online be placed in my unit. I was directed to their 1-800... number because I suppose that the location that I rented from was no longer accepting calls. When I did get to Uhaul later that day to move in my things, the lock was not in there. That's all. Good bye.

The Guy that works for you with the Dreads stole my freezers from my storage 2 days after I put them in. Mysteriously the cameras were not working that day. I complained ned to yall, and yall ignored it. You also had a guy living in on of the storages next to mine, ....

Pulled up to the Uhaul and was told that I had to pay for my storage unit upfront when my first month suppose to be free. The rep who was at the front had no knowledge of how to apply my or rectify my discount. I paid upfront and was told to call customer service. Next I go to my storage unit and unload the truck and went to return the keys. The rep told me that I unloaded everything wrong. After I inquired to her and asked well why you didn't say that when I was up here she didn't mention anything to me nor did she even show me where my storage unit was. We unload everything again and come to find out the someone was already in the unit assigned to me and the unit next to me they had no keys. It's cold and raining outside by the way. She assigns me to another unit which she had gave us the wrong key yet again and had to assign me to another unit. This is the third time. The unit she assigns to me after we finally gets in has a big pole in the middle where I can't fit any of my belongings (couches). We tried to inform her of this and she completely ignored us. So unprofessional. I packed up everything and went to another company. Please do not rent from this location. They are so unprofessional and the customer service was terrible. I will be following up with corporate on this issue because the rep actually put 3 storage units under my name. She didn't even know how to do her job and it shows. NEVER RENT FROM HERE.

My card on file was hacked and shut off by my CC company; so I had to ask my Mom to call in and make a payment. Despite the fact that I've been a loyal customer to uhaul for many years and the van I had rented up to date on payments and the reservation extended through the 800#; whoever was in the store that day told my Mom that my truck was a week overdue and that uhaul would be sending out a "control" team and the truck would be repossessed and I'd be arrested?!?!? As if moving isn't stressful enough; YOU ADD THIS TO DAY?!? Told my MOM I'M A TRUCK THIEF AND I'LL BE ARRESTED?!?!? Well despite the fact that my original plan was to get rid of my other storage units and move into this one; those plans changed immediately. My Mom being told that combined with the basically nude street walkers perpetually in front of this establishment and the fact that I wasn't able to pull out one day due to someone being "serviced" in the uhaul driveway I need to use to exit; had me rethink my choice. I removed all my belongings immediately which only served to make the truck another day late. I was so angry when I dropped it off, I couldn't even go into the store for fear I'd absolutely and entirely lose my temper with whoever was there. I moved out of her unit 2 days into the month of my monthly rental. I feel I should be offered the prorated funds for the remainder of the month back…. I seriously doubt that tho I will be teach reaching out to the GM shortly… I'm hoping to handle this situation with the Grace and consideration I was not at all offered by the staff here.

I had no issue with this storage but my move out date was prior to the date indicated in this survey. The attendant informed me that there were no additional steps to complete when I returned the main key. I would say that the only improvement is to confirm on the company's end when move outs are complete to avoid and discrepancies. Overall, I am satisfied.

I told the Manager that I may not need the storage unit after all and ask if I could get a refund the next day if I didn't use the storage unit I was told no. When I went to take my lock off the unit a couple of days ago a gentleman told me that he had never heard of that and I should have been able to get my money back. Somebody lied to me. Either the Manager or the attendant.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with U haul and I will not be supporting the company anymore, I will also never recommend your company and I have shared my negative experience with others. I was having electrical problems with my house so I rented a storage unit because the house needed to be rewired and I had to relocate, the next day the house caught on fire, I never even had a chance to move into the unit, after finding somewhere to go and dealing with the stress of a house fire I called back U haul to try and get a refund for the unit I never moved into because I had to pay the deposit on the house I found, it had been about 4 days and I called multiple times but kept being told to call back, they refused to give me a refund for the unit I never moved into because they said it had been past 24 hours. After all the support I have given U haul in my life you all showed no sympathy or compassion for someone who was going though a hard time and just trying to get a refund. that $100 was severely needed and I had to go without food for almost a week because everything I had went towards a deposit on a new house, you all made a bad situation for me so much worse. Your company is completely out of touch with the people your supposed to be providing a service for, your 24 hour refund policy combined with the overpriced storage units is ridiculous and just greedy. going forward I would rather go out of my way to find real people to help me move and I will find alternative storage units because a company as out of touch as U haul does not deserve the support of the people and I will make sure to let as many people know about this horrible experience as I can

There was bugs in the unit that actually got into some of my bins. There was rat traps as well. Furthermore, the unit did not have enough light so it was hard to see when moving all the stuff out.

I rented a UBOX. I have been asking them for about a month to pick it up. They have yet to do so and have charged me for another month on my credit card which I expect a credit.

Very helpful staff. Calling the office can be frustrating because hold times are excessive , but that seems endemic to every U-Haul location I've ever used. I would rent again from this location.

Ordered storage boxes online. Spoke to Hammond, La. driver, Heidi and met her upon arrival. Very nice and professional. Spoke to her again about pickup. Again nice and professional.

Awful service! Staff is terrible,system is not working,waited for 3 days to receive a call back to schedule delivery of U-box,on the 4-th day was forced to pay extra and delivered it myself.Stay away

I had so many problems with my U-box container shipment. It was supposed to be delivered by September 8th. I originally went online all the way back in July to select this date and they couldn't do it

I rented a U-Box and did NOT visit the facility. It took at least 10 calls to arrange for pick up. I was charged even though u-box was not picked up on time through NO fault of my own, NEVER AGAIN!

I can't comment on the actual storage facility as I never saw it. Boxes were dropped off at my new apartment. Everyone on the staff that I dealt with was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful!!

I used the U-haul box and the size was misrepresented when I spoke with a representative. I could barely fit a half a room in the storage box. The representative didn't go over exactly what I needed.

I was very disappointed with the services. The guaranteed delivery time was not adhered to. When I inquire about a rescheduled time, I was told, "I was lucky to be on the list, this was a busy time"

It was complicated to get access, because I needed to go get the person with a key at the office every time before getting into the unit. Otherwise it was very neat and well run!
